 Jagger for once was not goofing off as he came back to the carnival and crept between the tents. He was looking for one particular foe, one he had lost to recently. Snakebite hadn't been very happy with him losing, well, she never was, but he had to make up for it before she'd be satisfied. And well, maybe if he won this time he could actually take some good food back too! But he brought his hunger under control so he could focus. After all, shadow beasts were hard to find, intentionally, without drawing attention and alerting it, anyway. The troll snuck around a little longer until he was near the place he was the last time, and sure enough, he eventually spotted him. He already had his sword out, so attempted to sneak up and run him through from behind. HP: 20

 Black Death was sitting in the dark space between tents looking at something that lay in the dirt. He was wondering if Lina would like it when a familiar scent reached his nose followed by footsteps behind him. His rage ears twitched, pulling back as he whirled around with a snarl. Which quickly morphed into a startled, angry cray of pain as the blade sunk deep into his dark flesh. He instinctively snapped out to bite the arm holding the offending weapon. HP:16

The sword of course, was not his own, the beast had stolen that the last fight. So he'd taken one from the reserves at camp, and while not quite as jagged as his own, it still had a few notches in the blade. He grinned as he stabbed him good, but was bitten hard a moment later and the troll grimaced. He didn't want to let the sword go, so he tried to clout the beast on the side of his head to knock him loose. HP: 17

Black Death growled but released the arm to avoid taking a harsh blow to the head. He backed up a bit before launching himself for the troll's face with fangs and claws. HP:15

Jagger felt him back up and shook out his bitten arm a bit, but the beast launched at him a split second later and he was knocked back on his a**; even holding his other arm up didn't protect him well enough from the claws and fangs that tore into him. The troll growled right back at him though and attempted a headbutt, hoping the horn on his head would damage him as much as the headbutt did. HP: 13

Black Death jerked his head to the side, taking a gash to his cheek from the troll's horn. He snarled as he aimed to sing his teeth into the downed troll's shoulder. HP:14

Jagger mostly missed his headbutt, but he managed to twist to get just a grazing of teeth. He attempted to bring up his knees into the creature's stomach as hard as he could, hoping to get him off of him so he could use the sword better again. HP: 11

Black Death yelped as the knee collided with the deep cut he took earlier. He lurched backwards, growling. He began to slowly circle the troll as he regained his feet. Then suddenly rushed in to snap at his legs. HP:10

Jagger scrambled to his feet as soon as the beast was knocked back, and wiped the blood from the claw and teeth wounds on him as it circled him. He had a moment, and when Black death rushed him he was ready. He pulled his leg back out of the way and brought it back forward hard to kick him. HP: 10

Black Death cried out and was sent flying by the kick into a tent. Rolling to the ground he rapidly got back to his feet and charged back at the troll with a snarl. Going for the inured arm with his fangs. HP:6

Jagger couldn't help it. He cackled as the beast went flying, and he stalked towards the tent he crashed into. But once again he underestimated the speed and resolve of the beast and it latched onto his arm once more, this time making him drop the sword. He swore a colorful streak and attempted to grab him around the neck, digging his claws in. "OFF, BAD RABBIT BAT THING!" he yells. HP: 6

Black Death growled, biting down harder as the troll tries to grab his neck and remove him. Bringing his own claws to swipe at his grasping hand. HP:4

Jagger yowled as he was sure the beast was about to rip his arm in two, and his hand got sliced up good too. He growled at him and attempted to jab his claws into the beast's jaw this time, wanting him off his arm! HP: 2

Black Death finally let go and pulled back rapidly. Only to dart swiftly around trying to get behind him before launching himself for the troll's neck again aiming to finish off his foe. HP:3

Jagger watched him let go to avoid most of his claws, and then he suddenly darted around with more energy than he should have had. "What the?" he mumbles, losing sight of him for a moment, a moment too long, actually, as even though the beast only partially lands his bite, pain and weariness and bloodloss finally causes the troll to collapse again, blacking out. HP: 0
