Cyrus was relieved when Zak finally left him. Before Perse had the chance to say anything, the dark skinned male returned her and Rita back to their balls. "Stupid pokemon..." he grumbled, then went off to a clothing store. Unfortunately for him, they didn't have anything that was good enough quality to him. Or, at least, not anything he'd pay their price for. Miserable about the decision, he bought a cheap shirt and some cheap jeans to wear since his current clothes were still soaked. "Augh... so cheap feeling..." he grumbled after changing. Even if he got his other clothes dry, he'd have to get them cleaned before he'd wear them again. He tucked all his stuff back away after drying it out, allowing Stow to sit in his shirt pocket. The rat wasn't doing anything wrong, and though Cy would not admit it, he kinda took a liking to it. Argo, despite his trainer being still upset at him for not helping earlier, was allowed to stay out and rest on his shoulder. The dark skinned male decided that with that, it was time to head down to Castelia. He'd have to get through a desert first, though.

Absently tossing Swirl's pokeball, Zak started to make his way around the city. He needed to locate his own pokemon... Hopefully by the time he did, Apollo would respond. That way he could make one more trip to the pokecenter to heal his pokemon up, and grab the Rufflet while he was there. Then... Then he'd probably get back to training. A smirk crossed his face as he briefly entertained the idea of dropping by to visit Scarlett, as well, since she was apparently staying the night there, but ultimately he decided to get moving. It was getting dark, and late, but he could go without sleep for a while, and he didn't want to lose the opportunity to get ahead on traveling. He needed to make it out to... Opelucid, he was pretty sure, before he started hunting down trainers to battle. That was the best, relatively local location he assumed he could find strong opponents that would actually give his pokemon... Well, maybe not a challenge, per se, but it wouldn't be like knocking over twigs, at least.
And maybe he could contact Lidia. He did still have that standing agreement for her to help him train his pokemon a bit.
After a bit, he located his pokemon, smirking initially. His eyes narrowed, though, when he noticed the rather ragged appearance of Daeva. She looked worn... she was twitching... His other pokemon seemed fine but she was noticeably in worse shape. Turning a sharp, rather accusatory stare onto Meebus, he silently demanded some sort of explanation. ".... Daeva was poisoned, Zak-hav. We were just on our way to the pokecenter," the rotom lied rather smoothly.

Daeva had actually been poisoned a little while ago, but even if they had tried to take her to the pokecenter, she likely wouldn't have gone. Not even when she collapsed, and seemed to come down with some sort of... sickness. She was just getting better when Zak came into view, and pulled herself to her feet. At least she seemed to be in... slightly better condition, but it clearly wasn't up to Zak's standards.
The Russian sneered, returning Totodile and the Spiriake to their balls. "I vould have eexpected better from you," he muttered, this time turning his gaze to 'Nik. The serperior looked off to the side, evasively, and pressed his mouth shut. Like hell... but maybe he should have tried to be a bit more commanding and force Daeva to the pokecenter. That was, technically, his responsibility. He just wasn't quite accustomed to giving orders or anything yet.... and he highly doubted she would graciously accept obeying them. As their trainer turned on his heel, the two followed, watching him check his communicator in annoyance, and growl before putting it away. Once everyone was healed up at the pokecenter, he strode straight back out. It was dark, but... apparently they were making the trek to the next city.

Cheria laughed a bit. "I'll stop, but it's still funny." She didn't think Skye was serious about it, though. He seemed okay with it. Taking out her holo castor, Cheria read Marx's text, replying to it and then looking up a bit. His texts were getting kind of quick and short. Maybe she should stop texting him for awhile before he got bored or annoyed. But, texting him was fun. And, reassuring, since it meant he didn't hate her or anything. "It'd be easier to tell how to interact with him if he was a little more...normal." But, then again, it wasn't like him not being like other guys was bad. She liked that about him. Made him easier to be around.

Cheria moved away from Skye in order to train without distraction. Not that she minded distractions, but if she was too busy chatting, she'd never get to training. First, though, she had to figure out if she should switch Lupup out for someone else. He was getting up there....Maybe she would wait a little bit, let his get just a little stronger. Taking out her holo castor as it rang again, Cheria tilted her head. He battled Alexandra? Smiling, she wondered if he won.

Aw, no. The Cinccino slipped away. Cheria slumped, discouraged. That wasn't very productive. Man, and she really wanted to train up Davis and Ariel some more, too. "Oh, well....I guess there's always next time." Still, she was incredibly bumbed about it. Her holo caster beeped again and she got it out, reading Marx's text. So, he hadn't put two and two together. Cheria felt a little sorry for him. He was such a dolt. But, at least he was a nice dolt.
