^^ That works. Yeah, when we had our apartment Joe would do his gaming on Monday nights, leaving me to cook in peace. I liked it because he wasn't trying to eat what I was cooking, and he liked it because when he got home there was usually a cheesecake, peanut brittle, or something else yummy to eat.
Gawd, I miss my kitchen! gonk

I have a group of friends that come from various place around the world (they are for the most part immigrants that came to the french learning school where my boyfriend is right now). Sometimes we get together and bring traditionnal foods to try. It's so much fun! Last week end I had a "Choros" (spelling?). It's a mexicain doughnut with hard icing on the top that taste just like a cookie! I heard it's a fairly easy recipe to make (although I hadn't tried it yet). And with VERY few ingredients: for the dough itself, I think you only need water, flour, butter and eggs. You eat this with your coffee mmhmmmm. Got to love mexican ingenuity 3nodding yum yum

Churros! Actually churros are more like a long sort of cinnamon twist. I should find you a picture of a churro. I always laugh because I remember the episode of Mucha Lucha where The Flea eats too many churros and makes himself ill...and somehow animates a huge angry pinata to boot. biggrin
What you have pictures of is Pan Dulce...literally sweet bread. smile However, they are pretty good... heart Comida mexicana es un tipo de comida mas mejor en todo el mundo!

xd Hinoraito, you're so cute. Want to hear something funny? I've lived near Mexico for a looooong time, and I've never been across the border. I really need to go.
I can't fault you for eating everything you find...I probably would do that too.

Vanilla talk There's a new kind of peanuts now: VANILLA peanuts eewww xp it starts by tasting like vanilla, then peanuts (the taste doesn't seem to blend together). I just like the normal peanuts, bbq peanuts and the sweet ones. I heard the honey coated are good. Anyone tried these? Eh, have you notice that everything seems to have "vanilla" taste now? It seems that all the new brands of stuff now have the label: NOW with vanilla flavour!!!!!!!!! Before it was cinnamon, now it's vanilla... what next?!?! I dont especially like vanilla cause I was forced to eat vanilla ice cream only when I was young cause that's all my dad ever liked and bought razz

My husband is so cute. Since I spent part of my childhood in New York one of my all time favorite foods is Italian Sausage with bell peppers and onions. But since we lost our apartment, we also lost our barbeque, so we haven't been able to eat one of my favorite meals.
But last night (he worked 12 hours again sad ) Joe stopped on the way home a found a Wienerschnitzel (there aren't any near us) and bought some italian sausages with peppers and onions. It wasn't as good as what we make, but the thought was really sweet. heart
