"Maybe you just hadn't found the right partner to dance with." Huntite said with a distracted smile, his focus on the Senshi down the stairs. This is probably why it was so easy for Priscilla, now Sailor Dia, to pull him forward by his shirt. The Lieutenant wasn't sure to be amused that this had happened, glad he hadn't tried to take her energy, proud that a comrade was doing their job, or annoyed that she just tried to take his starseed. In the end he settled on amused and glad, giving the corrupt a smirk as she stuttered out her introduction. "Lieutenant Huntite, at your service." he said with a low chuckle. He was about to suggest they go help out Marcasite against the Senshi when he felt the energy of other order members popping up. "Looks like more party crashers have arrived."

Hyperborea had felt two small chaos aura near a stair way and had decided to head towards them. She had to learn what was going on and she figured that this was as good a place to start as any. Besides she figured a lieutenant and a base level senshi would not be a serious threat.

Still she would rather avoid a two on one fight if she could. She made her way over to the pink haired corrupted senshi and a bearded officer. The two seemed to be talking about something but she wasn't close enough to make out what.

"You two, I'll ask this nicely once, what is going on this club? Is this some Negaverse operation?" The tiny glowing knight asked in an authoritative voice as she stood at the top of the square

Action: She's cracking youma skulls and chewing bubble gum, but she ran out of bubble gum

Before Hyperborea got her answers a more pressing issue arose in the form of Youma's aura, and a strong one at that, appearing. How had she not sensed it before, had it teleported in or perhaps one of the officers called it here. Maybe it had come after their auras, she wouldn't have been surprised if it had come after feeling her aura alone. Ever since she transcended she had found that youma came after her like wolfs hunting a wounded hair, although in this case the hare always ended up killing the wolf.

Regardless of the reason she didn't like this new element. A loose youma in a crowd of innocent people was bad, she had to do something about it. She pushed her way past the lieutenant and the corrupted senshi, they could wait.

She scanned the dance floor for the youma and had she not had the benefit of aura sense she probably would never have found it. The youma seemed like it had some sort of invisibility or camouflage ability, she could just barely make out its outline but it looked kind of like a big lizard or maybe a baby dragon.

She didn't have time to think of a real plan with so many civilians nearby she had to neutralize the youma fast. So she gathered her magic as the star tip of her staff began to glow silver with starlight and she raised it in the air. A moment latter the whole area was filled with an explosion of blinding starlight. She could see fine however and she moved quickly descending on the youma. She leapt up and brought her staff slamming down on the youma's head, crystal wings first. That ought to get his attention. She thought with a smirk even as her crystals cracked from the impact. She then dispelled her staff and her magic light, instead touching her signet ring to activated her aspect. As she was enveloped by the silver sheen of starlight she took a fighting stance knowing a blow like that wouldn't put a youma like this down.

I made an oops in the dice configuration for Eternal/Knight/General level characters. This has been corrected. Hyperborea's post is good to go because the roll was made before I factored in the correction, but if your character is Eternal, Knight or General the dice roll should be 1d8. SORRY! heart ;; ]]

There was so much more panic all around her now, plain and simple. And also, Aptera felt a headache return that she has been feeling on and off throughout the day. It was now totally higher up on her to-do list that sometime, hopefully as soon as possible, she would start working on getting more hours of sleep in at night somehow.

She breathed out a sigh both with a mix of relief and mental exhaustion after slipping quickly into one of the booths for patrons just to dodge some of the multitude of bodies that seemed to have decided at almost the same time to start speeding through the establishment toward the exit. Step one was to avoid the stampede and thus not be stampeded on by the rush of people, and so far that was a check on her mental notes for tonight's strategy being made as she goes along.

Well, it actually didn't surprise her much that she turned her head to see the single occupant of the booth sitting across the table it encompassed from her currently asleep. And then, there was a creature of Chaos she had managed to spot a few times so far but have yet to make out in terms of exact form. She wondered if the drink on the table would pass right through said shadow-looking creature or not if utilized as a projectile. However, Aptera scratched that option off as a possibility since she did not want to risk hitting any innocent bystanders or hibernating individuals. And then, she noticed the tray under that drink. It prompted her to imagine that perhaps a member of the staff here had been in the middle of serving the drink before seeking to inform someone else about the patron's sleeping state.

Anyway, after that somewhat eventful detour, Aptera was in possession of a tray as a makeshift potential shield, at present now held against her side. "If you can, would you please explain what is going on?" she asked Richterite in all seriousness upon encountering him as among those holding the mark of Chaos with a little over two yards between them.

Action: Attacking Hyperborea for 3 pts of damage.

A voice broke out through the chaos, catching his attention and bringing a smirk to his lips. If you can, would you please explain what is going on? A young woman; not a senshi, but something else. A knight, perhaps? Lower in rank than he was. Out of her league, based on the question she was asking.

"What's going on? A little bit of entertainment. We're having a party, you see, and you are all our VIPs. It's so nice of all of you to agree to be our guests tonight..." He was mid-speech when another knight, this one stronger (Hyperborea) flooded the dance floor with light.

It took him a moment to regain his senses when the light vanished, eyes narrowing as he glanced at the young woman who had addressed him (Aptera) before throwing one of his cards at the knight attacking the youma. "Hey! That isn't very nice, you know!"

In observing the fight unfolding, the monster's fading in and out of view in the battlefield decidedly reminded Aptera of a chameleon. And thus, in her head that craved simplicity as much as possible at present, that was what she called it.

When said monster came within hitting distance of her, Aptera reacted to the closer proximity at that moment by swinging the tray in her hold at the threat before the chameleon darted somewhere farther from her again.

"Alright, here's my next question. Why have you chosen to host such dangerous entertainment?" she queried Richterite again amidst keeping a sizable chuck of her thoughts directing her senses to stay alert as to what was happening around her apart from trying to puzzle through getting a better grasp of this event's gears.
