Judas shoved down his embarrassment from his bad first try at this by realizing.... no one probably cared. An he also had thought it kind-of fun. He borrowed another hobby-horse and went off around the course.

Today Sludge's ability to ride his hobby stick had improved tremendously, so much that he was hopping about like he had know what he was doing all along.

He still felt a little silly however.

"Nicely done!" Leo gave the boil with the shy smile a thumbs up and a grin before handing over his prize. "And here you go, one ticket!"



It was a shame that some creeple just didn't see the fun in hobby horse handling, but there was nothing she could do for that. With a nod and a smile, Leo handed the other ghoul her carnival ticket, "neatly done! Here's your prize."



Leo gave the boil an admiring stare and his prizes. "Beautiful work, just beautiful."



"Hey! Welcome back!" Leo waved at her return customer with a grin, before settling in to watch him as he did the course again today.

And today was the day, it seemed. "Alright!" She hooted and hollered, giving him a big applause as he finished, "that was amazing! You really got it right in one this time. One well earned carnival ticket and minipet coming up!" With a beam and an enthusiastic thumbs up, she handed over his bounty.



"That... that's the best I've ever seen anyone do!" Leo's voice was a bit shaky and her glance at the demon boil was utterly star-struck. "You're truly a hobby horse master!" She handed over the minipet and the carnival ticket that was his prize with equally shaky hands and a happy beam on her face.



"Lovely! You've got a real flair for this," Leo said with a grin and a clap on the other ghoul's back. "Right, here's your ticket, hope you enjoyed the race course!"


"You're turning out great at this!" Leo gave the boil a hearty clap on the shoulder, "and here's the bounty - one minipet and carnival ticket for your impressive efforts!"



"Nicely done! See, all it takes is a bit of practice and hard work and you'll be a pro at this in no time!" Leo gave the boil a thumbs up and an encouraging grin before handing over his prize.



"Lovely hobby horse handling, just lovely! Here's your ticket, thank you for playing!" Leo beamed and handed over the prize.



"That was great! You've really improved, that's awesome to see!" Leo gave the boil a strong clap on the back, and handed over his spoils. "And here you go, one minipet and carnival ticket for you!"

Judas decided to try out the reddish-brown hobby today. He stuck the cowboil hat on his head and took a deep breath, then was off! He did his best, but he guessed it wasn't good enough. It couldn't have been the worst though, the booth ghoul looked like she was being encouraging.

Awkward was probably a kind way to describe the Great Moth's way of handling the hobby horse. It was clear that he had no idea what to do, even if willing to give it a wild go. He seemed to enjoy the hat, at least... If that counted for anything.

Shiki took the pro-offered hobby horse and took a sharp breath, racing down the course with it vowing to not fall today. Maybe that was the problem though, the more he told himself not to fall, the more he did. Tripping over the stick he face planted rather solidly.

"Well I'll try this again, if you don't mind?" Judas figured he would never get better if he didn't keep trying. The hobby he snagged was plain brown today, but the hat was different, black and white spotted. He continued to assume the course could not be done without the hat and stuck it firmly on his head.
"Here we go!" And he was off, negotiating obstacles like a pro. He was grinning by the time he finished.

This booth was definitely acquiring a place near and dear to him, and there was only a small bit of embarrassment in the way Arrakis looked around as he stepped up to claim his borrowed hobbyhorse and hat. He waved to the ghoul with a grin, put on the hat, and walked to the starting line with his hobbyhorse. This was honestly pretty great.

Okay, so he managed to stumble and fall as he made his way through the course. That was pretty embarrassing, but he couldn't help starting to laugh as he pried himself up out of the dirt and dusted himself off. Dusting the hobbyhorse and hat off as he walked to return them, he was still chuckling as he turned them back over, red-faced though he was. "Sorry about that. I'll try not to fall down if I come back through again!"

Fall or no, this booth was still pretty great.
