Seriously, how was everyone having so much trouble? This was a piece of cake! Were they just not fast enough to avoid the explosions? He clearly was, considering none of the explosions even came close to touching him...

Tall, with dark skin and dark hair. His eyes glow faintly, and parts of his skin do in the same color, blue streaks and freckles throughout. He seems fairly athletic. He wears the clothing of the Insane Mad Hatter, but in bright blues and bright purples, looking distinctly mad indeed.
As he walked along, Phones realized that this direction may not have been the best choice. Everything looked like it was falling apart. Frowning slightly, he turned around, and heard a faint hissing. What the bloody hell...? It was coming from the walls. He edged closer to one of them, trying to figure out what it was. It somehow sounded... dangerous.

The hissing seemed to get louder when he moved closer, and Phones decided it might be best to leave the room, quickly. Just as his trailing foot left the doorway, the room literally exploded behind him. "Yah!" he screamed and jumped forward a few more steps, eyes wide. Okay yes, hissing was bad. Very very bad. And he could still hear it, even past the suddenly ramped up music in his headphones.

Again, Phones heard the hissing get louder and this time he was able to run through the room more quickly. The expected explosion didn't come quite so close to taking his foot off this time. Panting quietly, he paused for a moment to listen for more hissing.

Yep, there it was. Quickly diving forward, he ran from the room and heard it explode behind him. A wild sort of grin spread over his face ... he wasn't too bad at this! Maybe he was getting the hang of this whole game. And near to the end of it, too. That was probably good, since he didn't want to die or anything. Suddenly something on the floor caught his eye. Oh yes, a treasure chest!

SCIENCE made liberal use of the White Queen's invitation to explore the castle. So far, somewhat boring. The little Hatter strolled into an unexplored wing, and realized the walls were looking... decayed. She ventured a little further, until the floor actually sagged beneath even her weight.
There didn't seem to be anything in the wing worth chancing a plummet through the floor, so SCIENCE decided to explore elsewhere.
And that's when she heard it.

Ooooo, this was suddenly exciting! SCIENCE did her best to creep back the way she'd come, though the hissing seemed to intensify whenever she put a foot down.
She was about halfway through the first room when there came an audible click underneath her foot.
ROOOOOOOOOAAAAAR
The floor actually shook underneath her before erupting upwards and outwards! Even as she was being smacked up into the air, SCIENCE thought the explosion sounded off. It almost sounded like some creature bellowing.
The chance for thought abruptly faded as SCIENCE flew out into the hallway and hit the opposite wall with a splat! A split-second later, something hard added injury to injury when it hit her in the head.
The little Hatter slid slowly down the wall, fell onto the floor, and took a little nap.

I didn't take long for him to set off an explosion and get sent flying back into the hallway. Thankfully, unless he looked in a mirror, he wouldn't notice that his entire face (and maybe even body) was now riddled with...freckles.

He was starting to get used to bouncing up against walls after getting exploded. Kiin shook his head to get rid of the ringing in his ears (it didn't help at all, mind) and walked on. Again, covered in freckles. But hey, at least he could talk now, and he was choosing to grumble as he tried once more.
