Avalas was relieved when Corsaire giggle at Wyrm, it could be a bit invasive. He would know since the thing followed him around everywhere. He despised it at first but he has grown fond of him.
What she said next had to sink in a little bit, he honestly didn't know what to think. But his heart does, She is a wonder, he thought. To have a mind so adventurous, it was a shame she did not have wings.... if only he could give them to her.
What he said next surprised even him "Why don't you come look at some of the things that I have collected? I may have something that could get this airship of yours off the ground" He was hoping this airship was real, he did not want to make her feel embarrassed.
He took a bite out of the cookies she suggested earlier "Vhese ARE dericioush!" He says through a mouthful. He had totally forgot he was even at a party, which suited him just fine, he was just happy spending his time with Corsaire, a mystery that she is.

Veronin chuckled at Quinn, while he doesn't share as much distaste for the social gathering as his friend, he does agree that no good will come of it. He notices a dragon wini and a koi female conversing over by the food table. "There must be some food left.... I just seen the green dragon over there stuff his face with a cookie" He turns to his friend again "maybe I will fling some of it"
Veronin face lit up when Quinn asked the question of chaos. "Oh, that is absolutely mischievous, I love it" He peered over on the wall. "It looks like there is a fire alarm over on the wall... We could also pull that for a more dramatic effect. Don't suppose there a sprinklers in here too?"
He began to make his way into the crowd, trying not to bump into the rain dancing demons "Best not look suspicious" He chuckled out loud "If there are sprinklers, it would definantly add meaning to their 'Rain dancing'"
Corsaire was encouraged when he continued to talk to her and didn't make excuses to get away. He was actually interested in her airship! she thought. Well, ship, anyways. Most adults thought she was too old to dress up and play at pretend adventures. This winged guy was interesting to talk to and he didn't make fun of her. This partying thing might be something she should explore again.
"It's pretty heavy, made of wood and all." she said. "It would need a really.. really.. big balloon to get it off the ground." To go up in a real airship would be a dream come true, she thought. "Do you have anything like that?"
She giggled at him when he stuffed a paw full of cookies into his mouth. "Oh, I'm glad you liked them!" Corsaire glanced at the refreshment table. Much of the displayed food had been demolished by the hungry party goers. "I think there's more desserts that haven't been squashed or thrown on the floor." She reached over the table and grabbed some pastry horns with cream stuffed inside. "These look good!" She offered one to Avalas as she bit into the one she held in her other paw.

Not having gotten a response from discordare about the plan, Pyrrhos had decided to simply start on his own, and see if the other male would simply join in later. he had started by mostly clearing one of the table of drinks cups, and slowly pushing it over a few inches at a time untill the table overlapped with the entrance.
he needed more, one table would not slow the other demons down much, he quickly started on a second one. and added some chairs he had found, and put some heavy stuff on the table. "Well that will have to do for now" he mumbled to himself.
Looking around for the light switch, pyrrhos noticed a purple patterned demon pointing her claw at him, had his plan been noticed? he gave the female his most winning smile as he casually walked over to the wall near the switch.
Leilani had finally managed to scramble off the floor, hoping no one had seen her embarasing display she simply wandered away from the food table. It felt late, midnight had to be getting near, maybe she should go get some fresh ...... air....
as she turned towards where she thought the door would be she saw Pyrrhos, who was obviously up to something near the tables, her woozy mind formed the thought that he was doing something bad, she had to find the Lady who had started the party ..... Lala she had to warn her of Pyrrhos!
"Has anyone seen Lala?!" Leilani called out to anyone who might be somewhere near her.
As Zessie tried to dodge the creampuff,and flew off across the dancefloor, Fauve followed him quickly to make sure he would not hit something hard again. as he landed hard on the floor, she reached out to help him up again. "Yeah I have to get the recipe for the drinks, they seem to work maybe even slightly to well" she smiled "would you maybe like to go and try the snacks for a bit?" she asked Zessie.
Finally Pyrrhos got to the light switch, Snickering to himself he looked around one more time............. before throwing the switch. He could not wait for the darkness and chaos to start!!!

Discordare, He is still welcome to join in the plan
Discordare nodded before watching the other male, he smirked as he slipped over as well. He looked around and mentally counted down till the lights went out. Snickering when they did so...then cringing when he heard Thane from across the room...."Oh...what the crap?!?"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The small wini had started to sip at a drink before the lights went out. He blinked and for all of three seconds didn't know before a name popped into his head, "DISCORDARE!!!!!!!!!!"
Oh he just knew that guy had a hand in this....
Glancing in the direction that Veronin was looking, Quinn saw the dragon demon being offered more desserts by one of his own clan. "I don't know the green male, but the female he's associating with is one of the newer of my bonded's callings," he said. "I rather thought her a little young to attend one of these 'whatever-happens-at-the party, stays-at-the-party' shindigs." He shook his head. "Oh well, I guess you have to make your own mistakes." After that, he didn't give the young female another thought. After all, it wasn't his responsibility to watch over the newcomers.
Before he could compliment his friend on his fine idea of pulling the fire alarm, the lights went out. "I knew it was getting close to midnight," Quinn said to Veronin, who he barely see the shape of in the dark, "but I thought we still had some time left." Not knowing that the lack of light was due to a party-goer's prank, Quinn said in a loud voice, "Happy New year! The fireworks should be starting soon!"
Zessie was thankful for the demon winiko's assistance, taking her paw and pushing himself to stand up. He nearly feel back over again but managed not to.
"Yeah...they do pack quite a punch - 'hic'" Smiling back, he nodded to her suggestion. "Snacks would be great."
The bell tolled midnight!
Fireworks sprang into the sky lighting the outdoors like daytime.
Flashes of light from the pyrotechnic bursts streamed through the window's occasionally spotlighting the party-goers inside.
Zillah sniffed and tossed her head at the big golden fellow Corina warned her against - he didn't really seem her 'type' anyway (did she even have a type yet?) "Not to worry, he looks as stuffy as my dad." Before Zillah could do much more in the way of character assassination, Kiyan bounded up and took her attention with her high-energy and pretty strangeness.
"Hii! Yeah, we were looking. I've never met a Wraik before! You are so interesting! The circus? Was it fun? What do you do?" She shot questions rapid-fire until her father put a claw up to silence her briefly, during which time her attention returned to Phyrros, catching his winning smile and flicking her tail in a most interested way (that Selark would not approve of had he seen it) while grinning and winking back at him. Oh yes, he was getting into trouble! Wonderful!
Zillah decided to pretend she'd seen nothing, so that Phyrros could mess with the switch, though she kept one eye on him and couldn't help but dance around on her claws.
Selark swallowed his creampuff quickly so that he could greet Kiyan properly, "Pleased to meet you." He missed the other Wraik and the wall-switch, far more interested in speaking with the young blue Wraik. "Am I to understand that you were a plushie until recent--"
The lights went out and the purple-and-gold koi Winiko jerked his head back in surprise, bumping into his excitedly bouncing daughter and causing her to slash out with claws. "Zillah!" he knew it had been her due to the slight ruby glow that came from her eyes...just as she had to have known it was him because none of their companions had been koi.
"I had nothing to do with it!" But she was giggling and jumping up and down; somewhere in the darkness a masculine voice boomed out about fireworks and shortly after they could hear the sounds of said fireworks going off. Whether that was part of the Wraik's plan she didn't know, but it was awesome. "Three cheers for darkness!"
"Happy New Years, everyone. Perhaps we should try carefully heading out to see the fireworks?" Carefully as most of them were at varying levels of inebriation (himself included) and he really didn't want to....something. That last cup of punch really was going to his head, drat it all.
