 Miku was so hype to go to the beach he could hardly contain himself. He had the best time there and even though it was windy, it was everything that he could have hoped for. "My favorite parts was going in the water and splashing all those other freshlings that wouldn't come in because they thought that it was cold, and yeah it was but it was sososososo fun and everyone that didn't missed out!" He was practically bursting with joy.

 Wren got back from the beach trip and looked at his paper. He liked the scent of the sea and the feel of the sand in his fur, Wren liked the beach a lot. He also liked looking for sea shells.

 Gasp! 28? 28!? This was just AWFUL! Abel had never failed something so miserably in her life before. She had to take the test again! She was so close to getting all her passing grades, she couldn't let this stop her! "Teacher, teacher ... !" the imp cried in dismay. "Oh, pleaseplease allow me to take my midterms again! I know I can do better .... !"

 Charmstar took both announcements in stride. He gave their new permanent teacher a polite round of applause and stopped the instant the midterms were declared. He wasn't too worried, he kept up with his homework and it's not like this was math or anything. Tests were handed out and the fallen set to work answering. He was confident in his performance and when the grades were revealed, Charmstar beamed in pride. Of course, he could have done better but he wasn't perfect (though he tried hard to appear to be.)

 Lynx thought the beach was really fun "My favorite part was miking sand castles because even though I got sand in my fur it was still fun for us to work together and get things done!"

 Laviticus stared down at his poor test score with quiet dissatisfaction. They were always on top of their studies. Always got good grades ... they rarely spent their time doing anything else. Why was their test score so ... awful. "Oh." was his only real reaction to it. Perhaps the teacher would let him retake his midterms.

 Kuchena grimaced at her grade. A 68? That wasn't good at all....Biology definitely wasn't her subject of choice. She went to the teacher with a soft frown "Could I retake the test, Mys. Grey?"

Ugh! Abel had been so certain that they'd do better this time around! And it was true. Abel DID do better. Just not good enough to justify a passing grade. Sigh. How many more times would they have to retake their midterms ... ?

Oh... my gods. Her hands shook as she held her exam. This was the worst... Probably the worst grade she had ever gotten. She sank lower and lower in her seat, trying not to cry. What was she going to do?

Abel was starting to get frustrated. She had been SO close to passing her midterms this time, but to no avail. She was 10 points below what she needed to have. She only got one more shot at this ... might as well make it count.

YES!! Nailed it! Abel's hard work had finally paid off! This time around she had nearly gotten a perfect score! She had been so certain she'd fall her science class altogether, and was ready to cry when her paper was returned to her. She was quite pleased to see that a 91 was staring her back in the face, and instead of crying with sadness, Abel wept with joy. The struggle was finally over. At least for another semester.

The tutoring sessions paid off as the litch started tearing up, hugging the paper to her chest. That was such a roller coaster, but she was this much closer to moving up to the next year! "Thank you so much for your help, Mys. Grey!"

Laviticus squinted. And squinted. And squinted. 69? Really? Couldn't the teacher have ... maybe. Found a way to give them one more point so that they could pass? No, it seemed now. It looked like a re-do was in order.
