Rather suddenly, he slammed into what seemed to be a chest. He patted down the object and wondered, was this a treasure chest? Well, there was only one way to find out. 00zingTea pretty much adored this zone. It was a zillion times better than talking trees and there were desserts. After wandering some more she stumbled upon the actual edge of the massive table, and at it was an enormous cat. "Hello," it said, it's yellow eyes about the size of her, "I've a reward for you, if you can find it."It used it's large claw to gesture to a stack of tasty looking sugarcubes, each much larger than she was. They formed a sort of pyramid across the top of the teacups. "Explore it. There's something for you, at the end. Better get started now, before someone beats you to it. Wouldn't that be a shame?" The cat grinned. It dissipated away only the yellow eyes remained a couple seconds before they too were gone. 00zingTea thought that would be a shame, she liked the satisfaction of treasure chests. The gooey hatter examined the three doors before her. She finally settled on the first one. The handle was warm to the touch and once she had stepped inside the room she realized why. It was warm, like a tropical island complete with a cookie palm tree and the smell of buttercream permeating the air. Yummy! There were two pretzel-stick ladders in the room. 00zingTea decided treasure seemed to appear underground than above so she descended into some sort of pit. The room was pitch black, she could hardly see a few steps in front of her but she could hear and feel something in the room with her. Whatever was there came across her vision. They were some sort of butterfly creature. Then another flew past, and another. She had to get through this swarm of them! She grit her teeth and stood up tall, straightening her back before pushing through the bugs and darkness. Moments later 00zingTea was on the floor, having tripped over something. She fumbled a bit for the object then pulled it closer to her face. Aha! She found the treasure! Yet as she passed through the next door, someone grabbed her hand and caused her to turn around. Knees weak, Sunny fell.
"I don't like cake." She pushes the plate of cake away from her before solemnly placing her hands in her lap and swinging her legs because they're still too short to reach the floor.
"What? Sweetie, why?" A woman's voice calls out, running her hand through the girl's hair before the child pushes the hand away.
"I don't need it. He was long since visible again, a fact which made SpringTooth somewhat disappointed -- and, also, somewhat confused. Now that the effect had worn off, he'd had some time to think about his experience with the cake pops, and it left him wondering absently if he actually had been. Some of the reactions to his laughter and excitement had been...interesting. This idea was still knitting his brows as he stumbled across yet another Cheshire Cat. Before it even spoke he was preparing another riddle, racking his brain, only half listening -- The challenge was out of left field. He blinked into focus again, peering at the cat and replaying the words... "Excuse me, no, wait --" But the cat was gone, and he stood in front of intricate icing doors, faced with a decision. He blew out a sigh, certain that at the very least the cat had said to go through these doors -- and so he went, without another moment's thought, through the one on the left.
