Pulling another pair of picks from the mantle, he went back to his position to give it more attempts only to have the pick break shortly into trying. Cursing under his breath, he went back to the mantle. He was noticing a small pile of them beside the door.

Epithet gave it another shot. One broke but continued anyway with a growl. Cursing silently to himself he threw the pieces to the ground and stormed back to the mantle. He wasn't going to be locked in a room!

Epithet held a hand over his mouth as he glared at the door and the growing pile of broken picks beside it. This was stupid. So stupid. This was so stupid that he was already grabbing another pair of picks to do it again. So stupid.

Okay, that's another broken pair... He needed a break. He was building a small structure with the broken pieces, trying to calm himself. Closing his eyes with a soft inhale, he got to his feet to try again.

He added the two broken picks onto his little structure of broken picks. If he broke a few more it could look like it had oppose able arms.

At this point, he wasn't paying attention while he jab the picks into the hold and moving it in directions where he felt some sort of pliable resistance that was met when he heard a soft click. His attention fell to the door as he pushed it. It opened. Putting the picks away, he was gonna keep them as he pushed himself onward and out of the room.

Another lock pick broken, she was starting to feel a little frustrated; how did the people in shows make this look so easy?
Inhaling deeply, she closed her eyes, and pretended that she was a well-trained, sneaky ninja. Like Shun. Yes, that's right. She's Shun, the probably lock picking master. Putting on her neutral face, she worked at the lock again. After some time, she heard a soft click, and the door opened, revealing a small treasure chest outside.

This place seemed pretty nice up until the door locked behind him. Not again.
He sighed deeply and went looking about for a way out only to figure out that he needed to lockpick his way out of this room. He took the tools in hand and ... Set to work.

He managed to get it on his second try. He opened the door and got out just in case the door would close and lock again.
