[ Attempt 1 - Cheshire Riddle ]
[ Entering ]
After dealing with some creepy trees, Phymi found herself in yet another forest of trees. Or was it the same forest? There were trees, and there had been trees, and that's all that mattered to her to be honest.
Until the see-through cat appeared.
To her credit, Phymi did not jump that high, or shriek that loud (though the shriek would have given a banshee a run for her money). The cat did in fact startle her though, and then sudden spouted a riddle at her.
Oh no not again
"What kind of plant grows but never dies?"
She stared at the cat. "... [ Attempt 1 - Phymi Riddle ]
"Poison."
Phymi stared at the cat as though it had four heads. That wasn't even a plant at all you stupid see-through feline! "Now you ask me one."
Oh great. Now she had to come up with a riddle. Fine then. Let's see the game try to guess this one.
"All zombies like to nom, but this one likes nomming knees. Who is it?" She crossed her arms and waited.
And waited.
And waited.
The cat seemed thoroughly stumped. "A zombie dog?"
Phymi grinned and shook her head. "Wrong!" And then didn't supply the correct answer. Because that was silly. The cat seemed to shrug and a chest of loot appeared at her feet. The cat then said some things and disappeared.
Phymi looted the chest and wandered off.

Well, it made sense to eventually find similar looking trees while wandering through the woods, but there was something a little eerie about these that he was finding. They looked the same, like everything looked the same. Like a big piece of deja vu (the Matrix?). He glanced about as he continued to wander on. And on. And on, simply crossing his arms over his chest as he continued onward. Eventually he'd find his way somewhere, he gathered.
And somewhere he did. To a bent tree, something different in the stark sameness as before. It didn't seem odd now to hear a voice coming from the tree, having conversed with like five others previously (and one did have a riddle) but of course this one would have an oddity. A talking cat suddenly appearing. (Well, that made sense, this was Wonderland).
"Yo!" GreenRanger greeted, holding his hand up in a wave to the large grinning cat. "Sure, I'll try your riddle, not very good at them. Warnin' ya now."
Because, really he wasn't and he just kind of stared up at the tree for a good long while trying to think about the answer to that one. What could you hide but always find. "Little vague actually, you can do that to like anything, ya?" That didn't actually seem like an answer, but the cat seemed to be taking it as such.
"The answer for this one is your shadow. It follows you everywhere, and hides anywhere. Quite tricky, that shadow." It replied with a toothy grin. Milo simply gave him an 'okay' sort of face and laughed it off. Sure... sure.
"All right, now it is your turn. Ask me a riddle, and give me a second to think. If I guess right however, I win. If I don't guess right, then you win, and I will give you my treasure. Come now, ask me anything. A riddle is as good as a story." It told him next.

ATTEMPT 1
SANDSHARK continued to walk around with a mildly annoyed look on his face, getting angrier and grouchier the more it seemed he was walking in circles. Sure, he had some thing called a 'mini-map' available to him, but the curmudgeon still refused to even attempt to fiddle with technology.
When he finally stopped walking to look up, he was greeted with a tree, and a randomly appearing cat. "Directions. Give them to me." He demanded in an instant, his arms folded.
The cat, instead, babbled something about a game of riddles and winning treasure. "Fine, fine. Give it to me, your riddle."
"What can I hide but always find?" The Cat proposed, grinning and fading out momentarily.
SANDSHARK's face scrunched up, contemplating the riddle. What could you hide and retrieve with ease? Well..."Secrets." He answered, cocky smirk splayed on his face.
"WRONG!" The cat roared with mirth, turning on it's back. "Oh ho ho, very good though. Now, you tell me a riddle, yes? That's what we agreed to."
The Gryphon was furious, very nearly kicking the stupid feline.

It took GreenRanger a good long moment to actually think of something. He wasn't always so great with these, and there were seriously like no Power Ranger ones that came off the top of his head.
"Uuuuh.... a man sits in a house where all four windows face South. A bear walks by the house. What color is the bear?" He'd heard that one before.
And apparently so had the cat, "White" it replied without hesitation, "because the only place the house can be is the North Pole ~" It purred at him. "Would you like to try this again?"
Dammit, he probably was going to. Wasn't he. GreenRanger shifted his weight as the cat let out a small hum and asked his second riddle, "What has three legs but only uses one?"
Against all odds, the Gryphon's mind went straight into the gutter, "ha chaa.." He sighed, reaching up to pull his large majestic hat a little over his face to hide the small flush that reached his cheeks. No no. Think about Super Sentai! Whhhy.
"How about someone on a pogo stick?" A lightbulb went off in his head. That made sense, yeah? Well, at least it did to him. Just not to the cat.
"The answer is a death, but I'm sure you don't need me to explain that one." It smiles, while GreenRanger just stared at him blankly. .... okay.

The cat seemed less than impressed with her cheerful introduction, but its enigmatic smile never left it’s face as it explained the situation and proposed the riddle. The redhead furrowed her browns and tapped her chin in thought. What turns around and around… Suddenly it hit her. “Wheels on a tractor!”If anything the cat’s smile grew wider. [Try 1/3, part 1] (aaaand pretend i didn't roll there... @.@) Sap was not used to being lost. Normally, she was fine in a forest - just another tree, after all - but here everything twisted and turend and looked EXACTLY the same and she was so lost. So very horribly lost. And then, she came across something different... A bent tree, with a... smile? Perched on top of it. Well, she figured that this was an interesting sidequest, better than the endless wandering and possibly containing prizes. "Sure! Riddles are fun!" she said to the whatever it was. Again, he found himself in silence as he thought about a rightful question to give to the cat. This felt like the Hobbit or something, but he was in no way of the levels required for this. Which was fine, really he thought about it. But he did kind of want to pass this little test. Speaking of - maybe if he could remember one of those riddles.
GreenRanger began to dig a toe into the ground as he hummed to himself. Trying both to remember any sort of riddle he'd ever heard and those from that book. But then the most ridiculous kind of riddle came to mind, and he snatched it and ran with it. It was really right up his alley, so he couldn't help but grin as he gave the cat his own form of question.
"So, ya. What are there more than 200 of but like only come in five colors?" It was vague like those from the Cheshire Cat, sure, but hey, it was kind of a riddle. And it left the Cat quiet for some time as it pondered the answer, taking just as much time as he did for his own turn. And in turn, guessing wrong.
"Nah, sorry big cat, the answer are Supaa Sentai ~" And, well, of course did this as he revealed his answer.
"A surprising twist, but I love surprises. You are quite the clever one, and for that, you deserve a small prize. Just this time, of course, just once." It said, bestowing a small treasure chest as his prize.

He was almost wondering if there was anything else in this forest OTHER than trees. He sort of expected to see things, animals or something, but so far it had just been talking trees and more trees. Oh and there were some trees too. Did he mention the trees? Pausing and leaning against one he almost jumped out of his skin when something started to talk to him. "... talking cat". Okay that was at least not a tree but he wasn't sure it was better. "Who, or what, are you?" "You may call me a Cheshire cat," it begins, fading in and out of sight at random will, "but just one of many. We reside here you see. This is a nice place, and we so very much do enjoy a good riddle. Let us play a small game, if you will so indulge me. I'll give you something nice of course in return. All right, here goes the riddle ... What has three legs but only uses one?" "Uh ..." He scrunched his nose up trying to figure that one out. "Death?" He knew he'd heard something somewhere about legs and times of day and maybe that was close? Thoroughly happy at the answer, the cat purrs. "All right, now it is your turn. Ask me a riddle, and give me a second to think. If I guess right however, I win. If I don't guess right, then you win, and I will give you my treasure. Come now, ask me anything. A riddle is as good as a story." Not really sure what to do he went back to one of his nerdy favorites. "30 red horses on a red hill, first they champ, then they stamp, then they stand still" "Ah, teeth." The cat easily guesses theriddle, and surprisingly too. Its eyes narrow in delight. "Riddles are my nature of course I would guess right. I guess it is still too early for you, too early indeed." Now she had to tell a riddle? The cat’s had been super clever so she had to make up one equally as good. It took her a moment but eventually she got one. “What can’t swim but loves the water?”When the cat eventually gave up, Ch33p was very proud to have stumped him. “My younger brother!” She informed him helpfully. “He’s always trying to swim in the pond and we have to drag him out when he inevitably starts drowning.”The blue feline congratulated her and disappeared, leaving her a gift in his place. [Try 1/3, part 2] IT WAS A KITTY Actually, Acerium was sort of neutral to cats. While she was wary of dogs and their territory marking habits, she just didn't feel very strongly about cats. Rats and birds, sure. She loved rodents and birds and lizardy necromantic things. But. Hmm. Anyway, wasn't Cheshire Cat her job class? Ehhh, who was she to know these things? Anyway, it gave her a riddle. "What kind of plant grows but never dies"
She was actually terrible at riddles... but this looked like a riddle she could get! It WAS about plants.
"Hmmm..." Hmm! this was a hard one! Maybe it wasn't about plants at all... but it had to be because it said plant!
But maybe a metaphorical plant???
"Hmm!" Her head was starting to hurt. "Maybe its a... Rose! Because Roses are passion, and passion doesn't die!" for a brief, all too brief moment she was absolutely certain. Then she realized it was a terrible answer.

[Attempt 2]"Okay you got that one. So it's your turn again." He crossed his arms over his chest and looked up at the cat. He really didn't know why he was playing a riddle game with a cat but somehow he doubted that would be the worst thing to happen to him here. "So it is ... here is the next. What kind of plant grows but never dies?" The cat purred at him, twisting around to lay on it's back though it's face never moved. He didn't remember that being as creepy in the Disney movie. That had him stumped. He hadn't heard anything like it and he couldn't think of something. "Oh wait ... mushroom?" He remembered some science show where they said some fungus could never die, or at least they never did, they just kept going. "Wrong but intelligent ... in a way." The cat purred. "Now, ask another and make it difficult this time" The cat looked far too pleased with itself as it waited for another riddle He huffed slightly at being wrong. Part of him wondered if he actually was wrong or if the cat was just telling him he was so it could win. Never trust a grin like that right? "Okay ... how about ... On which side of a chicken are the most feathers?" The cat faded in and out a few times, seeming to be something it did when thinking. "Hm ... the underside?" "Nope, the outside." He grinned. "A surprising twist, but I love surprises. You are quite the clever one, and for that, you deserve a small prize. Just this time, of course, just once."  [Try 1/3, part 3] Well she was wrong, and she didn't get it. "Wait, how is poison a plant?! Its not a plant! Not all plants are poisonous! I mean..." she took a few deep breaths to calm herself down. "Fine. Its poison." she grumbled unhappily. "Oh, I get to riddle you?!""Okay then. said Sap, Stretching her arms, "Well, what lives for a day, eats all things, and then eats itself?"The cat thought, and Sap thought she'd stumped it. But no. "its a mushroom."And then the cat Vanished. "Auuugh!"Try again.
