The secretary opened the doors so that Koutetsu could see Chie. She sat at the desk as she was unaware of the conversation or engagements the two of them engaged with back at the college. "What can I do for you today, Koutetsu?" She asked from her seat. On her desk was a plethora of important papers. As Uzukage she was trying to read up on all of the information that a village leader should be aware of.

Saiko came back to the Uzukage's office to try and speak with her again. The man had just left the hospital and was a bit tired but, he wasted to speak with her to see what he needed to be doing. Or if the Uzukage had any specific instructions for him. The man approached the Secretary and checked in with her before taking the same seat he had been sitting in the time before. There was someone else in the office and he had no problem waiting until she was open for him.
Chie studied the boy for a while from her seat. She wanted to make sure that the boy was ready. He seemed to have a plan, which did make her feel like it was viable for his rank of skill. "Permission granted." She said. "You may leave." She stated. She then saw the man from earlier who wanted to speak to San back when she was dealing with the former suna ninja. "You may come in. Sorry to disappoint, but leadership has changed since I dismissed you." She said with a wink in relations to becoming the new kage. She had hoped that she could help the boy with what he needed.

"Hey yo Little Mama Whirlpool!" He yelled from down the hall as he walked towards her office. Karuto rounded the corner to where the Uzukage's office was- snacking on an extra large pretzel he had picked up on the way over. F*ckers were out of mustard though which already cast a rain cloud over his day from the get-go. His disposition immediately picked up when he saw Saiko though! The Raiken grinned ear to ear and dashed over to his fellow former Sand Ninja "Oh boy if it ain't Mr. Don't-Punch-Me-I'm-Made-Of-Glass-And-Butterflies! How's it going man? Have you like, what, discovered another element to use or some sh*t since I last saw you?" Saiko had been apart of the delegation from the Sand to the Leaf alongside of himself. They had both been in the Leaf when the whole 'UHV War' thing kicked off. Their contributions to the Konoha Military early on in the campaign was one of the primary reasons Suna decided to settle here instead of Arashi. Looking over he noticed Chie exiting her office and quickly swallowed the mouthful of pretzel he was chewing.
If one were to compare Saiko and Karuto one could hardly find a stark contrast of men. Saiko was of average size aka much, much smaller than Karuto. Inversely, Saiko was obviously a man of manners and refinement- while a knowledge of culture only dwarfed by his depth of ninjutsu. Karuto happened to be proud to not employ a single one! Saiko was always clean and well groomed while Karuto often times looked like he had just spent 3 weeks in the mountains and wore a grizzled look at all times. Still, despite this, he considered Saiko a close friend and comrade. After all, he had been turned into that dude once upon a time!
The man stood as he was given permission to enter the room, watching the boy leave the room. Saiko then went into the office with a smile on his face, well if it wasn't the pretty girl with the pink hair. He had to say he was surprised to say that it was strange seeing her in the Uzukage's seat when he knew San to be the Uzukage. His confusion was quickly resolved as she explained the change in leadership. "Oh well, that's quite alright. Seems Konoha had quite the pretty strong group of shinobi if you're Uzukage." Saiko emphasized the word pretty a bit strongly to hint at his attraction for her. The man winked but, quickly realized that because of his eye patch it only appeared as if he were blinking. However, he would bow to the woman who was now Uzukage. "Nice to meet you, Uzukage. I am Saiko of Sunagakure and now a resident of Uzushiogakure." Soon after he spoke, he heard the voice of the one and only Karuto.
Saiko's head turned slightly to allow his eye to fall upon Karuto as he approached. "It's going alright Karuto. Can't say I've discovered a new element. Not yet anyway. Though I can tell you that I'm not made of glass anymore. I'm sure you've trained plenty of the tai that you favor." Saiko would say to him. The man was honestly not sure if Karuto knew how in depth his knowledge of elements was. After all he had the capability to produce nine different elements when the average shinobi could barely manage two. Saiko looked over Karuto, seems like he hadn't changed a bit since the last time he saw him. Not that it was that long ago after all.
Chie paused before she addressed Saiko since another person chose to appear. The young lady did not mind being called that silly nickname since the one who spoke it she had the privilege of fighting. And while she knew that she could outsmart him should another fight ensue, the fact that he was still standing and in a jovial nature to see her proved to her that his strength was no facade and his utility as a Uzushioogakure ninja was versatile. Chie naturally found herself more lenient to those she was certain that she had a use for. "It's a pleasure to meet you Saiko, and it's nice to see you again, Karuto." She said with polite nods to them both. Her ears did perk, however, when Saiko mentioned that he had not discovered any new elements. Was he, perhaps, a ninjutsu user? As the world's greatest ninjutsu master, Chie was naturally intrigued by anyone who also practiced the ninjutsu arts. Alluring eyes fell upon the man as she scanned him up and down. She then broke her contact, however, so that she could direct her attention to both individuals. "I have records of both of your feats from Sunagakure. Needless to say, you both have proven yourselves throughout the years to be proficient ninja. However, I cannot find any records of either of your current placements within the village." Chie said analytically. She wanted to catch them slightly off guard after such a display of flattery to make them aware that, while she appreciated having such strong ninja, she was not going to allow them to exist solely for their own intentions. "I recognize that Karuto has been entertaining crowds at the arena, and Saiko seems to have quite the record at the village hospital. But to both of you I ask what are your true aspirations in regards to continuing on in the ninja world?" Chie wanted to ask the hard and serious questions. She had a village to run and could use every ninja she had. However, she also needed to make sure that all of her villagers were motivated to do their very best.

Was Chie checking out Saiko? Yeah, she totally was! The idea of those two ninja nerds getting together was enough that Karuto could barely keep a sheepish grin in check. Anyways, Karuto gave Saiko a playful shove with his elbow once the man spoke "Oh yeah? Well after this let's go see what you're made of then!" He said, following the challenge with a deep chuckle. It was when Chie spoke, however, that all smiles vanished. She had this insatiable talent to just suck the fun right out of the room. Honestly, she was so good at it he wondered if she used a jutsu to do it! Karuto rubbed his beard in response to her question before finally replying- making sure to give the question some serious thought "I think I'm good. Saiko watched as the woman looked over him. It was slightly obvious to him but, as he was watching he felt the shove by Karuto, efficiently interrupting him. This was the second time that he had been complimented by someone of a higher station within the last week. First Kya, now the Uzukage. It was a good week so far. As Chie became serious, Saiko did as well. "Unlike Karuto I wish to further my progression in the shinobi world. I was a Jounin in Suna before the attack and I do not wish to stay a jounin the rest of my life. One day I wish to go back to Suna and take back the sands for the people who once lived there. But, in the same way as Karuto. If a war breaks out or this village needs my help, I will be here to help. Whether it be with my medical knowledge or my mastering of ninjutsu." Saiko put it rather plainly and simple. The man figured that there was no reason for hiding any detail or exaggerating them either. Uzushiogakure was now his home and he would defend it with his life if it were necessary.

Chie listened intently to Karuto and Saiko. A nerve was struck when the boy in front of her dared to call himself a master of ninjutsu. Everyone knew that Chie was the true ninjutsu master. But, that was something that she could forgive; once. However, she was interested in this desire Saiko had in restoring Sunagakure. She did not know if it was even possible to rebuild a nation, but it did give her an idea. "You know, it may not be a bad idea as a village to help set up a rival nation. Especially if we can start off with an alliance." She said. She picked up one of her folders and read it carefully. "Of course, in order to start a nation as prominent with the Sand Village, we would need the blessings of the wind daiymo. And according to my latest report, his son went missing." She said as she then placed the folder down. "Before we do any side quest for him, however, we would need ninja strong enough to set up a village. Do either of you have suggestions?" She asked, since she had two suna ninjas in front of her.

Karuto raised an eyebrow at Chie's question. She wanted to ...raise the Sand? That was odd to him. In response, Karuto just shrugged "I really don't think we have the numbers for that. Sure, we have strong shinobi, but many of them now call the Whirlpool their home. There are few Sunagakure Patriots left."
Saiko was surprised to hear that Chie had an interest in rebuilding Suna. It was something he never really considered really, gaining the aid of the Uzu people. And how convenient was it that the Wind Daiymo's son was missing. The point she raised was valid, just as valid as the point that Karuto brought up. Suna's strength had been divided or demolished with the village. "I'd hate to say that Karuto is right. Who knows how many of the Suna nin would be willing to take back out land? I'd have to find them and speak with them. Of course here you have Sonyo, Masato, Zhi, Karuto, Lahlil, Tetsuhiko, Sadayo and myself. However, not all of us came here. Some went rogue and others went to Arashi. Finding the rest of us would be a mission all on it's own but, I'd say all of them are strong enough to help rebuild a village. There was a reason Suna stood for so long." Saiko would say. The man forgot how many of the suna nin actually came to this village until he had actually went about listing them.
Chie leaned back in her chair. She observed the two men in front of her. "For being such a big man, Karuto, it's funny how the pretty boy is the one with the vision to think this through." She said as she placed her folder down. She then pointed to Saiko and nodded. "When you have a chance, you can go find the Daiymo's missing son. I'm sure once we do so that he'll be down to allowing us the desert territory, as well as the incoming children to train into proper shinobi. Feel free to take someone or a couple of someone's with you, Saiko." She said. Her two eyes locked onto the beautiful man's one. She then turned and faced Karuto. "As for you, I need my ninja to have a purpose. So why don't you find a few genin who need a mentor and get them involved in something?" She said nicely.
