Harmonia ended with a slow dance around her brother and her brother shaking his head as they ended their song. It was pleasant and all that practice was as if they were doing a play right on stage. It helped to let the cubs get rest without being engulfed by the worry-worts of the pride. After their song, came a very exciting announcement. These cubs would be the future of the pride.
Kei's sister snuggled in to his chest and purred. "Aww- they are taking the cubs in!? That's great!" Preening with joy as she walked off the stage. Bowing to the lioness that complimented them. "Thank you so much- A lot of dedication came from it. Not so much talent!" She smiled gingerly. Truly modest as the only female of the litter. "He smiled!? Kei did you hear that!? We made the king smile!"
The larger lion gave a nod. "We are truly blessed with many surprises." Slowly following his sister until his eyes crossed the marking upon the lioness's back. He stopped for a moment and truly listened to her. Her voice...
"Thank you... for those kind words... Um..?" He offered his paw. "I haven't seen you around before. Maybe because I don't get out much." She was it, the lioness he had seen in his visions... Her voice was matched and the markings- he swore to not forget.

Tsu grew with pride. "These cubs.. will be a nice addition. A strong line of royal cubs already. The gods must favor us upon this day." A smile swelled up on his face, even giddy.
"See Pili, a wonderful litter of cubs. No- a blessing. See, I can see this for you some day. A nice young lion. Izzy can help you take care of them." Giving a nod.
Izzy looked at Tsu with a huff. It if hadn't been for Pili, she would have been helping to take care of the cubs, but she had already saw the swarm of others crowding them already. "I would like to meet them, and help them... it would be nice to have the pride bouncing with cubs again." Giving a soft nod at Pili, but then she hit Tsu's chest.
"See, Pili, it is good that the cubs are safe, but when you have cubs- like them, you always want to keep an eye out. Cubs are a big responsibility and they depend on you. You never want to have them in the world alone..." Nudging Pili's face and looking on to the announcement, looking around for the reactions of others.
Tsu shook his head. "Cubs are sweet, and worth every minute. I don't have any of my own yet- but one day I shall."
Izzy began to laugh. "Your too old." Chuckling.

The request that followed his thanks made Hima chuckle quietly, a teasing smirk on her face. "Oh my dear, dear Ram...do you really think you have any place to request that? Springing five cubs on me like this...I shall name them as I please, whether the name is as long as this beach or as awful as the names the Kizingo'Zaa call themselves."
She wouldn't, of course, but it was fun to tease him after this surprise. She leaned in to bump her chin against Ram's shoulder before nodding to the shore. "Why not dry off a bit and then you can relax?"

Udayi kept close to Kari, subtly leaning against him still as she watched the king and his mate speak. Suddenly being the mother of five cubs must be startling!

The duo made Starfire smile a bit more. They were quite the pair, she had to admit! "Oh, don't be so modest. Talent like that can't be taught, it had to be born!" As the male spoke to her she turned to him, offering him a calm smile.
"This is my first time here, actually, so unless you've been over in my neck of the woods we've never met!" He did seem rather familiar for some reason, though...she could swear she had never bumped into him before, though.
"I'm Starfire," she supplied. "I'm from the Kizingo'Zaa. I'm here on official business," she added, not wanting to drop that she was the heir to the Queen. That might be too much for a first meeting. "Watching the ceremony and seeing how the Bahari like to party! It's been quite an exciting adventure so far."

"That's a very polite way of saying that I look like a mess," Ram gave the lioness a wry glance and then gave her a gentle nudge back. He would take the hint though, it would be better for him to dry off for a bit before he returned. One had to look presentable and there was only so much explaining a creature could do to those who stumbled in 'late' to the festivities. The to-long-didn't-read version would probably leave them with more questions than answers!
Thus, with a flick of his tail the lion obediently moved towards the dens where he might find some heat and don his furs once more. He'd give himself a proper groom as well, lest he never hear the end of it from his mate who most certainly seemed inclined towards being decently presented. Just as well he wasn't a young buck anymore, he distinctly remembered being rather fond of getting absolutely covered in mud.
Ah, but perhaps that was something to consider.
Bring a little bit of his upbringing in? Maybe have a contest or two to test their mettle? Something for him to ponder as he cleaned up again for sure, he could even get Him to participate! (Maybe not, she'd already been exposed to the baboons and would know what was coming...)

At this time they can't remember who their biological parents are, the shock has caused them to forget. This may change in the future. 7. Plots and personalities are entirely up to you!
Remember that they cannot leave the pride at this time or in the near future, again, we may be open to this changing if it happens to be in relation to the Kizingo'zaa, but for the foreseeable future they need to stay in the Bahari'mtoto.

Afina watched as her son wandered away to check the activity. "Cubs from the sea?" She mused looking up at her large mate. "It sounds just like the old legend. The first lions of the Bahari'mtoto rose from the waves." She chuckles gently although she quickly shook her head. She was a little superstitious, it was a part of the culture she had been brought up with, the sea was to be feared, loved and respected, but the idea that Cubs could be born from the waves was a little silly, even to her. Perhaps that was because she was a mother and she knew exactly where they came from and it was far from a poetic experience. "I fear the poor things are anything but a prophecy. Who would do that though. I can't imagine." She shivers tucking herself in closer to her large mate.
She turns her head up and licks Xenon on the cheek "Do you remember when they were all tiny? Before they became the big lumbering louts they are now?" She sighs a long gentle sigh. "I miss that."
"Were they?" Xenon was caught by surprise as he hadn't personally heard of the story. Honestly, the only reason he had become Bahari was mostly down to Afina... He hadn't been one for tradition and that was in large part why he had clashed with some of the former queen's rules regarding cubs. The fact that they historically believed they had risen from the ocean gave him a moment of pause and as he considered the ramification of cubs rolling in from the sea he couldn't help but grimace. Would there be expectations on those children now, or would they be raised normally?
He assumed normally, given Ram's inclinations, though he knew little of his new bride.
"And yes, I remember," he chuckled to his mate and raised an eyebrow. "I also remember the lack of sleep, the constant complaints of boredom and hunger, the no spare moments," he shook his head and lifted his paw to brush at the base of his mane. "I'm not sure these old bones could handle another bunch of squealing hellions," he mused.

"I suppose they will," Dagr replied, sounding uncertain about whether he wanted to join in on what was going on. Still, he was supposed to be making an effort and it would seem rude to leave his newfound friend on her own after they had struck up conversation for so long.
"I'll join," he added after a moment, padding after her.

Kari felt himself blush beneath his fur as she leaned into him, giving a soft chuff of agreement and allowing himself to lean into her a little.
"It's wonderful," he agreed wholeheartedly. "I'm glad you are here...with me." He swallowed nervously, allowing his eyes to slide off to the horizon as if he feared he would lose his nerve if he looked at her.
Still, despite his embarrassment, he did not move away.
Kari realised, then, how easy it would be to fall for her.

One day pili would have herself a mate and cubs but not anytime too soon she felt. She still hadn't even met the right one yet. She was sure she would one day though! "I agree. Though I don't want any cubs just yet." She said with a small nod of her head. "Well, it was nice seeing you both and catching up but I have to get going." She said standing up giving them a warm smile. "Maybe we can talk again sometime." She suggested.

Asker, Nelly and Nemmie were glad to hear that everything was looking up for the young cubs that had found themselves at sea and figured they could stick around for a little while longer before heading back to the pride. Once they were certain they weren't needed for anything they made their way back home to tell of the stories that were witnessed this day.
