In case they were forgotten (I'm absentminded, too, so I get it) or you ran into bugs (which is understandable) or Waffles ate the "honey do" list. tab 1) Avi captcha: switching the avatars from outfits to favorites ( August 8th, 2017) tab 2) Art contest for a new loading screen or area ( January 23, 2018) So... are these two LK projects still in the works or have they been scrapped in favor of other things? Sorry the task fell under the radar. I'll put them on the todo list for later this month. Lanzer S0URKITTY GAMESQuestion: Is lake Kindred EVER going to get some updates like new area, new kins, change of rigs in areas??? Something??? We have a small mobile game based on LK that will be released soon, might have some updates for LK itself as the new game is released.

Also, seconding a recommendation from back in April that shards be permanently placed in the in-game shop. It'd just make things easier all around. Opps, I'll remind the art team to do that today. July 31st, 2018: Lanzer DarkRybrin Games - Lake Kindred It's been a few months since we addressed this topic: 24 hour timers on Daily Kin Rewards.To reccap, there is currently a 24 hour refresh period from the moment you click on a kin, to the time you can next claim it's reward. It's hard to set to an ideal claiming time because of this, since you have to stay up a little later every time to click on it. This is easily fixed by moving it to the same timer as Site Dailies (once in the period of a day, refreshing at 12:00 am PST), or by shortening it's timer to somewhere between 20 and 22 hours, so you can move the time around you can collect it, and it becomes more flexible and convenient It's a small quality of life adjustment that you said you thought sounded easy enough, and would look into, though I understand with the server migration and working on various events, it's difficult to take a little time to address and ask the Lake Kindred expert. Have you had a chance to look into this change? I'll talk to Lionheart again and adjust the refresh timer ASAP. Sorry for the delay.

Games -- LKI asked a few months ago about the status of two projects for LK (switching avi captcha avatars from closet to favorites and a potential art contest for a new loading screen). ATS 7/10. They were added to what I'm sure is already a lengthy to-do list. (It might not sound like it, but I swear I do appreciate everything that all of you do on the site. Truly. You're all wonderful.) However, because I love the game and the community, I wanted to ask: any updates on these two? I actually looked into using favorites on avi captcha, but the system was different enough that it was pretty hard to implement. Though after the server migration it might be much easier to call up the image and metadata. I'll look into it again next month. The new art contest should happen in the near future.

We are a bit short on art resources this fall, so we might not have an event in LK. Though a new kin will be released shortly with the release of the mobile game Lake Kindred Origins.

I don't think there's a halloween event for LK, but I'll ask about having Labs droppable. Lanzer Jisen Meizuki Feature/GameFew months ago, we were told that we willget a new kin for the Halloween event. And recently, we had a giveaway where we needed to retweet to reach a certain number to get the kin. The goal has neen reached and the new kin has been revealed. My question is this: Is the giveaway kin the same kin we were informed for Halloween event? There is a new Kin, but it is related to the release of Lake Kindred Origin, not for the Halloween event. Sorry for the confusion.

(AKA Brilliant Cabochomp, Ember the Crimson Fox, Mewntor Mittens, Skelekitty.) Yes, I'm asking the art team to look into it. Yuroppa Princess Kunzite 2sammygate Princess Kunzite ... Honestly, this worries me. While I downright hate exclusivity of items, there is a promise with these tickets that state that they would remain exclusive to the users and only be re-released in cases of the user being permanently banned or by the user subbing/giving permission to another for a Perfect Parcel. And I'm not really sure what kind of precedence would be set if such a rule is changed, even if it's just for the Capture Seal Kin, but I feel like it'd be a bad one. There are people that have spent a LOT of funds on getting those seals and tickets like the Platinum and Baby Platinum that have the same rule of exclusivity attached. If the rule is changed for the Capture Seal Kin, then what protections are there for those that do have Platinum items that are already out? Or for the people that have submitted such tickets and are still waiting for even an acceptance after a year that have subbed them on the promise of the items being exclusive to them? While I understand entirely on the desire for people to want these items that have been hidden away by the rules, I REALLY hope you think about how this potential change could affect those that have spent a lot of their money, time, and effort on getting their item (or are still waiting for their item) if you make the allowance on one such ticket. i think pretty much even the owners of the capture seal hated the 25 kin limit. I'm sure they do, but that doesn't really change anything... Gaia has promised exclusivity on several things, from the tiers to the MCs. While those rules have changed, and I've been happy with some of those changes, there was still distrust with the community on Gaia keeping their promises. And there would even be more so if they decide to change the rule on the exclusivity on the ticket types that have that as their promise. So it's my hope - and I'm surely not going to be the only one - that Gaia will tread carefully on this promise because it could affect a lot of existing items, items that are set to come out in the future, and those users both past and waiting. Kin made with a Capture Seal will not be re-released. Nor will items made with a Platinum/Baby Platinum ticket, etc. Lanzer CraftyRani Events/Games (Lake Kindred)Seems pretty pointless to keep asking, but is there any possibility Lake Kindred's gonna have new kins and area(s) before the year ends? Is the game ever gonna get an update whatsoever? crying Outside of the new Kin with the release of Lake Kindred Origins, there isn't a new area planned just yet. Once we get more resources we will give Lake Kindred another update.

I hope your server migration is going well! Omg I totally was supposed to do that last week, I can update that once.... it lets me! Lanzer I Custom I When will lake kindred and zomg get updated for platinum conversion rates? Zomg gets 1 plat per kill which is kinda low I'd hope it'd be alteast 5 plat per kill, and on lake kindred its 1 plat no matter what when gold you can get 1 bill 2 bill and so forth. That's on my to do list, hope I'll get to it after the server move.

November 27th, 2018: Lanzer ElegantlyLuminous Games -- Lake KindredI know everyone is still really busy with the BFS and lingering migration issues and whatnot, but... just in case. During the 11/6 ATS, a few of us posted that we were having issues un-equipping the animated kin behind our avatars. (The equip button shows up and then disappears. The unequip button does not replace it.) Any updates on this? It still seems to be an issue for myself and other users. Ren Orenji Doragon might have found the problem here if that helps. It looks like there are too many forward slashes in part of the coding. (There's also a workaround that was found by Klatt in that same thread for any users that are looking for a temporary fix.) P.S. Hi. I will look into the problem later today! Sorry this issue completely slipped my mind with everything going on.
