There seemed to be quite the hustle at the crystals now, Dekana observed, and with his attempts with the coffin not producing anything of interest, he decided to go see what the murmuring was about. He stepped on the sleeping villager by accident as he sprang over the coffin to land on the other side – he'd forgotten the person was there! They were still sleeping?? Dekana shook his head and turned his attention to bustle before him. It seemed that somebody had found impressions in the crystal and various creeple were putting in runes and ogling the results.
Strange... the arrow pointed to the left, perhaps that meant that one rune went before another in that sequence? Dekana mentally noted the order as it appeared then disappeared. If the runes were keys and this was a sort of sequencer... He wondered what the string of numbers he'd seen somebody looking at earlier were about.

The runes people were pressing into the wall were coming and going particularly fast now. Dekana had no idea what to make of the scene and shook his head. This would be an interesting result... whatever they were doing. He didn't really care, one way or another, who solved the puzzle but he wanted to get out, thank-you-very-much!

"Strange math," Hollandaise said idly, watching as creeple inserted rune after rune. She wondered what would happen once their values were discovered and laid out in... what order? From smallest to largest? In the order of 314? "I think if everyone worked together and were a little more systemic, it may go faster? Like a string of numbers." She didn't expect anyone to want or need or follow her input, but Hollandaise was, at heart, impossibly nosy and a backseat-driver. She also had not found any runes of her own - she was more of an observer, maybe. Warders did not forget, so she watched carefully.
