Listening to Nagisa, Leto would recall her mentioning Despair and him being an alternate version of the man known as Atticus. If what they said were true, then things were a lot more complicated and dangerous than he had thought. Dabbling in time travel, changing the future, visiting parallel dimensions or altering the past, all of it spelled trouble. Seeing Misty, act all flustered, Leto would smile gently at her, but focusing back on their conversation. "I appreciate you telling us this, Miss Misty." he stated.
A Death Agent huh. Looks likes things haven't been better ever since that attack on the city. Can't ever get a break, now she's gonna have to train twice as hard maybe quadruple or more. Misty nodded as she ended her explanation, but as she drifted her eyes away from Nasiga, she would notice Leto smiling at her. It was, kind... warm. But she was quick to shake her head before she would smile back at her. "W-what are you looking at?" She asked Leto, trying to be defiant, but she wouldn't be able to keep a tough look behind those pinky cheeks.
Turning back to Nasiga since she couldn't stand the "gentle guardian" face Leto was pulling at the moment. Then again Nasiga said she would be careful, which was something made Misty smile, at least for a brief moment. But she was quickly brought back to her usual behavior when Nasiga talked about Misty being beneath debris and no pulse. "That's what I should be saying... and the main reason I told you about this assassin on the lose. No one gets to put you into a grave until I surpass you"

Leto didn't seem take off guard by Misty's words, she seemed a little embarrassed by him looking at her. Leto would then turn his gaze to the side, "Pardon, I didn't mean to do it. It's just common courtesy to always see others eye to eye." he stated, as they began speaking about the assassin and such. Leto was curious about this assassin and how he was targeting Misty and/or Nagisa..
An assassin? Tch, she'll cut that guy/girl down within seconds. Doesn't sound like a threat to her when she thought about it. "An assassin can't bring me down. He won't even touch by the time I set my onigiri down or she. I'll take him/her down and let you guys know. Maybe we can find out more about this upcoming war and who's the leader."

"Sempai, try to be a little more serious. I wouldn't warn you if this was some small fry ... but mom assures this person is dangerous... I need you to be serious, at least for now." Misty said as she looked at Nasiga with concern. "Don't let your guard down. no matter how stupid or pathetic the assassin may look... I don't want to look for a new rival because of this..." At this point, Misty was really worried. While she knew Nasiga was strong, Mom always warned her that within war strength was but 1 of the various aspects that had to be taken in consideration while skill and knowledge had more weight if combined.
With Nasiga putting on airs about her strength and whatnot, Leto stood next to her and smiled as she spoke. He liked that confidence she always showed, the fearlessness in her eyes and soul. She was courageous and at the same time, somewhat foolish, which is why, when Misty gave her yet another warning, Leto would approach her, standing forwards and placed his hand on Nasiga's shoulder. "That is why, I am with her. She is strong, brave and courageous, but strength is not all that one must need. I am Nasiga's other half, I am her wisdom and support. As long as the two of us are together as one, we will not be taken down so easily." Leto told Misty before smiling once. "Miss Misty, I can see that, despite your actions earlier, you have a kind heart and deeply care for Nasiga and for that I am truly grateful." he stated, before bowing and standing upright again.
Upon hearing what Misty said, she just shoves her hands into the pockets and for now takes her word on this even Leto's word. Letting out a sign, Nagisa removes her glasses and pulls out a cloth to clean the lens as her facial expression changed. "For now...we'll be cautious and I'll think of a plan instead of charging headfirst. Don't worry, as much as I despite asking for support, I'll need some for the time being..until this situation goes over. You guys should get some training and watch those backs of yours." As well as her tone when he explained to the two, putting them back on her face.

Misty was actually surprised to see Nasiga act so... mature. It was kind of cool. Now if she could only be as brave, strong and mature as she was ... Misty would be so happ- Then she turned in surprise to see Leto yet again speaking about her soft side. while she remained calmed, the fluster in her face and that look in her eye like the minutes of peace before the maelstrom strikes. Could tell that she wasn't happy at all with his comments. She wanted to be cool and strong like Nasiga not a weakling who based herself on feelings and such. Despite that, she was too happy for Nasiga acting so cool that she would let this occasion slide, not wanting to mess with Nasiga's groove. As such, she shot him back with a caring smile as her eyes softened. "Very well, I'll leave her in your care, Leto sempai." She replied before turning towards Nasiga, she was grateful to have such an amazing rival. "We'll do our best, so please look after us ... it would be troublesome if I have to take care of all of my family by myself... even I need some help from time to time...so please. Take good care of us, Nasiga san" Misty said actually acting like Melanie since after that she would bow lightly towards the two of them, being actually respectful for once.

Leto would take Nasiga's words about training, to heart. He may have detested fighting, but that didn't mean he would neglect his own training and such, Leto constantly strove to grow stronger, so that he could protect the ones that were dear to him. He then looked on as Misty bowed towards the two of them and actually seemed to have been respecting them. With a smile on his, Leto would bow towards Misty, "I thank you for warning us and putting up with Nasiga's.....ambitious spirit." Leto commented.
After a very thorough and cleansing session Illo emerged from the little space he'd made; borne from clouds of incense he strode past the congregation and, much like a freeloader, took the liberty of using the stove to brew his tea. His tea. This was just the appropriation of certain resources assumed to be paid for already; but it did seem like a rather uncouth thing to do. When it was done, the monk sat near the window and looked out with desperate eyes which ravaged the landscape in search of that roving freedom experienced once before it is cognenced and again in the final throes of what some call a cruel joke and others still more disillusioned name a series of sufferings.
There seemed to be enough tea there for him, and it was without saying that there could be enough for others if they decided to approach the misguided mystic. As he was now, Illo was content being alone. He pulled out a piece of paper, from Death knows where, and began etching out some old Kanji on it. One stroke at a time, the monk practiced that old rite by which the wise man comes to realise the majesty of the written word; for there's is a majesteria absolute in its effectiveness, so much so, and so great and perfect that it could not be attained; which was reaffirmed in that There was an infinite gap, if you will, between the monk and those nearest him; to those who wished to be in his mind. A man's mind is his own, and all men are kings in some starry, God-forsaken palace.
He chuckled slightly to himself, seeing what he'd done with his little troupe of characters there, and gave a cursory glance to the rest of the group. Melanie, whom he'd come to trust, would see a slight wave and a finished sign with the character for loyalty swiftly swatched on it. Divisive? Perhaps, but Illo has fought for much less than a friend.

Nagisa shrugs her shoulders to what Misty said, eyeing to Leto upon wondering what he meant by that word: ambitious. "Calling me out by that? You take me for a fool, blondie..? I put that on to impress others yet I always hated it. I'll just put on my real face." Her facial dropped even more into a stoic faze. She didn't show any overreacting expression and her tone but only on the inside. And, once again smoke creating from where it started at the end of her pigtails ready to spark another fire but, she puts it out before anyone had the chance too. Her blank eyes looks slightly over to another person, someone she hasn't seen nor know. Wonder how long he's been here. OOC:

Melanie kept looking at those three, relieved to see her sister had a little bit of a mature side showing of. This could give the redhead some space as to not worry that much about Misty, then again, she knew better than letting her guard completely down on her. Speaking of low guards, she was taken by surprise by a wave which poked her back, turning over she noticed Illo holding a paper with an ancient kanji. As she read it, the girl would frown lightly at Illo, given how he treated her just moments ago, the girl was quick to take a notebook from her pocket and a pen. She scribbled words of some sort for a few seconds before showing the notebook at the monk. "Go home, Baka sempai, you are drunk." Melanie was still upset with the monk trashing her concern towards him and labeling her as a worrywart. She still held some pride of her own.
Misty observed those two bonding and chuckled, then again she couldn't say the same about Nasiga and Leto, something about it just didn't seem to click for her. Was she jealo- Misty flustered as her eyes widened, realizing this just now. But, how?.... Leto wasn't even his type. He was such a molest person to hang around. "Wait..." She told herself as she stared at Leto for a moment... no reaction. She was safe at least. But then what would that mean?... Nasiga? When she turned over towards the fiery meister the brunette felt a fading layer of blush taking over her cheeks. This effect hasted just as soon as she realized that. "No no no, she's my rival! I can't fall for my rival!" Misty at that time thanked Leto for being Nasiga's center of attention at the moment, the brunette needed to think quick, how to calm herself down before any uncomfortable questions popped out.

Of course Nasiga would completely misinterpret his words, it wasn't meant call her out or embarrass her. He genuinely liked her ambitious nature and her never bending will. "Nasiga, you misunderstand me. That was merely a compliment, I didn't mean to offend you or call you out." Leto stated before walking over and placing his hand on her shoulder once more. "I enjoy that side of you the most." Judging by Leto's actions, it was clear that to him, at least, their partnership was more like that of a brother and sister one, instead of partners.
Illo rolled his completely sober eyes at the thought. Writing his own note, indulging his partner, he held that same old half-smirk on his face. He was immature, but there was still a side of him which looked like a wise old man.
"No, I'm not, and like it or not you're my partner... Don't you want to train?" It read. Illo may have been a little uncouth, but this was no way to treat the monk.
