Niamh stared at her essay question, confused. Why wouldn't she want to come to this class? She didn't understand this at all. She shrugged, though, and began to write. I really like magical creatures! They're really interesting, and lots of them can make really good friends. Also, some of them are super pretty! Because of that, I want to make sure I know how to take care of them! I don't want any of my friends to get sick, but if they DO, I want to be sure I can help them! I love them! Also, maybe I can learn how to teach them tricks. That would be REALLY neat, and lots of fun for us! And maybe my friends would like it too. This class will be great! After she wrote her paper, she submitted it to the teacher, with a sense of accomplishment.

So he worked on playing with the slime and making it rather happy before going back to trying to get the thing to mulitply. Soon enough three little slimes where bouncing up and down. Huh... maybe they were kind of cute.
It... seemed he had managed to get the critter to multiply? He was not entirely sure how he managed it but it seems to have happened all the same. At least that means he passed the class right? Even if they were odd little things they were not so bad.

Prompt Answer: Orea didn't think she would be particularly good at taking care of anything, let alone another creature, but she poured over the books in the weeks before the test and found the idea of having a pet nice. There would be someone to be around her as she worked on her gadgets and she could spoil them rotten and teach them cool tricks! When the test was handed to her, she breezed right through it. Not hard at all! That studying had payed off. She handed her test in with a wide smile before heading out to enjoy the rest of her day.

Prompt Answer:Ren had really wanted to take Care of Magical creatures because he loved his familiars and it would be nice to learn how to better take care of them. However he was always nervous around tests and he kept second guessing himself and changing his answers. Suffice to say the first time taking the test did not go over well.

Prompt Answer: Okay he could do this. He was going to pass this time. He just needed to stop second guessing himself and…. Oh he was going to fail again. Ren hated tests. Why couldn’t he just pull it together? OKay so sure this time he passed by the skin of his teeth but ugh…. He was a horrid owner that was going to kill his familiars no matter what Mai said.
Prompt Answer: Aleis wasnt sure about taking a flitterat home they did better with salamanders to be honest. Still an assignment was an assignment and they'd just have to grin and bear it. It was only a week after all.
Monday: I took the flitterat home. It seems relatively shy and refuses to come out of hiding. Well I still have the rest of the week left to charm it. Flitterats can’t be harder than salamanders.
Tuesday: The little brat is an escape artist. It somehow got out of the cage… ate a good chunk of one of my textbooks and dragged me into a four hour chase as I tried to get it back in the cage. I at least won that battle.
Wednesday: Aren’t flitterats supposed to be intelligent. I guess yesterday tired the poor creature out. It spent most of the day sleeping. Of course it got its revenge by scratching at the cage bars all night long.
Thursday: We have come to an agreement. It doesn’t make a menace of itself and I spend more time with the thing. It’s even started to learn shake hands. Flitterats might not be so bad after all.
Friday: Shake hands has been achieved, and so has spin or at least a very awkward version of spin has been attempted…. I think. If I need to show off its tricks I’m definitely going with shake hands. It met some of my salamanders today. Familiar bonding occurred. Huh might have to look into getting a flitterat.
Saturday: Jump and glide has been achieved. Yeah teach is going to love that one. I came home after going out for a while to see that it had gotten up on top of the bookshelf. Maybe it knows there are only two more days here.
Sunday: It seems sulky today, almost like it knows I’m giving it up tomorrow. Bit one of my fingers in protest. Its going to be sad to see the little guy go.
Aleis was actually kind of sad to see the little critter go, and reluctantly returned the cage to professor Sirus along with the little report they had written during the week. Maybe Aleis could talk to the professor about keeping the little guy somehow.... or steal it

Prompt Answer: Monday: I was given the Flutterrat and I'm really not sure what to do. They seem to keep to themselves while in the cage.... I'm afraid to let it out... It mostly slept but it would get really excited when I fed it.
Tuesday: Today I decided I'd let it out of the cage. It crawled around in my hand for a bit, before I set it down so it could glide around. It was pretty cute, but I took my eyes off of it for a moment and it got lost in my mess of a room! I found it two hours later under my desk, chewing my phone charging cable.
Wednesday: I decided to start calling it Bean. I cleaned up my room for Bean (much needed) so that they would have a nice area to play in and not get lost. It would run around and after getting tired, come right back to me.
Thursday: I read a little bit more about Flutterrats and decided Bean would be happier if I started to teach them tricks. One that Bean picked up on quickly was fetch, strangely enough and we did that for most of the day. I'm going to try to teach them something more complicated next.
Friday: I made a hoop out of paper so that Bean can glide through it. They seem to be apprehensive about it so we're working on just gliding at the moment. Later in the day, Bean picked up on rolling over and putting things into the trash. Bean is really adorable.
Saturday: I learned that Bean likes to nap on my chest if I'll let them. They also like to crawl up my leg all the way to my head and play in my hair before gliding off. We worked a little more on the hoop, but I just like giving her treats when she tried really hard.
Sunday: Bean finally glided threw the hoop successfully. I went out and bought so special treats for them since this would be the last day with them I'll miss Bean a lot. I never thought I'd enjoy having a pet so much.
