Flygon took off, soaring into the air, with Felix running beside him. It took him getting turned around twice, but he managed to orient himself, just as Felix was about to intervene. Santalune City, Lumoise City, and then just a few more stops, and he'd be able to meet up with his friends!

Once he had his directions, Marx picked up his pace, bolting for the route that would connect him to South Lumoise City. He knew he still had a ways to go, and boy, did he wish Flygon knew Fly, or he had another pokemon that could make the trip easier, but he was so excited to get to see his friends soon, he didn't really care. Besides, he always got more energy! Though, come to think of it... he could probably go for some food. He'd get something in the next city, and maybe that would help him keep up the pace for the rest of the trip. Just a few more check marks to go!

Theo couldn't help but feel maybe he sounded like a contradiction. He didn't see how, though. Lots of people didn't like or understand some things, but they had no problem with people who made those choices. Shaking his head, he decided to worry about how to get along with Dumuzi later, because he didn't want to end things there and go their separate ways on bad terms. Hell, he didn't want to be alone again. It was boring and difficult. If only Aston hadn't been so against the idea of Theo going on a Pokémon journey. He would like his company and advice right about now. Walking into the Pokémon Center, he went up to the counter and handed the injured Mawile fo Nurse Joy, explaining he helped her from a poacher. Afterwards, he went and sat on one of the sofa to wait for news of Mawile's condition.

Dumuzi had found the spot that they had set up a camp before and settled in once more to let his pokemon relax and get something to eat for everyone here. He had to admit that he was rather peckish himself. But first thing was first, he let Vivienne and Titania out of their balls to roam around a little bit and relax in the outdoors. Titania was quick to go over and start a conversation with Vivienne, probably to congratulate her on evolving and catching up on various pokemon-y things like that. Huh, he wondered what pokemon did talk about among themselves? Was it like human where they would talk about various thing in common, or was it like some sort of specialized world of communication that only they would know and understand, perhaps something totally alien to the human mind? Then again, Vivienne and Titania were both girls so maybe they were having some girl talk, like what pokemon boys were hot or what sort of poke-boy bands totally rocked and who they had a crush on or something? Huh, did pokemon have that sort of structure when they were out in the wild or was that something that was purely human constructed? Heehee~ Would that be interesting if Pokemon had their own version of rockstars or something like that in the wild. A buff, handsome heart-throb of a male who could boost escaping from numerous trainers and send those girl pokemon in a frenzy with nothing but a pose, or maybe even a hotty of a girl who made all the girl pokemon jealous but had all the pokemon boys eating out of the palm of her hand. Dumuzi wondered if he was starting to go insane by thinking about all of this…

Dumuzi rummaged through his pack and pulled out some potions and a few other things to help Vivienne with her wounds from the Psyduck that they had just finished off not long ago. He looked over at Viv and smiled gently. ”Okay Vivienne, let’s get those wounds healed up and then I’ll make us something to eat, okay?” Wounds took priority over an empty stomach and besides, it shouldn’t take too much to heal the wounds as it was just a scratch after all. Vivienne smiled and made her way over to where her human was with Titania not too far behind. There was an obvious comradery that was beginning between the two of them and Dumuzi was very happy about that. Vivienne invited herself on Dumuzi lap so that he could start to perform the necessary first aid to help her along. ”Okay Vivienne, this might sting a little…” Dumuzi gave the wound a spritz of potion and applied some pressure to the area of the scratch. Viv’s face scrunched up in discomfort but she toughed it out in order to get this done and out of the way. Her sour face eased a little bit as Dumuzi dabbed the area in a damp cloth, using that instead of the direct spray in order to get the wound cleaned and healed up. Dumuzi wasn’t ignorant to the differences in the comfort and repeated the former method of healing with the second potion that was used to complete the healing process. Dumuzi’s face softened and he patted the area gently with a dry cloth in order to dry it off. ”There, good as new. How do you feel Vivienne?” Dumuzi was greeted with a happy chirp and a nod of her head. Dumuzi placed a hand on her head and rubbed behind her ears gently causing the round blue pokemon to purr happily. Now all that was left was to cook the meal and eat.

Dumuzi looked over and brought out his cooking supplied and gathered the various items that he’d need to set up a little cooking spot in the designated area for the campers and the pokemon trainers. With the help from his pokemon he was able to get things ready and started for the cooking project. Dumuzi had always loved cooking and baking with his mom, it was there way of really bonding as mother and child. He used to have a problem with math and his mom used cooking to help him out with that, honestly he wasn’t sure where he would have been without that help from his mom and her cooking and baking classes that she gave him. When he was younger, he had always looked forwards to Saturdays, not just because it was the weekend and a day off from school, but because he and his mom would bake cookies that day. Cooking ended up being one of the things that helped him kick his problems in the butt, eventually, it would be him and his mom that did all the cooking in the house and during this time they would just… talk. It wasn’t usually about anything in particular, but it was a nice thing to have after a bad day, even if he couldn’t explain or put into words just what made him have such a difficult day. He supposed that it was going to be a good group of memories for him when things got rough. And he couldn’t help but wonder, if he had been born a girl if things would have been more wonderful for his mom doing that sort of thing? He supposed that there was no point in dwelling in the past and the ‘what ifs’. Though he did wonder if his mom would have preferred a daughter to do these things with or if she didn’t care? He never thought to ask his mom that question at any point. There were a few times that he asked a question like that without asking the question but… he didn’t think his mom understood the question or picked up the subtle questions that he was asking. If there was one person that he was terrified of disappointing or making upset, it would be his mom. He had a special bond with her while his brother had a stronger bond with his Dad. It was kind of an odd dynamic that they had in their household, but he supposed that’s what made them a family in the end. He pulled himself out of his thoughts and looked over at his pokemon as they gazed into the small pot that he was using to cook. ”Would you like to help me make it?” He mused, happy to see his pokemon excited at the idea of helping with what their human was doing.

Theo sat for quite awhile, and was relieved when Nurse Joy's Pokémon helpers returned with Mawile. The Fairy/Steel-type was sitting on a stretcher, looking around curiously. He wondered if maybe she didn't remember what happened, and stood to go over to her. However, Mawile looked at him and jumped off the moving bed to run over. She hugged his leg and Theo smiled a bit. Was she thanking him? Kneeling down, Theo pat Mawile's head gently."I'm glad you're alright, Mawile. You're feeling better, right?""Ma~!"

”Here, roll it in your hands like this.” Dumuzi showed her little comrades how to roll the ingredients into the little balls that would allow the pokemon to eat them comfortably, the pokemon dug into the bowl where the doughy mix and they started to try and mimic what Dumuzi was showing them with some mixed results. It may have taken a few tries and some more hands on help from Dumuzi in order to finally get it, but they were soon having just as much fun with this as Dumuzi was. Once the food was all balled up he placed them over the fire so that they could cook. It felt oddly good to do this with his pokemon, maybe this was what his mom felt when he was spending time with her and learning to cook. Now all they needed to do was wait for it to cook and then they could enjoy their food… granted, they may be enjoying it for a while, they certainly made a lot of it… Dumuzi would offer some to Theo and his pokemon if he saw them again. He also wondered how the Mawile was doing, the poor thing. He may have had his disagreements with Theo, but he also knew that Theo would be a good trainer for the pokemon to pair with. He seemed capable at least and his pokemon seemed rather happy with what little she saw of them. Looking over at the pair of pokemon that he had with him gave a rather happy sigh before turning back to his cooking, it wouldn’t be much of a celebration meal if he ended up burning it, after all.

It looked like Mawile wanted to come with Theo. Or, rather, she wanted to take him somewhere. She seemed eager to pull on his pant leg and try to lead him somewhere. As much as he wanted to go with her, he still had training to do and Pokémon to catch. Speaking of catching, Mawile didn't want to join his team. He asked, but she declined. It was understandable. If her previous trainer had been attacked and maybe even killed by that poacher....Well, she was fine with traveling with him anyway, and that was good enough. Dumuzi retrieved the groups little celebratory meal off the heat, knowing that they were done and almost ready to be consumed, all that was left to do was to let them cool for a moment. He looked around and noticed that his pokemon were looking very eager to get into that cooking, and to be honest he was looking forwards to it as well. He could feel his stomach growl a little in protest but restrained himself from doing anything more than to see if the fruit dumplings were cool enough to handle and eat. After a couple of minutes, Dumuzi was able to place the fruit dumplings in a container and lowered them down to his pokemon friends who were very eager to take up the food they had helped make and start in on eating their own creations. Dumuzi watched as the pair took their first bites and chewed for a few moments. Both stop, frozen for a moment before the joy that filled their mouths hit their brain and the squealing sounds of two girls filled the immediate area. Dumuzi giggled and took up his own Fruit Dumpling and started to eat along with his pokemon. He hadn’t had them in a really long time, he had forgotten how good it tasted… and how filling they were! After only a couple of dumplings, him and his pokemon where looking satisfyingly full. They still had a lot left, and Dumuzi packed them up and saved the rest for later. Dumuzi leaned back against his tree and took out his sketch book, his girls had found a comfy spot near him to take a quick nap. Dumuzi mused a little bit and snuggled down, soon they would go and hunt for more pokemon but he didn’t see any reason he couldn’t deny his pokemon a quick rest to allow them to get their strength back up.

Santalune City was still a beautiful place to look at. Kalos itself was wonderful. Maybe it was because she was a Kalosian that Cheria thought that way, but nonetheless, it was true. And, housing the first gym of the Kalos region certainly added to it's popular. She wanted to try challenging Viola, but knew it would be very risky at this time. Not to mention time consuming. Cheria tilted her head a bit before looking over to see Sheena jump into her bag and pull out the PokéDex. Kneeling, Cheria gently took it from the Froakie and scanned the odd Pokémon. "Lupup, the Changeling Pokémon. Lupup is often taken in by other Pokémon, having no family of its own. It picks up the traits of the Pokémon it has been raised by." So, it was a...foster family Pokémon? That was interesting. "Lupup, huh? I've never heard of your kind of Pokémon before. It says you're a Dragon/Fairy dual type. Not much else, though....But, more importantly, are you lost or hurt? I saw you back in Littleroot, you know.""Lu." What was it saying? Cheria didn't understand. But, Sheena did, and the Froakie tugged Cheria's sleeve before pointing to the Poké Balls. "This?...Oh! You want to come with--" Lupup didn't wait. He actually seemed to ignore her as he jumped up and touched the button with his nose. Something about Lupup just seemed...very odd. Like it was only coming with her to help itself. Was he in some sort of trouble?

Cheria clipped Lupup's ball with the other five, still curious about Lupup's behavior. It was just so odd. Was that individual behavior, or was it learned from whatever Pokémon adopted him? And, what was a Lupup anyway? She had questions she needed answered. Her holo caster beeped again and Cheria answered. Her dad. He told her he couldn't wait to see her, and that he'd be happy to help with her holo caster. Not that he could fix it, but he could still take a look at it. In that case, she had to get to Lumiose even quicker.

Dumuzi worked on his portraits of his pokemon, he even made a quick sketch of his two pokemon sleeping together before he continued on some of his previous work and finish off the first of his sketches. The quiet of the day and the soft, gentle snores of his pokemon were creating just the right atmosphere to lull Dumuzi into a tranquil meditative state while he was working on his sketch, if there was one thing that he loved, it was drawing. He was very much a creative soul and it really reflected in his nature as a person. He had always found that the pencil and paper were the best ways for him to convey things where his words failed. He enjoyed putting his rich fantasy life on paper and daydream the adventure while he was doing it. Most of his sketch books were full of fairy pokemon and… Feya, or some other female and perhaps another person to accompany her, most people took this as something of young boy being a slave to his hormones, but in reality it was something that he had that was between envy and wishful thinking when he put these images down on paper. He wished he could emulate the femininity of Feya, be her even if it was just for a while, but at the same time he was afraid of what his family, friend and society at large would think of him and what it could mean for him. He knew that his dad was someone who didn’t… well, he didn’t think highly of people like that. His mom seemed neutral if uncaring about it, but then again, she had never seen her little boy present like that either.
