Nolan Round 2 (2/5)
For this toss, he had focused on one of the snowmen to toss the wreath onto, but somehow it bounced from that snowman and onto another one. He didn't really care much about where it landed, even though he had spent money to play the game. Looking over the "prizes" he decided to pick out the horrible jingle bell "bracelet". Mostly this would be used to torture anyone either unlucky enough to wear it, or he would use it to annoy the heck out of his class mates somehow. Either way, it would not be used for its intended purpose. Because that would have been incredibly dumb.

Nolan Round 3 (2/5)
This time the wreath didn't make it around one of the snowmen. Disappointing, but only slightly. After all, he was only doing this for a bit of entertainment. Getting any of the prizes was a... "plus", but it was the only other game in the park besides the tea thing, and he might as well try it! Besides, he had two more rounds left. Even if managed to miss both of them, well at least he had some "prizes".

Nolan Round 4 (3/5)
Another win it would seem. Well, a "win". If there was something more at stake that he cared about then he might have been trying harder to win. But since he could only see the cheap prizes that were out and about, well, the only thing he could get was the "top hat" which was pretty pathetic. One had to actually make it! What was the point of giving out a prize, if one still had to make it?! He could go to the store and buy all of the materials and it would still probably cost less than what he had paid to play the stupid toss game!

Nolan Round 5 (3/5)
And that was it for Nolan. He wondered for a bit if he should put his prizes back and instead take the pillow but... adorable decapitated heads of animals were not something that he wanted to decorate his room with. The room that he would finally be leaving after next semester and hopefully getting into college. As much as he liked Romano's, he wouldn't miss the military training from it.
He shrugged his shoulders, grabbed his "prizes", and walked away, wondering if he shouldn't just give them to the first kid that said they wanted them to him.

Turn #1; 1 ring, 1 total rings
Loren was decent enough at this kind of game that he felt relatively comfortable coming up to try it. He passed her a dollar, liking the little snowmen well enough to try for them. Oh, tinsel wreaths were new. They would probably be even less aerodynamic than rings were normally, and he should probably adjust for that accordingly. The last thing he wanted was for a ring to go cartwheeling off to the side and hit someone because a draft caught the bow, or something.
That would be terribly awkward.
He squinted, a bit, aimed, and gave the first one a toss.
Hey! It went on! Cool!
The second toss bounced off of the bottle, and Loren adjusted his aim. The third throw went even worse, so he adjusted again, got another close shot, then adjusted yet again... and did even worse.
Alright.
Fine.
One ring it was.
...He was definitely trying again. One ring was shameful.

Turn #2; 1 ring, 2 total rings
He paid another dollar, squinted at the array in front of him, and tossed a wreath Frisbee-style. It got close... ish. It still ultimately bounced off of the bottle, and Loren sighed. He was going to be lucky to get even one more ring with throws like that.
Well, the next one did get a wreath around the neck of the bottle, so there was that.
...It was the last one, though. A couple more tosses got almost painfully close. One even spun around the rim of the bottle before falling off to the side. He said something under his breath that was not entirely nice and which would have certainly made his grandmothers scold him. He actually felt a little guilty for it after the fact, shooting the girl working the booth a look that he hoped was apologetic.
That being said, two rings was simply not good enough. He was going to give this another shot, already fishing out another dollar to give her.

Turn #3; 0 rings, 2 total rings
He was ready for his third turn, or so Loren told himself. He was ready. He was prepped and pumped and primed.
...Was that a thing?
At any rate, he evaluated the bottles and flung over his first ring.
Miss. By a pretty solid margin, too. It twang-rustled off the side of the bottle, coming to lay ineffectually against the base of the bottle it was meant to go around.
Dammit.
The second wreath was just as bad. So was the third, the fourth, and the fifth one also failed to net him another ring towards his total. He sure as hell wasn't going to end on a low note like that and grabbed out another dollar to try again.

Turn #4; 3 rings, 5 total rings
Attempt number four to get the wreaths on the bottles. Loren squinted at them again, taking a second to test his wrist motion with one of the wreaths before actually throwing it. Another quick check of the bottles from multiple angles, and Loren realised he should probably actually throw one before the people waiting behind him got any more impatient.
The fact that the first one went on perfectly was a good omen to Loren, and he was more than eager to toss the second one. That one also went on perfectly, and he was already riding high on a wave of triumph when he threw the third wreath and that one also slipped smoothly onto the bottle.
Three!
Holy crap!
Perhaps he was a little preemptive in his excitement, however, because neither of the following two wreath rings went around a bottle. Both of them bounced uselessly off the side of the bottle he'd aimed for. Still, though, he'd gotten three. That was pretty cool, actually.
Maybe next time he'd get all five? Loren was already scooting back into the line with his winnings to try that one last time.

Turn #5; 1 ring, 6 total rings
Alright, this was his last chance, so he really had to make it count. He'd gotten three wreaths on a bottle last time, so Loren fully believed it was possible for him to get all five, this time. He just had to be careful and not get ahead of himself. If he got overexcited, he'd miss all of the bottles for sure.
One dollar handed over, and Loren was back in position to squint at the bottles. Maybe he should try not to overthink it? Maybe he was overthinking it. But where was the line between careful aim and overthinking the throw? He tried the first one.
Missed.
Dammit not again. Well, four out of five would still be pretty cool.
...Three out of five would still be pretty cool, Loren decided, as he watched the second wreath land off to the side after sliding down the side--but not the neck--of a bottle.
Hey, he got it! The third throw could not have gone better, and Loren figured the best way to celebrate would be to go for a fourth throw. ...That one did not work well, taunting him before ultimately flinging itself off of the bottle. Alright, he still had one more, one last, wreath, and he had to make it count.
...It was not going to count.
Well, okay, one was better than none, and that brought his total up to six, anyway. Now... what prize did he want? They were allowed to pool their winnings and trade up, so, if he had the six...
"Can I have the snowman plush and a top hat, please?" That should be six, which he exchanged for his prizes before scooting out of the way and onto the next attraction.

Delilah's Turn 1 / 5, 1 Ring, 1 Total
Delilah didn't quite understand the point of throwing the rings on the bottles. Or the snowmen. Or whatever they were. She squinted at bit at them when she was beckoned over, admittedly confused by the concept.
Why did she want to throw the wreaths on the snowmen? What was the purpose? Did it accomplish anything?
Wait--
It accomplished prizes?
Okay, Delilah was game now. Happily, she took the five wreaths in hand and waited for her turn to get a proper place at the table. So she needed to get these wreaths around their ... heads? Their hats? Okay. She could do that. Maybe. Delilah didn't know how good her aim was. She wasn't really very sporty except when she wanted to try out new things, like new sports that she hadn't seen before. She had taken a whack at lacrosse recently. That didn't go too badly, though she wasn't sure she had the build for many sports...
Delilah leaned forward, tossing the wreath through the air.
And missed.
It wasn't until the third throw that she seemed to, perhaps by chance, figured out what she was doing. The wreath circled in the air and then landed daintily on one of the snowman's hats. There was a happy sigh from Delilah before she realized what exactly happened and cheered.
Perhaps she got overly excited because the rest of her tosses went badly.
No matter!
She would just take another whack at it! That was allowed, right? Eventually, she'd get more of those wreaths on more of those damn hats...

Delilah's Turn 2 / 5, 1 Ring, 2 Total
Good! She was able to take another whack at it. That was what she wanted. The best chances to get the best stuff. Because this game had prizes in it and she wanted all the prizes.
She was fairly sure she just saw a mousy-haired kid walk away with a giant snowman and she honestly just wanted that, now. It looked super cute and she needed things in her bed to cuddle with. Her bed had a sore lack of things she could happily cuddle with. She wasn't sure why that felt like a lack. She wasn't really sure about a lot of things, honestly--
"Ma'am--"
Right. She was supposed to be throwing tinsel rings, not staring at other people with their giant snowmen. She leaned forward, sending another ring flying and bouncing off uselessly to the right. Well, that didn't work. Alright. Delilah readjusted, stood her ground, and attempted another throw. Instead of going near any of the snowmen, it swung around in the air before falling uselessly to the ground.
Oh, okay.
Delilah readjusted once more, and once more, on her third throw, found no success. What was she doing wrong? There had to be something she was doing wrong or she would have actually managed to get a ring on a snowman hat by now--
What had she done the first time it had worked?
The fourth attempt was a failure too, but on the fifth, she managed to replicate the strategy and let out a pleased whoop. Now she needed to do that again, but after she waited in line...

Delilah's Turn 3 / 5, 2 Rings, 4 Total
She wished this line moved a little faster. She was getting a bit impatient, and by a bit impatient she meant a lot impatient. There was a part of her that was just tempted to take a prize from one of the nearby kids and run for it, but she would be noticed.
Delilah could only pull that kind of thing as Nembus because she wouldn't be found later. Stealing as a civilian was bad. It could get her arrested, or just get some parents really mad at her, and she didn't feel like dealing with the wrath of angry parents. Angry parents were annoying enough when she didn't have to deal with them herself. Just seeing them in toy stores tended to make her blood run cold--
The wreaths were picked up once more as Delilah stared forward, debating how she should approach this set. She had figured it out last time. If she just put her body in the same position and attempted to throw the wreath in the exact same way as she had the first time--
Ey! It worked!
Delilah was so pleased she attempted to copy the method a third time, only to find that she tripped over her own two feet and flailed forward, causing the wreath to fall to the ground uselessly.
Well, alright then.
Delilah cleared her throat and shifted the wreath to her other hand. Okay. Maybe she would try a different handed throw this time. Change it up! Maybe she wouldn't trip and fall forward this time. Delilah chucked the wreath, and it honestly wasn't that great of a throw, but it managed to land on the hat of a snowman she wasn't even aiming at.
By the time she was done, Delilah had managed to gain another two tickets. She grinned.
One step closer to that snowman.

Delilah's Turn 4 / 5, 1 Ring, 5 Total
All she needed was just one more ticket.
She could do it.
Delilah leaned in, staring down the snowmen with the intensity of the sun on a warm summer's day. She was surprised she could actually remember summer in the middle of winter, but then, summer was the first season she could actually recall. No matter! She leaned in further, squinted hard, and chucked the wreath as hard as she could.
All she managed to do was beam one of the snowmen in the face.
Okay, not that...
An adjustment later and another attempt later, Delilah gave it one more shot, determined to get the last ticket she needed for the snowman. When she saw the wreath happily land where it was supposed to, Delilah forgot what else she was supposed to do and immediately turned towards the person running the booth.
"Can I get the giant snowman?!"

Once more, with feeling?
When Delilah discovered there were still more prizes and she was eligible to play at least once more, Delilah hopped back into the line, determined to get at least one more thing out of this game. She knew what she was doing now.
Then again...
She flung the five rings forward all at once, because why not.
"Be free, my children!"
Somehow, one of them landed, and she happily claimed the little reindeer headband and put it on before marching off with her giant snowman plush.

[ OOC: We hope you enjoyed tossing the tinsel around! At this time, no further rolls will be counted towards prizes, but you may continue to edit your posts and fill in blank spaces. The following players had the highest scores: You may each take your pick of one of the following holiday IC RP items: Quote: Snowball Pendant - A round, white gemstone that resembles a perfect snowball and glistens in the slightest lightThe snowball pendant hangs from a glistening silver chain. You can easily detach it and hurl it at something or someone to encase them in a thick layer of ice for up to three minutes. The ice is chilly to the touch but isn't cold enough to do any damage, and if used on a human or living target will only encase them from the neck down. This can only be used while in civilian form and cannot be used while the wearer is powered up but it can be used against any opponent your civilian is facing. Once the five minutes is up, the ice melts and disappears in a magical breeze, only for the pendant to return to the chain. It is still beautiful, however no longer has any magical properties and will function as a normal crystal pendant if thrown again. It might not have any magic, but it's a nice memento! Snowglobe - A magical snowglobe of a strange, unfamiliar town.Shaking the snowglobe transports you and up to one other person of your choosing into a magical realm that looks strangely like the unfamiliar town. You can leave if you like, but this is a one time visit that should last no longer than 12 hours. All of the homes in the town are open/free to explore, but you cannot take anything that you find in this realm home with you and there doesn't seem to be anyone here when you arrive. There's something immensely therapeutic about the snowy realm; you find peace and quiet wherever you go and when you come out no time has passed in the real world. This could be such a great way to accomplish tasks if you could take them with you, but try as you may you cannot return to the snow world after the first trip. You can keep the snowglobe as a reminder, however! Snuggly Scarf - A magical scarf that makes you feel warm and whole.Wearing this scarf brings insurmountable level of comfort and reassurance and gives you the boost you need 'to get through anything'. It feels like you have all the luck and support on your side, and if you happen to snuggle it up close to your ears you hear the comforting words of someone you care for, living or dead, whispering soft reassurances. This magic lasts for only a day and only affects one person. After twenty-four hours has passed all that remains is a normal, every day, snuggly scarf. Memory Chest An empty, decorative chest. This chest, upon first glance, is empty. It would be a great place to store linens or keepsakes, and maybe that's what someone used it for at one point. The next time you open the chest after taking it home you find an item that was once lost. It could be something of yours, or something once belonging to someone else-- nothing stolen, of course, but something that you thought was lost forever. This something should not be alive, but it can be something that you thought (or were certain) was destroyed, only to now be returned to you in good condition. Afterwards the chest is merely an empty, decorative chest once more-- and hey, you've got your item too! For more information on IC RP items please see here. ]
