OOC Footnote Current HP: 14/30 Current Trust: 26 Section notes: 16/20 thorn hp. -4 thorns, -2 hp Getting to her friends, she got help getting the swan from her back and asked her to keep an eye on the bird, before she was setting out to find someone else, who could explain to her how to try and help the bird, chancing upon a knowledgeable kin. An older kin explained the basic of a sling, though doubted that would work on a wing, but said if the materials could be gathered, he could lend a hand with the help of his familiar to construct it. So she set out, only to find her way impeded by thorns, which she started to kick at, to get through.

OOC Footnote Current HP: 12/30 Current Trust: 26 Section notes: 14/20 thorn hp. -2 thorns, -2 hp Her second round of kicking didn't seem as effective as her first, and she was dismayed by how little progress she made getting through the mass of thorns.

OOC Footnote Current HP: 10/30 Current Trust: 26 Section notes: 11/20 thorn hp. -3 thorns, -2 hp She kicked harder than she had last time, and she found she got a little further into the briars even as they caught at her legs, which made her wince each time.

OOC Footnote Current HP: 2/30 Current Trust: 26 Section notes: 0/20 thorn hp. -2 thorns, -2 hp She'd been right, the next kick was her last, but not because she was too tired. she actually got through them. It made it easy to finish gathering what she needed and make her way back to her friends carrying her supplies to get the splint made up.

OOC Footnote Current HP: 0/30 Current Trust: 22 Section notes: 17/30 progress. +7 progress, -3 hp As she worked, she managed to injure herself by going to fast, and whacked her head on a nearby rock. As she fell to the ground with closed eyes she felt regret for not being able to help the swan better. It felt like forever when she woke up again, but she realized she had been dreaming, which left her feeling perplexed, and sort of introspective for a time after that.
