Hook would growl as a Pichu approached them, causing it to stop in its tracks. "No need to be mean, Hook. The Pichu didn't do anything to you," Lynnette would say with a sigh. Hook would snort, but he would turn his back on the Pichu and attempt to follow his trainer. However, the Pichu seemed to have other ideas as it decided to zap Hook with a Thunder Shock, causing the Snubbull's short fur to stick up slightly as though it had been affected by something more like static than an actual thunder shock. Lynnette glanced down at Hook as he began to growl again, and she had to stifle a laugh. "It's just playing around with you, calm down," she would say, letting out a giggle. The Pichu would giggle as well, clearly amused. And with that, Hook snapped, lunging at the Pichu and catching it's throat between his jaws with a Bite. The Pichu would shriek and struggle, little sparks of electricity letting loose from its cheeks as it attempted to fight back against the Fairy Pokemon. Finally, a proper Thunder Shock would come from it, causing Hook to let go as he felt the jolts course through his body.

Lynnette wouldn't have a chance to say anything before she watched the two Pokemon tumbling around on the ground, Hook having Headbutted the Pichu before Biting it again. The Tiny Mouse Pokemon hardly had any opportunities to retaliate with how relentless Hook was being. Unable to listen to the squeals of pain coming from the Pichu any longer, Lynnette chose to intervene, pulling Hook up and away, refusing to let him go despite how much he was struggling against her grip. "Hook, stop! It can't even fight back anymore. We're leaving, alright? It can't bother you anymore," Lynn would say, starting to walk away, despite the fact that Hook was still snarling quite loudly as it glared at the Pichu.

Hook was still growling as trainer and Pokemon passed by a Smeargle that appeared to be painting a picture on a nearby tree. Deciding that her Pokemon couldn't be trusted again quite yet, Lynnette kept walking, leaving the Smeargle alone as she walked past.

A young Electrike began following Lynnette, occasionally attempting to pounce on her heels. Hook was quiet, though he was glaring at the Electrike, trying to tell the Electrike to back off with just his eyes. Lynnette gently placed a hand on Hook's head, trying to make sure that he stayed calm. If he could prove to her that he wasn't going to be jerk, then, and only then, would he be allowed back down. For now though, Lynnette continued walking, unsure what might await her.

Hook would growl quietly as he saw the Bunnelby hop towards them. Lynnette would say nothing, but would continue on past the Digging Pokemon. It wasn't really something she was interested in anyhow.

Lynnette stopped for a moment as she realized that she was still being followed by the Electrike. She would think about it for a moment, but shook her head and continued trekking onward. Hook, however, continued to stare at the Lightning Pokemon over Lynnette's shoulder. He wondered if Lynnette would catch it if it continued following her long enough. It seemed eager enough to be with them after all.

A Hoothoot could be heard in the distance, but, Lynnette paid no attention to it. She raised one hand to her mouth as she yawned, clearly beginning to get tired. But, she wasn't ready to stop quite yet!

Lynnette spotted a Fletchinder asleep on a tree branch. Not wanting to bother it, she continued on, keeping an eye out for whatever might catch her attention enough to warrant attempting to catch it.

A Smeargle would walk past, picking up its tail so as to not trip on it. Lynnette only watched it for a moment before turning around and walking away.

Lynnette would yawn again as another Bunnelby hopped past. If she didn't find something soon, then she may have to just leave empty-handed, which she'd rather not do.

A Swablu shifted slightly in a tree nearby, causing the branch to creak. The Swablu itself was fast asleep, and Lynnette decided it was better to not disturb it. She knew she wouldn't want to be disturbed if she was asleep either. Besides, she wasn't completely interested in the Swablu anyways.

Another Swablu would chirp from a nearby tree as it watched Lynnette pass by, Hook still cradled in her arms.

A Fletchling chirped back at the Swablu, flying above Lynnette's head. What was with all the birds today?

Lynnette would hear a small growl coming from behind her, and she turned to see where it came from. Glancing down, she would notice that the Electrike from before had apparently still been following her. "You're still there, huh? Are you interested in coming with us or something?" Lynnette would ask, smiling gently at the pup. Hook would squirm out of Lynnette's arm, leaping down to stand in front of the Electrike. He would lean forwards, sniffing at the Lightning Pokemon. The Electrike would sniff back, growling again. Hook would growl in response, though Lynnette could tell that this was different from when he had been growling before. The two dogs stared at eachother, teeth bared as they growled at one another for a few minutes. Suddenly, the Electrike would stop growling, yipping at Hook. Hook would crouch, ready for whatever the Electrike would do next.

It was then that Lynnette realized what they were doing. The Electrike seemed to have asked Hook to battle it, to judge as to whether or not it was worthy of joining him and his trainer. Hook would nod at the Electrike, as if to tell him that it was okay to start. The Lightning Pokemon would start with a Quick Attack, dashing towards Hook as quickly as it could. Hook would attempt to leap back, but the Electrike was too quick, ramming into his side. However, Hook would retaliate with a Payback attack, immediately slamming into the Electrike in response to its attack. Yelping, the Electrike would back off a bit, glaring at Hook from a distance for a moment before rushing forward again, this time grabbing a hold of Hook's back leg with a Thunder Fang, knocking the Snubbull off balance.

Lynnette wanted to shout out a command, but, she was too stunned by this display that all she could do was watch, totally speechless. Hook attempted to pull his leg away, his front paws placed against the ground. But, the Electrike's grip was too tight. Hook would have to find another way to get out of this. However, the Electrike had left itself open, and Hook grabbed onto one of its back legs the same way it had done to him, his own Thunder Fang zapping the Lightning Pokemon's fur. What Hook didn't realize, however, was that this attack was essentially charging up the Electrike, preparing it for a stronger attack. The Electrike would let go of Hook, kicking its back leg out in an effort to get Hook to let go of it as well. Succeeding, Hook would be kicked in the face. Growling, the Snubbull crouched again, rushing towards the Electrike head first to attempt a Headbutt, but, the Electrike was prepared. It's fur having been super charged by Hook's Thunder Fang, it released all the electricity that was currently trapped in its fur, in a rather powerful Discharge attack.

Hook swayed, clearly disoriented by the electricity coursing through him, but, he stayed on all four paws. Lynnette, worried that Hook might get knocked out if she didn't intervene, took out one of the safari balls, tossing it towards the Lightning Pokemon in an effort to end the battle here.

The ball would soar through the air, ensnaring the Electrike in a red glow. Both trainer and Pokemon would watch as the ball wiggled on the ground. For a moment, Lynnette thought that the Electrike would break free. However, the ball would soon click, revealing that the Electrike had stopped fighting its capture. Hook would look up at his trainer, raising his front paws in the air as if he wanted to be picked up. Lynnette would smirk, picking up the safari ball first, and then scooping up her exhausted Snubbull. The Fairy Pokemon would drift off to sleep in his trainer's arms as she walked towards the entrance of the village so that they could leave.
