EDATHE Post 2
When her brother seemed to toss her weight around like it was nothing and lower her to the ground with a groan, Edathe couldn't help but pout. Not exactly the reaction she was expecting. It's not like every day she gets to see her big brother.
She crossed her arms and turned her head. "I walked? How else was I supposed to get here?" Really, she had no trouble at all getting to where Nuri was. If this place was supposed to be off limits, they didn't really do a good job of advertising or keeping it up. "Gah, are you not even a little happy to see me? You would think after so long you would have missed me." She waved a hand in the air, as if dismissing his groans and his shifting eyes.
When someone else approached their reunion, Edathe felt the blush very quickly rush to her face. The pierced and tattooed Oban interrupting them had it all sorts of ways of wrong. "I... mmm..."

Arima - 5
Glancing around Arima quickly pocketed the purchase that she had made with a vendor. After all surely sneaking in a small souvenir couldn't hurt, right? As the crowd moved about her the girl felt herself being tossed around -thankfully ignored due to the large interest in the procession.
Flushing, she even muttered a few quiet apologies as she attempted to weave past a group of strangers - a mix of races, including her own. Strangely enough it was seeing other Matori that actually made her almost want to run away. Sure Obans saw her as different, but there was some past hurt that lingered in her memory about her own kind.
Had they not after all tossed her away before?
Flushing lightly the girl turned her gaze to try and focus back on the crowds. Where did she go next?

Sulburi
As the parade passed the citizens and visitors, many would see the swirling colors and the flashing gold of the dancers and the army. They would hear the sounds of the bands, the bards, and the singers as they filled the air with a unique mash of music. Cheers filled the city as well once the royal party appeared, and everyone was excited to follow the party as they made way toward the Parade.
Soon enough, the royal party would give a speech, something many were curious about. Would the royal family speak on the strength of the country? Or maybe about the new open-ness thanks to the great tournament. There were a lot of options, and as everyone gathered around the Palace, they waited anxiously for the speech to begin.

Shesha - Post 7 Shesha's discerning eyes scanned over the pair before him, giving a humming sound as he did so, before turning back to Aqio once more, "I see." His brother and a hooded healer that the brother was smitten with, interesting. He couldn't say that he'd ever seen a hooded healer but perhaps there was a reasoning behind it? Anything from something being wrong with him physically or perhaps him trying to hide his identity, no matter what the reason it was none of Shesha's business... but that didn't mean that he wasn't oh so curious about the hooded one. Hard not to have at least a bit of interested when one was hiding himself. The conversation was turned from the hooded one to the snaptrotters and he found himself starring at the big one. So one just had to get them at a young age, huh? If he could get a personal trainer for such a beast then maybe, but personally... never. Such an animal was bound to make a sizable mess, one that Shesha had no interest in cleaning up. As such he'd cross such a beast off his list of ones to get... not that they had ever been there to begin with. He was happy with his single imp... though perhaps one day a perzi or a keldari might be interesting. They would add to his image of being something dangerous, exotic, and beautiful after all. A thought that had him grinning a bit to himself. "You don't quite strike me as the type to have such pets, wouldn't they be underfoot for one such as yourself?"

Incanthis - Post 7 Giving a gentle smile he said, "Here's to hoping that nobody will take issue with us then." He would rather the snaptrotters not get themselves into trouble but instead just did what they were best at, looking adorable! At least that was how he saw it. He might very well be acting the part of a doting parent though. Allowing himself to watch the last bit of the parade he gave a smile, turning to glance at Abie as he asked if they should play some games or listen to what the king had to say. He gave a humming sound before he said, "We... hope to leave soon, so I am not sure if the king's speech is important, is it?" He clasped his hands together, starring at them, before he said, "Given that you're parents and brother are staying though... so maybe we should? Just to make sure everything is alright for them?" He would leave it up to Abie, it might be best to make sure that things were safe for those staying in Oba, Aqio especially. The others were strong, they could take are of themselves, but Aqio was still a prentice just like Abie.

Bisera - Post 7 Turning in the direction that he was pointed Bisera gave a smile and a nod, walking over to the stall, and set to looking everything over. There was a lot there up for sale, various trinkets, various loose jewels, some spools of different wires, stone and bone beads, all manner of things that had his eyes alight. There were also all of the various jewelry that they already had made, some of which he couldn't help but to stare at in awe, before he started to search through everything. "There are a lot of pretty things here, huh? A person could spend piles of coin in this booth alone, huh?" He knew that he could, but he had to resist for now. He could buy a few things, but not a lot. He didn't have nearly enough to buy everything he wanted, so maybe a couple of pieces to wear himself and some various bits and bobs to use to create even more pieces. Giving a smile to Xarnith he turned back, setting to work digging around again, "Maybe I should make you something next, Fractis. A nice collar, perhaps?"

Bushi - Post 6 Giving a bright smile Bushi set to work packing things up into Aatos' packs as the parade started to wind down. There would be more chances to sell more stuff to the visitors of the city later, for now he meant to follow after the others. He wanted to hear the king's speech after all, to see how things were going. If Oba was doing well then those like him would do well also. When a country thrived then business men like him thrived as well, because the coin was able to flow. That was what he was hoping for, that there would be only good news for their country and people. "I'm going to go listen to the king's speech, to see how things are fairing in Oba. Do you want to come along with me, Sprite?"

Phaedra Post 6 Her eyes watched him as he started to pack everything up. Since this was her first time seeing an Oban festival she didn't know what was going on but Bushi filled her in quickly. Phae smiled as he invited her along and gave a quick nod before she took hold of his hand. "Sure, Bear." Anything to give her an excuse to spend more time with him.

Aqio- Post 7 There was a soft smirk. "I would prefer a Keldari...their the perfect assassin pet. Don't you agree?" he asked with a sneaky little smile. As he looked up to the end of the parade he nodded. "We should listen to the speech. Since we'll both be here for a while...I'm hoping that something about current tensions might be addressed." If that he would understand...there was most likely many nobles who will voice their opinions at some point or another. He glanced to the shadows as he saw his Caretaker walk by. Smiling a little as he realized that his foster parents were indeed being sneaky today.

Abie- Post 6 He nodded. "Makes sense." As he stood, the water male helped Incathis to his feet. Kyri slithered to stand. Her tail loosely curled around Abie's aura as her main body was behind Incanthis. Abie knew that was her protective stance. He tilted his head toward where everyone would gather for the speech. "Let's go. I wanna make sure they'll be alright up here..."

Xarnith- Post 6 As they got closer and he saw the wares the warrior chuckled. "Spoiling him already I see..." he shook his head a bit. "Pick out what you need, Bi. I'll get you a few things." He didn't mind. The other was making pieces for him, why shouldn't he provide materials.

Bushi - Post 7 "Wonderful!" Lifting a hand up he scratched Profit on the head before patting a hand against Aatos's shell, "Let's get moving then, critters. We are moving closer to where we can hear the speech." He told them, wanting to get a decent seat where they would be able to hear the king clearly as he told them how things were doing. The walk to where everyone was gathering was a slow going on due to the crowds and the fact that they were traveling along with a bushi which weren't known for their incredible speed. After arriving at the gathering spot he looked around a moment, then moved toward a nice, shaded spot, patting Aatos again when they arrived so that he'd come to a halt. Once there he leaned against the big turtle, motioning to Phaedra, "You can lean on him too, Sprite, or if you're wanting to sit down you can climb up and sit on Aatos with Profit." He doubted the small amount of added weight that was the Leaf Tribeswoman would bother Aatos in the least bit. He was used to carrying far, far more after all. Turning forward he let his eyes scan the crowd, checking to see if the royals were in place yet. He didn't see them straight away so they might be gathering their thoughts after the parade. Soon though, he was certain, things would begin.

Phaedra Post 7 The woman happily walked along with Bushi, even at the slow pace they were taking. Phaedra was in no rush to be anywhere and she liked that this man cared enough about the rate his animals moved. However, when they finally did get to where they could see things and she was offered the opportunity to lean against the giant tortoise or climb up onto it's back and sit down. Looking at Bushi she chuckled. "Give me a lift?" Of course she was going to pick sitting up on the beast! It gave her a better view and also made it much easier for her to not get lost or pushed around in the crowd. Plus she could pet Profit as they waited for everything to start up.

Shesha - Post 8 Giving a nod of his head Shesha said, "That seems a more fitting beast for your line of work." He couldn't see Aqio with a snaptrotter but he could see him with a keldari wrapped around his shoulders. It would be a striking sight... though he supposed that the whole point of being an assassin was not being seen. It was those like Shesha that wanted the spot light, while Aqio would stick to the shadows. They were from polar opposite worlds, but it was what made the little fish interesting to him, that he was a very foreign creature. Giving a smile he nodded his head, "Yes, I am quite interested to hear what the royal family has to say. It's been... interesting, the years since the end of the war. Everything continues to evolve nearly daily. A speech like this one will be important to hear." At least that was how he felt about it. He'd learn from those in charge how things were doing while picking up any gossip that might be spreading through the area from the royals, the nobles, and even the more common folk. He wanted to hear it all and a festival like this would be the best to gather information fro every class of people all at once. Walking forward Shesha sought out a good place for them to stand, one in which they were close enough to hear everything, and where they could hear the whispers of those around them as well.

Incanthis - Post 8 Incanthis swallowed hard. Alright, they were going to be heading to listen to the speech then? Alright, he could do this! He wanted to do this. He wanted to hear about the state of things after all. He wanted to make sure that it was safe enough for them to leave Aqio in Oba after all... or else they would somehow have to think about how they were going to get him to come along. If it meant that he was safer then he'd prefer that Aqio was with them... but he supposed in the long run it would depend on Aqio himself. Dangerous or not he might want to stay to complete his training, huh? Giving a soft sigh he started forward, his silver eyes scanning the crowd as they went. For the time being nobody was around that he would consider completely dangerous. He hadn't spotted Muata or any of the others that he was most nervous about, meaning that it should be fine for them to check out the speech, then enjoy the tail end of the festival before heading for home.
