_✚Abryon arrived before Dameon, seeing how his 3 sets of wings allowed for faster flight instead of a mist form. Upon arrival he entered the throne room only to find massacred guards and blood everywhere. Snapping his fingers he ordered the mess to be removed before Lucian returns. As they worked Abryon fashioned a chair out of hellfire and sat as he pondered the millions of questions he had for his master.✚

Lucian  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A black cloud flew into the throne room, filling every corner of the room and surveying every aspect of what had happened in the throne room before the cloud condensed into the King Of The Mountain. Abryon's men had not exactly worked fast enough. Sword was not Lucian's concern though. From the thoughts in his son's memory Sword relied heavily on his powers, without them Sword was nothing more than another ant to burn. Lucian's real problem came in the form of his son who had escaped the dungeon. That thought plagued Lucian. His son was back out in the world and out in danger again all so that he could try and kill his father. If only Nine understood why Lucian was doing these things. Disregarding his dark train of thought Lucian nodded to Abryon and then ascended to his throne. As he spoke Lucian sat down. "Is something wrong Abryon? You're a little more formal then usual."

_✚Abryon took note of Lucian's presence and nodded. Hearing the man's inquiry Abryon tried his best not to let his boiling anger get the better of him. Without looking at Lucian he answered. I have never questioned you or the way you rule. Your methods may be unorthodox but they are needed in order to bring much needed peace. In order to create something new one must destroy what already exist is how many will see your philosophy. Though through all my loyalty one thing bothers me..... He stood from his seat and slowly approached his master, leaving violet flaming footprints in the ground. His anger was at its limits from al that he has absorbed. WHY?! WHY GIVE THAT SNAKE OF A b***h POWER, LAND, TROOPS?! You looked through all of her memories so I'm certain that you saw what she did to my people. Tears begin to run down his face in pure rage. THE MOMENT YOU GAVE THAT b***h ANYTHING BUT DEATH WAS THE MOMENT OU BETRAYED THE TRUST I PUT IN YOU. NOW THAT VILE WOMEN SITS ON HER THRONE IN THE DOMA. YOU MAY HAVE SAPPED HER OF HER POWERS BUT THAT WITCH IS CRAFTIER THAN MOST. YOU SHOULD HAVE LET ME RUN HER THROUGH WHEN I HAD THE CHANCE. SO TELL ME MASTER WHAT WORDS COULD YOU POSSIBLY SAY TO JUSTIFY THIS CLEAR SIGN OFF DISRESPECT? I GAVE UP MY HUMANITY BECAUSE I BELIEVED THAT YOU COULD ACTUALLY BE TRUSTED. Guards flood the throne room and try to restrain him. In a single pulse Abryon disables all of them, his aura coursing around him like fire, causing the marble steps leading to Lucian's throne to crack.✚

Lucian sat unmoving and unresponsive to Abryon's shouting and surges of power. When it was clear the guards wouldn't be able to do anything Lucian expelled them from the throne room with a simple wave. The guards nodded and each one left the room until only Abryon and Lucian stood in the vast space. Lucian tilted his head slightly and when he did his neck cracked. Then Lucian stood from his throne and walked down the steps, speaking in a calm tone. "You have put you're faith in me thus far and now dare to question my actions? Do you believe I would allow Gyokuen any land, and power? I have taken steps to ensure her death. I have sent Kouen, a man who seeks my demise to kill her. You know why I made that compromise? Do you know why I am allowing Kouen to take the Doma and kill her?" It was when Lucian had reached the last step to his throne that his voice raised. He was not yelling but it projected immense power throughout the throne room. A crushing and debilitating power that carried on his words alone. "I am doing this for you. I would have preferred to let her rot in the dungeon! I know what she has done and I know why you want her dead but I can not execute her without loosing the support of those who loved her! So I put a limit on her powers and sent her to a land where she would be butchered! I will not have soldier's like you questioning my motives! I promised you the Zaibatsu, I promised you power and I have given you both. How dare you question me!"

_✚Abryon was shocked when Lucian matched him in tone. His shock quickly turned back to anger. Bella & I were there when you first took the Doma, began your campaign for absolute peace. We have been here from the very beginning so I think that at least grants us the chance to question you Master. I'll do anything you ask, even if it means going as far as Bella Dona has for you, hehehe. But my Arch-Devil pride wont allow me to just blindly follow. I have every right to question the entity that I helped build a kingdom for, especially if he is a man of his word and refuses to lie to those that serve him. Abryon paced in front of Lucian then stopped and slightly turned his head to the man. I admit I may have been emotional a moment ago but a lot of things have been pooling in my head and I find it hard to really trust you. You have had all who serve you under go missions to show their loyalty for you... He points his right hand at his beloved master. But if I had a test of trust for you would you be willing to accept it? His eyes surge with demonic power as he awaits his master's reply✚

 Dameon stood outside of the throne room with a frown. He had returned to find His wife missing from the dungeon and frankly it was unnerving in how insecure the dungeon seemed to be. There had been no signs of struggle and the guard detail was nonexistent as most had been recalled for war.
He entered just as Lucian finished speaking and stood back for a bit as he waited for things to cool down. He found it odd that Abryon, a man who was practically Lucian's lapdog, was being scolded. Though he said nothing as he kept his gaze firmly upon Lucian as he stood off to the side to wait to give his report about his success at the Zaibatsu and the most likely already known fact that Nine had escaped and possibly with help. Dameon had no true proof that the man had help but the reanimated guard had spoke as if there had been a small well trained task force. He still had the shard of glass that had been used to fatally wound one of the guards on him. It reminded the ancient man that he was partially to blame and he would be the first to admit that.
His thoughts once again lingered upon the fact that his wife had somehow either broke out or was taken out.

I alone reserve that right." With that Lucian's tone returned to normal. He walked back up to his throne and took his seat once more. "I am a king who seeks to change the face of the world. It will never be easy to know my intent. But you must trust that I will never betray those who serve me. Alas you wish to test me, so tell me Arch-Devil, what is your request?"

_✚Abryon smiled. This is true master, and I apologize for my outrage. Though its not uncommon for subordinates to speak out against their rulers. You are a man that is not easy to read. My request is simple. They say you can learn a lot about a person through how they fight. For me to rule the Zaibatsu lands and have complete utter faith in you, allow me the honor of seeing who you are with my blades. No powers, just swordplay. He shot Dameon who had been watching a sly look before continuing. I guarantee I'll be more of a worthy challenge than that utter disgrace of a King Eon. I'm no greenhorn. He unsheathed Armageddon & Apocalypse and points Armageddon in his master's direction. This is my request, you grant me this and I'll will be satisfied, my questions laid to rest.

Lucian sat quietly pondering Abryon's request, it was far more than reasonable and despite the man's recent outburst Lucian had no reason to deny the request. However Dameon was here and clearly wished to speak with Lucian. After a few moments the King spoke. "There is an Arena on the eastern side of the mountain. Wait for me there and I shall grant your request. However I must first speak with Dameon." that was Lucian's only offer. If Abryon declined, Lucian would not duel him. Having spoken, Lucian turned his head and looked at Dameon.

Had he heard right? Lucian was going to duel Abryon? Oh he would have to watch that. With Lucian gave him his full attention Dameon stepped forward.
"The Zaibatsu is ours. Though I allowed their remaining fighters to retreat as I have no doubts that a rebellion will be formed once things settle down. We can use them to lead us right to it. It has also come to my attention that Nine, as you probably know by now has escaped the dungeons as well as my most recent prisoner, my wife. How she escaped I do not know, but I have reason to believe Nine escaped with some assistance. My only proof is the report of a reanimated soldier whose memories were not all there but how he spoke made it sound as if a small task force infiltrated the dungeon and freed him." He said as he crossed his arms before continuing, "I also believe it is partially my fault Nine escaped." he said as pulled out a broken shard of glass, the blood long since dried on it before flicking to Lucian's feet where it embedded into the ground slightly.
"Also, as I mentioned before, I recently brought in a prisoner, my wife, into the dungeon before returning to the battle but now she is gone and I wanted to ask if you knew anything of it." He needed to rule out the possibility that she had been taken out by guards or by Lucian's orders.

_✚Abryon had a demonic grin on his face. You have no idea how much you just appeased your Arch-Devil master. Turning his head to Dameon. I too am curious to hear the Valarian Commander's report. Come Dameon, sit and debrief us on the success of your ghoulish warriors. He summons his chair beneath him and makes one that would most represent Dameon, seeing how much Abryon knows about the mysterious relic of a man. He smiles at Dameon in a friendly manner as Armageddon & Apocalypse float around him.

Despite what Dameon may have expected Lucian did not display rage or any anger when it was revealed that Dameon contributed to Nine's escape. The king let out a sigh and nodded slightly. "I am unaware of your wife's location, you can go to my spymaster and have him begin a search. I was away when you brought your wife here and evidently I was still away when she escaped." Lucian shifted slightly in his chair. "As for my son, and how you may have contributed to his escape. Many died, and I don't want to hold you responsible, but I can not simply forget that you may have triggered everything. As punishment, I decree that you shall go to the families of each guard killed and inform them what has happened. I want you to see the look in their eyes when they hear so you can know the pain I am trying to bring an end to. Then you shall make funeral arrangements for the men and only then will I be able to move past these events. " Lucian shifted again, drumming his fingers on the hilt of a sword which formed one of the throne's armrests. He thought quietly for a few seconds then spoke. "As the new leader oft he Zaibatsu, Abryon, it will be your duty to quell any rebellion. We can't have war and preach that we seek peace."

"I do not trust your spymaster enough to handle such a delicate situation. He may be your grandson but that does not mean I trust him." Dameon said as the thoughts of the shifty spymaster entered his head. No he did not trust Eleven. Then again Dameon wasn't one to put his trust in anyone. Not anymore. Too many times had he suffered betrayal, too many times had he felt the pain of having that trust betrayed and used against him. No, he trusted no one but himself.
"But I will follow through with this punishment you have assigned me. Though, I feel that perhaps you should look to Eleven as well. I found him in the dungeons just outside the runes effective range when I returned with my prisoner. I nearly mistook him for Nine when I found him." He chuckled at that thought. "Perhaps he knows more. Though again, I don't trust him." Dameon had no desire to cause a rift between his colleagues but something about Eleven rubbed him the wrong way and Dameon always trusted his gut instincts as they had never lead him astray. But alas he could not dwell on such thoughts. He had to replenish his undead army with new bodies. And there just so happened to be an abundance of them waiting for him.
