Rafflesia was glad her ride enjoyed the weird sort of compliments she gave. Unfortunately in spite of her newly dubbed title, she didn't know much about the nightmare legendary they were supposed to be fighting, Luna seemed content to just listen, and Argo only seemed interested in bragging about his name. "It sounds like the noise someone makes when you appear, so yeah I guess it's fitting. I dunno if I'd call it great though." She sassed back at the bird.
Raff glanced back at Noah when he butchered her name, but snorted in amusement. Raffy was just fine, though she'd enjoy hearing him try to say the full thing once in a while. It was kind of adorable in it's own quirky way, like the way he puffed out his chest with pride in his strength. "I bet. How many scraps have you been in then, bluey?" She asked curiously, noting his disappointment that no one knew the pokemon they'd be facing in the fights ahead. That was why she had no expectations of anyone, since then you couldn't be let down like that. "Eh. It's alright. Should make the fight more interesting that way, yeah? And even more impressive when you come out of it a winner." She suggested. Was that an attempt at cheering him up? Maybe.
When Argo returned, he had a little flute in his beak. She supposed he had scouted ahead, but that wasn't really what they had in mind with the request, as Noah was quick to point out. "Well? Spit it out." Raf sneered and used her vine to try and swipe the flute from him, partially to aggravate the bird, partially out of curiosity to see what he'd found, and partially to encourage him to talk about what he'd seen up ahead, which he couldn't very well do with his beak preoccupied. "It could be a clue about this place." Raf added, so it didn't look like she was just being an a** again and get Luna's fur all ruffled.

Even if her sight was impaired the path ahead seemed genuinely straight forward. So as the rag-tag group of mons on her back continued their conversations, Allure continued walking onward. She kept her strides short and slow solely because of how many small Pokemon were on the path around her. She certainly wouldn't mind the fear or anger created by stepping on something by accident, but something told the Spiriake now was not to the time to create chaos. Catching the shifting scent of the bird-brain over head fly forward and vanish, only to return a moment later made Allure's gaze travel upward. Raff was quick to ask what the bird had returned with. Looking upward, Allure couldn't really see much of anything even above her her sight seemed impaired. Whatever, not like it really mattered. Lowering her head once more she continued to walk in her own silence.

Once again, she was describing her Trainer, thinking about how dashing he looked in their first contest, and then how badly he beat up those Skull guys right afterward. How was Daphnes to explain this in terms the bear could understand? That was certainly the question of the century for the Bagon wasn't it? The bear insisted it wasn't a fighter, that it didn't want to fight. Which was all well and good, for some. But right now... that type of philosophy wasn't going to jive. "Yea. Hurting innocents isn't good." Daphnes replied. "But what we're going to face... I don't think its innocent." He continued, thinking upon some self-made visage of this 'Darkrai' Daphnes was being a tad naive in so easily believing the Munna, but he hasn't thus far been given evidence to prove the Munna was a liar. Holding up his stick like one would a sword, the Bagon began to wave it side to side. "It is up to us to defend the weak!" He voiced, letting himself project a bit more than needed. "Yes, that's it. We are knights, and it is the duty of a knight to protect those who need protecting. We vanquish evil so that the innocents may live another day in peace! If words will not quell this evil, than we have but no other option than to fight!" He proclaimed. Temperance had certainly rubbed off on him.

Letting herself be hoisted up onto the large winged dragon's back, Radium quick pulled herself up between the Noivern's ears, holstering her stick before her. "I'm ready." She announced. Well, as ready as she'll ever be. She'd actually never been flying before, so this was just another new experience to add to the ol' memory banks. Thanks to Eline for letting her join the team. Though her thoughts on this 'dream world' nonsense is one experience she could of gone without. Holding on to what she could, while still holding tight to her stick, the little Pichu felt a woosh forcing her eyes closed, but after a bit.. she could feel a cool breeze ruffling her fur ever so gently. Peeling her eyes open, the mouse moved forward just a bit more, and looked downward. She couldn't see much beyond the Noivern's head.. the fog below obscured her vision to greatly. Traveling over to the other side, the mouse held up a free paw over her eyes. "Hmm... I don't see much of anything." The mouse admitted. "That darn fog is making everything look the same. Do you hear anything strange?" Bringing herself back to her original position, the mouse continued to hug the stick Ai had given her.

Ulani managed to miss the disappointment, but didn’t miss the beam of a smile Prim gave her for the name as well as her joining in the jig. Great! Ulani was really growing to like the flower pokemon. She was just as peppy and friendly as her! Which was a nice change of pace because Sullivan didn’t exactly have a cast of younglings that she could hang out with. Hani was… well he was about her age but weird and that was the only other pokemon she’d even spent time with that wasn’t serious.
But he was weird.
Prim wasn’t though! She was friendly and joyful and just as excited as Ulani! And that made the Emolga all the more hyper. And then extra so as she found a berry. Ulani took a nibble of the berry, the same as Prim had her own and immediately made a face as though she’d bitten straight into a lemon.
"Uwah!" She gagged, sticking her tongue out and shaking her head vigorously from side to side. "Not sweet! Not sweet!" She chirped, ears drooping just a bit. How could the dream world betray her so? She gave Prim a disappointed look but bucked up. Well, she’d found something to eat and the best way to make something taste better was to find something to put on it! That’s what she’d do!
Back to the topic on hand. She noticed Prim shrug and thought a moment. "Hmmm," food literally made everything better though, "Well we should try! But not these berries, they’re not sweet! Okay pretty flower?" Because that was the worst thing you could possibly do, was give someone a terrible tasting food as a present. She continued along as Prim urged that they keep moving, ‘ooo’ing to herself as the path ahead became clearer.
"Ohh! Come on pretty flower! Come on!" She chirped excitedly, quickly picking up the pace. The faster they got out the forest the better their searching chances were!

So... Maybe Spinach wasn't the brightest. Lawlett was always complaining to the small pokemon to not steal so many berries. But sometimes, it wasn't the berries. It was the fight. The thrill of victory. And that Hitmonlee was pure victory. Well... was. Spinach wasn't quiet expecting the thing to sort of... hit him back. He just thought it would take the punch. But as soon as it turned and scared at Spinach with pure anger, the small pokemon know it was time to go. Lawlett scooped Spinach up before he could make it any farther and his trainer soon found himself between a mean kick, letting out of Spinach and letting the other go flying. Spinach barely caught the sight of a tree before he passed out.
"Ew... what is that? Its gross looking... and weak! Ha! Look at it try and kick!
"Dude I wonder how far we can throw it!"
"Aww look! It's crying! How stupid!"
"Hey! Leave it alone!"
Spinach's eyes blinked open once... then twice before it glanced around. Lawlett... Right. He jumped to his feet, ready to pounce for his trainer when he saw nothing. "What the F***?" He mumbled. "WHERE THE F*** AM I?" He was mad now, jumping and kicking his feet in the air ready for a fight. "Hope you remember me, if not then you would remember my trainer Marina, yes?" The oddish jumped and turned to the pokemon beside him. Oh yeah. One of these human's Pokemon. The... girl? Yeah! "Oh yeah! I remember! Where's the Hitmonlee? I'll take it down!" The other pokemon softly informed the oddish there would be no fighting. He huffed in disapproval and kicked a rock. "Look. I promise a solid nothing!" He turned his head in defiance but as the footsteps of the other got further, he looked up worried. "W-wait! Don't leave me behind!" He whimpered only slightly before running after the other.
As the got closer, Spinach noticed a mudkip. There was... two of them right? Which one was it? Yuki beat him to the punch and he nodded and stared past the Mudkip, attempting to look down the dark tunnel as both a shield and guide. "Maybe they know where we are!" Spinach said hopefully. Though he doubted it. Normally Jaws would be the one to step forward and watch Spinach but... Jaws wasn't here. And Lawlett wasn't here. Nobody was here. That thought scared Spinach. He had to get back to Lawlett and ASAP! Who knows what the trainer would do without him??

☆ ☆【Piper waited patiently after placing Radium onto her back, letting the Pichu move around as she wished and get comfortable. She cast a cursory glance up as she felt the movement of the little mouse before she settled down in between the Noivern’s ears. It was a bit strange how quickly they were all coming together like this, not that Piper was complaining of course. The bit of impromptu teamwork they were managing to pull off was rather nice, especially considering that they didn’t know that much about the situation at large and had only met each other not that long ago. With Radium announcing that she was ready and with a ‘good luck’ from Ai, the Noivern moved a bit of a ways away from the group so that the gusts generated by her wings wouldn’t accidentally flatten their teammates as she took off with her tiny passenger in tow. As they soared on ahead, Piper could see numerous other groups of Pokemon all heading in the same direction, like some kind of mass exodus towards where she assumed this Darkrai being dwelled. She could pick up bits and pieces of conversation among the other Pokemon around them, but no dice as far as trying to see anything ahead of them thanks to the thick fog obscuring much of the area beyond where the path they were taking laid. Piper hummed, frowning as Radium reported more or less the same from her own position atop her head. ”I s-see… Well I h-hadn’t really expected to f-find much of anything, e-especially not with this s-seemingly endless fog all o-over the place,” she said with a sigh, narrowing her eyes slightly, ”Hold on… l-let me just try th-this really quick…” Sweeping a wing out briefly, Piper generated a good-sized gust of wind in an attempt to try and cut through the mist in front of them, hopefully enough to at least see something. For a moment it looked like it had worked as the gust of wind pushed some of the fog up ahead back, but it simply seemed to bounce back again moments afterwards. Well, it was at least worth a try…
Piper’s ears flicked about as Radium asked if she could hear anything strange. ”I-I don’t h-hear anything particularly o-out of the ordinary aside f-from bits of t-talking from other groups b-below us,” she admitted, shaking her head a little while being careful to not send Radium flying off, ”Although…I-It is rather o-odd that I d-don’t hear anything in th-the forest a-around here at a-all, though… L-Like there’s no other s-signs of life around h-here besides us and the o-other Pokemon who were b-brought here.” At this point they might as well just turn around and head back towards the others, as much as Piper didn’t want to return only to report that they had found nothing at all. She made to perform a banking turn maneuver and head back the way they’d come, but paused when she heard an odd noise mixed in among the other sounds around them. ”Hm?” she murmured, immediately twisting her ears towards the sound in an attempt to pick it up easier. The noise was a bit hard to identify… it sounded like a combination of soft whispers and low, unintelligible murmuring coming from somewhere in the distance. Darkrai? Or perhaps some kind of unknown being that was lurking about? ”D-Do you hear that t-too, Ray? It s-sounds like… c-creepy whispering of s-some kind…” she asked, wondering if she was the only one hearing it, though that was probably a bit of a dumb question as Radium’s hearing probably wasn’t as keen as her own. ”S-Sounds like it’s c-coming from directly ahead of u-us somewhere…” she added, gesturing towards the distance where the steadily clearing path was leading, ”Wh-Whatever it is, I h-have a bad feeling… W-We should report b-back to the others.” As she spoke, she was already dipping a wing and shifting her position to bank and turn around to head back the way they'd come, taking care to not disturb Radium from her spot too much as she did so. While their findings would otherwise be lackluster to report, that strange noise was definitely something to worry about... Especially since it seemed like it was gradually growing closer and closer with every step they took...】☆ ☆

Cling smiled. Yes. Noodle. Okay. He was good with this. Cling slithered along, but paused for Dice to catch up, before moving to quickly wind his way up the tiny tot of a cubon, and rest on Dice's shoulder, just under the lower edge of his skull cap. "I assume they are up ahead," Cling mused, looking forward through the faint mist and winding trees. He was quiet a moment. "... Come on, follow me," he offered, giving a little smile (as much as a snake like creature could). With that, he leaped off of Dice's shoulder, spreading his wings and trying his best to angle them up a bit so he wouldn't fall too fast. As he did, the thin strip of faint gray down his back and around his tail lit up, glowing light blue as he tried to lead the way. Hopefully these nightmares weren't just creeping around in the shadows...

☆ ☆【Mogwai waited as Daphnes took some time to respond to his statements about not wanting to fight and that it was bad to hurt others, the Bewear growing more and more nervous as the seconds ticked by. Had what he said offended the Bagon? Would the dragon launch into an angry rant demanding that the bear absolutely had to fight or else? His eyes drifted nervously to the stick that Daphnes had picked up, instinctively bracing himself on the off chance that he would be suddenly thwacked with it as punishment. Much to his surprise and relief, neither of those things happened, his ears perking up slightly as Daphnes agreed with him that hurting innocents wasn’t good. But at the same time, he doubted that what they were going against was anything but innocent. Mogwai growled softly under his breath as he listened, nodding slowly as he began to understand what the Bagon was saying. This Darkrai, whoever he or she or it was, was likely one of the worst kinds of bag guys. The kind who took advantage of others weaker than them and ruled over them through fear and subjugation… In a way, from how he was thinking of it now, this Darkrai sounded no better than those bad men who had taken Mogwai away and tortured him until he had no choice but to obey them and do what they wanted.
As Daphnes held up his stick like a warrior raising his sword to rally his troops before rushing into battle, Mogwai listened to his speech with awe and wonder, feeling his heart swell with confidence and inspiration at the Bagon’s words. Yes, they were knights, and it was their job to fight to protect though who could not defend themselves. They had to defeat the evil so that the innocent people and Pokemon of the world could live a life of peace, and if the evil couldn’t be stopped with reason then they would need to fight it to quell it and prevent it from hurting anyone else. ”Mooogwaaaaiii waaaannaaa beeee kniiiight!” the Bewear declared with a spark of newfound resolve in his eyes, ”Moooogwaaaaiii proooteeeeect Aaaaaiiiideeeen, prooooteeeect fuuuuureeeeends!” Mogwai stood tall, placing his paws towards his waist in an attempt to strike a heroic pose to match up with the Bagon’s sword swinging display. Being a knight sounded so cool, and he wanted to be strong to be able to stand against whatever villains that came to try and inflict harm on others. Of course, he was still rather torn on the idea of having to fight against this bad guy they were looking for in this odd dreamscape… and yet, a part of him knew that it would be pointless to try and reason with a being that was clearly pure darkness and evil through and through. Evil like that couldn't simply be talked down with kind words, and the more the Bewear thought about it the more he began to slowly accept that perhaps fighting and defeating the evil was the only way to solve this... ☆ ☆【Fianna smiled warmly at Xiao Lan's explanation that her 'bat momma' liked her singing, but her new parents hadn't heard it yet. "Well, I think you should definitely sing for them sometime, dear," she encouraged with a nod and a gentle pat to the Noibat's head, "I'm sure they'll like it too~"
Her expression gradually softened as Daiki began to sulk in response to all the sassy remarks being directed at him, deciding it was probably best to lay off of him for now. As much as she rather liked poking fun at him, there was a fine line where it stopped being in good humor and just became straight up bullying. And Fianna had absolutely no intention of being a bully, if she let herself go that far then she wouldn’t be any better than Victoria. That, and she wouldn’t be setting a very good example for dear little Xiao Lan, such behavior was hardly befitting of an older sister after all. Beltigre cut in, telling the Zoroark that if he really wanted to get the girls he had to really go for it, advice she had apparently gotten from her trainer as she had indicated. The Braixen couldn’t help but wonder what the Torracat’s trainer was like… perhaps she could ask her at a later time, especially if this group of theirs was going to be sticking together for a while longer. Beltigre went on to insist that singing wouldn’t do it, that women liked a man who was tough and capable of beating up anyone who tried to step up to them. Well, a man being tough as well as talented and handsome was certainly a nice bonus, Fianna had to admit. Beltigre continued on, until she was suddenly interrupted by a bop on the snoot by Xiao Lan who interjected with telling her no fighting with ‘Mama Fi Fi’ and declaring them as ‘Team Fluffy’, much to the cat’s confusion as she insisted that it was actually ‘Team Beltigre’. ”Hmmm, I don’t know, Bel. I kinda like the sound of Team Fluff, in all honesty~” the Braixen chimed in with a chuckle, unable to help but blush brightly at suddenly being called ‘Mama’ by the little Noibat. Oh goodness… this was almost too much for her, not that she minded in the least. Xiao Lan was more than welcome to call her ‘mama’ if it suited her as far as Fianna was concerned.
Her attention drifted towards Daiki again as he grumbled about it being awkward to sing now, and that it would probably be pointless since he doubted it would change her opinion of him. ”Oh come now, I was only messing around with you. Well, for the most part at least,” she said with a shake of her head, offering a soft smile that contrasted with the teasing smirks she’d been flashing at him earlier, ”If it’s of any comfort, you don’t seem like a half bad guy so far. Of course, that is still very much subject to change depending on what all happens between now and whenever we leave this place, but it’s the honest truth. Flirting aside, I think you and I will be more than alright as long as there’s no more of, well… that. And as long as you treat Xiao Lan nicely, of course~” Speaking of, the little bat came flitting over towards them, urging Daiki to sing and make the Braixen happy too as she landed atop his head and dove into his thick mane. Fianna blinked as the Noibat seemed to suddenly vanish, until her head popped back up moments later as she played around with his hair a little. She asked if he knew the ‘star song’, and sang the first verse of ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star’ before encouraging him to continue it. ”Well, you heard the boss,” the Braixen suggested with a warm smile and a light laugh as she looked up towards Daiki expectantly, ”If you sing the next verse, I’ll join in too~”
Her attention momentarily flitted over as Beltigre suddenly tripped over something in the path, muscles tensing up in preparation to move over and help their apparent team leader. However, it appeared the Torracat handled the sudden fall by rolling and landing back on her feet as she declared that she was good. ”Goodness, that almost gave me a heart attack… At least you weren’t hurt,” Fianna sighed, both relieved that a potential crisis had been averted and curious as to what it was Beltigre had found. A Wiki berry, huh? The Braixen nodded in agreement with the cat’s statement about it being odd to just find it lying around, suggesting that maybe they might find more things out here. ”Well, if I recall correctly the Munna had said we could keep anything we found along the way… Still, it’s quite odd to find such a thing just laying about, there aren’t even any berry trees around here from what I can see,” she remarked with a thoughtful hum, rubbing a finger against her chin using her free hand, ”Best to hold onto it, as a healing item it could be useful later on. And definitely keep an eye out for anything else we stumble upon that could come in handy.” This place certainly was strange… considering the fact that they had found a berry of all things in a place where no trees of the sort were even present… It seemed like an omen, a warning telling them to be prepared for a fight at some point later down the line. Darkrai certainly had to be defeated in order for them to escape, that much was definite, but somehow Fianna felt that reaching wherever this being was holed up in wouldn’t be that simple…
Her attention moved back over towards Shade as the silver-furred cat creature seemed to consider her question, before simply saying that it was a mystery. From the way it flicked its tail and the slight tilt of its head... it almost looked a bit more, playful than usual... What a strange little thing... Although, Fianna couldn't help but feel compelled to humor it for now. "A mystery, hm?" she mused with a chuckle, "How interesting... I don't suppose you could at least give a name for what you are? The rest I can try figuring out on my own." From the looks of it, either being cryptic was part of Shade's modus operandi overall or it wasn't much of a talker in general. Still, even a small hint would certainly be helpful in figuring out more about it. Mayhaps she ought to relay this information to Phoenix when she got back to her so they could look more into it, if she got back to her, that is...】☆ ☆

★┊x» Falling asleep on her very first journey with her new trainer was not how Peaches had planned on things going down. She was supposed to protect Scott! Not worry him with her drowsiness. Regardless, he was so sweet to her, reassuring her that it was okay before she was put back into her pokeball to rest up. She was so lucky to have such a kind and thoughtful trainer. When she woke up from her little nap, she was definitely going to have to show her appreciation for everything that he had done for her up until that point. Speaking of which… a gentle nudging against her shoulder slowly woke Peaches up from her slumber. ”H-huh?” Her eyes crept open before blinking up at the two Pokemon hovering over her. Well, that was rather unexpected. ”What’s going on?” Peaches mumbled before rising up to her feet and stretching out. It wasn’t until Peaches was fully standing up and awake that she noticed that she was no longer standing in Oldale Town with Scott and all of his new friends. In fact, where was Scott? A quick look around informed her that the boy was nowhere to be seen. If fact, she didn’t recognise her surroundings at all!
”Hey, hey, where are we?” Peaches inquired, turning her attention back to the other two pokemon that had been there when she woke up. Both of them were quite familiar and it took her before she figured out who they were. ”Yuki, is Marina not with you? Spinach, I am guessing it is the same for you too?” Well, it didn’t seem like Lawlett, Marina, or Scott would just abandon them, so that had to mean something bigger was going on! Maybe… maybe this was a dream! A really, really big dream. Okay then! They would just have to wake up then! Maybe there was a way to wake up…
Following Spinach’s gaze down toward the tunnel, Peaches nodded to herself, deciding that moving forward was probably their best option right now. ”Don’t worry, it’ll be okay!” she proclaimed with a grin. ”I’m absolutely sure that if we continue forward we’ll making it out of here! We just have to work together, okay? Together we can do anything! Let’s start by going this way, okay?” She pointed toward the tunnel with her front paw before taking a few steps forward. They were going to make it out of here and get back to their trainers in no time!

Dotty chuckled a little as Vivace seemed to enjoy floating for a bit. She understood the togepi's choice though, floating everywhere was probably an odd feeling for a pokemon used to walking. It would be like Dotty trying to sit on something for a long time. Not unpleasant, but foreign.
A few exclamation points popped up above Dotty's head out of habit when she was surprised by Ai recognizing that she'd been speaking binary. "You know binary?!?" She seemed happy to find a fellow enthusiast. "Well sort of. My previous trainer was a computer scientist. I favored chemistry myself, but he taught me binary so that we would be able to communicate quicker in spite of my disability." She explained.
It seemed neither of the two pokemon had much to say about their trainers. Ai was selective in her description where as Vivace hadn't known her trainer long enough to form much of an opinion, and instead opted for physical description. "O-oh...? My trainer has red hair as well. I guess if anything we match aesthetically." Dotty attempted a smile, but she faltered. "I u-uh.... I-I don't think my trainer is a g-good person.... I mean... S-she's nice to me!!! She even gave me these glasses w-when she noticed I c-couldn't see very well, but.... She said she's a p-pirate? A-and she sometimes does b-bad things to people, l-like steal from them.... I don't really approve, but she doesn't really uh... C-care..." Dotty looked uncomfortable. "B-but she also likes exploring places, like old ruins, and s-she really likes them, and she's so b-brave and.... I feel like maybe deep down, she could be a g-good person if she tried... I think m-maybe something happened to her... Y-y'know... To make her d-do bad things?" Dotty thought back some, recalling a memory. "W-when I told her that I thought she was being unethical... She s-said that... I-if you wanted anything in this world, you have to take it by force, or otherwise you end up being the one who everyone takes advantage of.... I-I mean... I'm paraphrasing a bit, but in e-essence that seems to be her philosophy on things... I-it's rather sad, actually...."
Dotty was quiet for a moment, but then she noticed Piper and Radium returning back to the group. "O-oh....! W-welcome back.... D-did you find anything?" She asked anxiously.

Shade listened back to the conversation that was going on while walking forward, and paused when Fianna responded to their ambiguous answer. There was the usual pause, though this time, the pokemon's head tilted from one side to the other, making little tilting movements as if they were trying to recall. Finally, Shade lifted their gaze, and answered, "Chengshen." It was an easy enough answer, yet everything, it was as though Shade had to strongly consider whether to respond or not before giving it. Communication simply... hadn't been too common or necessary for them as of late, and this group was surprisingly chatty. It wasn't a bad thing, though; perhaps it was better to try and practice conversation.
Looking back at Beltigre, Shade seemed to consider, noticing the berry on her back, but instead making eye contact and tilting their head. ".... Your concepts on mating rituals are very interesting, Beltigre," they mused, the smallest hint of amusement in their voice as their attention lingered. After a moment, they turned, continuing to walk, ears up for any sound of trouble. They had been walking a while now....

Huh. Well that sure was interesting. Gail's head tilted to the side when Ammy mentioned that just about all her family were growlithes or arcanine. She hadn't payed much mind when the pup mentioned her father, 'cause.... eehh, yeah, pokemon breedin' was weird, but all of them? How did that happen? "Were ya adopted?" she blurted out without even thinking, trotting over curiously. It didn't occur to her that that might not be a good -- or polite -- question; her interest overrode any real perspective she could have tried to grasp on this. Her ear turned as she heard sounds in the distance, and she pivoted, bounding ahead a moment.
Craning her head, she tried to peer through the fog, but an ear kept turned back to the group to show she was still closely listening, and involved in the situation.
