perhaps the weakness in his leg slowed the champion down just a bit, but it was enough for Nuke to roll him up as he turned intending to drop him.
one....two....three!
Drako is unable to kick out, unknowingly due to Nuke's advantage with the ropes, and for the first time in seven months has been pinned. He ends up sitting against the ropes, disbelief on his face

Nuke drops his legs from the ropes and rolls away towards a turnbuckle, his eyes wide as his music hits the PA.
Can you tell by the look in her eyes?
We're going nowhere!
We live our lives like we're ready to die!

Getting to his feet with the help of the ropes, Nuke stands and raises a fist in the air, to the cheering and adulation of the crowd. He takes a few moments basking in the glory before climbing a turnbuckle opposite, facing away from Drako and raising both fists in the air, the music pumping and the crowd reveling in the return and victory of the Uncrowned Champion.

Drako brushes his hair back out of his face as Nuke's music hits the PA and he celebrates his win. The last person to pin him in FG had been Salem in the title tournament. Since winning the gold, he hadn't been beaten, until now.
As the champion mulls this over, two now familiar figures run in from backstage. With Nuke's back turned, Marcus and Blaze enter the ring and look to blast the Uncrowned Champion from behind with a shot to the back of the head

Nuke was indulging the victory too much to even bother checking his surroundings. I mean, would he need to after facing an honourable opponent like Drako?
He slowly makes his way down from the turnbuckle, ready to turn and go to the opposite one and .. Thud!
Fusion is dropped to the mat as hard shots ring his head, his forehead also bouncing off the middle turnbuckle as he dropped down.
The crowd rang out a chorus of boos and jeers as the music was cut, the commentators choosing some choice words and exclaiming that Drako needed to get in there and stop this unsolicited mauling!

The two giants aren't going to stop there, as the big men look to simply rain down stomps.
However before they can start or really get them in, the champion gets up and pulls them both back, standing in between Nuke and the boys. Marcus and Blaze seem to back off, looking down at the champion
JR: Look at this, King: The Syndicate came out and just leveled Nuke after he pinned the World champion, and the champion is backing his family off.
King: Oh dang it, here goes that goodie goodie act. Come on, let them at it."
Drako continues to stand where he is, telling the Syndicate to back off. Just when it seems he has things well in hand, he would turn aim to kick Nuke squarely in the groin

By the point that the stomps were raining down, Nuke was really taking a beating, and hard. He suddenly felt the attack stop as he looked up and saw Drako standing between him and his assailants.
He gets up to one knee, then two, and takes his time in doing so. The toll of the match, coupled with the attack, has really taken away his energy. Finally getting to his feet, he nods and goes to thank Dra-

as Nuke falls, Blaze goes to the outside and grabs the World championship belt, then slides back in and hands it to the champion. The boos are raining down but the job isn't done here.
"Get him up!" Drako orders.
Marcus and Blaze goes to pull Nuke up, one intending to hold his arms back on each side.
The champion would then get close enough to make sure Nuke hears him.
"Remember, you're the Uncrowned champion, and you're going to stay that way!"
With that, Drako would look to blast Nuke in the head with the championship belt

In that moment, the crack of metal on bone rings out across the arena, as the World Heavyweight Championship connects with the skull of Nuke Fusion.
He would have fallen back to the mat if it wasn't for the two towering men still holding him by his arms, keeping him there until told otherwise.
A small trickle of blood drips from the middle of his forehead, making it's way slowly down the creases in Nuke's sunken face before finally dripping from off the tip of his nose.

If one is going to issue a beat down, might as well do it right. the title belt had done it's job, but there's something about being more up close and personal. So the champ drops the title and just looks to rain punches down on Nuke's head instead, the intention clearly to open that wound up further as Blaze and Marcus continue to hold the Uncrowned champion as close to upright as he'll get

The camera view was obscured as Drako's arm came up and then crashing down on Nuke's upper body, time and time again it pummeled in to him.
The crowd had an odd mix of hatred, morbid curiosity and that feeling of not wanting to watch.. as the beating continued.
When the camera is just able to get a good shot, what was a small wound to the forehead has now opened up, and there was a steady stream of crimson liquid making it's way down Nuke's face to his body, leaving a small pool underneath him.

Eventually the champion stops swinging and takes a step back. He looks to the Syndicate and points up.
"Take him up and drop him, now!"
Marcus and Blaze need no further direction, as they switch their grip to both grab Nuke by the throat, attempting to lift and plant him with a double chokeslam

There was absolutely no fight left in the Uncrowned Champion, as his bloodied body was lifted up by the two bigger men. A hand around his throat each, Fusion was lifted high in to the air.. and slammed mercilessly down.
His body bounced twice off the mat from the sheer force as it did so, blood flicking off the wound and spraying the men as they hit their finishing move.

Drako gestures for Marcus and Blaze to move and the two step away. Drako grabs the title belt again and places it in the center of the ring, then goes to pull Nuke up in a front facelock.
"This is the closest you'll ever get to my title!"
With that, he would attempt to drive Nuke's head into the title belt with the Dragon Shot

At the mercy of the Champion, Nuke is dragged a last time up and he hears some muffled words in his ear. His face was now more crimson than Caucasian, as blood made it's way in to his eardrums as well.
Before he has any chance to even think of a response, his skull is impaled in to the canvas, as Drako his the Dragon Shot.
Nuke laid motionless on the mat, the World Heavyweight Championship next to his bloodied head..

Drako picks up the championship belt as he stands over Nuke, Marcus and Blaze standing on each side of him. The champion slowly raises the title belt as the fans boo and his own music hits the PA.
JR: What the hell is this? Why damn it, WHY?
King: It looks like the champion didn't take too well to Nuke not only beating him, but cheating to do it. Now look at him, the Uncrowned champ is a bloody mess. Ha ha!
JR: How can you condone this? All this over a nontitle loss?
King: When you're the champ, you're all about winning, and it sounded like the champ wanted to drive home the fact that he's not letting Nuke Fusion of all people take his title from him
