Kyle nodded. "Shades are the embodiment of shadows, to put it very simply." He nodded and looked to each of them. "A Shade can be taken to mean the spirit of malice, often mistaken with demons, residing in the underworld... Only select individuals are exempt from the fate of dwelling in shadow after death, ascending to the divine sphere... Often taking the image of a human with human-like characteristics... stronger Shades have known to be solid beings... Malicious, terrifying creatures..." Evelyn scoffed. "So why is he so strong?" Kyle sighed. "He's ascended to a higher level. Shade's aren't meant to be this intelligent but he's found a way to gain earthly pleasures which usually means bad news for us. But Shades in themselves have lots of weaknesses you just need to be able to figure them out." Kiera nodded. "So they're like demons then?" Kyle shook his head. "Very different. Demons prey on the souls of innocents whereas Shades are more interested in corrupting the minds of others. They have nothing to gain like demons do with souls. We need to use this mans mind against him. His desires against him."
Evelin looked to her father solemnly through the glass. "But we can't even use any of our abilities." She stood up and looked to the ceiling. "We have Kiiro there in the next room and if she can't do anything then we can't." Kiiro however wasn't doing anything as she grieved over Conor.

Theador was fiddling around with the corners, "sometimes... we don't need powers. Your'll come to find those of us without powers, can find ways to do things more then those with them. We have to be solid, thinking, and we have to tinker till we get something that can help us." he smirked, "if I could find a way to make the vibration of the walls when I hit it help us I would... any ideas?"
Yuji nodded but crossed his arms, "But what can we use to turn his mind aginst him then? He more or less has the upperhand with making us go mad with all this. So how do we turn the tide?" He wondered but nothing came to him. "I don't wanna take the chance of baiting him with someones mind in the process, not after..." he looked to Keria, "what we seen not long ago." he looked back.

Kyle nodded. "He can't do anything as long as we stay calm and organised. And Nate already nominated himself to be our own personal guinea pig. And don't worry about him, either. I've trained him for this kind of thing. Plus he's a doppelganger. He'll be able to take it. Nate is going to become a copy of Kiera, pretend to be her and dangle himself for the man. It will prove a too tempting offer to refuse. Even for him. Besides," He smiled. "He's confident now that he thinks he's got us where he wants us. He's cocky and therefore much more likely to make mistakes. Now is the best time to strike."
Evelin frowned. "What? Vibrations?" Kiiro stood up and pressed her ear to one of the walls. She could hear the rumbling sound. Once again the walls closed in just a little bit more, making each of their cells only several feet wide and only just tall enough for them to stand up in. "How much smaller are these things gonna get?" Evelin asked nervously. Kiiro swallowed hard. "I'm not sure.. but we might need to find a way out soon."

Yuji nodded, "makes sense I guess... dangerous, but makes sense. Alright, but what do we do? Surly sneaking around is going to be hard while he's got fake keria to play with." He mumbled, "not that anyone could be as butiful as my darling keria~" Yuji shied, "it be easyer to just stop time, get our people out." He chuckled, "but that's too easy huh. he'd notice they suddenly went missing and suspected something. So that means we wait it out?"
Meanwhile Shortstraw nodded, "put your eat to the side and bang on it. You can feel it vibrate from your hit, even though it isn't enough to amplify to break this wall... there's got to be a way we can use it to get out... like a horn shattering glass..." he looked around again. Then thought about it and started checking his pockets, did the man take ALL his gear? Everyone in the family knew shortstraw carried all sorts of gear from his brotherhood on him, but just how much and where he hid it all could be wonderious... if he had the right thing... maybe just maybe he could get them out.

Kyle nodded. "We let Nate do the work and once he's inside we'll have someone in there that means to be in there." Evelyn grumbled. "What good will that do? Just another person taken hostage." Kyle shook his head. "Nate will be prepared once he's in, and we're all going to follow soon after." Evelyn raised an eyebrow skeptically. "And how are you so sure this'll work?" Kyle smiled. "Cocky men think they're invincible. More often than not they're overcome by themselves and let things slip through their fingers."
Evelin stared at her father in confusion for a few seconds before she looked back to the wall. Kiiro frowned as she reached into her own pockets and found nothing there. This really sucked. They were going to get crushed before the others could come if they knew they were even taken. She felt a little hopeless, without the strength to even break out of this, so she tried to remember everything she could about these sorts of cells.

*Yuji shied feeling helpless. "alright... I guess everyone will just sit around then." He shrugged, "it's what we do once inside that I wonder. Do you know the layout? Maybe where our family or any others are being held captive? Anything at all about where we should go or what we do when we ourselves get in there." Course this was all just alittle bit of parrinoia talking, he didn't like the idea of doing nothing and waiting while that man had anyone in his possestion more or less a small child. How however did get alittle closer to kyle and whisper, "you don't know where veria and hikari are... doooo you?" This was a test of course.

Kyle raised an eyebrow to him. "I'm sorry uncle but they're not my main concern right now. Getting Evelin, Kiiro, Shortstraw and your son back is." He replied sternly. Getting Evelin back into safety had suddenly become his priority. "Once we're in there we're blind to what could come at us, but at least we'll be in there. His specialty is defenses so once we get past that obstacle hopefully he would have put less effort into traps and the like. However his other specialty is deception so we need to watch ourselves when trying to find the others."

Yuji nodded and looked to Keria, "by any chance you still have my coat? Would have some helpful things in it to help us in sudden tight squeezes." Of course Theodor was still looking around, but was quiet up till now, "hey cozen... how come you never invite us over? It's not like we're evil or something." He chuckled, "besides Evelin totally adores you, so it be like a walk in the park with her here." this just made him miss her though. it wasn't good when they were apart. Two things they learned over the years, the first, as long as one was alive, so was the other. And the second, they were weaker when apart ability wise. The further away, the weaker and more human they were. And it wasn't a good feeling at all.

Kiera smiled with a nod. "Yes, it's back at the castle. I'll get it before we leave again." Kyle however looked to Theodore with a small frown. "I'm very busy, you know... My work keeps me occupied most of the time. Besides, I'm sure you two are preoccupied too with all your school work and training. It's much better if I hang back a little." He chuckled. "Especially if Evelin adores me, I don't want to get your hopes up because I'll disappoint you two a lot." Nate slipped into the room and raised his arms above his head with a yawn. "I've found the spot. I'm ready to get moving boss." Kyle nodded. "All right. Do your thing." Nate nodded with a grin as he looked to Kiera and stared into her eyes. His eyes flashed green for a moment before his body started to morph shape until he was a perfect copy of Kiera. He even had the same atmosphere of her around him, which was the sign of a very experienced doppelganger. Much better than what the family was used to with Amelie and Hikari back in the day. "Jesus christ!" Nate looked down at his chest. "These ******** things are heavy." Kyle frowned and bopped him on top of his head to get his mind straight.

*yuji was almost drooling, staring at the two keria's with two sets of boobs each. he then chuckled, "but they are sooooo alsome! and sexy~" His perverted side was deffently showing, if someone didn't slap him out of it, he might take a sqeeze or too, regardless If it was his doughter or the dude playing as her. A guy only knew one thing about breast, the bigger, the better!~
Meanwhile, theador's pervertedness only made him blush alittle, but that was his mother. He wouldn't be like that, not to his mother. He looked away, "it's really a bad experience seeing a dude play as your mom. And her father going on about how sexy she is." This made him chuckled though, he had a point. But he looked to Kyle, "alright alright i'll agree with the fact your buisy with the country and world domination thing, and the fact that my sister would go coo coo if you were there a lot. But still, it be nice to have someone we CAN be sure to trust these days. So far Evelin and I don't have too many choices outside of the family we live with." That was hint, theador wanted kyle to show up more often, say hi at least once and again. That and he was stuck with people like his grandfather who was tring to make a move on one of the keria's to feel her... or him... still wasn't sure which was which really he lost track when he looked away.

Kyle bopped Yuji on the head to snap him out of it, and then against just for good measure. He turned to Nate. "Give me the signal when you're in. We'll know when to prepare ourselves." Nate nodded as he suddenly disappeared, then Kyle looked back to Theodore. "We'll see. Even if I can't be around a lot you should know that I'm here for both you and Evelin always. If you ever need me for anything, just call my name." He nodded with a smile. "You both mean an awful lot to me and I know you both have your own struggles."

*Theador nodded, "yea... we talk about you a lot you know..." he said looking down. "Said you name a lot of times, doesn't work." He smiled and winked as he got himself ready. Shoes, tied. Coat, flawless. he was like a mini yuji. And yuji was anxious to get his coat back, oh how he missed the weight of that coat, he always felt too light without it nower-days. But at least now he was back into the right state of mind. "Alright one last question. Should we split into groups of two. Me and Keria, and then you Kyle and Theador? We could cover more ground this way. And it looks like you two have a lot of cetching up to do."

Evelyn scowled. "It seems everyone's forgotten my existence again." She coughed. "It's fine, I'm used to it." She rolled her eyes. Kyle smiled. "You go with uncle and Kiera, in fact you'll do good to keep uncle away from desire.." Evelyn sighed. "I swear to god not one man in this family can keep it in their pants jesus christ." Kyle looked to all of them. "I'll be right back, I need to check something." Kyle swiftly left the room leaving Evelyn's eyes slowly trailing over to the book that sat upon the jet black pedestal.

*Yuji turned completely serious, "I know..." he put his hands into his pockets, "it's tempting. But we shouldn't, not when he brought us here to fix out problems... not this time." He shrugged, "As for going with us, you were once tied to keria too you know... even though it was through keria to ameile... none the less still..." He scratched his head, "still confuses me after all this time. Glad that wasn't all my problem, poor shortstraw, for a present I'm supprized he made It for that." He chuckled, "he proved himself, that's sorta why I let him be and have keria int he first place." He nodded pretending to be a father figure now, "the real question is, do we have to keep a leash on YOU Evelyn?" He chuckled, "never had a pet kitty like you before" he teased and mocked. Frankly, he liked Evelyn's attitude, always had. Going serious again he looked to Keria, "I'm alittle rusty with the battleing stuff so if this guy has any sort of goons he created or whatever, I wont be as good as I used to be. Hell takes it's toll on someone created of fire." He looked back and forth, "might have to let you ladys to most of the work till I charge up. I have to keep my Aura compressed. To uncomress it takes time, I have to undo a seal one step at a time. It was my way of getting through the form I really take and the aura of a phonix without Alastor..." he blink, "what even happened to Alastor anyways?"

Kiera smiled. "Oh... still right here.." She reached around her neck and pulled out Alastor from under her shirt. "Until I find a proper place that is." She giggled. Evelyn grumbled as she looked away. "I'm not a freakin pet cat." She grumbled more as she walked over to the pedestal with the book. She made sure not to get too close, and that was soon proved to be a good move as she used a pen that she had in her pocket to poke the defense and the pen ended up flying in the other direction after being burned away. "s**t." She looked back to the book. "Isn't it the one Christopher gave him?" She scratched her head. "I wonder what's in that." Kiera frowned a little. "Ancient techniques that should have stayed buried.."
