Alec was in fact horribly stressed by the realization he really should be more careful how he joked, and this situation all together. Wow. Things seemed to happen. He was in no way a fortune teller, or even remotely psychic, he just happened to be perceptive and good at analyzing things. "...no kidding Elliot." Alec shuddered, his knack for questioning every bad thing that could possibly go wrong was rather uncanny even he had to admit. "I'm not sure I'd make a good fortune teller, I'd just apologize after every bad reading." He replied to Elliot sheepishly.
Yet there was Henrik calmly assuring them they weren't in any real danger. Alec's color of course was paler than it should have been, but he nodded reluctantly agreeing with the older male. "I suppose your right Henrik.." he whispered back, taking in a slow breathe and just holding it. Only when the chaos died down did he dare exhale. Nervous energy was his specialty, sitting here like this in the dark didn't help. The shadows swallowed the pack, quietly Alec shifted a bit keeping a eye on the ones playing cards, and occasionally the tree the youngest had vanished into.
Maybe he could forget about that ever having happened...yea. That sounded good. "Never again." he whispered in agreement, staring into the fire as if it held the answers. Let us never forget, for surely the pack would return.

Axel managed to get up and drag a now pretty damn near unconscious Preacher into a sit before he leaned them against him, waving her off, but Lloren didn't exactly back off just yet. Something about his actions after the fact just seemed... wrong. She sighed and shook her head. "Er- Axel, Preacher got this way trying to get away from you. I don't think now is the time to use their weakness to cuddle and wake up next to you. You realize that looks pretty bad, right? ..." She was speaking to him discretely, so it shouldn't be easy to overhear. And yet she swallowed hard, half-expecting some retaliation in place of a response. He looked so depressed she felt even worse trying to correct him at this point, but she figured it would protect his, er, future interests to do so. It was clear to her he actually liked Preacher quite a lot, but grabbing on without permission and not letting go doesn't really win anyone over.
She turned away and nodded to Elliot, watching Shun run up a tree and get thwarted once again by the bald men. "We've been held hostage. I wonder when they plan to let people leave? What about... NEVER?! Hahaha." She laughed that off as a joke, but did so nervously. Daaamn that would be scary. "So um! What did you want to talk about?" She asked Alec, remembering his earlier greeting.

The wind had been knocked right out of his lungs upon hitting the dirt and pain radiated throughout his form. Shun wheezed and weakly rolled over while his body was trying to reclaim the air. He has had some nastier falls before, but that still wasn't very pleasant. One of these days, he was going to hunt down all those bald men and slit their throats as they slept.
Probably not really, but it was a nice thought in any case.
Coughing harshly, he remained there on his knees for a little while longer before forcing himself back up to his feet. He was trapped here for now, as much as he hated to admit it. With gritted teeth, he moved on back towards the bonfire and sat himself back down before the flames.
Upon hearing Lloren's 'joke', he just glared coldly at her in silence.

[Catching up] Cyril listened as Elliot explained it was his mother's flower shop. He payed attention to the boys posture as he was learning forward. He seemed like a good guy to be around. Lazy but overall a good person. "Heh maybe i'll stop by sometime!" he said as he was rubbing the bottom of his nose with his finger.
"Heh" he gave smirk back to Shun and Alec hearing that Shun wasn't done trying to escape and Alec explaining that it wasn't a great idea to try it again.
While talking to Alec, Elliot and Shun Cyril was still in a daze from being hit in the head by baldy. He was feeling quite bad but not as bad as preacher was feeling of course. He knocked out cold after talking to the three boys. Shortly after, he woke up from his quick slumber. He yawned and looked around at the new faces that werehere. He looked over at Shun who was on the ground. "What happened here?" he said as some drool slipped down his face from just waking up.

Alec looked up from his fire gazing, his stare that landed on the trainee was one of equal parts horror and awe. "No." He answered her in his dismay shaking his head in refusal for her joke. Just no. Alec was all aboard the nope, no way, not going to happen train.
After his moment of horror, Alec cleared his throat quietly. "I know a woman the other day mentioned she could perhaps recommend those interested to the military..but i was wondering how did you enlist?" More as a way to not only break the ice and get to know her, but a real curiosity as he was interested himself. His chin still on his knees he turned his head, conversing with her now. When she pointed out it was unusual what Axel was doing he frowned.
"I think they play by their own rules really." Alec said quietly in observation. "Axel and Preacher rules." He arched a brow at the two he called friends.
At Cyril's questioning, the teen nodded. "Just some commotion. It was a bit disturbing really." He added on a semi-serious note, laughing nervously. "It's settled down for now I think."
Addressing anyone else within ear shot, the red head tried to find it inhim to smile. A lot of the people here had gone quiet. Who could blame them? "Let's just...settle down. Give a few more people time to show up before we start telling stories." Think of something happier, before everyone got restless. That would be worse. "Maybe after a while they'll let us go if we really don't want to stay? Worse that happens is we all get to know each other better."" He sounded doubtful, but tried to offer some kind of optimistic pep talk.

Preacher typically bore the trainee no ill will. In fact, she enjoyed the woman's preoccupation with muscles. But to hear her discreet murmurings first thing on awaking? It left a sour taste in her mouth. Preacher hated Axel. She hated hm with a burning passion. But for now, they had exchanged an uneasy truce under the name of debt repayment. ....also because, they both just plain felt terrible.
"It's none ya business! I pay my debts, ya ken?" And, although it irked her to her very core, Preacher used this moment to wrap her arms around him. Hugging him, being around was not number one of her list of things to do, but it was her and his private dealings. "Its a business matter." One day, she would fight Axel one on one, no holds barred, in bloody, satisfying combat. Until then, he was her target and what she did with him was no one's business but hers. She leveled a hot stare at Lloren that was equal parts embarrassment and determination.
"Actually, we play by Preacher rules, Curry boy." She twisted her head around to smile cheekily at him. Thankfully, that brief period of unconsciousness had somehow cleared most of the haze from her head. She still ached and was feverish, but at least she could think. "This thing don't get a say. I see ya found a friend in coffins."
Although, really, as she looked at Lloren. she wondered when she could let go....
There seemed to be a bunch of bald men running around kicking people and high fiving each other. Axel felt his head for soft spots, wondering if he had perhaps broken his skull and was now suffering from a brain hemorrhage. This might be the last hallucination he saw before he died.
Dying was super lame. What a sucky final moment.
Maybe he was just drunk, but he thought you probably had to drink a lot more than a few pints to start hallucinating a bunch of raging bald men.
Axel shot Henrik a smile, dimly grateful that the man was reassuring Alec. Alec looked panicky, and he definitely wasn't up to reassuring anyone right now. "Yeah ... it'll be okay, Alec." More like Yeah, right!, but Axel didn't like seeing his friends upset.
Lloren didn't get a smile. Lloren got a dark look. He was not cuddling with Preacher. The thought that anyone would even think he was cuddling with Preacher was offensive. He certainly wasn't trying to take advantage of Preacher, or whatever Lloren was insinuating. He was mostly trying to prop Preacher up so that he wouldn't pass out. He opened his mouth to tell Lloren SHE could prop Preacher up if she was so worried, but Preacher's hug and sass of Lloren took him completely by surprise. He turned red.
"Preacher," Axel said, sounding positively schoolgirlish, "That sounds inappropriate."
He was never going to drink again, but on the bright side, he had stopped thinking about losing his job.

"Henrik," he corrected Preacher with a very patient smile. "Henrik Kaspar."
He didn't have a nickname, never had, never would. Well, that was kind of a lie, because his mother called him Val sometimes - but only his mother, and nobody else.
"Not coffin, not pie man. Only Henrik." The hulk of a man paused, and repeated his name once more just in case Preacher was a little confused.
"Henrik."
Satisfied, Henrik leaned back and crossed his legs at the ankles before staring into the fire once more.
"If they do not let us leave, perhaps they will bring cakes."
He hoped they were the small cakes baked in paper with the fluffy sweet frosting on top. Those were Henrik's favorites.
Alec peered at Axel, squinting at the older man at his assurance. He really did seem like he had seen better days. "Hopefully.." He waved his hand dismissively at Axel. He was certainly in no shape to be worried, hadn't the blonde been the one to get a thunk? It wasn't like those guys were going to creep up and grab them for no reason. Right?...Right? "You sure you're gunna make it?" Alec let his shoulders drop some, offering the pair a small smile. This was why he had friends he reasoned, even worried and worked up they were a force of calm. Even if this one was mostly out of it, and had his skull bashed around.
To Preacher he silently pouted, jutting his lower lip out just a bit. Looking positively like he'd rather the boy not. "Uh huh. I kinda summarized that." He gave the sickly teen a look that clearly said he'd just deal with it, as it wasn't so awful. Even if that meant it went to the blue haired boys head.
Listening to Henrik's quiet conversation, Alec considered this might be one of the few times he didn't nickname some one. Shun and Axel fit in that category so far, and so now did this tall rather patient mountain giant. "I'm Alec." He offered, in greeting remembering his manners, sitting up less like a hunched over dog.
Can't go on scared all night. Even if it would have been rather easy too do.

She grinned not-so-innocently at the faces of NO that her joke got. It was a beautiful reaction. As for Alec's question, she nodded and looked off in the direction of the nearest military post. "If you're interested in enlisting, there is a place to do that in each town, and a specific person to speak to. How about I bring you guys to see her later?" She asked, eager to welcome possible future classmates.
Preacher's first words and actions upon regaining some more of her bearings were suddenly... the total opposite of their behavior from before. Lloren looked back, a profoundly disturbed expression passing onto her face. Those guys must have hit their head really hard... But clearly now they were all over each other in some weird, twisted, abusive relationship. And Axel's hostile looks in response to her advice did the opposite of alleviate her doubts about his motivations. It was creepy. He kind of scared her now. The trainee felt as if she had stumbled upon something more disturbing than an army of bald men. Business. Right. She was glad that their mental health was none of her own business, though she did really wish they would stop hurting each other. Still looking at them as if they were a pair of titans making out by biting each others mouths off, she raised her hands in a gesture that meant giving up. This corner of town is too cray cray for me. I'm gonna split. "Good for you! I don't want to know! I'll give you two space. Have fun!" She stated cheerfully and scooched away a fair distance, off a log, across the ground, about five feet away from everyone else- laughed, and got up and ran as the finisher to her purposefully comical exit.
She did not run away from the bonfire, mind you, but towards someone else she recognized. She'd spotted Lenore earlier, sitting on her lonesome. She seemed nice. Might as well give her some company!

"There's a small army of those bald assholes out there," Shun grumbled in response to Cyril. He really hadn't expected them to plant one of their own in the trees as well. Perhaps he was unlucky but he didn't want to get kicked out of another tree tonight.
Something was going on with Preacher and Axel. He just decided not to question it.
Regarding Lloren, he raised a brow at her offer to show them to the registration office. He was already enlisted but he couldn't really imagine there were many at this bonfire who were thinking the same. But he could very well be wrong in that regard.

Lenore looked up at the sound of thundering footsteps to see Lloren rushing towards her. Lenore simply sat and stared like a deer in the headlights. Remembering her as the girl she had talked to to be assigned a role in the parade, the girl gave a short wave.

It felt like six pages of roleplay had gone by since Shakuntala was actually there at the bonfire. She glided her eyes across the area where the piled up wood cackled like a maniacal murderer and realized there might have been one right amongst them. There was just something incredibly unnerving about the hairless men that were teaching people a lesson left and right right before her eyes. She only played bystander as these events unfolded; while she did desire to help, roping her in on a glorious world of hurt was not something she wished to partake in. The seventeen year old winced at this thought and withdrew from the action. Finding herself a log that was untouched by other bottoms, the youngest Tischendorf settled herself on it and rocked back.
For now, she would enjoy the dancing flame before her eyes and try and concoct a scary story that would scare the soul out of the people in her group. Well, she didn't really want that to happen. Would I be charged with murder if it did? she wondered for a second, but shook her head to her childish thought. That would just be terrible. But what if she scared herself half to death first? Was that even possible? She shook her head again. I have to stop these callous thoughts! Concentrating on her creativity instead, the girl crafted the tale of a headless ghost horse. Yet the only one who it spooked was her -- her imagination was a bit limited.

He stepped closer to Shun and whispered to him. "An army of bald shitheads eh?" he said in question. "Listen we both clearly want out. Hows about we play it friendly... just for now? At least till we're outta here." he said in proposal to the man hoping to put their differences to the side for a night. He was hoping to escape this bonfire so he's have time to work on carving into the wall.

"I don't think I have much choice but to stick with this s**t for now anyway," Shun scoffed. He didn't like it, but he was currently out of options for how to escape. There were a lot more bald men in the forest than he had anticipated. And it seems they had set up a number of 'safeguards' to keep people from leaving.
