It was amazing how people would follow the first person to make a decision. Oberon stopped to glance back when he heard a woman’s voice, and made an exasperated face as people seemed to be following them towards the forest. Did they even know why he was heading that way? Did they even care? Probably not.
Oberon clutched at his arm as he glanced up at the knight suspiciously. “Sorry, my mom doesn’t really know about the whole Chaos thing, so no, she didn’t teach me that,” he sassed, already irritated by her use of “kid” to address him.
While he thought the offer was nice, he didn’t want anyone to think that he couldn’t take care of himself. The offer for healing tea was tempting, but he stubbornly squatted down at the base of a tree to dig up some dirt and press a handful of it against his burned arm.
When everyone else started running towards some kind of strange disturbance, Oberon glanced up in confusion, before shaking his head and going back to what he was doing. He wasn't in the best of spirits tonight, but it also didn't help that he was in pain.

Squire Palatine – 126 HP “It was a rhetorical question,” Palatine said. She frowned at Oberon, propping one of her hands onto her hip.
It wasn't in her nature to be maternal. She'd tried that before, and while she'd been alright at it, it wasn't really her. At least, not anymore. Even so, she still had her instincts, as well as a very strong sense of responsibility, and both were telling her she couldn't just leave Oberon alone.
He might be fourteen, and heading into that stage in life where he thought he could do everything on his own (if he hadn't reached that stage already), but, despite what he wanted to think, he was still just a kid, and no kid should be expected to handle this sort of thing. It was, after all, a war. What was the cosmos thinking when it made child soldiers?
“Look, I'm not trying to patronize you...”
Palatine had this whole speech planned about how she was sure he was a badass, and that the things he'd learned as a boy scout probably did come in handy more often than not, just to give him a little pep talk and try to get him into a better mood, but heading toward the disturbance brought them closer to unfamiliar voices and approaching foot steps and cut that plan dramatically short.
And then it started to rain.
“Damn it, okay, listen, just give me your arm for a sec and I can heal it a little. We've got company and you're going to need more than dirt on your wounds if you want to go back to kicking a**.”
She didn't give him the chance to argue, squatting down beside Oberon and grabbing onto his arm to pull it towards her. She tipped her teapot over it and warm tea streamed out onto his injuries.

[[ Bifrost Squire -- 132 HP ]]
The defiled griffon exploded into dust. She was rather displeased the youma decided to take on the form of her prized mythological animal but the darkness touched all, it seemed. Not even roleplay characters were safe from Chaos. She dusted off her pants and turned to the rest of the group.
To the forest it was! In the dark.
Then to the disturbance which sounded like people grunting at each other. Wait. Grunting? No Bifrost that's the wrong verb. Talking, yes talking was the thing they were doing. It was also getting dark.
And rain.
Bifrost sighed and pulled up her hood, tucking her blonde hair behind her ears. Well at least she wouldn't get completely soaked... yet. Yet. It would happen. Mud too. She fluffed her shoulders.
Wonderful.

[SORRY I UH GOT SOME CALLS AND SOME OPPORTUNITIES SO HERE YOU GO--] Two Lieutenants emerge from the darkness of the forest and stop in place. The taller of the two, Lieutenant Cullite, dangles a no-longer-sticky sticky hand from his... hands. And his companion, Lieutenant Sertite, has knotted a hand into the fur of a massive wolflike youma. Her weapon is not immediately apparent. "That's... that's unfortunate, that is," says Sertite. "I mean... that you guys are... here." Behind the Lieutenant pair, something moss-covered and horsey whickers softly. "Yeah," Sertite says. "I heard about the asskicking. There's... way more officers here than there are you guys. Have you seen Cipritine?" Wolf Youma Gevaudan [50HP] Kelpie Youma Cookie [50HP] Lieutenant Sertite [100HP] Lieutenant Cullite [100HP] You may begin to roll damage if you choose to attack!

Eternal Sailor Chariklo - 177HP: Targeting Wolf Youma Gevaudan for 17 Damage.
The darker it got, the more grateful Chariklo was to Tantalus' lantern. It was just a pity it couldn't do anything about the damned rain. As far as she could tell, England was earning it's stereotype as a cold, grey, forever wet country. Chunnering under her breath, she plodded along, pausing only when she heard voices and the snapping of twigs.
Soon enough, they were face to face with a small party. Eyes snapping between the sticky hand and the faces of the officers, Chariklo felt a wild, mean grin stretching her lips.
"Oh, poor babies," she cooed. "You're so lost. You should have been good little kids and joined the right side instead of these assbags."
The idea of beating down a poor baby officer made her feel faintly sick. Thankfully, there were youma around and those she could happily destroy all the damn live-long day. Launching herself towards the wolf, she pulled her arm back as far as it could go before lashing out and aiming a punch for the spot directly between the wolf's eyes.

Oberon let out a distressed cry of surprise as Palatine grabbed hold of his arm to pour the tea on it, having accidentally grabbed part of his arm that was burned. “Hey, ow!” he whimpered, pulling his arm away as soon as she was done dumping her tea onto it. Surprisingly, it did start to feel better. Some of the redness even started disappearing and Oberon stared in awe as the remnants of the tea dripped off his arm. “Wow…” he breathed, glancing up at Palatine with surprise.
He didn’t have any opportunity to thank her, because sure enough there were a couple negaverse officers and their youma snooping about. What were they even doing there, and as another voice spoke up, Oberon realized for the first time that evening that there were other Chaotic beings with them! He gaped at the Eternal Senshi (Chariklo) unsure of what he was seeing even though he could feel the Chaos emanating from her. And another one, in red (Tantalus) who was with her. Were there more??
“Why are there Dark Mirror Senshi here?” he sputtered quietly up at the knight in pink (Palatine). Not that it really mattered as long as they were there to help them. It was just… surprising… Everything he’s heard of them, he couldn’t help but be a little suspicious.
And yet there was something about them… maybe even these two in particular. Oberon winced and brought a hand to his head as if it suddenly started hurting, but strange images crossed through his memory of a time when he was… older? But that wasn’t right…
Brushing it off as if his imagination was just going wild, he pushed himself from the ground. “Not right now there isn’t!” Oberon called back at the Lieutenant’s comment about there being more officers there. “You better go get reinforcements, because I’ll be the one kicking your a**! Just think about how embarrassing it'll be to get beat up by a kid!” Hopefully there would be people who'd have his back if the officers didn't fall for his bluff...

Squire Palatine – 126 HP – Targetting Wolf Youma Gevaudan for 4 damage! Palatine didn't apologize for grabbing onto Oberon's arm so suddenly, or irritating his already irritated skin. The wounds looked better after the tea did its work, after all.
“How the hell should I know?” she said. She stood back up and dismissed her teapot back to subspace. It wouldn't help during battle.
She made another careful perusal of the Dark Mirror Senshi that joined them, but knew nothing more about them or why they were fighting on their side than Oberon did. Palatine couldn't pretend to understand the subtle intricacies of this war, being that she spent so much time not taking part in it. Youma were fine; she didn't mind hunting after those, but she made it a point to avoid the people at the heart of the war.
Palatine couldn't avoid them this time. Well... she could. She didn't have to attack either of the two Lieutenants that arrived on the scene. But they were there and she was aware of them and that was bad enough to her.
She rolled her eyes, then rolled her shoulders and her neck. She jumped up and down a few times and shook out her arms like she was trying to relieve some tension before getting back to business.
“Less talking, more a**-kicking, kid,” she told Oberon.
She picked up a sizable branch and wielded it like a sword as she struck out at the wolf-like youma.

Sailor Phact stood back from the group that was suddenly going in swinging at the four new arrivals. One hand came up and smacked herself in the forehead. "Everyone around here is hot heads..." She mumbled as she watched the knights and a senshi go in for the attack.
"Seems no one wants to know what is going on. Isn't that how this entire mess started in the first place?" Phact groaned as she looked towards the two nega agents.
"That's nice. Who is Cipritine?" She finally asked and once more made sure to keep her own distance between herself and the attacking ones. She was in no mood to die without answers.

Page Ba Sing Sei - 85HPBa Sing Sei was, himself, not a "hot-head" as the one girl had mumbled to herself. He held his cabbage up as though that were some sort of sign of peace -- really, it wasn't like he had a white flag. It was a battlefield, had to make due with what he had. He stepped forward, mindful of his own allies' attacks, and winced to himself. "Can we just think about this for a second?" No one would listen, he assumed. Rightly or wrongly, who yet knew. "Why is it unfortunate that we're here? - you could always pretend you didn't see us, right? I mean -- " He motioned back. "Did you see what we did back there? Is we can take down that many youma without losing any of our own, what's that say for you?" Except his allies (sort of) were already attacking (definitely), so this was probably a waste of time but -- "You've had a sample of how strong we are, so... Talk!"
