It took Zero a while to get everything sorted out at the booth for exchanging eggs, getting his prizes for the hunt itself as well as the puka shells contained within all at once. It was a large haul, even if he'd already made sure to set aside enough room for everything. It took quite a bit of time for him to tuck everything away, ignoring the buzzing on his wrist momentarily to continue storing it all. He hardly even noticed an out-of-place attendant handing him a large, green orb, shimmering quietly in the light before he tucked it away. Fortunately, he was able to get it all squared away before too long, and got up to move out without any further delay.
Once he had everything towed away, Zero went off to wander around the rest of the luau, with Nova following right behind him, eyeing all the food that was out for sale. Despite the crowd, he was able to weave in between the locals and tourists with ease, his Gardevoir simply following his movements to keep up. Eventually, he stopped to finally get back to the message he'd gotten on his X-Transceiver, opening it up as he occasionally glanced up at the hula dancing he'd parked himself by.

Avikna's eyes were everywhere but the hula dancing. The Luau was in full swing about now... crowds were never her thing. Turning back towards Tay, the red-head reached for her shoulder, gaining her attention at last. "We should move on. I don't like standing in one place for to long." She stated. Tay looked back at the hula girls, for a moment, then back to Avikna. "Alllriiight..." she replied, turning her body full swing to face Avikna. They then started walking forward, though Tay's gaze was still on the hula girls, she neglected to notice the male standing before them along with his fancily dressed up Pokemon. Avikna reached out a hand, grabbing the teen by the back of her shirt. "Watch where you're walking." Tay's gaze widened as she turned her gaze back to the path they were walking. "Oh! S-sorry." She replied, suddenly sounding sheepish when she noticed she'd nearly walked into someone. "Woah! So pretty!" She then exclaimed, quickly forgetting her transgressions. She pushed past Avikna walking towards the Gardevoir, eyes almost sparkly with excitement. She looked like a human dressed up in those clothes, and her fur? skin? Whatever Gardevoir were made of, looked almost like a ball gown.
Avikna was ready to stop Tay, but then stopped herself. That Gardevoir... her memories were a bit fuzzy from the time before she'd ended up in Kalos for the first time, a point where she'd temporarily lost her memories. Since regaining them, the ball however has remained like a faded photo... she couldn't quite make out all the details, but this Gardevoir... was familiar. She couldn't shake this feeling. Glancing over to the male, she arched a brow. "Do I.. Know you from somewhere?" she inquired.
Arietty swished her tail in thought. "Hmm?" She hummed, holding a claw up to her chin as she reflected on Jas' question. "Maybe... But aren't her kind impervious against those psychic ones?" The lizard replied finally, adding in her own question at the end. "I don't suppose it could hurt any, if we tried." She then lifted her claws into the air, as if to shrug. resting them together, she then turned her head back towards the Luau. Avikna was somewhat easy to spot, red-hair, as red as hers, wasn't entirely popular. "I believe that is Avikna there- hmm? She appears to be talking to someone." The lizard mentioned turning her body more to face the direction she was motioning towards.

The young man hit the send button as soon as his message was finished, switching off the device just as something collided with him from the side. It wasn't a rough impact, so he didn't need to do much to readjust his balance, but it did get his attention. He turned to find a pair of trainers, one seemingly older than her companion, the younger of the two apologizing for absentmindedly walking into him. "Oh no, you're fine, don't worry." He did his best to muster up a reassuring smile, but only getting about as far as one that was small and soft.
Fortunately he didn't have to hold too long on something that didn't come naturally, as the younger brunette suddenly lit up once again, rushing past him to reach the psychic-type behind him. Nova was still eyeing the food and focusing elsewhere when Tay came up to her, her eyes practically beaming into her. She nearly flinched, taking a step back and raising her arms with a bit of embarrassment. "T-Thank you, you're..." Her voice paused momentarily as she tried to think of a compliment to return the gesture. "Quite pretty yourself."
Zero himself couldn't help but chuckle to see Nova caught off-guard and trying to return courtesies. However, it was the older girl who primarily caught his attention, giving him and odd look and asking if they'd met before. He hummed thoughtfully in response, looking over her face for something that might answer that. It... felt like he had seen her before, but he couldn't tell when or where. Tay was surprised when she heard the speech of the language Avikna and the other's like herself spoke. She'd expected some sort of... well, Pokespeak. Tay wasn't entirely to in-the-know about psychic-types and their various abilities. In Fuchia, the school hardly let any Pokemon in, it wasn't really a 'trainer school' part of what likely made it so boring half the time. Tay loved Pokemon! Whatever the case, through being flabbergasted, the teen bobbed her head. "Thank you." She replied, placing her hands behind her back. "What is your name?" She inquired. "I'm Tay, and that is Avikna." She quickly lifted a hand to point towards the red-head, returning her hand back to meet her other one behind her back. "We're traveling together." She added, now deciding to let the Gardevoir take her turn to speak.
Avikna in the meantime, missed the introduction Tay had offered, her gaze still holding a arched brow. They didn't know one another, but she sounded familiar? "Maybe. I just can't shake this feeling I've meet that Gardevoir before. Have you always had her?" Avikna asked, though as she did, her eyes caught someone walking a fair distance away, heading towards the prize booths. Was that... Ajicka? She'd changed her outfit for the most part, but sure enough that had to be her. Pulling her gaze away, she turned towards the male once more, dropping her curious gaze to return to her natural scowl. She hated to leave a mystery a mystery, but in the end it didn't really matter if they knew one another or not, frankly she didn't care that much to dwell upon it. "Whatever, it's not important anyway. Tay, we're leaving."
The teen looked back, a heavy look of disappointment in her eyes. "But Avikna, I want to stay and talk... Can't we stay just a little longer?" Tay half-whined. It drew a sigh from Avikna. She wanted to go to talk to Ajicka before the brunette up and decided to ditch this luau, she appeared on a mission... But she couldn't leave Tay there alone, it wasn't safe. Glancing away for a moment, she then turned back to the male, and began fishing out a couple Pokeballs. "If she bothers you to much, just send her back to me. Tay I'm going to speak with someone. " From the balls she pulled out, she released Aislin and Kezia, the two glanced around a bit confused as to why they'd been released once more ."Watch Tay. Don't let her go out of your sight." Aislin was first to react. 'We're on babysitting duty?' She growled. "No, Kezia is, you're the baby." Avikna replied sharply. She then offered one more quick glance at the male before turning away and walking towards the prize booths once more. Aislin crossed her paws, sticking her tongue out at Avikna's back. Kezia let out a chuckle 'You're only proving her point' The fox replied. They then turned back towards Tay and the male. Kezia offered a nod towards the male before turning her attention to the dressed up Gardevoir. It was interesting seeing the psychic dressed up in human attire, to bad she couldn't just illusion herself to appear like she was wearing human clothes.
Keeping to a brisk pace, Avikna didn't want to lose the chance to miss Ajicka. As she grew closer however, she slowed her pace and eventually stopped at a fair distance. "So you are here after all. I felt Jas couldn't of decided to just come on his own." The red-head spoke, hopefully gaining Ajicka's attention. She seemed in deep thought, so the red-head was somewhat primed to add a bit more... volume to her next words.

She rolled her eyes and shut off her communicator, looking up with the full intention of getting her things together, grabbing Jas,and heading off to carry through with her plan. With this change, an the realization that she was not nearly as prepared as she thought she was, she was more than ready to get started. A familiar voice cut her off, however.
Ajicka jerked her head up, frowning initially, but then raising her eyebrows slightly as, indeed, Avikna was there. "Actually, he's been on his own most of the time lately, so he might've been here on his own," she replied, crossing her arms, "But yeah, I'm here." She looked at her quizzically. "Are you here for the... festivities? Or did you do that egg hunt thing too?" she asked, shifting her weight to one side. She kind of... doubted Avikna was here for all the fun and games and performances, but, who knew. Maybe her pokemon dragged her here. Seeing her did remind her, though; she'd been slacking on all the self defense she'd taught her, back at the-- oh, huh. She had been at the Ren Fair. Alright well, good to know. Nova was able to calm down a bit as Tay... Sort of calmed down, a bit. She wasn't rushing to get any closer, at least, which let the Gardevoir compose herself and talk with the girl normally. The shadow of her trainer leaned closer to the two as they spoke, interested in the conversation herself, but unwilling to come out of her hiding spot. "It's nice to meet you, Tay," She began, giggling slightly at all of the girl's energy. "My name's Nova, and his is Zero. She gestured over to her trainer, before adjusting the sunhat on her head. "How long have the two of you been traveling?"
While those two conversed, Zero began to wonder where he could've met the older, redheaded girl. He caught her name from Tay's introduction, but it didn't seem to ring any bells either. He could only guess that they were just in the same place at the same time, and didn't actually meet face to face or anything. Admittedly, there were a few instances where that could've happened, but he couldn't quite pin anything down. There was a buzzing on his wrist as he tried thinking, but he held off on checking the message.
Things seemed to click for him when Avikna pointed out Nova as her reference point. "Oh, uh, yeah, she's been with me since the beginning," he responded, hoping to think of another place they could've met. She was very distinct, so he wouldn't be surprised if she just remembered the look and she'd seen them out in the world. But, a part of him knew the most likely place, a place they could almost certainly not forget. But before he could bring it up, something else caught her attention, and Avikna dismissed their conversation.
Zero himself seemed to snap out of things momentarily, surprised at how suddenly the redhead moved to leave. Her companion didn't seem to share that urgency, though, wanting to stay and chat instead. Avikna relented, and the exchange almost reminded him of an impatient mother with her child. "Alright, will do." She left a few pokemon with them to keep an eye on the younger girl, and he nodded back to the Zoroark as he turned his attention to Tay, now that she'd been left with them. "I'm guessing you two're here 'cause of that egg hunt?"

Avikna had pondered some about Zero's response, but given her instant notice of Ajicka at the time she didn't think to continue on with that conversation. If he'd always had the Gardevoir, then it meant that it was mostly certainly him that had been with it at the time she'd see it, though for the life of her she just couldn't recall where she'd seen a skinny, white-haired male. Perhaps it was better left unknown? Whatever the case, she was now standing before Ajicka, listening to the brunette's flat responses, some thing never change. Avikna recalled mention of Jas' freedom to fly around and do whatever he pleased. "Ah right, I forget you give him free rein." She replied. Her own arms fell to her side for a moment before one rose to rest on her hip with the other gripped the strap of her bag. She quickly shook her head at Ajicka's question in return. "Well-" She paused "Speaking technically, I'm here for both." She then stepped to the side, and used the hand she'd previously rested on her hip to motion in the distance towards the familiar male and Tay. She noted Aislin and Kezia were still standing by. "I'm here with Tay." Her gaze moved back to Ajicka. "I mentioned her right? Back at the Renaissance?" Something told her she didn't. There was quite a lot she might of neglected to tell Ajicka, rather.. things that hadn't come up. "Get this, I found her in the Chargestone Cave, back in Unova. A while back actually. Couldn't speak a lick of our language." The red-head's gaze narrowed, not entirely looking at anything specific. "She wanted to take part in this egg hunt thing.. Even signed her up to be trainer. This region is technically her starting point at being a trainer, so we'll be sticking around Alola for awhile. What about you? Just hear for the egghunt? I noticed you were walking towards the prize booths." Ajicka hardly seemed the type for a childish event like this, but at the same time.. there was a display of prizes that made Avikna a tad angry she didn't sign up. Another megastone for one of her Pokemon, or some training items like those Lucky eggs. Well, it was to late now, perhaps if this event took place next year she'd partake?
Tay's gaze continued to sparkle up at the Gardevoir. "Nova is a pretty name." She replied, Glancing over towards the male that was introduced as Zero. "You have a number as your name? How silly." She chuckled, turning her attention back to Nova. "It's been umm..." The teen held a hand up to her chin to think. "About two weeks.... no, more than that. We were separated for a while, but then Avikna came and found me and we started traveling together again. She signed me up to be trainer and we went on the egg hunt together!" She then held up her Venasaurite, a somewhat proud look on her face. "I got this with the little shell thingies." She returned her gaze to Zero, nodding. "And because Luau's are fun!" This being Tay's first luau, her idea of one had been far more extravagant, but in the end this one was living up to her expectations rather well. Kezia continued to grin, finding the teen's energy somewhat amusing. While Aislin didn't appear as thrilled, the canine did like the smell of the food that was being cooked nearby.

Ajicka nodded a bit, eying Avikna at the answer. "Yeah?" she questioned quizzically, clearly not sure what that was supposed to mean. She raised her eyebrows some when she said she was here with someone. Tay... Was the name familiar? She couldn't remember. She twitched slightly and her lips thinned when Avikna seemed to recall mentioning her, unlike Ajicka. "Maybe? I guess? .... I don't know, I don't really remember," she finally admitted, initially caught off guard. She'd started trying to bluff her way through it, subconsciously embarrassed by the poor memory, but her stubborn bluntness took over and the truth came out.
She frowned and folded her arms as she explained. "Chargestone?" she muttered. That was a weird place for someone to live. Human speech or no. "What do you mean 'our tongue'? How did you guys communicate?" she asked, some irritation rising at all her confusion. There were a lot of languages... did Avikna mean English? Or any of them? And how did she get from there, to this egg thing. Did this just happen? But, no.... she mentioned talking about her at the Ren Fair. So, before then? But where had she been, then... This was confusing.
She shifted and straightened up when Avikna turned the question back on her. "Yeah, I'm just here to grab some prizes and move on. I need to... get back to training," she replied, hesitating. Again, probably better not to mention what she was training up for. Especially since now, it was a bit sour for her having realized just how careless she'd been. "Are you done in your region, then?" she asked, looking at her with some regard.
In the skies, Jas had looked thoughtful to Arietty's response, before giving a shrug. He admittedly didn't know a lot about Zoroarks, despite ZK and his influence -- or well... general existence -- around Ajicka. He hadn't really heard from him or anything, after all. But, he knew he could reach him or Ajicka, if he needed. Too bad Jas couldn't really return the favor to ask about something like this... He blinked and looked over when Arietty observed that Avikna was talking to someone. "That's Zero! He has another Charizard, like us. Or, well... like you. Except opposite. He's got the same mega form, but he's really light, pretty much white, colored," he commented, looking back up to Arietty. He glanced down, perking up some with interest, and wagging his tail slightly, when he noticed Avikna moving over, and finding Ajicka. Huh! They found each other after all.

Avikna's gaze leveled. Perhaps she had neglected to tell Ajicka about Tay. A lot had happened at the renfare, much of it she might of neglected to tell her.. rather, perhaps Avikna thought it wasn't worth mentioning. She'd been stupidly determined to do it by herself, that turned out to be a huge failure for the most part. "I don't really remember either. We didn't entirely talk much, given the distractions and that bit of sparring we did." Avikna replied eventually, letting out a heavy sigh to Ajicka's following questions. "I know. Chargestone cave, of all places. But.. As far as Tay's managed to tell me she was raised by the Pokemon who nest within the cave." The red-head paused for a moment. "Our language, as in... any language. Mave translated for myself." Had Ajicka forgotten the wolf? Now that she found odd. If Ajicka had forgotten the giant red rare Pokemon that followed her around that'd be real odd. "She seems to have a knack of understanding the various languages the Pokemon speak, most likely due to her being raised by them." Pokemon, unlike humans, seemed to have a universal language, some of it may adapt, accents varying, but as far as language went it was all typically the same. At least as far as Avikna's experiences went, not that she could understand Pokemon, but well.. they all obeyed her commands despite being caught in different regions.
The red-head's gaze traveled to the prize booth when Ajicka explained she'd come to pick up a few prizes and leave. So she had taken part. "Yea.. I definitely need to train myself." She replied, eyeing a few medication items nearby. A reminder of her almost failure at the Viridian gym. Her gaze returned to Ajicka, when the girl inquired about her own region. "No, I still have to beat the last gym." She replied quickly. "Though I have managed to knock Kanto completely off my list." There was a grin hidden in her eyes there. Not that she expected Ajicka to be impressed. Avikna wasn't entirely willing to go into any more detail on the battle either, given how... defeated she felt despite winning. "Don't worry though, I don't plan on taking on the Indigo league. That is, until you become champion." A vote of confidence perhaps? It felt right to say it. She somewhat hoped Ajicka would return the favor if she were to take down the Unova League. Not like it was going to happen anytime soon. She still had a giant obstacle standing in her path.

Ajicka. So she was there! "Speaking of Kezia. That is here right there." Arietty motioned, pointing with a claw to the blue haired fox. "Her and Aislin seemed to have gotten very close." The lizard mentioned. Avikna seemed to have picked up on it as well, given she was releasing the both of them together, instead of just leaving Kezia or Aislin by them selves to watch over Tay.

Ajicka nodded. That sounded about right to her, too. Distractions, and sparring. She frowned as she listened, but lifted her head as she mentioned Mave. "Right, you're psychic. She's a... Mareve, right?" she tried to recall. Because boy, when it came to pokemon, her memory was suddenly better. She didn't quite realize how close the two were, or that Avikna would have her with her all the time. Though, perhaps she should have, given the species.
"Huh.... I mean, I guess that makes sense. Pokemon seem to speak the same general language, probably mostly based on body posture and intonation and such.... Maybe--" She paused, frowning. Well that was a bit... too intellectual for her. "Nevermind. Anyway, that's interesting. I haven't met someone who can straight up talk to pokemon," she admitted. She looked over to the prizes as Avikna did, then back to the woman as she commented. She eyed her, wondering what she might be thinking, but looked off when her gaze came back around. "Yeah? Huh..." Given how driven and strong Avikna seemed, she would have thought she'd have already grabbed her last gym. Maybe she was saving for all her pokemon to be ready, though. Ajicka had pushed the limits herself, she knew, but then again, she also hadn't used type advantages. She looked at her curiously when she mentioned Kanto. "Really? That's... how many badges, then?" she asked, sounding curious, but not quite enough to successfully hide her competitive interests.
She blinked at the sudden vote of confidence, caught completely off guard. Her shoulders dropped, and perhaps for the first time almost ever, she actually looked like a teenage -- now barely -- girl, instead of an angry brooding aura. But, after a brief second, she smirked, placing a hand on her hips as her eyelids lowered and she considered Avikna. "Yeah, for sure. I'll look forward to the battle," she returned sincerely. Battling Avikna, especially both at such a level.... It would be a serious challenge. She probably wouldn't even care whether she won or lost.

Nova smiled at the girl's compliment, beaming brightly now. "Thank you." She couldn't help but giggle at Tay's comment on her trainer's name, the young man glancing away from her as she spoke. "Well, it may be an odd name, but it suits him," The Gardevoir defended, before listening to the young trainer's brief story. She leaned in slightly to inspect the small orb that she presented proudly, quickly recognizing it as another pokemon's Mega Stone. "Ooooh, interesting! Zero's been collecting a number of those himself." She tilted her head up to expose the stripped scarf around her neck, and the small, gold broach that held her own Gardevoirite within it.
Once Zero properly entered the conversation, Nova straightened back up, and her own gaze moved to him. A small chuckle came from the young man as she so readily explained her reasoning, as he readjusted the scarf covering a part of his face. "Heh, I see. This is my first time coming to one, so I wasn't sure what to expect." He moved his hands to rest in his pockets, leaning slightly to the side. "We were actually about to start looking around to see if there was something in particular to do, before we headed out."

Adder finished shoving his stuff in place, before straightening up, realization slowly filtering in. Huh... he was actually done with this stuff, then. Sure, yeah, there was some other stuff he could apparently technically get? But that wasn't timed. He could ask for that on the fly, or whatever. He also sort of realized -- again, the obvious -- that he was in Alola. Which meant he could.... actually get back to what he'd intended to do-- travel through Alola. Ajicka gave a semi-subtle scoff at the descriptive term Avikna used. She would make a sarcastic comment about Deoxys, but she was pretty sure mentioning the legendary might make it seem like showing off. Instead, she just crossed her arms over her chest and listened, but raised her eyebrows slightly at the last bit. "You can speak Japanese?" she asked, surprised. At least, she assumed she could, since Tay apparently learned it. Or maybe one of her pokemon taught her or something? Huh....
She shifted, glancing over when Avikna mentioned the gardevoir, shifting a bit. ".... Right." She didn't really care about meeting the girl, honestly. And she didn't especially want to wait until she was done meeting... Nova, was it? She was pretty sure Zero's gardevoir was named Nova. But, she didn't want to be rude, either. Or not too rude. She waited patiently while Avikna counted her badges, but frowned slightly. Had she misunderstood something? She paused, then asked, "So you guys haven't battled any from here yet?" She shifted, then shrugged her shoulders some. "I'm sure there are other regions, too," she added. More and more seemed to make themselves known every now and then.
She smirked some at the returned interest in this possible battle, but blinked a bit at the question. This felt suspiciously close to small talk... but it was training, so she allowed it. "Alright. Gonna head out and try and find some more trainers to battle after this, see if I can get some more challenges, or at least more exposure for my pokemon than just wild, untrained opponents," she explained. She thought about adding her plan to catch something new, but.... honestly, she was still upset at herself for that, and would rather not drag up the memory.
Jas nodded, looking thoughtful. "Huh... I don't think Ajicka could ever do that," he admitted. It was nice of Avikna to kind of step aside and let someone else be the trainer, but he was pretty sure Ajicka could never let someone else do all the work like that. She'd want to at least work alongside with her own pokemon, even if, somehow, she didn't turn it into a competition.

Stifling a yawn, Lysander looked down at Iki Town as they drew closer. Unimpressed by the decorations, he waited just long enough for them to properly land before he hopped down. So this was what all the fuss was about? He didn't see what the big deal was, or maybe he was just still bitter about not getting all fifty eggs. With a sigh he ran his fingers back through his hair, reminding himself of the 'bright side' of the situation, and that was that now he got a chance to see Melody--and Fabian, he guessed--so that was... something. Speaking of the blonde, Lysander pulled out his communicator to see that he'd received a text while they were still in the air, from Melody no doubt.

While Lysander was busy contacting his friend, and pretending he wasn't as happy as he really was, Heather took it upon herself to turn in their eggs. While fifty eggs would have been nice, she was proud that they'd managed to get sixteen; that was two regions completed! She hummed as she approached the check-in table, but found that she had to wait behind a young boy. She watched him, out of curiosity, and with some amusement noted how even young kids had gotten in the spirit of the egg hunt, which... made sense, egg hunts were for usually meant for children, after all. Beside him, a small Togepi circled his feet in a joyous dance, which, on top of being adorable, reminded her of the Togepi she had; she'd need to officially meet it, and soon.
"Oh, hmmm." Heather perked up as the boy, troubled, stepped out of the line and approached the rewards section. Although curious, she knew that she wasn't the only one in line and quickly stepped up to have her eggs counted. Sixteen, which got her a pokemon, and a few cool healing items, since she didn't think either she or Lysander would benefit from the pokeballs they were offering. She'd have to... decide later on what she wanted, hopefully Adder would approve of it!
