What does your character leave as an offering for the wishing star? A necklace strung with meteorites, glowing softly, and a few feathers from each parent.

“I know.”
“Perhaps it is because we have not consulted the stars for their blessing?”
Dyrim was quiet for a minute before looking at Aster with a raised brow. “It is doubtful, but my faith in the heavens is not as stalwart as yours, Lady Aster.”
“Aster is more than enough, Dyrim.”
He snorted briefly and looked up at the sky. The darkness speckled with bright lights that reflected on both him and his partner. She believed she was wholly from the stars – Dyrim himself couldn’t be convinced. Sure, he felt a connection to the heavens – a kinship – but he was less inclined to believe in absolutes like Aster did.
“It’s been done,” she said suddenly. Dyrim snapped out of his reverie. He hadn’t been paying attention.
“I didn’t hear—”
“You don’t have to be loud,” she murmured, nuzzling his neck with a restrained affection. “Let’s go.”
Dyrim closed his eyes for a moment and let himself lean into the nuzzle. She was a dear friend - and he could only hope that the heavens would bless them, and that her seer ability would be passed on. That...thing had been far too good at obscuring his location, but letting him be plagued with visions of his deeds. Josief needed to be stopped.

He prayed this worked.

Mycena paced in the safe zone of The Flock impatiently. He was too much of a roamer to stay still and he hadn't had much time to talk to his employer who had also gotten captured by the Flock, Xaa'nar. He had learned so much about the flock, and their culture, and was getting worried: If they didn't get a chance to talk and be on the same page, Mycena's father may realize they've been captured and arrange an attack to rescue them, and may end up accidently forcing stallions who lived there happily and willingly to leave against their will and start a war between the herds.
But he was also a little antsy due to other reasons. He'd been finding he was enjoying himself a bit too much with the mares of the flock.. And he knew that, if they didn't get out before discovering he had sired a child with one (or more - he had been enjoying their company a little too much, and the sacred mothers and daughters especially were very temptingly persuastive), he may lose the heart to leave. They had to get moving as soon as they could before he ended up losing the drive to continue his knighthood. Before he never saw his friends outside The Flock again.

Glancing up through the tree leaves after hearing a mare jump between branches, he gasped slightly, noting the wishing star twinkling in the sky. Looking around, he found a patch of wood on the Heart Tree of the Flock, Where the Queen herself rested, that was lit by the brilliant star. Quickly tearing off one of his glowing mushrooms with a sting of it tearing away from his pelt, he carefully pressed it into the wood, tucking the foot into the rough bark of the roots. Stepping away, he prayed silently that should he have a child in the flock, that he be gone before he finds out, and that he and Xaa'nar get out and prevent war from happening between the herds. With a nod, he then returned to his pacing, now glancing up to the star in hope that it'd hear his wishes. And part of him hoped, even though he didn't want to know, that he would leave a mark on the Flock. That he Did have a child soon on the way who would grow up in this facinating, if insular herd.

Short IC Response: Malis frowned as she reached the spot where the small shrine to the stars lay surrounded by moonlight. Her thoughts went out to Kifo's spirit, wondering if he was out there among the stars. This alliance with Ix'kin was born out of necessity and the need for the clan to grow. He was an intriguing fellow but not someone she would usually fall for. She looked up at the Wishins Star and nodded, No, it was for the good of the Herd and important that this union was blessed. The Troll matriarch lay down the necklace she always wore around her neck. It was one of her most prized posessions, the walker claws clinking as they landed upon the stone alter. The spirits had given her a son, maybe they would be willing to bless this alliance too. Malis looked back up to the stars and nodded once more. Either way, she was now mated once more, and it was time to strengthen the herd as a whole, be it through her line or his.

What does your character leave as an offering for the wishing star? Some shiny pebbles from the lake shore.
Short IC Response: "Er... I'm not really good at this." Marion scraped at the ground with a hoof. He felt stupid, talking to a star, but whenever his parents did it...fortune followed. Rion huffed. "So there's this girl I really like and I'd kind of...like to start a family with her? I don't know if I'd be any good at being a dad, but I'd like to try... And Inoke would be an amazing mom... I know there are sometimes baskets left without parents, and we could at least...try...to give them a home? Maybe..."

He huffed again, embarrassed.

"I don't know. It was just on my mind! Just... Yeah. Think about it."

Tell the wishing star a little about yourself: I travel a lot seeking new things and places, and creatures big and small. I meet a lot of souls on the road but I always have to say goodbye at some point. I would really like a companion I can share my adventures with.

I leave to you in offering, oh noble star, A plate of armor made of the strongest steal, a single blue rose frozen in an ice sphere, and a number of bells in varying sizes and colors. I leave this in hopes that I may recognize and hear my new friend and companion as they set out to find me.
