After he had taken a break from this booth for a night, Mahmud was excited to get back into the fray and smash some melons! For whatever reason, he never seemed to realize what this really was supposed to mimic: combat training. Instead Mahmud thought of it like a fun summer tradition, where one would get to eat tasty melon after.
This time was about average for him, with many swings and a few misses, but he still had tons of fun anyways! Plus, as stated before, he got quite a bit of tasty watermelon! Yum!

Again, Mahmud was hit by a water balloon. By this point he was so soaked even his hair was straight, dripping down long past his shoulders. Why did he keep falling for that stupid, stupid routine? Lorata Says! Thats all he had to do, wait for the person at the front of the line to shout their own name, and then give an instruction. If the name was not said, don't follow the instruction! It should be so simple!
But if there was one thing Mahmud was bad about, it was doing whatever people told him to do. If someone said to jump, even if there were special rules, he'd do so without asking how high.

Now this was more Mahmud's style! He wiggled in place at the starter's block, getting ready to go again. Sure he had already conquered it, but what was the fun in doing it once? Once was a fluke! Anyone could do something once! But twice? Twice was no flaw. He could prove to the people here that he wasn't just some joker with noodle legs, but a real and serious contender. For what exactly, he wasn't sure (for he did not read the pamphlets as he should) but a contender nonetheless!
Just as before, Mahmud sailed past the pads, and leaped across the chimes. Even when he got to the balls, they felt more than easy! It wasn't a fluke! He was great! He was genuinely--- oh no.
Once more, on that final ball, Mahmud's legs noodled out and he did a particularly impressive split, hitting himself where the moons don't shine. Nothing more was said, not a cry was given. Just the sad sound of a boy's dreams being flushed away as he slipped off a ball and fell into the water below.

Ice.. yeah... that sounded good right about now. Now that his jimmies had been thoroughly rustled, a bunch of ice being dumped on it sounded pretty damn good right about now. So Mahmud figured he may as well do the last booth, slowly sliding over... only to have the bucket dropped on his head, causing him to topple over.
Another troll asked him if he was alright, and all he croaked out "Yup. Fine. May as well let this happen to me today.". Said troll looked concerned at first, but then just took a towel and gently draped it over Mahmud. It was best to just... leave the poor guy alone for a while.

Nictor was back at Bikini Bootcamp with a very express purpose, having been convinced by Kolako that he just had to do this. It would be the best. Seeing her eager for something like this, he couldn't say no, not really.
It's not like he'd be wearing any less than what he already had on.
Nictor was on his way away from the free swag table when he got roped into another game, just as he had on his last visit. He tried to stutter an excuse but the other yellowblood would not hear it. So here Nictor was, a bat in hand, staring wide eyed up at the waterfall with a toothy gleeful grin watching him. Nictor made a strangled noise when watermelons appeared, raining down like sweet sugary death.
He dodged and ducked and tried his best to avoid them, booing echoing in his ears, not that he much cared. however, when he couldn't avoid one, when he saw the watermelon just feet away from his face, he reacted. His arms swung and bam! Chunks flew and juice splashed his face and adrenaline surged. He stared death in the face and it was green, striped, and bled watery pink.
He realized, as much as he didn't want to, that smashing the things was the best way to save himself from the watermelon rain of death, and had to follow through. While Nictor was trying to calm down and climbing out of the shallow pool, the yellowblood vendor gave him a mild nod and allowed his escape.

Invira was back to mend her broken pride, or was she back for more pain? She balled her fists and stared the obstacle course down.
Invira takes off and clears the first obstacle like it's nothing. She could feel herself getting a little overly excited, but manages to keep herself in check to focus on the second obstacle. Flying through the course, she thought she was going to win for sure.
As she saw the last mat only a few feet in front of her, she felt her heart beating faster and her breath speeding up. However, all the excitement was gone as she faceplants on the last mat and falls into the water. Invira jumps out and quickly dries herself off. Still grouch-faced from not completing the course, she allows herself to take some of the prizes.
Dei waded into the watermelon smash area and readied himself- this time he'd actually hit the melons and not spend most of the time dodging. He was sure of it. And for once, he wasn't wrong. While he did dodge a few of them, he managed to smash quite a few of them! Pretty good work for someone his age, at least he thought so.
Deimos was terribly distracted. So distracted he hadn't really been paying attention to anything Lorata was saying. He wasn't sure what hit him, but it sure wasn't a water balloon. As soon as he was able, he scurried away from Flydra - something about the way she was looking at him made him nervous...

He was gonna do it! He'd managed to get past the quads- he felt good about the chimes. After he'd passed those, he paused to assess the bouncing balls. These things were a nightmare. Clearly he had to come up with some kind of strategy to get by them- just going for it hadn't worked before. Unfortunately no amount of strategizing could've handled his foot going through the mat again. Didn't they maintain this stuff?!

A smaller turn out tonight but that's okay, we had too many watermelon slices from yesterday. This gave the booth time to get rid of some of that crap. Don't forget though, there's still plenty of bikinis to go around as well! You get a bikini and you get a bikini and you get a bikini!
