┗━━━━━━━━━┛ The girl let him lean on her as they made their way to the entrance of the park. She was glad he wasn't severely injured, but a part of her still wished he was still unconscious. April wasn't listening when he made his first comment. She was focusing on her own thoughts. It was when Liustraes spoke again that she was made aware that he was talking to her. "I'm fine…", she started. "You only did that because you hit your head…why else would you? heh…". She was a bit envious that he once had someone that close to him. Though she recognized romantic attraction in others, she had never experienced it herself. Since the culture she observed was solely focused on romantic and sexual attraction, she figured it was the closest one could be with another person; better than any friendship or familial bond. The girl was not aware that this was not true, that friendship and family could be just as, if not more, important to one's emotional well being, and just as heartbreaking when it's lost. This is why she was more motivated to make friends, rather than find a romantic partner. She thought it would be more attainable. Simply put, her views on relationships and love were distorted. "It's better if we just forget it happened…"

Kira stretched her arms as she walked out of the portal. The park was incredibly quiet. There was a single fisherman in a boat on the pond. He looked like he had fallen asleep. Kira hid behind a tree and watched him. She didn't turn her head, but directed her whisper at Folly."That's the man. I notice he is alone, and without one of those vests that humans wear to prevent them from drowning. I've seen my fair share of children perish because they neglected their parents' warnings. I'm sure this man will find himself facing the same fate."
Kira continued to watch him. He kept dozing off, his head nodding back and forth. As he jolted himself awake, the small boat would rock. This happened twice so far."Now, Folly, we wait. I'm sure this pattern of his will cause him to fall off and drown. Once he's dead, I will retrieve his soul first. Whatever happens after that, well...isn't my concern."She took a deep breath, focusing on staying as silent as possible.

 Ａｓｍｏｄｅｕｓ Ｆｏｌｌｙ ---Councelor--- Oh my~  Folly followed shortly behind Kira through the portal, and taking a few steps standing alongside Kira. Her hands in a ball behind her in her usual fashion. Save for the tapping of her foot in her tiny dress shoes, and her thumbs rubbing each other in a nervous and ency style. Her fangs showing a bit past her lips, eyeing the man in the boat and listening intently to Kira. She wanted to rather get him live, but Kira needed to get something out of this too, and Folly wasn't about to damn his soul under her and deny Kira a piece of the action. " Are you sure he isn't a good swimmer? He only seems tired, and not so much drunk or incapable of swimming once overboard. ... perhaps, a l-little, inter-intervention?" She stated semi sweetly but with a slightly nervous and anxious tone.

Kira kept her calm composure, and continued to stare at the man as Folly addressed her."Do not give way to eagerness. The Reaper's Code is a bit complicated. Because we are the only beings, besides gods, who can interact directly with souls, we have rules about doing so. If I kill someone for their soul, I will be dragged to the Underworld and most likely spend the rest of my existence as a Dusk. They're mindless shadow creatures who wander the Underworld. If I kill someone in self defense, I have to have a valid case."
Kira let out a sigh and continued watching the man."If I let you kill him now and take his soul, I may still be held responsible. It would be a tough situation to work my way out of. Despite my recent transformations, I'm still a Reaper. Bred from darkness and shadows with a mix of demonic possession, yes, but still a Reaper."
The man in the boat continued to nod off. Kira noticed something about him. She squinted her eyes and saw that his pant leg was caught on the boat's seat.That's it...that's how he dies. How pathetic. she thought to herself. It would only be a few moments longer until his soul was up for grabs, and his flesh too.

Ａｓｍｏｄｅｕｓ Ｆｏｌｌｙ ---Councelor--- Oh my~ Folly let out a small sigh, folding her arms over her chest with a slightly small pout. " I understand, It's just been so long dear." Folly leaned forward some watching as the man swaying in the boat, and how his pant catching the seat would no doubt lead to his end. A capsized boat and stuck underneath it, how bad of a way to go. " Hmpht" She stated simply waiting for the inevitable.

After a few more minutes, it happened. The man fell over, the boat tipping with him. He began splashing from under the water's surface."It's time."Kira said as she stretched her wings. She took a deep breath. For a moment, she hesitated. Falling in the water would not be....good...She shook off her worry and walked towards the water.
Kira flapped her wings and floated very low over the water, being extra careful to keep herself steady. The splashing had stopped just as the man saw Kira's face from under the water. She winced as she reached her hand in the water and grabbed the man by his leg; which was finally unstuck from the boat. She carried the man over to the shore where Folly was."One more moment, my friend."
Kira stood over the man's body and lowered her hood. Her hand emitted black smoke as she reached into the man's chest. She pulled out a glowing orb; his soul. She whispered to the soul, and it disappeared in a puff of smoke. She turned to Folly."Thankfully, he was ready to leave. However, his soul's destination is up to the Gods. The body is all yours, Folly. Although do put the remains back where they came from. We can't have humans thinking this was murder."Kira placed a hand on Folly's shoulder. She knew that Folly was waiting for this moment, and she took a step back to let her friend feast.

Ａｓｍｏｄｅｕｓ Ｆｏｌｌｙ ---Councelor--- Oh my~ Folly grinned as Kira took the soul, and then relinquished the body to Folly. Nodding to Kira and gently touching Kira's hand while on her shoulder before stepping forward to the body and dropping to her knees. " Thank you dear." Knife hand pointing and raising her hand up, then jerking it down and into the body's chest, cracking through. Folly pulling out different organs, some setting to the side halfheartedly, and then finally revealing the heart. Ripping it out and looking over her shoulder briefly to Kira, with an innocent smile, " I like to have the best parts first." She stated sweetly then turning and chomping down into the organ. Ripping at it like a steak. Starting to moan and groan a bit as if aroused, Folly dropped the heart and reached into the body again, leaning forward over the body and exposing her fangs, biting into the throat and ripping. Repeatedly lurching at his throat. The sounds less than savory from both the body, and from Folly. Folly stopped for half a second to look straight up arching her back as her wings manifested and outstretched. Then letting out a long sensual sigh as she straddled over the body's stomach, jabbing her hands like blades into the man's chest. Biting and chomping faster with each bite. Her eyes like razors and glowing their crimson red hue.

Kira didn't pay much attention to Folly as she devoured the man's body. She scribbled something in her black book, and it disappeared. She looked over at Folly."You must be incredibly hungry."
Kira stood there for a moment, thinking. She chuckled to herself as she leaned her shoulder against the tree, watching Folly."You know, this reminds me of the first time I met you. I went to go collect your soul, and instead found you face first into a corpse."She looked over the water, but continued to speak to Folly."Do you think our lives could be this easy forever? I collect the soul, you collect the body, and we repeat this system for centuries to come?"Kira shook her head."Who knows what our fate is to be."

Ａｓｍｏｄｅｕｓ Ｆｏｌｌｙ ---Councelor--- Oh my~ Folly stopped only for a second to give a quick witty smile to Kira and her comment before going back to eating. Finishing with most of the parts she found good or favorable, she began to grab at the organs and flesh she didn't eat laying about the body. And loosely tossing the chunks and bits back into the chest cavity of the man. Sitting back on her knees with her hands in her lap, looking at the body while Kira spoke, then to Kira, giving a small sigh of happiness, " Is that so?". Raising herself up and walking over to Kira, attempting to wipe some of the blood from her cheeks and mouth but to no result but smearing it more. Stopping next to Kira and looking at the lake, still trying to wipe and lick some of the blood on her hands and cheeks. " You and I both know this wouldn't last... we're both patient, yet, everything grows to be boring after so long, no matter how fun... how long would, and could we do this, until we ended up going to far with it." Folly stated, somewhat frustrated in tone due to her bloody dilemma. Looking up and to the side momentarily at Kira, giving a small smile, " Everything new and fun, will eventually get old, but lets not plan that far ahead shall we. How about, we take our dead, lives you might say, and go with it as it comes... do what we want as we need to... and... not, not be afraid to ... follow our feelings." Folly stammering just a bit in that statement having finally licked clean her left hand and most of the blood around her face.

Kira listened to Folly's words and nodded."Eventually we'll crave a bigger and more challenging prey. I doubt I'll be the last creature standing by the time this world is over, but it will be my choice when I decide I am finished."she said, her tone completely calm and easy.
Kira played with a small shadow between her fingers."When we get old....Does it ever bother you that you will look like a child forever? Even I wish that in my permanent state I would look a bit older, and perhaps taller. At least that way people wouldn't mistake me for some helpless creature..."She didn't think that she may strike a nerve when she spoke, she was speaking with pure curiosity."Immortality is a fickle thing, isn't it....While we will not age, like a few other creatures and even Gods, we can still die...in a sense, at least. If you're destroyed, your soul will go directly to the hellish realm of the Underworld, no questions asked. Me? I don't have a soul, so there's nothing living about me, but I would become a Dusk....I would continue to exist but without purpose or anything...."It seemed as though Kira had begun to speak more to herself than to Folly. She let out a sigh and continued to play with the shadow between her fingers."You do know how to make quite the mess, Folly dear."

Ａｓｍｏｄｅｕｓ Ｆｏｌｌｙ ---Councelor--- Oh my~ Folly only gave a small glimpse out of the corner of her eyes to Kira and a assuring and positive nod. Stopping however from her current motion and looking up at Kira with a somewhat questioning face and tilt of her head looking at Kira with almost sad eyes at her words. " As old as we both are, hundreds of years is still very young in comparison to the elders of our kind, so we have a very long ways to go, but... hahhhh." Folly let out a sigh and walked over to Kira, and taking Kira's hand with both of hers and holding it tight to her chest. " I truly don't mind this younger appearance, because it has its perks, but... you should not be afraid or saddened by your beauty. And as well, so long as I am capable, you will have me, and I you." Folly said trying her best to convey her emotions, then looking down some and letting go of Kira's hand realizing the blood still on her. " Oh I'm so sorry, I apologize, here let me, oh." " Here, uh, just... " Folly lifted the front of her dress to Kira's hand and began to wipe off Kira's hand with the edge of her dress.

Kira continued to look across the water as Folly spoke to her. She was beginning to feel distant from the world she had existed in for so long. Perhaps the origin of her creation resulted in her never questioning the purpose of life or meaning for existence; she was created for one specific job after all. But maybe since her exposure to what it was like to have friends and potential for more, she changed. But, then again, was it all worth it?
Kira looked over at Folly as the young vampire took her hands. She nodded."There is comfort in knowing that I will not have to wander alone."She patted Folly on the head. She looked down, noticing the blood that had gotten on her."Do not worry, Folly. One finds themselves covered in blood in my line of work."She gave half a smile, the best she could in her lack-of-emotion state. She walked over to the water and put her hands in, rinsing them off. She looked over at Folly."Good as new."

Ａｓｍｏｄｅｕｓ Ｆｏｌｌｙ ---Councelor--- Oh my~ Folly looked up somewhat aggravated at her carelessness, but seeing Kira keep smiling and go to the water, Folly looked down at her feet for a few moments then keeping her head down walked over to the water beside her and crouched down making her knees go to her chest, and reaching into the water, rinsing off her hands, having to rub somewhat hard at the gruel and blood on her hands and rubbing spots on her dress but to no better the staining, gritting her teeth some out of agitation trying to knuckle out the blood on her dress in different spots, looking like she was about to break into tears or rage. Stopping and letting her arms hand to her side, top of her hands on the ground, peering up to her side at Kira, but only for a second before looking back to her hands. " How long do you think we'll last? ... another many hundred, a few thousand perhaps.... I don't want to spend another day if not by your sid-- eh, ......." Folly caught herself bringing her hands over her shoulders and leaning forward some gritting her teeth. " Don't leave, if you-- just... don't leave me."

Kira was slightly surprised at Folly's sudden emotional shift. She watched her as she washed her hands, noticing that Folly had become very upset. Maybe it would have been best if this conversation never happened.
Kira looked at Folly while she began to speak to her. It was hard for Kira to return the sentimental emotions, but she tried her best. She placed a hand on Folly's shoulder."I do not know how long we will last. Those who oppose us grow stronger, and that which lives inside us grows stronger too. But.."she pulled Folly close to her side."...If I am destined to exist forever, I would gladly enjoy your company."Kira put as much emotion as possible into her statements, but of course had to hold back. While she promised to stay by Folly, she couldn't help but fear deep down that she may try to hurt Folly again. But, now was not the time to discuss that. Kira felt in control for the time being, and that was all that mattered.

Ａｓｍｏｄｅｕｓ Ｆｏｌｌｙ ---Councelor--- Oh my~ Blinking hard a few times, and sniffing once, looking up to Kira with an assured and now content face. Almost a small smile. " Yes... thank you." She said now blinking a few more times to get her composure back. Which she did with a quick ruffle of her dress, albeit still bloody. " I'm sorry about that, it was not of me." She quickly stated under her breath some. Looking to the remains of the carcass that she mutilated, Folly crooked her mouth. Then looking back up to Kira. " What would you like to do now, Kira dear?"
