Isaiah smiled a quite knowing smile, one that explained he knew a fair bit of secrets. Looking Lorne over now, he could find the striking resemblance in his face and features, but most notably his posture. The way he slumped looked much too familiar to Mont Blonc. How had he missed it before?
Magic?
"Fancy that. I wasn't certain I'd find you twice. Scholomance of Saturn." The memories of the mountain stood at a comical contrast to the warm, sunny beach, and in that moment, Isaiah was puzzled over why the pair reacted so solemnly and soberly to the wonder. Perhaps because he was buzzed, now, and beholding a pleasantly warm, sunny day. Perhaps because Mont Blonc offered no mirth of its own, and no warmth. Isaiah took the hand nonetheless and shook it as he would at any business arrangement. Lorne's palm felt warm to the touch yet lacked signs of nervousness.
Despite the nonsense concerning confidentiality about alter egos, most considered 'allies' shared their identities openly. For Mont Blonc to trust Nadia's judgment, and for Ash to blow her cover as well, entailed a measure of trust that he lacked anymore. His inability to treat his powered life seriously allowed him to share what he considered unimportant, as that identity was truly unimportant to Isaiah Zähne, but it would not allow for real names shared amongst people he wouldn't trust with his less amicable self.
"I'm going to get a drink. Did you two want something?" He still felt too sober. "Or... if cats can drink..." His gaze swapped to Ash.

Colin was happily dragging an overwhelmed seeming Auguste towards the water when a rather loud and familiar voice caught his attention and halted his forward momentum, though he didn't release his captive. Sure enough, it was Angus - with a really tall and striking looking woman in a pokemon bikini. "Who're you calling a runt?" Colin grinned and called back, making sure he wasn't shouting in Auguste's ear or face. "Not wasted at all, I've got my arms full!" The blond's toes dug into the sand as he hefted his bright-eyed prize a little bit to show him off to his friend. "Come over and meet Auguste." He chuckled and kept his hold on his friend as the pair approached, "Angus, this is Auguste....and who's the lovely lady you've got with you?" She was as tall as the Scot and muscular, like a body builder, but she had a kind face. DaisyMilk EXCELLENT. JOIN HIM IN GOING INTO THE WATER. YAS.

Auguste had been rather disappointed that Nadia's friend hadn't seemed to want to stick around; but at least she and Lorne had gone after him, leaving Auguste to stand there with Colin all but leaning on him, his head of curly blonde hair leaning towards Auguste's icy white (he tried not to think too much about this).
"Oh, swimming!" he said delightedly, pleased with the idea. "I'm afraid I haven't been in quite some time, I - "
But the rest of his sentence was utterly lost, because Colin had wrapped his arms around him and hauled him to his feet - and then off of his feet, and suddenly he was airborne, carried by the prince (he was trying not to think too much about this either) towards the water.
His pale face flooded instantly with color, and Auguste had a few seconds of complete silence while he opened his mouth and then shut it again, lips clamped tight, too many different conflicting emotions inside of his head to actually make sense of them.
Auguste gave a squeak of surprise as he was hefted upwards and what was happening, Colin was carrying him, and he was - well, it was really rather nice, his arms were pretty...pretty, and this position gave him a nice view of his muscular back and -
Stop it, Auguste.
He blinked rapidly, twisting his head around and, in spite of his awkward position, hands splayed on Colin's shoulders, managed to give the two others a friendly smile.
"A pleasure to meet you, Angus!' he said cheerfully, ignoring the pink to his cheeks.

Dragging Daisy the few remaining steps towards the pair heading for the water, Angus shook his head in mock despair as he faced Colin.
"Surely you've heard of multitasking! I'm fairly sure they make fancy, wearable cameras now."
Releasing Daisy's hand, he reached out to ruffle Colin's hair before gently booping his nose, "An' I'm calling you a runt, runt! Skinny thing that y'are. Though I suppose that's what makes you a dancer and me a humble mechanic."
He turned to glare at Daisy when she snorted loudly at his use of humble before pointedly turning his back and smiling down at Colin's friend. Reaching out, he gave Auguste a gentle pat on the head since he didn't want to interrupt whatever delicate balance Colin had acheived in his desire to cart his friend around.
"Pleased t'meet you, Auguste. This debatably delightful lass is Daisy. She's a bit of a wise a**, but I try not to hold that against her. Say hello, Daisy."
Grinning and winking at the other two men, Daisy fluttered her eyelashes demurely and did as requested, "Hello, Daisy."
Ignoring the disgusted look shot her way, she continued to smile and backhanded Angus' bare chest playfully.
"Don't mind this grump. And don't believe him for a moment when he says he's humble. It's nice to meet you both. Um. Would either of you like some help? That can't be a very comfortable carrying position for either of you."
Dark moss green eyes were sparkling with supressed laughter as she shot a rapid glance at Angus who picked up on the hint with a commendable speed. Still smiling, she fluttered her eyelashes at Colin again and kept talking to hopefully distract the pair from the way Angus was edging over closer.
"This is a fantastic spot, isn't it. I'm gonna have to rememebr it's here once Fall sets in. I bet it's gorgeous when the leaves change color."
She tried to keep her face still, but burst out laughing as she watched Angus swoop in to lift Colin plus Auguste. "Show off!"
"This was your idea, lass! Now what? I'm not alking them into the lake wearing m'kilt! Do you have any notion how much wet wool reeks?"
Giving Colin and Auguste a despairing look, Daisy fluttered her hand at Angus and sighed.
"See what I mean? I've been telling him for ages to try a Utilikilt and he's too stubborn to consider it. Even though those are cotton and you know, have snaps for easy removal in situations like this. You'd have liked his speedo too. Bright yellow with a smiley face!"
Anything further she might have said was lost in a shriek of laughter as Angus set the two other men down and chased her into the lake, swearing. Diving into the water, she swam out just far enough that, if Angus wanted to get revenge he'd have to follow, but also still close enough to splash water at him and grin cheekily. And then, there was no sense in leaving Colin or Auguste out of her game.
"You guys'll come in and protect me from that big lug, right? Between the three of us, we could take him!" Syrie Yes hi. Daisy and Angus have no shame. kuropeco Auguste, you are friggin' adorbs, omg

"You're - "
If Lorne wasn't smiling brightly enough already, he certainly was when he heard that. Scholomance. Of course he was Scholomance. "I never expected - I didn't know you knew Nadia!"
Secretly, although he hadn't pried then into Scholomance's identity, even if he'd shied his gaze away from the photos, even if he'd been happy to respect the need for privacy, he'd wanted to know. He'd wondered about it, privately - whether or not he'd actually see him again after that night, how he was, where he was - whether or not the Negaverse had - he always wondered that now, since Plou. An irrational little spike of fear that would forever nap at his heels.
He was right; Lorne's hand didn't shake at all. His grip was eager and welcoming, and he was almost loathe to release him so fast. "It's so good to meet you, " and did he ever mean it. "We'll have to exchange numbers later - if you don't mind." As for drinks, well - he glanced at Nadia, once, and then flashed Isaiah a knowing smile himself, although it was for hardly as good a reason, a soft chuckle escaping him. "You know what I like. - although even if they've got it, I'm sure it won't be as good as the bottle you kept."

Nighttime Sets In
As the sun slowly began to fall closer and closer to the horizon, the party continued on. The hot, oppressive summer heat tapered off as night began to fall. Fireflies, rather abundant outside of the city, began to put on a show as they glittered amongst the trees and meadow while crickets chirped their songs.
With night time taking hold, the large pile of wood, which had been encircled by logs and chairs, was finally set alight. Even from a fair distance away people could feel the heat of the bonfire but some braved it and happily roasted marshmallows for s'mores or to just burn and eat off as they liked.
The summer night was still young though. And at this point many had wandered from the lake to the food and drinks. Some would say that the party was just getting started.
Nighttime has come and the bonfire is now going! People are, of course, still quite able to enjoy the lake despite it being dark.

Evren spent her whole day walking along the sandy floor and as the sky turned to dusk and the stars came out above her she wondered where the time went. Evren was going to move over to where the fire was but she caught lights out of the corner of her eye and moved towards them instead. As she got closer she smiled brightly.
"Pretty." It might seem odd to most people but to this amnesiac it was the first time she got to see fireflies up close and personal. She held her hand out without moving it and eventually one of the insects landed on her hand for a few seconds before flying off again.

Elysha had stepped carefully into the lake with Gwen, feeling the unevenness beneath each of her steps curiously as she beamed down at the water while she proceeded. She gave a nod to Gwen's words, definitely also finding the water cool against her skin and at the same time a shiver ran through her which made her clutch her long slender floating aid a little tighter. She chuckled as she said to Gwen in response, "It's times like this I wish I could swim really well." Where she was, the water was reaching at a level above her tummy now. Then she took in a breath and held it as she bent herself head to toe below the water briefly before standing again and taking hold of her floatie next to her again.

Perched on Lorne’s shoulder, Ash was content to preen a little and listen to introductions going around, receiving her adoration with aplomb. A warm purr rumbled from her throat as Nadia’s boy rubbed under her chin and she angled to enjoy it better, moving the scratching to just the right spot before rubbing her cheeks against his fingers.
The guardian perked up when Isaiah finally spoke of drinks, her face lighting up in curiosity and delight.
“Oh! I have always wanted to try alcohol!” She chirped, kneading into Lorne’s shoulder as she shifted about. Her tail swept behind her, smacking the back of his head. “Its something I’ve seen humans drink and I’d like to try it for myself. Does it taste good? It always smells very strongly, but there are many things that taste wonderful that smell strongly, so that’s no judge.”
“I’m not really a cat, you know?” She added, in the event he was thinking to lump her in with such lesser creatures. “I mean, regular earth felines don’t have my level of intelligence or magical ability. I might have been born to a pair of Earth cats, but I can assure you, I’m as related to them as you are to… apes, I guess. Less so, even. Plus, I don’t know any Earth cats that can change form, so that would pretty well rule me out as one of those, hmm?”
Not to brag or anything.
It was getting dark as they stood and chatted, but Ash hardly minded. She was in good company, finally, and pleased to be there.

"Hence the special part-" Nadia interjected at some point, to emphasize the cat's uniqueness. "If you want some drinks, I can make you some Ash." The laziest of the three offered, smiling as her eyes slid over to Isaiahs. "Andrew would probably love some more sex on the beach. I could see if I can follow the directions for a buttery orgasm?" God she was having terrible fun with these names.
To Lorne though, she reached up and patted his arm. Allowing Ash to climb on him was not only the most endearing thing, but the fact that he let her stay there well...
So amazing. She absolutely adored him.

It was getting a little chilly so Evren put down her beach back and pulled out her wa lolita kimono top and tied it on. She then continued to enjoy the fireflies flickering around. She wondered where the rest of her family was...

In her mind, Elysha was humming a made up tune that she hadn't noticed when she began doing so. The lights of fireflies had drawn her gaze and she was floating leisurely as she continued to revel in the view of this beautiful place. I'll wait for your call in the morning. Please call me then. The sudden recollection of these two phrases suddenly jolted Elysha slightly and her relaxed state was broken. "Oh no," she said softly as she gathered her thoughts while shifting back to steady her feet on the sands, standing in the water again. "I'd forgotten my mother and I made plans to chat and catch up after a long time today," Elysha turned apologetically to Gwen for her sudden movements of alarm and explained. "I'd like to see if I can still call and catch her to talk today and apologize to her about forgetting." She remembered to pick up her floatie again and then she gave a bright wave to her new friend, "Gwen, I'm glad I got to meet you today. I hope we see each other around here in Destiny City. I shall be excusing myself early from the party. I hope you have a wonderful rest of the evening." She'd agreed and made the plans to chat with her mother and catch up after quite a while. And it persisted to escape her now why she had not remembered this sooner, like when she was standing in front of her door preparing to leave for the day and trying to think if she forgot anything. Sure, it was a number of days she couldn't recall precisely right now since the plans to talk together were made, but this fact did little to make her feel better about forgetting. She didn't know her mother's work schedule exactly, but perhaps it was a day off, not just a free morning, and she could still call her today. However, this was also mixed with a sure feeling that despite her forgetfulness she's definitely happy for the good times today here at this fun filled and memorable party. Kolina I hope you don't mind I have Elysha exit here and thank you so much for lots of fun in this fabulous ORP, Kolina! <3

Evren stared blankly ahead at the flickering little creatures before she felt a presents jump into her lap. She looked down to see the familiar blue fur that belonged only to Regi. She petted the ball of fluff for a few seconds before she hear the sand crunching under someone’s foot. “Ah I finally found you!” Evren looked over to see the deep black hair and blue eyes of her younger sister. She had her fists perched on her hips and held an air of ‘how dare you’ like any nine year old would have. “We have been looking for you all day long!” Alyssa pouted so that her cheeks puffed out.
Evren giggled. “Ah sorry I seemed to have gotten turned around earlier today so I decided to look around and got even more lost.” She said this with her eyes closed and a big smiled while Regi remained in her lap with his usual disgruntled look. But at this Alyssa’s eyebrows scrunched together and her face showed even more displeasure.
“Don’t ‘tee hee’ me! How do you even get lost on a beach! It only has two directions and there is not any trees and stuff in the way. You should not have been able to wander off without anyone seeing you!” At this Evren opened her eyes and looked up at the night sky confused.
“Now that you say that you are right… how did I?” At the Alyssa just sighed and bent forward in exasperation.
“I get it alright… you almost never know when it comes to things like this… ahaaa…” Alyssa then stood up and walked closer to her sister. “Well, whatever. Mama says we’re going home now. So make sure you have got everything with you.” Evren took a quick look around and opened her bag to double check.
“Everything seems to be accounted for.” Evren then blinked as when she stood adjusting Regi to lounge on her shoulders. Alyssa was now holding her hand put to Evren. “Huh?”
“We’re holding hands… You’ll get lost again if I am not watching you after all. We will be looking for you until dawn if you get lost again.” Evren gave a big grin and then held her younger sister’s hand and they started walking back to the group with the sand crunching beneath their feet.
“You’re super reliable.”
“Of course! It’s my job to watch out for you after all.” At those words Evren just started giggling again. She hoped to have another fun day at the beach again some time… and maybe not get lost the next time.
