Hematite giggled, flew up and attempted to fly around Fois in return. Though trying to circle around someone who was circling you was kind of difficult. When she got tired of trying to manage it, she sent more lightning his way.

The Thunderbolt seared some of Fois' feathers. He wobbled in the air a bit but he soon regained his balance. He then immediatly made a u-turn and started to fly towards Hematite-- he took a sudden dive under her when he was only a few feet away.

Hematite was puzzled when Fois started to fly at her. Did he want to tackle her? It would do no good. So she grinned and spread her hands wide in a 'gimmie your best shot' gesture. But then he dove under her instead. Bah, that was no fun. She turned and started chasing after him, firing lightning bolts as she went.

One of the bolts shocked Fois, knocking him out of balance for a bit. Once he regained his balance he made a u-turn and flew close to and over Hematite and into the tree branches above. He flew somewhere out of the other side.

Hematite followed Fois, flying through the branches after the bird. Literally flying through, since unlike corporeal pokemon, she didn't have to bother dodging around the leaves and wood, and could instead just phase through. So the only real problem was visibility, but she managed. Once Fois was clear of the foliage, Hematite launched another bolt.

Before the bolt can make contact with Fois, the Hoothoot took a sharp right-turn into another tree. He turned he head around to see if Hematite was still following.

Naturally, Hematite was. She saw Fois looking back at her and grinned as she called more lightning.

The bolt knocked Fois out of the air and he plummeted to the ground once more. He pushed himself up and scurried behind the closest tree. He immediately went back to glaring at Hematite.

When Hematite saw Fois glaring at her, she just yawned. Widely and pointedly. She didn't even bother aiming as she called down more lightning.

Hematite's bolt shocked and startled Fois back into flying. The Fois was honestly annoyed with the barrage or attacks and how nothing seemed to have an effect. He considered voicing his complaints, but he shook the thought away and returned to flying away from the Haunter.

Hematite had also noticed how nothing was having any effect, neither ner own attacks nor her opponent's. But Fois's reactions amused her. So she kept chasing him around and firing more lightning, just for the fun of it.

Fois is starting to get used to all of the Thunderbolt attacks from Hematite. Since he was adjusting, the wobbling that usually happened when he was struck lessened and he flew into the trees once again.

Hmm? Not much of a reaction from Fois this time? Well that was no fun. Hematite ducked into the trees and floated along silently, hunting for her opponent. She tried to sneak up on him, getting as close as possible before sending more lightning his way.

Fois jumped up and rammed his head into the branch above him. He turned around to give Hematite more of his glaring before quickly flying up higher into the trees.
