As soon as they arrived a gracious and cautious teacher came over to greet them. When all was said and done yukie regrated ever thinking himself a hot shot here. The boy had so easily beaten back zorua and had he known about ghost types advantaged over normal types moves and pokemon he surely would have won the battle without question. Yukie returned Litwick and held a new sleeping Zorua in his arms as she returned back to Sakiko's side. "Well id rather not do that again."

The teacher and Sakiko stopped to watch the sport going on between Yukie and the student.. it was certainly dramatic. Yukie and the kid seemed to be having fun with this. The teacher was happy to see the students get some extra outside experience and even managed to win a battle. Not wanting to have people feel bad with newcomers around she asked Sakiko to come help her with the popsicles in exchange for a little travelers recipe book she used to keep around before she decided to be a fulltime teacher. Sakiko watched a bit longer then hurried off just as Yukie began to go downhill. She wondered if the teacher did that on purpose so she wouldn't see him lose.
the two returned with berry flavored popsicles for the kids and pokemon. Sakiko had only seen part of the battle but when she returned it seemed Yukie had turned it around.. well sortof. She scanned litwick for clues as to what kind of strategy Yukie might have used though it may have just been that he had an advantage having more pokemon.. was that how it worked?

Yukie seemed interested! He even wanted pay! She must be a fan of scientific studies too! Sakiko thought excitedly. "I'm ready.. Lets go." Sakiko took Yukies hand marched toward the marketplace ready to do some hasty shopping and get over to the ruins! She'd not realized there were such great things to go see. But then there was also this business about working on oneself and helping others become better people. Of course rock pokemon would be the norm there.. Bulbasaur was strong so that might not be an issue but she didn't really have a plan B. She wished porygon would just do as it was told but it definitely wouldn't until she got at least one badge...... maybe then she could get it to be more interested in something other than games and eating digital snacks.

╔═══════════════════════════════════════════════╗ Yukie almost unwillingly followed Sakiko from one store to the next. The list wasn't very large but it was rather costly. Luckily his card was refilled by weekly and it was almost the end of the two weeks before he'd be payed again. Five hundred dollars wasn't much considering but for himself and how cheaply he shopped it was much more then he really needed. Sakiko added to his tab though did make things more difficult in the long run. He had to buy almost everything in pares aside from the tent which he splurged on and got the largest self setting tent he could find. The whole thing could be set up and taken down just by pulling a few strings. It made setting camp on a last second notice a lot easier. On top of what the list had he also added flashlights and lanterns to his list. He did however make a personal pit stop ditching Sakiki in a clothing store while she looked at whatever it was that currently holding her attention to go to the pokemon center to heal Zo then to an electronics store. Buying a few small things he had been wanting or needing. Among which was a PsP with a small collecting of games of which he now returned to Sakiko playing. He figured he might as well enjoy himself if he was going to be stuck out on the road with a crazy lady for longer then a day or more. She didn't even seem to notice he'd left turning now to question what pokemon he had. "Well iv got two but nether are very strong yet so i doubt they'll be of any use really. I do have a Phantump but it doesn't know any grass type moves yet. But we should be fine with just my Litwick and your bulbasuare." He replied. Zo was awake now cuddled in his arms as always. "Oh whats that make me, chopped makicarp ?" Yukie scratched the pokemons head a second before answering. "You need to train more before you take on anything larger then a caterpie or weedle." The Zorua was obviously not happy with his remark pulling her head away from his affections. "Momma and dadda taught me lots, that stupid Bagon was just lucky is all." Yukie giggled slightly to himself at how headstrong the Zorua was being. she was alot like he was really. "Fine but once we get out of violet city there wont be a pokemon center for a few hours so if thing look rough im withdrawing you." "Fine, not that ill need it."
After Sakiko was done with her prsonal shopping Yukie lead the way south through the city down towards the southern gates which weren't but a mile from the ruins of alpha and their next distination.
