Sedna had yet to follow through the portal and people were starting to move now, gathering into their groups, introducing themselves and setting out for the unknown. Centisima made his decision and started walking. He was glad she was staying behind, if that meant she wouldn’t be in any danger but it also would have been good to have somehow he knew watching his back.

Still quietly unnerved by the surroundings, he joined the group heading towards the strange damaged building.

Babylon is leading his group towards the barracks

Talking cats were certainly a thing. Babylon made a mental note to keep Alsafi close, as if that would steer the rookie senshi away from harm - but when it really came down to it, he had no plans to jeopardize his mission for the sake of a single senshi who he'd just met. She seemed like she was cut from tough cloth - she'd be okay.

"Let's hit the barracks and see what kinds of supplies there are," he confirmed, setting off. Avalon wouldn't cooperate until she had a sword, and he didn't blame her - they were deep into enemy territory, and needed any advantage they could secure.

"If we get separated," he continued, "Join up with another group. There's safety in numbers down here, and when that portal closes, it's closing for good. You don't want to be on the wrong side when the coach turns into a pumpkin."

Ever the comedian, Babylon.

When Halley stepped on the other side of the portal she felt a chill down her spine as she looked around. The whole place was a panic attack waiting to happen. Halley looked around at all three of the places that sat in front of her and she stood there mouth agape. Where would she go, how would she choose? Was there even anyone that she knew? Who did she know?

Ash the cat that awoken her. . . Halley shifted but that was unlikely she'd ever find the cat again. At least, not down here right? Her nose wrinkled softly as she thought and looked from the Castle, to the Barracks and then to the broken building. As much fun as she had exploring abandoned places, Halley didn't think she wanted to go that way. It was interesting but she was unsure about it and felt like that was a good way to get trapped in something that she might not be able to get herself out of this time. Which was never advisable.

She turned to look at the Barracks, those were usually used as food and housing right? That sounded kind of dull and boring. Granted there might be some cool things, if they stored other stuff like weapons, or medications or who knew. What if they were experimenting on animals!? Halley gasped.

She then turned to look at the Castle, "You're princess is in another castle, Mario." She muttered as she looked at it wondering what kinds of cool architecture would be there. Surely there'd be amazing wall scrolls or something right? Lots of castle like things did that! Surely the Negaverse would decorate with Tapestries and paintings too!

However, that still didn't really answer where she was going. . .

Odiansaker wrapped her cloak closer to her as she followed into the portal. The otherside left a feeling in the pit of her stomach that said they really shouldn't be here, she looked back towards the portal swirling. She wasn't sure she could go back. Not without getting grief from a lot of the others that were here. After all, she'd come for the adventure, the story telling, the . . . well whatever she came for. The page of Cosmos was now looking overwhelmed and wondered why she'd even chose to come in the first place.

However, she saw a damaged building that looked slightly familiar? She couldn't tell, making a face she shifted her attention else where to the other locations. The Barracks seemed the safest but if there was to be a story worth telling wouldn't it be in the castle? How the heroes stormed the castle to save the Princess? Odain was already writing the story in her head. She couldn't help but think this would be the best choice for the best story.

After all every story had a beginning, a middle and an end. She paused as she noticed that there were some people taking lead of groups. Well, it was more effective than bickering and bawling about what was going on and who was a whatever name they decided to call each other. . . .

"As our heroes set out, they found themselves faced with choices," She spoke, largely to herself, "Would they choose the ominous building that gives a sense of repeating history? Or maybe they'll take the Castle, Storm it, save the princess of the land, and come home epic heroes and heroines? Or, if that's too bold of a choice, will they take the Barracks? Surely it calls but to whom does it cries appeal to?"

The cosmos page gave a small smile, "Surely the Castle shall hold the most excitement, after all treasures are often hoarded there, fantastical beasts protecting doors. Perhaps we'll even face a dragon?" Shaking her head Odain sighed, "Man I really got to get out more, I've been telling fairy tales far too often that it feels like I'm living them. That can't be good."

After Odain stopped laughing herself for talking to herself that much, "I'm just going to go with the Castle, I mean how can you go wrong with a castle?"

When Hugbell had come through the portal she decided to sit and wait. She wanted to see who went where and then decide what group she wanted to join. The teen was looking at the locations, observing what their choices were. A large castle, a damaged building and a barrack? The teen seemed slightly unsure, "I feel like there's more to this than meets the eye. Granted, I felt like there should be more on the side of a fortress the way these guys were talking about it. . . "

Hugbell realized it was a castle and some big buildings but still . . . . there could've totally been more than just that.

Falias, Squire of Earth

Falias had, unusually for him, hesitated about stepping through the portal that Caedus had created to the point where he suspected that he might have been one of the last ones through.

He had emerged to find himself in a place where crystals appeared to cover most of the surrounding surfaces, bathing the area in a purplish glow.

The green crystal that Caedus had tossed in was there too, glowing dimly, with bright sparks of light every now and then.

The portal he had stepped through was there too, swirling almost ominously behind him.

Falias turned away from it - he had made his choice by stepping through that portal and he was going to see it through.

Even though his choices so far had landed him in a place where he could feel the chaos. It wasn't like sensing auras, no it was more like an ache, an irritating one that refused to go away and which constantly let him know it was there.

He did his best (unsuccessfully) to push down the feelings, conscious that Caedus had told them that they would have to be quick... And whatever his feelings on whatever Caedus was, he had no reason to doubt that part of the other's instructions.

Even if he still wasn’t sure where to go next.

He glanced around his surroundings. His choices appeared to be a sprawling looking castle of sorts, a line of buildings in the distance and...

His thoughts trailed to a stop as for the briefest of moments he felt a flash of something - or at least thought he had and then he shook his head.

He had to make a decision.

He knew he did, even though he didn't seem to be able to get the ruined building and the maybe something out of his thoughts.

He shook his head and then with a shrug to himself started walking. Looked like the ruined building it was going to be.

Sailor Cadmus, Chibi Senshi of Cranberries
Barracks

Cadmus was a tad thankful his sailor fuku came with a pair of gloves because, without them, Iduna would be victim to the boy's sweaty palms. He squeezed slightly hard on the other girl's hand as he walked due to tenseness; again, both feelings within him making it a little hard for the boy to gather his bearings. Still, he marched onward to the barracks without abandoning his ideology of protecting his fellow chibi.

Just... The fact she was a girl kinda made things a little hard to go through with.

"W-we're, um, nearly there, Iduna. One we're at the barracks, I'm sure we'll be safe for the time being," he said without looking back. He was positive if he did, he'd look as red as his uniform's shorts. "S-so if you're scared or anything, just, um, just know I'm here, okay? We'll be fine."

Dallol, Squire of Uranus

They were here.

Dallol honestly had no idea what to expect when she, like many others, stepped through the portal and into Negaspace. It was dark, no surprise there since the Squire figured that assholes like some of the Negaverse officers whom she had encountered in the past couldn't have come from an enchanted garden with unicorns and rainbows. The only source of light being the glow that came from the purple crystals that were everywhere. Sticking out unnaturally from every surface possible like a tumour.

Looking around at the groups that were already starting to form, she glanced back at Corinth then at each of the three possible locations in turn. The chaos around them felt like a disease that had poisoned the very core of what this place once was. It sickened her to think that this was what was going to happen if the Negaverse won this war and got their way in the end.

The castle was obviously the Negaverse's stronghold. Even with the element of surprise, it would be prudent to expect to encounter the most amount of resistance and an almost granted risk of certain injury there. The barracks looked deserted. Caedus did say that they only had an hour so the last thing she wanted was to head there and then come away with... nothing. The damaged building, however strange as it probably sounded, had an air of familiarity to it that she couldn't quite put a finger to yet. Had she been there before? Though that couldn't be the case since this here was Negaspace and she had never ever been here before.

Maybe it was the chaos around them messing with her brain.

"Is it just me or does that building seem kind of familiar to you?"

Aegir, Super of Silence - TEAM CASTLE

He wasn't going to listen to stammered apologies from any of his team, what was done was done and they were there. Now's not the time but oh man, you guys are in for it when we get home.

Further distracting the senshi from being annoyed was the most awesome view of Ash not only going to her humanoid form - adorable and lovely - to a senshi form, which he thought was very, very new. She has a ray gun!! In the excitement, Aegir did briefly forget about the seriousness of the mission, of their precarious position, and he picked up the senshi!cat and spun her twice before remembering himself. "You're amazing, Ash."

The Mauvian did question the reasoning behind hitting up those ruins, and Aegir pulled back to mission mode, expression going serious as he looked between the groups heading to the castle and the ruins. "Sorry Monty, there's a rather sizable crowd already going to those ruins, and we might not be useful there." He put a hand on the taller man's shoulder and gave him a squeeze, "I think it best we go to the castle. And in a hurry, if we want to catch up."

Choice made, he'd wait for the others to accept the wisdom of this choice before heading off.

Eternal Athene & Mauvian Liryn

Liryn paused at the sound of what sounded like a voice calling his name, a curious 'hmm' expression flitting over his face as he glanced around.

The sound had come from somewhere behind him, although it wasn't definitely wasn't from Alcor since the voice had been a masculine one...

And whilst it sounded like one that he should be familiar with, it hadn't from Athene either.

His purplish eyes glanced back and past Athene and Alcor who were slightly behind him, ignoring the quizzical expression on Athene's face in favour of trying to spot where the sound had come from...

And then he spotted another mauvian and what appeared to be a Knight heading towards him and his group.

There was a quizzical expression of his own on his face now as he glanced at the mauvian - well at least until he heard Athene call out a name - Niflhel - and then it clicked who the mauvian was.

"Snowball?" The query in his voice was quickly followed up with a cheerful "Heeey Snowball" and an equally cheerful wave.

------------------------------------------

Athene had been trailing a little back from Eleonora and Liryn, chosing to walk by Alcor as they continued to head towards the strange building.

Although it was perhaps a bit of an understatement to describe Liryn's movements as 'walking' given that the mauvian was moving at a gait that could only be described as part walk and part excited bounce.

At least up until the point where he had paused and suddenly looked back at them, as his tabby ears flicked.

Athene stared back puzzled, at least up until the point where it clicked that Liryn wasn't staring at Alcor and himself, but rather something behind them and turned to look back at what had caught the mauvian's attention.

It had turned out to be someone - well two someones to be precise - the first another mauvian and the second...

"Niflhel" the name was spoken almost involuntarily, as he recognised the Knight who had been once one of his team mates, a flicker of guilt slipping into his eyes.

He had missed the other's wedding to Polaris at the start of the year and whilst he had had his reasons and good reasons at that, a part of him still couldn't help but feel guilty at the fact that he had cancelled.

He waited for the two to catch up to the group that he and Liryn made with Alcor and Eleonora, even as he heard Liryn greet the mauvian, glancing at first Alcor and Eleonora as he said quietly "The Knight and I are friends - we used to be team mates once."

Sailor Subamara, Senshi of Coffee

It was like being swallowed, chaos on every side - but no youma yet, no agents. Just crystalline purple teeth all over.

Subamara stared up at the glowing ceiling above, and it was only the sudden realisation of where she was that snapped her eyes back down to the territory around them. It wasn’t a corridor, or the castle itself, more of a town square, she guessed, with buildings laid out around them. From one group of structures, she almost felt like something was begging for help, if that could be a feeling. Maybe there were others imprisoned down here, as Caedus had been. The castle towered over it all. She imagined there were eyes in the chaotic corners, but nothing stirred or disturbed the large group as they gathered for their offensive.

Groups, really, she realised. People were splitting up. Maybe they didn’t watch horror movies.

With a frown, she set off through the crowd at a jog to seek out the people she’d heard mentioning uses for support senshi. At last, she spotted Intel Guy, the eyepatch-wearing purified knight who’d spoken up before. She approached the group he was with.

“Excuse me?” she addressed Gevaudan, trying not to sound too pathetic. “Hi, Subamara, Senshi of Coffee. Is this where we’re mustering for the castle? I um. I have support magic. I can’t fight much but I can give a kind of alertness boost to a few people – it doesn’t last long, but I can cast it maybe a couple of times. Does that sound useful to your plans?” She glanced around, including the others nearby in her offer. She was talking too fast, talking over the second thoughts clamouring in her head that this was a terrible plan, that she didn’t even need to be here, couldn’t help in such a battle. But it was what she’d come for. They only had an hour, not really time for side-quests.

“If you’d rather not have me as a liability, I can just hang here,” she gestured back towards the portal, “and help with getting people out.” She dropped her hands back to her sides, awaiting the verdict of Team Castle.

Sailor Subamara is volunteering as a non-combatant to enter the Castle. (If she’s rejected, she’ll choose the Barracks instead.)

Tomlin, Guardian Cat

The portal was a strange experience, but the inside of the Negaverse was stranger still. Tomlin padded gingerly over the rocky surface of the enemy territory, as if it might open up beneath him at any minute. He wasn’t scared as such, but healthy caution kept an alley cat alive. And when caution failed, claws would have to do the trick.

So far, everything seemed calm. The dark energy of the place was palpable, but the large group of Senshi and Knights who had entered before him were all but invisible under the aura-protection of the alien’s green crystal. The dampening device shone intermittently with a brighter light, reflecting eerie disco sparkles off the native purple shards that lined the place. Tomlin still wasn’t entirely sure he trusted Caedus, or his assurance that the crystal would hold better than Mauvian dampening, but the possibility was worth investigating.

Ignoring the scenery for now, the cat flicked his tail and stalked to where the green crystal had landed, nosing up to it for a closer look. His whiskers twitched as he peered into the glowing light inside, wondering just what it was made of, and how he (or the other, more technologically capable cats) could make their own version.

Chibi Oort

Oort didn't like this place that the portal had taken him with the glowing purple crystals covering pretty much everything.

It felt creepy and it felt wrong - really, really wrong. Although it wasn't something that the red-haired teen could explain.

The portal lay behind him, swirling creepily and Oort was almost tempted to step backwards and head back to the place where the Cadon Caedus-fellow or whatever it was that Caedus was.

He didn't.

Because whilst the place gave him the creeps, Oort was a superhero and no real superhero would turn around and just leave like that - at least no proper one would...

And Oort very much considered himself a proper superhero.

Even if he was one who didn't really know where he was going to go.

Although he wasn't going to go back through the portal and he knew he couldn't just stay here.

Some of the others who had gone through the portal seemed to be heading off and so Oort started to walk too in the direction of what appeared to be some sort of building thingies that he could see off in the distance.

At least that had been the plan, but as he started walking Oort noticed that there seemed to be a cat by a green crystal - one with a star just like Horatio - although it wasn't her.

Pausing he turned and walked over deciding that he was going to assume that the ginger cat was not a cat-cat given that this place was creepy and probably not really the sort of place that a cat-cat would hang out.

"Um I'm Oort" he said as he looked down at the cat "And I'm headed over there" he paused to point towards the building-like things in the distance. "Wanna come along?"

((Oort is heading towards the barracks and inviting Tomlin along))

Elpis // Ferris Team Princess Bride

"Kill or be killed is a good exception. As for keeping purification open, they might not purify now, but it says more not going in killing everyone. But I agree. If we have no choice..." She thought. "We'll try keeping them off you, Lacri. As best we can, anyhow. Hopefully w can avoid needless slaughter, though I'll not be surprised if both sides lose numbers today."

She hoped not. This was war though, and she sighed, looking towards the Castle. In her nightmares, the terrors of a dark future her father died before her eyes fighting the Negaverse. Would she parallel that, or make a difference? ..... With her brother about to become a father, she decided dying, or corrupting, were not on her table, and the senshi's shoulders squared, just so.

"Alright. If we're seperated, look for others."

"That includes you, stubborn git." Ferris piped up, shaking her head and nodding it.

"I saw you fight. You can do teamwork lady? But you have an independant streak so wide it forms a bridge. Turn it down."

The basic moved a bit out now, moving and nodding very cheerily at Lacrimosa and Cybele.

"But hopefully we're not seperated at all! We're a good mix, even without a healer, so if we're really careful, I think we'll be okay. Besides, we can all probably punch them in the joints or other parts. So what are we waiting for. ONWARD!" And Ferris turned to march for the castle. Elpis blinked, and motioned helplessly.

"I guess let's go?"

Elpis turned, pausing once before looking to Subamara, waving to the senshi cheerily.

"You can come with us if you like. Always room for one more!"

Cordoba // Sailor Alsafi Team Blue Lantern, AKA Babylon/The Barracks

"Barracks work. If nothing else it'll take down their available space for recuperation, which might derail recruiting. No room for rookies seeking crashspace." Cordob sighed. She glanced to the others anxiously, and summoned her weapon to help ground herself, hugging it to her chest firmly as she breathed shakily.

"Maybe we won't run into resistance." Because she was terrified of anything stronger. A lieutenant had scared her... Could she handle it if a Captain or worse went for her blood? Her mind boggled and she shook a bit before shaking her head. No, no, no, she had to stop cowering, and Cordoba motioned.

"Lead on Babylion! Let's get this overwith and punch Chaos in the face! FACE." If she had a Carolina reaper, she'd employ THAT, being a spicy pepper and all, but she didn't. Oh well.

Alsafi however, eyed Cordoba, then shrugged, frowning some at Cprdpba as she raised a brow.

"Nub." She rumbled, half bemused. And yet, half of her wanted to smack the page upside the head before she shrugged.

"Well, if nothing else, maybe we'll find matches to burn the place down." She noted. "Fire's fun. At least, I think so. Hey, can we loot while we're there? I'm all for the sacking and pillaging here if we're doing a fighty thing. Just. Pillage then burn."

...Alsafi was eager at least, and then she gestured again.

"So that hole in whatever getting us here to this s**t-a** dragon aery can CLOSE on us?" She looked back, puffing irritably.

"HAX I SAY. b***h BETTER NOT." And one gloved fight pumped in the air, before shaking at it.

"THE POWER OF DRAGONS COMPELLS YE BEAST, REMAIN OPEN, ********, OR I WILL RIP YOU OPE! BIIIIIITCH!"

...Truly, a class act; a rolemodel, even.

Sailor Lacrimosa - Team Princess Bride

"I won't blame you for putting yourself first," Lacrimosa smiled, a gentle touch following to Cybele's arm before it pulled away. "We each have our own moral code and it's not my place, or anyone's, for that matter, to judge you based on yours.

"And Elpis has a good point. They may be our enemy but even an enemy can become an ally or respect us because we have come in and not mass taken out their numbers." A small, almost playful smile. "It definitely makes us look even more like the good guys by not killing."

Having been trying to cheer Cybele up, after all talk of death and purification could be a sensitive subject and not everyone shared the same views, she missed Ferris and Elpis talking about being stubborn and moving for other senshi if they got lost. But that was fine, she wasn't planning on losing track of any of them. Elpis may be a super but she was still rather protective of her.

She was pretty sure she was the "oldest" of the group anyway? It didn't matter.

With Ferris heading off and Elpis agreeing perhaps it was time they move out, Lacrimosa gave another smile to Cybele then moved to follow the gung ho basic who decided to lead the group.

Team Barracks

Perdita just kind of continued to stare at Oberon for his girlfriend comments. She didn't know why he felt the need to talk about it considering literally no one had ever mistakenly thought they were dating. Except her grandfather, but he was old and looking for every excuse to pair her up with boys (considering... well... Jonah...). It was easier to just let him think what he wanted than waste time trying to explain the truth.

She was pretty sure he wouldn't believe she was a magical superhero anyway. And there was a very good chance that if he realized she was involved with the “terrorists,” he'd take her out of the city and force her to live somewhere safer.

Perdita was at least glad Chara didn't think it seemed to be the time or the place for Oberon's ridiculousness (she was further relieved when it didn't seem as if he had any delusions about her being Oberon's girlfriend). She followed the two boys closer to the barracks, wondering why it seemed Chara wasn't particularly fond of Oberon.

You know, aside from Oberon's joking around.

“Fire might be a distraction, but I think the bigger problem is that we don't have anything to start a fire with,” Perdita said.

She took a momentary glance around to see who else was coming along. There seemed to be a good number of them heading toward the barracks. That worried her, especially with some relatively strong Senshi and Knights coming along. The strongest of them should be going to the castle, if anything.

“Negaverse agents must spend an awful lot of time down here... up... here... wherever we are, if they have barracks,” she observed. “How many of them do you think actually live and sleep here? Does that mean they've more or less given up their civilian lives?”

Corinth, Page of Neptune

Whatever Corinth had expected Negaspace to look like... This was certainly not it. An Avid LARPer, special effects weren't super important in his roleplays, imagination took hold more than anything else. But still, this was beyond anything he could have expected.

He wanted to puke.

The air felt miasmic and he wanted to just be sick as soon as he stepped out of the portal. Instead, he just... Focused on staying close to Dallol and making sure she made it out okay.

But, when he saw the building, something in him just... clicked into place. No, he'd... he was sure he saw that building before somewhere... but where? When?

It didn't matter. His hand took a hold of Dallols as his legs started pulling him toward the broken building.

"Yes, yes it does... Let's find out why, yeah?"
