"I have this bad feeling in the pit of my stomach." It was probably nothing but still. She hoped they didn't think they could take her town away from her. She'd been taking care of it this whole time after all.
"As for their rights, they are no more or less an owner than me. I've seen the documents after all. The town was given to the daughter/s of my father."

Leticia furrowed her brows, trying to figure out what exactly didn't sit right with Okami. Something must have happened at the ball for her to not like her sisters. Okami's sisters could have rubbed her the wrong way, she couldn't figure it out. Leti had never seen the infamous Wilde twins, so she was useless. However, she was a big believer in gut feelings, so if Okami didn't feel right about her sisters, even if it was just one of them, she'd support her. "If your gut is tellin' you somethin's off, then it's off. Don't doubt yourself," she said. Whatever it was, Leti just hoped she could be of some help.
As for the legal jargon, Leticia was no help in that aspect, whether it's friendly advice or legal advice. After all, she majored in medical biology and herbology, not law. "Then you definitely need to talk to your sisters, Okami." Things would turn bad if she didn't talk to the twins soon. "Whatever documents exist, I don't know what will happen to them in this town. It's magical, right? I remembered that big ol' mansion of theirs was fixed right up after that dragon smashed into it. They could change the wording before you even knew it." Everything she said just came out as she thought it, though it could mostly be her overactive imagination from watching too many crime t.v. shows.

______________________________________ "I will talk to them, don't worry." She promised whole heartedly. "Let's just drop it for now though. After that party they probably need a break, and I'm sure whoever forged the original documents must have put a protective charm along with my father." Okami hoped that was true.
She appreciated that Leticia trusted her gut feeling. Sure Leticia didn't seem magical or 'special' from the traditional Kuro Shiro standpoint, but she had a feeling that maybe that was why Leticia was here. If she didn't turn into something during her stay, she was a perfect example of how normal humans often didn't belong in the outside world either.
"Let's go to the bar, my treat. What do you say?"

Leticia nodded and dropped the subject as Okami asked. If she didn't want to talk 'bout it no more, then she wouldn't make a peep of it. As it were, talking 'bout it more would cause unwanted strain on Okami and on their friendship as it were. And, in the end, Leti trusted Okami to make the right decision regarding her sisters and the town. She may not understand it at all, but she trusted her friend.
Besides, Leti just couldn't turn down an invitation to drink, especially when it was on somebody else. "Alright, but I ain't drinking too much. I got some waitressin' to do later. Can't show up drunk," she said as she gently hip-checked the blue-haired girl, a playful grin on her face. "So, which of the amazin' selections of bars are were goin' to?" she asked, and by amazing, she meant limited. Few places acted as bars and just as few sold alcohol. The grocery store didn't sell booze, but Cross Roads Bar and Anything Is Fine did, along with the fancier restaurants.

There was nothing like a few drinks to loosen you up, or too many to make you throw up. There was a fine line between the two.[exit to crossroads]

Leticia grinned as she enjoyed listening to Okami list of a couple of the drinks at Cross Roads. Walking side-by-side with her friend, the young woman thought of how her luck was changing in this town. "Either one sounds good," she said as she entered the bar. She couldn't remember the last time she had a few good drinks, so this treat was something special.

______________________________________ "There, it is nice to get out some isn't it?" Sol Estrella said once he saw her take a deep breath. He seemed to happily light up the area around them. Luna Estrella looked over to her brother as he spoke. Yes it did feel good to be back outside but she found herself wondering how she'd handle if she wasn't tied to her brother at the hip.

[enter Angelo] Long step after long step, Angelo Astra rolled into the town square like a fog rolls in across a lake. His hood shrouded his face perfectly, no one could see he face, even if he looked up. Just how he liked it. His long black coat flowed behind him as he walked. His hands felt the inside of his coat. A familiar sensation, like crawling into bed. He enjoyed the pockets of his coat, they are deep so his hand and part of his forearm can fit. In all, his coat was far too big for him, but he enjoyed it all the same. As he walked, the four swords on his back clacked together in rhythm with his foot steps, he enjoyed the sound of it more than he enjoyed the sensation of having his hands inside his coat pockets. He enjoyed when everything came together like that. Comfortable coat, swords clacking together in perfect rhythm, and his long stepped walk.
Angelo surveyed the town square with hopes of setting up shop along the inside of it. He always enjoyed towns that had a central square. Perfect for festivals and concerts in which he could sell his wares. Scratching his chin, he proceeded to the fountain to examine it closer. "The architecture of the fountain and the statue in the center of it is almost flawless...and oddly familiar. Perhaps I have seen it before somewhere...but I can't seem to remember. Oh well, it might come to me later," he muttered to himself as he walked around the fountain.

Near a fountain, a spot of earth began to move. Dirt began to bulge into a spot a moment before a hand burst from the ground. Moments later a girl pulled herself up from the dirt, breathing hard. She got up and began to brush herself off and look around. Spotting someone by the fountain, she moved over to him but keeping a fair distance. "Hey, can I ask you a question?"

Making a mad-dash to the twins, Aoi slowed down as soon as he was sure they'd notice him. Barely breathless, the water elemental adjusted his shirt collar—still dirty from the fight before—and grinned at the two. "Hey, I have someone you'll love to meet, a fire elemental. Also, I need a woman's opinion for clothing." A that bit, he looked at Luna with a sheepish smile. If they noticed him running from Quirky Clothing, then they knew where his companion was.

______________________________________ Sol Estrella ruffled his twin's hair and looked up at the man who entered the squared, but his attention was quickly drawn to someone coming out of the ground. "What?!" For a moment he thought of zombies and things but it talked, and it didn't look rotten so he figured there were good on that part.His twin sister Luna Estrella panicked a little. In the sunlight her hair was white with a slight silvery tint, but her brother's blonde hair practically glowed gold, their appearance, and their names, resembled the planetary objects of which they were reincarnated spirits of. Not that they remembered any of their past lives.
In her panic the gravity around the square lessened enough that her and her brother, being closest to her, rose off the ground, and the fountain water stopped falling and just built up in the air around it."Luna it's alright calm down." His brother was getting panicked as well. He was usually the calm gentlemanly one but her powers made life hard for him. He was of the sun, of warmth, gravity, and fire, and she was the moon, cold and weightless and unfortunately no oxygen. "You are making the air thin it's hard to breathe!"She felt her brother's arms wrap around her and she calmed down, plopping back to earth. Her brother sounded out of breath. "Sorry Sol." she mumbled. Her silvery eyes looked up at the strangers, "My apologize I hope you are okay."((welcome, to the role-play.)) A voice spoke only so Luna could hear, 'You are so useless, you may be strong but look at you, your powers just cause problems. You're a burden to everything especially your brother.'
The voice she heard, no one else could detect no matter how hard they tried. Not even her brother who was usually adept at telling when there was a problem with her. The voice faded from her mind, but the overwhelming sensation of dread and depression felt like it was trying to physically crush her, until whatever force was causing her to feel bad, succeeded in making her tell herself these bad things, and her constant changing emotions settled into a state of depression.((Currently no one really knows about the thing in black, so unless it says it takes on a physical form, or it addresses you, just ignore it. It's part of progressing the main plot that keeps the RP going. If you don't want to participate in the main plot, you are welcome to make friends and start your own. I havea few characters that are doing their own personal thing)) Sol smiled, nudging his sister. "Sure we aren't doing anything." he said to the man who ran up. "We don't mind at all."

Aoi was helpless as he started to rise off the ground and left breathless, momentarily confused until he remembered Luna's showcase of her powers at the ball. This wasn't anything to panic about, he just had to wait until she regained her composure. However, he found it difficult when a large black mass, like a shadow, oozed out of the ground. Just the sight of it would sent even the bravest of warriors into a panic. The unknown thing frightened him, but if he thought back to all the monsters he met in his life, this wasn't so scary.
Once the black figure disappeared, Aoi caught his breath as he watched the heavenly twins. Luna didn't look well. The expression on her face was familiar to him, but he did not say a word because it was not his place to mention it. He and Luna were not close enough for him to add his opinion, and he knew if he made her think of the shadow, it could aggravate her depressed mood. "Thank you," he said as he gazed at Luna for a moment longer. Then asked, "Have you seen Fuyuki around?" He hoped the twins, who had a good relationship with the white dragon, had seen him.

______________________________________ "We haven't seen him in a while actually." Sol said with a frown as he glanced at his twin. Her emotions were always all over the place, but she seemed really glum now and it bothered him. Luna sighed, "He probably ran off and found more interesting company to keep. I mean with all the dragons, and shifters around here he is probably off on an adventure." Some of her hair fell in her face and she tucked it behing her ear half-heartedly.'Or, while you all stand here chatting he is dying somewhere, or a slave to that man from the party.' these words were for only Sol, 'Oh how sad Luna would be if one of the few friends she made died.'
This unheard voice then spoke to Aoi, 'All the dragon's in the town are going to die anyway, best worry about ones-self.'
The voice withdrew to itself to watch the exchange. They needed panic.

Aoi felt like part of his fears were confirmed when Sol confirmed the white dragon wasn't seen by him or Luna, but something else stirred in him at Luna's words. Eyes widening, the water elemental had difficulty imagining the young dragon would just up and leave town without saying a word to the celestial twins. He appeared attached to them, just like a puppy with new pet parents. The urge to pinch the girl's cheeks overwhelmed him. For the short time he spoke with the twins before, he didn't remember the girl ever being so depressed. She didn't seem like the type to think such awful things about that idiot dragon.
Just as he decided to pinch her cheeks, Aoi broke out in a cold sweat when a voice spoke to him. He looked at the twins, saw they didn't hear it, and felt even colder. 'All the dragons in the town are going to die anyway'? No, that won't happen. Yet he felt the old and familiar twinge of satisfaction that the thought. Weren't dragons the cause of his eternal life? They forced him into a life of servitude and violence, so it would help the world if they all just died...
No. No. "I think he's been captured by that man from the ball," he suddenly blurted out, surprised at even himself. Another surprised? He pinched Luna's cheeks to bring her out of her slump. "His family is here to rescue him, but I'm worried. I asked Ollor to look into it, but an idiot like Fuyuki doesn't die so easily, ya'know." Aoi wasn't sure if that was true, but he didn't want the darkness creeping into his mind to win. He feared what could happen if he did. The water elemental didn't want to return to how he was so many years ago. It was difficult to control his breathing as his mind kept reeling in the possibilities of what could happen. He would be happy if all the dragons just died. It was best not to worry about them. But, it wasn't the right thing to do. He wasn't sure if Sol and Luna could see the panic, but he was fighting his inner demons.

If you are stilled worried after I will go look for him okay?" he smiled at her, hoping that things would smooth out, and she'd smile. "If he is in any trouble and I find him, I will get him out of it." his promise to his sister voided the dark thought in his head. They didn't matter until they were proven true."I guess you are both right." She sighed, still depressed. "Let's go then, I'm not getting any younger here."
