"I was prepared to die. She had not been chosen, but she would've gone peacefully. And with that, Kari was dismissed as someone who had tried and failed, just like Chel. Her fingers dug into the armrests of the throne and inky eyes turned towards Shun.
"Am I mad? You are the ones attacking me! You are the ones trying to take it away - the one thing that could be mine. I could have killed them, you know." Her mouth twisted into a snark and she aimed for Shun's thigh.

Quickly she jumps back after her strike and gasps as Kari went down! Frowning Camilla lunges for another strike! Unfortunately she came shoulder to shoulder with another knight and only tapped Holly's legs!
Jumping back once more Camilla looks at the crazed knight seriously "You didn't make a noble sacrifice! You took the Throne out of your own greed! None of us had to sit on it! We all could have walked away from what clearly was a trap! Nobody had to be sacrificed! But now because of your foolishness we're all just getting hurt!" she yells surprisingly loud! She didn't get mad often but she could and did at this moment! This was clearly a trap to lower their numbers and holly had taken the bait hook, line, and sinker!
Maple's breath hitched from the sudden change in that female knight demeanor. Her eyes had gone all black. She was attacking everyone. (That could have been her, she realized). The blonde went down and she still remained behind Uru with wide eyes.
She was scared. What was going to do? Shun had said to flank her, others were telling everyone to knock her out. Avoid killing her (which she didn't object to, she didn't want to kill anyone).
Finally she let out a breathe, both hands went to Twigge. "I'm s-sorry." The black knight cried out when ... something managed to get her from behind the taller fellow, claymore raised and swinging.

Kari knew it was foolish to continue, but her mouth refused to yield in the face of Holly's madness.

"If you'll notice, dear, I did not attack first." She said dismissively to Kari. Hollandaise felt sick. Why were they all against her? This was meant to be hers, now. Another sword struck her and Hollandaise bit on her lip, drawing blood. Reflexively, she fired at Maple. "I'm only protecting my place! I took this throne for you all and for me! Why don't you understand?" Her voice was cold and hard.

Shun had summed it up nicely for her. She blinked and the powerlust disappeared from her eyes. (For now.) Seeing how many people attacked the woman made Piper leery of trying to take the throne for herself, but the lure of it...
"Basically, don't take a seat on the bones," she told Brenley. "More spooky magic crap and whatever. Nice seeing you here, though." She took a stab when she saw her chance.

Somebody sat on the throne while it was still being discussed. Simple as that, and as Wrath could do nothing but hopelessly watch, he wished he had just risen his sword sooner and done something about it.
Too late....or perhaps not. The sitter became a threat in the moments to come, and while many leapt to combat her, Wrath took his time, assessing the right moment to jump in and, with sword drawn, cleave it against her side.

Jack said nothing as his unrestrained hand continued bandaging her open wound, letting Chel dig her fingers in as she pleased. The sounds of battle were enough of an answer anyway next to Estel's statement.
"Someone needs to find Sir Lancelot," he muttered as he finished up. "This is getting out of hand. Merlin is toying with us." He sat back. "Can you move?"

She continued to fight off Jack and Estel. "Don't touch me," Chel screamed again at Estel. "Go heal Shun or yourself or any of you that actually matter" It was simple logic in Chel's head. They were great knights, they were needed in this fight. Chel wasn't. Either she had to find power her own way (sitting on the throne was her option, now gone) or sacrificing the weaker to save them.
A panicked Chel was far less selfish than her usual self, apparently.
Shun took a particularly harsh hit and Chel pleaded to Estel. "Please. Just go help him."
Then the voice came back and Chel clutched her head between her forearms. Jack's question was lost in the loud echo in her head. "I don't know! I don't ******** know!" She was scared, vulnerable and too panicked to make a decision. At this point it was Merlin's game.
