Dervire expected to gain attention, and he merely grinned ear to ear when he noticed two carnies trying to outpace them. Yanamari leaped suddenly, and with a yell of surprise Dervire found the chariot airborne, then crashing back onto it's wheels. The chariot rocked dangerously from side to side, and Dervire fluffed up. The werecat snarled as he grabbed two of his light bulbs filled with tacks and flung them in Zeran's path to try and slow the centaur down if he were lucky...and if he was even luckier manage to wound him. He saw something black ahead of them, and gripped the chariot harder as he trusted Yanamari to deal with the obstacle. Still, the chariot rocked dangerously from wheel to wheel. he heard the dangerous cricking of wood and smacked the side of the chariot. "Time to head out!" He called in warning.

Zeran snorted and kept pace with the cart even as his strike missed it's mark. His ear flicked and he glanced up, hearing the snarling of the werecat. The glass shattered and tacks bounced over the ground before him. He jumped soaring over the tack field. Though he didn't quite make it all the way over and h felt several tacks embed themselves painfully in his back hooves. He tired to ignore the continued pains with each step and thrust his staff up lie a spear, trying to harm or at least distract the foul creature. Black Death's lips curled into a snarl, recognizing the cursed centuar. Rather than slowing in the slightest he picked up his pace and launching himself at her as she aimed to grab him. Aiming to sink his teeth into her flesh and not let go.

Grumbling to himself and fussing with his newly reattached mask, Antarmur'ss stalks back into the carnival. "I have won another battle and driven the Martyr from your front gate."

Yanamari felt the darkbeast latch into her and blinked, as realization dawned to her as well. "Oh look who it is... haven't had enough?" She smirks, and catching view of the very determined centaur still coming, simply attempts to move the latched on creature in the way of Zeran's staff to let him take the blow instead. She then looks back over her shoulder at Dervire and gives him a maniacal grin. "Not a chance!" she cackles, using her other arm to free one of the swords she'd brought with her, and still intent on doing damage, stretches out to slice and shred the many colorful tents they were passing at the time, as well as the ropes holding them up, laughing like a madwoman all the way.

Black Death snarls at the cursed taur's words as he was shifted about to take the force of the staff blow. He cried out angrily as he lost his grip on the taur. Twisting his body he latched onto the jostling cart and climbing his way up to launch himself at the cat growling. Zeran snorts in frustration as he hits a dark creature instead of the cat. He pulled the rose from his half and flung it at the taur as she began to bring down tents as she continued rushing on.

Dervire felt the chariot rock violently as Yanamari dealt with the two attackers. he dug his claws into the sides and hissed as his partner in chaos just brushed him off. "Damn it woman!" He cursed at her as Black Death crawled towards him. Before Dervire had a chance to follow through with anything more, he felt the chariot list dangerously to one side. A low wooden snap sounded like the shot from a gun. With the stress put on the wheels from the rapid turns, jumps, and twists. Dervire wasn't surprised in the least when one of the axels snapped. Frantically he grabbed the two baskets of projectiles, and he tossed them over his head in the air. Seconds before the chariot twisted completely to the side and broke free. Dervire dropped to his knees as the chariot rolled to a violent stop into the side of a booth. (And exit chaos to battle scenes!)
