Lex just whistled, shrugging at the random huntress who had tried to shut him up. "What would you have me do instead, the macarena?"
He kept humming, this time mixing the macarena into the bananas. One mana to mana three macanana.

And now... there were bananas? The hell was going on? His gaze drifted to the giant construct titan things and he stared longling at them. Oh, it would be so wonderful to practice swinging Yzalin around and slicing through the titans. Oh the adventure! Oh the bruises! Oh the potential for limb loss and death! It called to Bradley and he sighed, imagining what it must be like to swing at the titans and destory them.

Oh he could see it now. He'd take a running start and leap into the air, prepping Yzalin behind him as he sailed through the air. At just the right moment, he'd shout "SIX HUNTER!" and swing Yzalin down and around like a number 6! It would be amazing and he'd land perfectly on his feet as the titan exploded behind him. They'd cheer, and then flock to him to congradulate him!

Or maybe he'd run at it's legs, if it had them, and systematically take them out. He'd spin on his heel and slice through it as it came crashing down, the two sides falling perfectly to the sides of him. And how they'd cheer!

The hunter trainee fell over, peeler flying in some unknown direction. He rubbed his head, Yzalin's voice having startled him out of his daydream. She started to rant something about duty and finishing his task very loudly and very insistently.
Bradley picked up a banana and started peeling it as she continued to rant in his head.

It was hard to tell if she was being serious or sarcastic, as her gaze was focused on the damn bananas.
"How's about we go and look for some peaches after this, then?" Nora suggested to the Moon, pleased with her progress. "Peach and cranberry pie with apple pieces and a little orange wedge here and there, stuffed also with blackberries . . . Ahhhh~"
(It was still hard to tell, but she really did mean that one. Culinary pursuits were to her as experimenting was to scientists.)
Seeing the Death hunter having a slow grind on the bananas as well, she gave a quick whistle. "Like this, mate," she said, showing him what her peach-loving acquaintance had told her. It was a bit ridiculous given that it was just peeling fruit, but whatever. Nora's sense of pride was strange.

Ah, a lady after his own heart. And he didn't even know her name. Zascha wiped at the corner of his mouth with the back of his hand. Just to make sure he wasn't visibly drooling while Gothsmog merely rolled her eyes in his head. "With whipped cream too?" It was almost too good to hope for as he peeled more bananas. 3/6 9 bananas

Lex kept peeling bananas, because he was good at it.
Or so he thought, until he encountered one that was still green and tiny. That took a whole 8 minutes to peel. Then there was a minute of resting his fingers, thirty seconds of doing nothing, fifteen seconds of forming a game plan, and fifteen more seconds of peeling the actual banana.

He wasn't going to be making banana pancakes for a long, LONG time. Just regular, maybe with some jam and butter. No bananas. God, no more bananas.

Jason was jolted out of his sleep when the crate of potatoes was dropped onto the ground. at first panicked that they were under attack. But they weren't, and instead of fighting titans they would be preparing food.
Yawning, he shrugged and grabbed a few potatoes to peel.
Ahh, the glorious work of a hunter.

It was boring work, but he was good at this kind of thing, and soon enough he had a few of the potatoes all nicely peeled and ready to be inspected by 'his majesty', and hopefully done to perfection.
...On second thought, Jason went back and checked just to make sure there wasn't any skin left on any.

And then two lots of carrots were dropped in front of them. Sighing, Jason picked up two of them to peel as the moon talked about the kitchen appreciation day he wasn't aware of. Maybe he should try to help out the kitchen crew more, but he had been so busy with the infirmary, with studying (and maybe using the kitchen in the off hours for his own purposes), it was hard to find the time.

She beamed, tried not to recall the bad old days. Then, she got a reply from the blonde hunter. Quest? She thought it should be the technical term for mission, thought it reminded her of her MMORPG time. There was a king-like figure aside, quite tall in her view. "Thank you!" She smiled to Justin while looking at Edgar in curiosity. Is he a cosplayer too? He was surely a decent one! The sophisticated crown with amazing genuine amethysts (?) and a European style fur-lined silk cloak, so impressive! The Asian girl who used to do cosplay had her soul ignited once again, she wasn't gonna ruin this perfection. She first winked to Mimsy, and then made a proper maiden curtsy to the king. " Okari nasai masu, Goshujin-sama~" She shone with a cute voice. "What's my job today?" She was too excited that she used the wrong role, hope her king didn't mind. Carrots were easy to peel at least, so it didn't take him long to have those done as well.
Okay, was he done now? He wanted to go back to sleep and skip the whole 'fighting titan' thing all together.

Jason had considered himself done, and went to stand up but realized someone had dropped more crates of...
..Bananas.
"...Why are we peeling bananas?" he asked incredulously. Potatoes and carrots he could understand, but a banana?
He sat there with a confused look on his face as he stripped five banas of their peels, and put them back into the crate.

In no less then two minutes did he have enough bananas peeled did he think that perhaps his division were either lazy or inept at doing this themselves, and then leaned against the dummy again to sleep. Because seriously, it wasn't that hart to peel a banana.

Robert was super, super late, and there did not seem to be a shred of shame in his face when he strolled over and.. and...
Watched an elite team of fighters peeling mountains of vegetables.
