Torin just sighed and decided that fighting the girls was useless.... if they wanted to see his mom so badly they would get their wish... and tenfold. His mother did NOT sound happy... that usually ment she had talked to his fathers family. Which ment she lost out on a gloating opportunity with his aunt. Which ment his cousin would be brought up... that wasn't so bad as long as Torin wasn't being compared to him. He turned to the others "Alright lets go.. I'm late as it is..."

He leads them out, stoping to politely thank Chris for having him and appoligize again for leaving so soon. As they head for the door he turns to Charli "Are we walking? Cause it's quite a walk to my house from here.... I think." In all honesty Torin wasn't sure if he knew HOW to get to his house from Charli's as he had never been in this area before.

He shook his head at the two and sighed "Honestly I have no clue how to even FIND my house from here... so unless one of you knows (which I doubt since neither of you know where I live) a ride might be the best way..."

okay! ::happily opening the door to show Joesph standing, keys in hand, expression mild:: ooooh, way to go, Joe! ::cheerfully, grinning at him as he steps past them to go get the car:: isn't he amazing? ::to Torin:: it's like he's a mind reader or something! or ::thoughtfully:: maybe i'm perdictable.... hmmm ::bouncing slightly on the heels of her feet as she thinks::

He chuckled slightly at her expression "Somehow I hardly think your predictable Charli..." He shifts a bit on his feet and turns worried eyes to her "Are you sure he won't mind? I can probably find my own way home... everyone doesn't have to come along" Unfourtunatly Torin had this tendency to believe he bothered everyone he met and got in their way... making him quite insecure about accepting help.... or rides.

::giggles, hugging the hedgehog girl close a bit:: don't be silly! of course he doesn't mind... it's either drive us or hover around the house and wait to be summoned... he'd rather be out and about. he told me so once when Papa assigned him to watch over me... i asked him if he minded having to follow me everywhere and take my orders, me being seven years younger than him...::tilts her head and gives him one of those bright, closed eyed smiles:: he was really blunt about it too, i think his exact words were "I'm your hired friend so i'd rather do it outside than in" ::giggles a bit:: he was soooo sour when he was younger.... but he's sweeten up a lot since then.... ::setting the hedgehog girl down, she skipped down the steps and then back up them, keeping her eyes on the ground and trying to shove down the pain that flared whenever she remembered the lonely years of her childhood. Joesph hadn't helped. he had been a seventeen year old boy who had just been told that all the trianing he had been forced to go through was all so that he could watch after a ten year old fluff of a girl. he hadn't been happy about it, and had made it plain... when he had been her bodyguard for about a week, she had asked him flat out, "why are you alway so grumpy?" he had replied, "i'd rather be anywhere but here, and yet here i am." she had asked him why he acted so mean sometimes and he had answered, again with his blunt honesty, that maybe if her grandfather saw her miserable with him, he'd be fired and could go on his way. she hadn't let him see how much his words had hurt her then, in fact she had never allowed him to see how much his words had hurt her. instead, she had thrown herself into helping him get fired... which ironically had the reverse effect. Chris had seen through their act and refused to buy it. Joesph had ended up enjoying working for her, and their relationship had evolved into what it was today::

"I still feel bad..." he muttered glancing at her out of the corner of his eye "Do you like being followed all the time? I think it would annoy me.... then again I don't really have a reason to BE followed"

He shrugs to himself and follows her into the car thanking Joseph for the ride and giving a small smile... and his address (which he doubted anyone knew and figured the driver would need). Hopefully Joe knew how to get to his house from here!

::listens to Torin recite his address and shuts the doors behind them, since he had done the "good servent" thing and opened the car door for them. getting into the driver's seat he pulls out and heads toward Torin's house, never saying a word::
::informingly, foot bouncing:: Joe learns all of the streets and directions and things whenever we move
