The elder sisters would continue to ramble their words one another while The eldest sat by with each youngster on her side. Melani's eyes drifted from Donovan to Dovelette as she followed their onversation.
"huuh? but Onii chan you promised to share your secrets with me >. <"
Said the little girl not wanting to let go of the secret subject.
Melani chuckled a couple of times before Donovan turned the conversation towards her.
"Maybe. Maybe not. I'm only doing it as a hobby, nothing serious. And no, I am no singer. That would be Zoey."

"Ehh?"
Zoey raised an eyebrow at Donovan as he made a comment about her.
"Look who has the big mouth now. I hope you have a first aid kit behind your chair"
But before he could lay a hand on Donovan, she was held by Misty who was still arguing with her.
"Don't drag Donovan Kun into this, you earned that yourself."
"Oh you little - "
Once again both sisters started their quarrels as Melani observed them both with amusement.
Dovelette on the other hand was still excited about knowing a secret from Donovan. Yet his words seemed more like an apology than a secret.
"Well that's a strange secret Onii chan. But if it's yours then I'll treasure it >w<"
Stated the little girl happily before a pair of hands held onto the boy to rise him up.
"Ara ara, of course you are special Donovan Kun, each an every one of you has a special talent. But it takes time to find it, that's why is so special"
Replied Eva, pulling Donovan closer before her lips would be pressed gently against his cheek.
"Shouldn't you feel lucky for having someone as grateful to have you like Dovelette? Not many people have such a lovely little sister. Or an elder sister willing to spoil you like Misty. You think they wouldn't do that if you weren't special?"
Asked Eva on a motherly teasing tone as she held onto her child tenderly.

Misty was taken off guard by Donovan's words, however, before she could reply wholeheartedly she was intercepted by Zoey who dragged her into the floor with little to no resistance at all during Misty's apparent vulnerability while being greeted by Donovan in such a sweet manner.
"Serves you right!"
Stated Zoey triumphantly before being rolled over by Misty, soon round two was set and Misty wouldn't make things easy for Zoey this time.
While the middle sisters quarrel against the other, Melani would keep her eyes on the smallest siblings.
Embraced by the child's arm, the devil machine's hands would hold one of his cheeks while the other would trace the waves of his hair. There was is again, that warmth sensation within her chest. Something she couldn't fight. Without a single word she held onto Donovan, sharing a tight give and take hug before leaving the energetic boy to greet his twin sister.
Speaking about secrets here and there. Honestly, it had been a while since he saw someone talk to eva in such manner.
Making remembrance of days before Dovelette and Donovan were born. Zoey and Misty were actually a lot like them. This would made the redhead curious to see if the twins would have a stronger bond between them or should they end up like the pink hair and the brunette.
Dovelette listened quietly and excited about learning of Donovan's secret. At first there were some giggles, but. For once. Just as the secret continued unveiling Dovelette's face showed a tiny pair of pinkish cheeks. Dovelette indeed loved that secret and would hug against Donovan's Neck before planting a kiss upon his cheek. While it wasn't a flashy or passionate kiss it was just enough to startle Misty and Melani while Eva merely chuckled, judging everyone's reaction.
"Ara ara ^ ^"
With that, breakfast was pretty much over.

After lunch, everyone had something else to do, everyone but Donovan it would seem so.

Escaping from the kitchen, the boy would follow her sister's shadow for a brief period. It wouldn't take long before he would catch up with Misty outside the house in the open field surrounding the property.
Misty was indeed upset with Zoey and she felt that any second further would make her explode, which she didn't wish to of course. And so, taking a step out of their home sounded like a good idea.
The fresh air getting in her lungs and the rather peaceful ambient outdoors would keep the best of her intact.
Placing both hands upon her chest, she could feel her heart slowing down, smiling, she was sure to achieve that moment of tranquility she so longed for, at least that was what she hoped for as she did not saw Donovan sneaking behind her.

Unaware of Donovan's presence, the brunette stretched, feeling quite better. Maybe it was all she needed.
"Zoey shouldn't be this stubborn. I bet she would be cuter if she tried."
Misty sighed, for a short moment, there was this flashback where she held Zoey in her arms, both of then were little, perhaps even younger than Donovan and Dovelette. Zoey was really cute back then.
"..."
Without any warning, the brunette appeared to faint on Donovan.

Peacefully asleep, she had no idea of how worried Donovan was growing up on her, but rather cuddle next to him for a bit. Of course, Donovan's yells eventually reached the clumsy brunette before her eyes where opening slowly, regaining consciousness just as fast.
"What?..."
Misty was rather sleepy so she tried not to wake up or move too much, but every time Donovan's voice was more evident.
" ...! Donovan kun?"
She made her best to remove herself from the poor quashed and almost cuddled to death boy, rubbing her eye with a hand while catching up with the situation.
"What is it? Did Zoey bothered you again?"
Apparently there was no evidence of her knowing she had fainted just a few minutes ago.

"And I suppose you were looking after me the whole time?"
Misty chuckled as she sit next to Donovan, leaning closer to plant her lips upon his forehead.
"Thank you"
She replied with a giggle and a small fluster that was forming in her cheeks.

"Eh?.."
Misty couldn't help but fluster once Donovan started teasing her with compliments. But the boy would soon find himself embraced against the brunette which smiled shyly.
"Oh I wouldn't do such thing. I couldn't abandon Donovan kun, especially with Zoey, she doesn't know how to treat you well. Or Dovelette."
She replied, looking into the boy's eyes, for some reason she found them alluring.
"Donovan kun..Would you mind if...?"
The wind hollowed hide remaining words, as if an invisible barrier, between them and the rest of the world.

Moment's later, Misty cuddled against Donovan, smiling while in her slumber she was happy to show him her heart. She didn't knew Melani had beaten her first, but it wouldn't matter much at this point.
Donovan on the other hand, while Misty used him as a teddy bear. He actually had the brunette's soul in his hands, or more likely the core of it, her heart.
The warm pulsation within his palms could tell Misty was happy to be near Donovan, her wavelength was just warm and almost mother like when around him.
