The dark mist thins to reveal the holiday havoc wreaking Wraiks.
Deflowered baskets and once colorful eggs lay scattered everywhere.
Exposure to the dark Wraik magic has turned the pretty eggs
into something dark and smelly.
In the center of it all, a Wraik minion has the Easter Meiko pinned to the
ground with a claw on her ear. The Meiko's blue eyes look to you pleadingly.
The rest of the Wraik minions seem a little surprised that you’ve
found them. They turn worried looks to their leader.
The vibrant leader steps in front of the Easter Meiko, blocking your view.
"You shall not pass!" he growls. "Minions, Attack!"
Recovering quickly, the minions start hurtling smelly eggs in your direction. Roll a 10-sided dice with each post to see how well you dodge the flying eggs.
(1-5 = You duck really fast and the egg misses,
6-10 = maybe you only think faster than you move, because the egg found its mark.)
You may edit your posts, but please do not delete any.
How will you free the Easter Meiko?
Will you rush them, hoping they’ll run away?
Do you have a sneaky plan to get the bunny back?

 CatCat sighed at her sister's words. "I... yes. You're right. I just was so mad, and they're obviously up to something! Today was supposed to be fun, and good times, and they RUINED it, Thala." She would have continued but the mist cleared and she stared at the crowd of angry Wraik... And that poor, sad Meiko. "OH! OH look! This is awful, that poor Meiko! We have to help her, Thala!" She buzzed back into the air, and charged at the crowd, screeching "WE WILL TOO PASS!" When an egg was hurled towards her, she did a sideways spin in the air, and it missed. Baron listened to all this, and then moved to help Thala onto his back... But when the mist cleared and Lil'Cat charged, he swore in VERY colorful language. "Thala, ya'gun have to help da'Baron out, here... Ya go'n and take mah cane..." He hands it up to her, and grins. "An' smack d'em eggs out da air, so dey don't hit you o' me."

 Uaithne Uaithne chuckled, " What your sister said Moki. We'll wait here for all the fighting to calm down and for the good guys to come back with the....bunny." he smiled. He shifted his scarf to catch the younglings attention again. He didn't mind the child playing with it as long as Moki didn't try taking it. The male looked up at their mother with a curious gleam to his eyes, "Miss. Dyani...what's your take on all this?"[[OOC: ]]

 Thalassa with help was able to manage to use her front paws to pull herslelf on Baron's back. She blinked at his language, not expecting it out of one that seemed so polite, but as he hands his cane to her, she grins. "You bet," she declares, and attempts to swing at one already heading their way.

 Impetua snarled at the brightly-colored Wraik female that had just jumped down. "WE are going to find the Easter Meiko, she snapped, irritated that more Wraik were getting in their way. They were SO CLOSE.
The fiery Wraik that seemed in charge was visible to the rescue party. He had the Easter Meiko held down by her ear. He ordered his minions to attack. Imp prepared for the minions to leap at them.
She blinked in surprise as they suddenly were pelted by eggs. One immediately hit her horn, exploding over her head, leaving the eggshell hanging from her horn. [OOC: I will draw an amusing picture of this; also, this is not the egg she dodges (or not) due to the dice; she was going to get hit by at least 1 egg because I decided it would be funny.]. Her mouth hung open in surprise. Did they just... hurl... eggs? SERIOUSLY?! EGGS?! Not rocks, no. Eggs.
And then some of the goo from the egg on her head got in her mouth. An amusing expression was made [OOC:Another drawing here] as she tasted the horrible stuff. Never mind. Eggs were a perfectly legit weapon.
Another egg hurtled towards Imp and hit her with quite a bit of force. It hit hard enough that it dazed her for a second, not just from the stench.
[OOC: I'm not entirely sure where the Thalassa-Raik-Baron-Cataya group is right now; I think they're still separate from the other search party, but Cataya just dodged some eggs, sooooo.... Raik will sit in OOC land, being confused with me]

CatCat laughed in glee, having dodged the first egg that came her way. "TRY THAT AGAIN, YOU NASTY BULLIES!" Possibly not the brightest thing she could have said, because one did... And EW did it stink when it hit. "UGGGH YOU'RE GONNA PAY!" She screeched as she lost a bit of speed from the egg connecting.Baron grinned and charged forwards, after Lil'Cat. When Thala hit that egg away from him, he grinned more. "Ya done got good aim, dere, miss. You keep dat up, we gone get to dat lil Meiko fast. Poor lass need us, she does." He frowned when he saw Lil'Cat hit, but nodded, since she didn't go down. Long as his companions were doing ok... He'd keep going.(Thala's rolls will stand for Baron, action wise!)

[[OOC: I have a solution to the Thalassa-Raik-Baron-Cat group dilemma! NOISES!! They hear noises!!]] Raik hovered [not flying] by Thalassa, who was on the Baron's back, as the group walked (well, Cat was flying). He was worried about his new friend. He had no idea if she liked him or not, but Raik had decided that he liked HER, therefore she was his friend. He left a good-sized trail of blood as he walked, but ignored it as less important than Thalassa. He was starting to feel a little tired, but he figured it was because he'd been fighting and that was a lot of work.---------------------------------------------------- [[OOC: This is my "How Raik Got To The Main Fight" section; feel free to skip it. I've got lines and more OOC text to let you know where to skip to]]They reached the main clearing again. Raik heard the sounds of fighting in one direction and noticed shiny eggs. Well... they were becoming less shiny as he watched. Aw, that was no fun. Raik trotted towards the noises, following the no-longer-pretty-and-fun eggs.
He came around a bend and found a group of Wraik [[OOC: These are just random minions hanging around the fringes of the main group]]. They grinned at him in a manner that suggested they weren't wanting to fight for fun. Raik had no idea if the other three Winis were behind him or not, so he wasn't sure if this group was going to attack or what. He could hear the main sounds of fighting up ahead, so instead of dealing with this random group, he decided to go through them. He built up speed, horns down like a bull, he barreled through the group, which scattered in surprise when one of their own charged them.---------------------------------------------------- [[OOC: Aaaand now that Raik's up to speed.... ]]Raik, his head down like a charging bull, barreled forward towards the sounds of battle.
Impetua was still dazed from being hit so forcefully with an egg. Suddenly, she was bowled over from behind. As she rolled forward towards both the Easter Meiko and the fiery Wraik that had her pinned, Impetua saw a blur of brown. An annoyingly familiar brown. Oh, God, was that.....?
DAMMIT. It was.
"RAIK, YOU IDIOT!" she bellowed, still tumbling forward, still tangled with him. Luckily, she hadn't been impaled on his horns; he had a tendency to lower his head too far when he charged, so instead of impaling things, they ended up getting scooped up by the horns and going over his head (like one of those human cars driving up a ramp to jump over something, only Raik's horns are the start of the ramp).
Impetua saw flashes of the fiery Wraik leader as she spun and worried she'd end up colliding with him. Or worse, hitting the Easter Meiko. Nope. They were in a forest. A forest full of trees.
The pair of Mari's demons slammed into a tree just next to the Mischief Master and the Easter Meiko. Impetua blinked dizzily, her eyes swimming. Raik was on top of her (of course he'd end up unhurt and on top, jerk), leaving Imp to be the one that actually hit the tree. It hurt. She wiggled a little and determined there were no broken bones. But she'd feel these bruises later. Or, you know, right now.
"Raik, you brown, horned IDIOT! Where have you been?!" she demanded, too annoyed with her cohort to remember that she'd just ended up in the middle of the Wraik gathering. [[OOC: If any Wraik want to get offended ("Raik" and "Wraik" are very, very similar), feel free. I welcome the opportunity to coat Imp, and now Raik, with nasty eggs. twisted
Wasn't sure if I should have the two of them hit the Mischief Master and/or the Easter Meiko, or stop just short of the both of them, or what. Sooo.... They run into a tree. I'm mean to them right now.]] Raik grinned like an idiot at Impetua. "Hiya!" he said brightly. Then he noticed she smelled bad. And was slimy. Why was Imp slimy? Raik looked around in confusion. He took in the group of Wraik, the fiery head-Wraik that kidnapped the bunny, and finally the Easter Meiko. "FOUND YOU!" Raik crowed the same way he'd shout it when playing hide-and-seek. His grin got bigger.
He then noticed something hurtling towards his head. Raik blinked several times before realizing it was an egg. It hit him full on. Right in the middle of his face.
Oh. So THAT was why Impetua was slimy and smelled really bad. Eeeeeeeeew.

Thala grinned as she batted away the egg. Sure, it still splattered anyway, but it was mostly on the cane and ground, not them. She used one paw to try and hold on tight as Baron kept on to get to the Meiko. She weilded the cane one handed in swinging at another egg. She wasn't paying much attention to anything or anyone else as she concentrated on the smelly eggs instead.

Cheska looked over at her partner in crime with judging eyes. "Doll? please. Can't you be a little more creative with the nicknames?" she replied with a laugh. Though the male was pretty cute. Flirting would have to come later. A foul smelling egg flew right over her head, barely missing the tips of her horns. She ducked and folded her wings in on impulse. "Hey watch where you're aiming those! You're going to hit wraiks on your side!!" She shouted angrily, a front paw stomping on the ground in an annoyed manner. Immediately after, a second one had been hurled in their direction, aimed towards the male elder. She looked back forward to see that one of the eggs had hit the cat-like winiko who acted high and mighty and the second smacking the elder male right in the head. She couldn't help but laugh at how pathetic the two of them looked. 
At the low snarl from the wraik, he immediately lowered his paw and prepared himself to defend if the wraik decided to attack. The last he expected was a rotten egg slingshotted to his head. Egg shell and sticky egg innards caused his mane to become one giant mess. But they've come too far to retreat now, Morty wiped as much of it off as he could before trying to talk to the Wraiks in their path again. He took a few steps back and tried to get a running start to leap over the male wraik. Even if he couldn't get to the Easter Meiko, at least he might have had a chance to lead the wraiks away and give the other winiko to get through the blockade. With one strong push, he sprinted and leapt with all of his strength in his back legs.

CatCat swore, and, while she tried to shake off the mess from the first egg, she was hit by a second. Her fury caused the little, generally sweet and innocent seeming Mini to color the air blue with her words. Oh she was furious, she was ready to raise hell and bring it down on the Wraiks involved.
"YOU JERKS, YOU COMPLETE AND UTTER MORONIC FOOLS! I am going to make you PAY for this! I AM GOING TO USE YOUR HIDES AS MY TOWELS. YOU'RE ALL A BUNCH OF MOLLYCODDLED LICKSPITTLES!"The Baron grinned. He'd made a good choice to let Thala handle the eggs for the two of them. She'd gotten both of the ones that came at them so far! His brows rose, however, when he heard Lil'Cat's words. He hadn't known she HAD such a... delightfully rich vocabulary. He'd have to ask her where she got it from later. In the meantime, he could tell she wasn't hurt, just mad, so he remained focused on the poor Meiko.

Thala finally noticed Catcat seemed to be getting pelted by the eggs, not having as much luck as she and the baron were. "Dodge and weave!" she yells to her sister, before attempting to knock another egg away with the cane.(Dice roll is for Thala)  Tiburon just grinned at Cheska. "I'll call you anything you want, sexy," he replies back before looking back to the Elder Winiko. As the big guy lowered his paw and started to back up, he smirked. 'Yeah, that's what I thought, pops." He was then distracted by Cheska spouting off, and he noticed eggs were flying by them. By the time he looked back to Morty, the big guy had started to rush him. He snarled and lowered his stance to brace himself, and almost belatedly realized he wasn't charging AT him, but OVER instead! "Oh no you don't!" He growls, and as the Elder jumps over, he reaches up with claws to try to make scores along his underbelly.

She continued forwards, still cursing up a storm. However, it seemed her anger had given her a second wind, or perhaps her sister's advice got through to the little Wini's enraged mind, because the next egg passed her right by... And headed straight for Thala and the Baron. "HAH. MISSED ME THIS TIME." She screeched at the Wraiks, her tone rather high pitched and possibly painful to many ears.Sadly, the egg that Lil'Cat swerved was on a path that, since Thala was distracted by her sister, hit the Baron. He argh'd QUITE loudly. "M'hat! Dere gone be hell to pay, ya'll gone see! Dat hat done be SILK, and hard to clean! Y'ens gone get DAT bill... RIGHT UP DE BUM!"

 Leilani had listened to many stories about the war, and about fighting, but the chaos that suddenly erupted around her as the mist cleared disoriented her. and not for the first time she was glad she had neven been around for the actual war.
She was snapped back to reality when an egg hit her on the shoulder, and the splatter from inside got into her eye. "Jugh!!" she wiped at her eye with her paw. looking around when her vision cleared, she saw a lot at once.
Impetua was sprawled agains a tree, with her brown Wraik travel companion from earlier, they were very close to the other evil wraiks, Leilani called out to them "Impetua are you two ok?!" and was just about to start moving towards them......
But that was the moment Morty tried to jump the blue wraik standing closest to her, and the wraik lifted his claw to hurt the elder wini. Leilani had never been in an all out fight, but she would not let Morty get hurt! She took a big deep breath, and threw herself at the blue wraik "Hey you! leave him be!!" she called out a split second before she would hit the wraik head on. Fawn was happy again, the story might not be here right now, but this was the part where you had to wait for the good guys to win. it made sense to her,.... she just would have loved to see it happening. "thank you for telling story Thane!" she smiles and hugged her new orange friend,
Then she turned to Moki "You want to do story fight with me? you be the good guys, I is bad guys!!" she growled in her best immitation of 'evil' and tackled her brother in play fighting style.
