Holding onto Arthur, Ananke did her best to keep herself from falling over when the floor started to give in. Fire colored hair moving wildly around as she looked around the room. Her eyes then widened as she saw the exit quite some way away from the two of them.
"Hang on okay." She whispered before making a mad dash for the stairs. Stumbling a few times as she tripped over the floor that was steadily disappearing. She eventually made it to the slightly more stable stairs and with that brief time she was able to stop and worry for a second. Stopping on her accent on the stairs she turned to look over her shoulder.
"Altair... I hope you get out fast." As much as she wanted to go looking for she couldn't risk going to look for them and her getting trapped as well. She fought with herself and eventually made her way up the stairs.

Super Varuna
Varuna was about to use her magic again, but thankfully the youma was gone before she could. Which was good, because if she used her magic too much, she would soon run out of energy and then not be able to get out.
Of course, it looked like the building was starting to collapse around them. Varuna nodded to Palatine when she indicated that they had to leave, but there was a strange thing that the knight seemed to be drawn towards.
Not wanting too many of the others risking their lives to grab the piece, Varuna made to grab for it, in case the others couldn’t.

It appeared that victory was theirs though it didn't quite come in the form that any of them were expecting when the floor gave way, taking the giant scorpion youma with it while the building that they were in began to fall apart.
Dumbstruck by Corinth's kiss, Dallol was already moving after him in autopilot mode without so much as a second thought, trying to reach the Code Piece that was probably what drew them here in the first place. As soon as someone retrieved that, they were all getting out of here lest they found themselves trapped or, worse, buried alive.
Paris wasn't exactly a sentimental type, and the second they had an opening? The boy was off, backing up just enough so he could jump and clear the ledge.
"C-Come on!" He called back to Newgrange. "D-d-d-on't be a hero okay?" Paris certainly wasn't running for the thing everyone seemed to be headed towards. He'd go that way. And just hope he didn't die in the process.
He felt more than helpless as he watched Havasu, the man he had promised to protect, get flung across the room like little more than a rag doll. Nirvana cursed under his breath, he having to dash as fast as he could to the man's side, taking him up carefully by his uninjured arm.
"Havasu..." He growled and glared at the beast the had done this, He knowing he would need to answer to Phact for Hav's injuries. Though he was now fixed that he would not leave his side, for it was better to explain a broken arm, than it was to explain a dead boyfriend.
"Tell me what you need me to do? I am fast, and can get places most cannot. Make me useful before we all die in this hell pit." He noted the code in the distance, he feeling the pain that it would cause them if it was, in fact, lost. But he needed to be here, he needed the guidance, and Havasu needed help
Liryn had taken the opportunity bought by Athene's attack to go and look through the closest corner to see if he could find something useful with which to strike the youma with.
There had been bones - lots and lots of bones - however Liryn had figured that he could work with that, his hand curving around the longest one he could find as he turned round and back to look at the youma...
Only to find that others had also taken the opportunity to attack and the monster was pretty much done for as with a crack that sounded as loud as thunderclap it started to disappear through a hole in the floor - a hole that was quickly widening.
But there was that thing that he wasn't sure what it was and it looked important and so Liryn tried to make a dash for it, because he had to at least try.

“LIRYN!” One moment the two of them had been digging around looking for anything useful to use against the monstrous youma, the next… The next moment there was a yawning crack in the ground that was growing by the second and the young mauvian was running across instead of away.
Instinct kicked in and Eleonora reached out to grab ahold of Liryn only to have the star ornament hanging from the twin tails of his coat just barely slip through her fingers. Without a pause the Senshi of Heat called his name out again as she chased after him towards danger instead of away.“LIRYN WAIT!!!”
Shaken by the tremors that shook the ground Alcor’s eyes snapped up at the sound of her sister's frantic voice calling out their guardian companion's name “ELE!!! Oh God.” Panic stricken she turned to the Eternal beside her and grabbed ahold of his hand to get his attention “Athene… Ele… Liryn…” she pointed in the direction the two were running “We got to go get them! We can’t leave them behind!”
Turning on her heel Alcor’s hand slipped from Athene’s as she chased after her sister with long strides all the while doing her best to avoid broken shards of crystals and cracks in the ground. While the desire to retreat was ever growing, there is no way she would leave her twin behind.
The pink-clad Squire's suggestion had been a pretty good one and so Falias had selected a longish bone before turning to face the youma.
He never got to use it, the attacks on the youma taking its toll as the loss of its leg send it smashing into the stones of the ground.
It was followed by an even louder crack and then a rumble as the stones making up the floor began to start dropping...
And on the other side was the Code piece.
Falias looked at the stairs and the out to the dubious safety of the outside that was still a whole lot safer than here and then back at the Code piece.
And then with a sigh turned and tried to make it over to the Code piece.
Because even though he knew he was going to regret this - knew that he was already regretting this - he also knew that he had to at least try.

Of course they weren't going to get away or find a doorway without having to pay for it. Centisima had caught up to the squire and was nodding as he listened, attention alternating between their search for another room and the continued battle with the youma. He certainly hadn’t been expecting the scorpion’s stinger to come hurtling in their direction and hit his new companion. It was horribly unfair, though he did feel a teensy bit of relief that he hadn’t been struck.
Centisima watched as the other man collapsed to his knees and began desperately trying to prevent further damage. That did not look fun. He was at the the squire’s side in a second, crouched and hands splayed out, looking like they wanted to assist but not sure how. "I’d suck out the poison if it was a snake bite but I’m not sure it’s going to be much good with bloody scorpion acid," he said, his tone apologetic. "This is bullshit." He unwound the sash from his belt attempted to wrap it around the wound, though he doubted it would be much help.
That was when the youma battle came to its violent end and the room rumbled as the ground began falling away.
"Alright, we’re getting the hell out of here. Come on, up we go." Centisima grabbed at Scholomance, wrapping an arm round him and trying heave him upright. "Start limping fast."
Athene had been relieved when the youma had fallen.
However it was a relief that had been short-lived, followed as it was by a loud crack.
He had stared dumbly for a moment as the stones that made up the floor started to drop and the realisation hit him that they had to leave - all of them - and they had to do it now.
"We need to get out of here!" he said and the words were directed as much to a familiar senshi in white and red as it was to Alcor who had followed him when he had moved to cast his attack, but as he turned to the blue-haired senshi of cold she was already grabbing his hand and his face paled as his eyes turned to look in the direction she was pointing in and took in the scene that was unfolding.
Because there was Liryn who instead of running towards them and safety was instead trying to leg it towards a piece of something that was across the room and he was being followed by Eleonora.
"s**t!"
For those who knew him, the swear word was unusual, Athene not one to normally curse.
He turned away from the staircase and followed Alcor in chasing after Liryn and Eleonora because whilst it wasn't his intention to go after the piece of something that Liryn at least seemed so focused on, he sure as anything couldn't leave them.
At the sight of the opportunity to reach for freedom at last, Altair felt like her heart might beat out of her chest with elation. And then, she wasted no time in determinedly making the leap after Paris to then also address Newgrange as she gave a nod in agreement with the Saturn knight's words.
"Yes, N-Newgrange, you, P-Paris, and I-I along with everyone, let's a-all make it back home safely!"
Hav was focused on not jarring his shoulder any more than necessary, taking deep breaths to control it, and the nausea that came along with it. He was pulled from his breathing as a large booming crash echoed through the chamber. The squire looked up in time to watch the scorpion scramble and fail to save itself a fall into a dark chasm that had opened beneath it.
He watched with growing horror as stone by stone the hole got bigger. To make matters worse there were fighters not racing for the exit like any sane person would do but towards the other side, beyond the hole. The knight swore under his breath, struggling to get to his feet, he needed to do something... anything or they were all going to be stuck down here.
Before Havasu could get more then his weight shifted a hand on his left arm was lifting him to his feet. He wavered slightly, using Nirvana to help remain upright. Hav knew what he needed to do but he also knew that going alone, injured as he was, would not only put his own life at risk but everyone else's. "Help me get to the code and everyone there. I don't know how long the floor will hold."
With the page's help Hav made a dash for the code, and the group around it, skirting around the edge of the hole, trying not to wince at the sight of more stones falling into the darkness. Once he neared the gathering he summoned his rope and with his good hand he on one end it puddled on the ground. "Everyone who can, grab hold. Someone grab the code. With the rope I should be able to get everyone on it across the hole before the whole cavern floor collapses under us!" He explained to everyone who was on the far side of the stairwell holding out the jumprope length twisted rope. Hav had never even imagined trying to 'move' this many people before with it but he wasn't going to leave anyone behind, not if he could help it. He didn't even know if he could but he had to try... he had to try.

Second Stage -- Rope. Still rather simple in appearance maybe now it braided, cream/tan colored, but approximately jump rope length - Slight Power ~ It has grown o.O... no really now the string is a rope and it can do things! The rope has the power to warp time. Those that hold on to the rope move faster, as if the world around them has slowed down. This effect affects anyone who grasps the rope, friend or foe, and only lasts 30 seconds total. It leaves no real effects except maybe slight disorientation, like stepping off a moving sidewalk in a airport.

"Hi Ananke, I'm Arthur." He responded back to her introductions, but glad to be on her shoulders but not away from danger. The Scorpion was still kicking out, lashing, and throwing acid about the room. The best bet was for them to stay clear as he had no power to give in destroying the beast, and the girl had already used her attack to save him.
But it seemed teamwork and luck was in their favor, andt he creature fell to them - LITERALLY!
The whole floor was coming apart and if he thought the walk down had been long, he didn't heard anything hit the ground from where the Scorpion had fallen with the floor. Was there even an end? If there was, you wouldn't be alive once you hit it.
But there was still one thing left that could be destroyed than just them. The prized ball that the Scorpion had wanted to protect.
"Keep running!" He called back as he jumped off and dashed across the crumbling room. "I'll be right there!"
Arthur made a dash for the code.

Newgrange, Squire of Earth
Newgrange flashed a quick smile. "Don't worry, I'm coming," he assured, and as soon as the two of them were across, he leapt over the gap. He had no emotional attachment to the room they had just come from, but he gave it one last look before he moved as far away from it as he could.
It was a bit of a struggle—go up the stairs, or down. Explore the Academy while they still had time, or get out before something worse happened.
It was with great reluctance that he began to work his way back up the steps; he did not move particularly fast towards the exit, in case there was need of him somewhere else, but he didn't want to wind up trapped in here forever.
