What were the torti doing? Were they sunbathing? Nicolae watched the pair as they settled into their half hidden sunny sand bath. "I wonder how big you get... I hope you aren't going to be too big."

Now, that was the real hard part, wasn't it? Deciding on a name for the torti. Nashira wasn't particularly good at naming her familiars. Some of them she didn't even have names for. Did it hurt their feelings when they didn't get named, and others did? She hoped not. She decided she would need to name all of them when she got home. Boy, would that be taking forever...

After watching the torti in the sun for a while, Nicolae started walking around again. He wanted to make sure that no children were harassing the poor things. But as he started walking, his foot seemed to hit a tunnel in the sand, and he tripped, spectacularly landing face first in the sand.

Coco turned to the sound of the cherubs voice, she got up and dusted her overalls off. She didn't know much about cherubs so she wasn't sure if they were a junior, freshling or senior. She had heard about them coming to the Below though. "Hi" she said warmly "I'm Coco, what's your name?" She asked in a friendly tone. Looking around at the torti she nodded "The torti seem to have a wide size range, maybe some only grow so big while others grow huge?? Is there a way to tell if they are babies or adults?" Coco pondered.

It was still mind boggling and amazing to him that their great big world was still discovering and finding new things. Really it was almost relieving and inspiring, giving hope to the demon that even he too--who had grown up rather isolated from most of societies norms-- could evolve as well. After all, it was already happening to him in such a big, enriching way.

But the cue made by Thomas drew Iron's interest, the demon careful with how he worded what he said next, "I can imagine that being quite difficult. You enjoy the more bustling sorts of cities, I take?"

" I believe some can. After all most understand when their name is being called. They can understand when you are sad or need affection. Well most can obviously there are some familiars that are mostly just pretty. " Leto mused.

" ah most of the time and definitely the bottom feathers. Obviously some are lose and those don't hurt as much and they do fall out." He paused to pull out one that was loose. He stuck it in his bag, or well started to. However it was snatched away by the purple twin who hadn't really moved out of the bag yet. " they aren't that pretttty. Hmm I havent really thought about it. I mean I can feel the wind but it never tickles. Then again I'm part litch so I might not be the best representation."

Coco looked at the cherub who had fallen, she moved over to them, moving to go help them up, but they seemed like they were going to get up on their own and be all right. She couldn't tell at the moment how tall they were, but she had heard that the most recent races to join the below were very small. Coco was a little bit short for a demon she was only four feet tall. She didn't mind though since Calie was bigger than her and it made her feel cuddled in Calypsos arms. She hoped she would see Calie again soon she needed cuddles. Coco looked at the cherub and looked at the torti to see what they were doing.
