The warm, sticky night air greeted the young exorcist as she had taken a step outside. The door behind her closing with a subtle click, out of sight- out of mind. She no longer had to worry about keeping of appearances with the dead of night approaching, the moon hanging high over the field. It was empty save the buzz of a few insects in the light and crickets chirping in the far reaches of the fields- among the trees. Her mind raced as she conjured up hundreds of possibilities to why her companion had sent her such a cryptic message. ‘Hopefully you haven’t over done it, Victor.’ Alexandria thought to herself as she began to run out towards the courtyard, leaping up the concrete steps as she reached them. Few seemed to wander at time of night, fewer still in the dark alleys of the academy.
Alexandria slowed her pace as she reached the mouth of the courtyard, pausing as she surveyed the area. It seemed mostly empty, save a few teachers prowling around in the darkness. Her olive gaze shifted up towards the heavens as she contemplated the few things she knew to be true. Her companion had failed to mention where she was supposed to find him, instead leaving the most important aspect of this entire meeting up to chance. ‘Afraid to go to official help, but we are to meet here. I suspect he would of traveled to an obvious spot but it would be a location away from prying eyes. Especially those of the professors who patrol around the court yard.’ She told herself as she began to piece together the puzzle she had been left. Alexandria began to take slow steps off towards the more shadowy areas of the courtyard; the path would of lead towards the Deghinsea house.
The young doctor only needed to take a short walk down the path and into the small forested area, before she came upon the sight her companion within the woods. His skin was unnaturally pallid, his orange qi sticking out like a sore thumb in the darkness. It also drew her eye towards the area; from what she could tell in the darkness her friend was soaked with blood. Her olive gaze returned to her companions face, he seemed to drift to and from consciousness- likely coming into a state of shock.
Alexandria approached him, kneeling down by his side, clasping her hands to the sides of his face as a way to let him know she was there, a reassurance. “What happened?!” She asked him, clearly surprised by the boy’s current state- her voice didn’t mask the confusion she felt. Her eyes wandered as she waited his answer, drifting towards the open wound on his leg. Victor had been keeping pressure on the spot through use of his qi. ‘It will hold for now. I need to know what I’m dealing with.. I’m not yet an expert.’ She told herself as her olive gaze returned to the boy’s face.

Fighter || Aria || Exorcist || Exwire Victor was lying quietly, counting the seconds for Alexandria arrive when he realized that she could miss him altogether. She couldn't sense Qi like he could, even if she could recognize Victor's specific signature. After what seemed like hours, Victor could feel his eyes begin to feel tired and was tempted to close them when he heard someone coming from behind him. Victor had closed his eyes for a moment but was shaken awake by a pair of pale hands. Looking at who was before him, he saw Alexandria staring at him in confusion. Victor looked paler than before and lazily grinned at the girl. “Well, there were a couple of guys that were up to no good and they just started making trouble in the neighborhood.” Victor said non-challantly before chuckling at his line. It wasn't the most specific answer but was true enough. Honestly, Victor barely knew what had happened. It was all a blur now from what Victor knew was simple self defense. With a more serious expression, Victor spoke. “Glad you came. I would have taken care of this myself, but the police were looking around for a suspicious car and I didn't have my first aid kit with me.” His head slowly looked down at his leg and the barrier that covered part of it. It was hard to see the hole with the blood pooling and seeping from under the barrier. “I managed to get a bullet in my leg, sorry.” He said apologetically, looking over the wound with a sighing. Looking back up to Alexandria, Victor looked a bit more concerned. “You can use your sword to try and get the metal out.” He said bluntly. Victor could have tried to push the bullet out of his body with his Qi but not knowing exactly where it was could force the bullet somewhere else in his leg. His nerves were no good to him at that point and considering how close it had been to an artery, he could have bled out much sooner. Victor trusted Alexandria. She had steady hands with fine control of her blade witness first hand. “I KNOW you can do it, I've seen your handy work. Plus you can't really mess it up any more.” Victor said, trying to be reassuring. After they got the bullet out, Victor would then have to find something to sew it up with. When Alexandria was ready, he would dispel the barrier and allow the blood that had pooled to drip over his bare leg and reveal the hole.

Her friend returned to consciousness, speaking slowly but still holding good humor. His response was rather unspecific- trouble in the neighborhood. Where could she have heard that before. Her gaze fell towards the ground as he laughed, shaking her head slightly at his words. Specifically nonspecific, she would get the story out of him in due time. So she hoped. Her companion continued on with a short story about why he hadn’t taken care of himself, the police were looking for a suspicious car and he didn’t have a first aid kit..? ‘I’ve heard these sorts of stories before… What the hell were you doing..?’ Alexandria wondered to herself. She wasn’t naïve to the streets, perfectly aware with how they functioned and how to use them to some advantage. But it had always been a dangerous game. One where people died for the name they served or some secret they knew of. Loose ends and all that, she knew much about that and had tied a few in the past.
Her olive gaze returned to her companion’s face as he mentioned he had been shot, he apologized softly but mentioning she could attempt to pull the bullet from his flesh with her rapier. A confused look crossed her face, ‘You can’t be serious.. ?’ She thought to herself as she searched his face for some hint of sarcasm. But there was none to be found; he evidently read her confusion reassuring the young doctor with his next words. Alexandria shook her head, “There are better ways to get it out than using a three foot blade!” she said to him, her voice showing her shock of the idea of using Avarice in such a way. Her concerns where legitimate though, Avarice wasn’t sterile and once the bullet was free there was only one more step, one which cause serious issues if he caught some sort of infection from the extraction of the bullet. “There is a way I can try to remove it, sterilely. But, it can cut the nearby muscle as well.“Alexandria said, calmly to her companion her gaze shifting away from the boy’s face. She slid towards the boy’s leg, closing her eyes as she focused, drawing her qi to the tips of the fingers on her right hand. The young doctor took a few moments to allow her breathe to even out, to come into a calmer state of mind as what she was about to attempt was dangerous.
Alexandria opened her eyes and looked down towards the wound; Victor had dispelled the small barrier that acted like a pressure pack over the wound- to attempt to slow the bleeding. She placed her left hand along the edges of the wound, giving a birth of about five centimeter from the wound edge. “Take a deep breathe. This won’t be pleasant.” the young doctor ordered just before she spread her fingers apart, pushing the skin outwards with the movement. The wound web stretching out before her, blood spilled out over the edges and revealed a particularly dull and discolored section in the wound. It was fairly deep but considerably darker than the bloody, shiny tissue around it. ‘Confirms part of his story at least, this wound is fresh. No sign of healing so far. But that doesn’t mean much. All the blood could of confirmed that..’ Alexandria told herself as she leaned over the wound, attempting to look at it from different angles to determine the best way to attempt to extract the shell.
‘From the angle of the hole and where the shell lies in the muscle it would seem it the shot was fired diagonally, I could try to push upwards from the other angle. But at the risk of tearing the nearby muscle.. I suppose it is a risk I’ll have to take. I don’t have many other options…’ Alexandria thought to herself, as she glanced up towards her companion. “Try not to squirm.. Please.” she said softly to him as she drew her right hand towards the area she believed the shell to be. Pushing her index finger along the skin the fair haired boy would begin to feel the pain of a knifes edge stabbing into him. Alexandria could only hope he wasn’t about to scream as she began to slowly angle her finger upwards. The shell was beginning to surface from the wound bed, a few moments longer of the upwards moment the shell slid up over the lip of the wound bed- falling to the ground. Alexandria pulled her right hand from the boy’s leg, the cutting sensation would then cease but the pain of the cuts made wouldn’t. “I apologize.” she said softly as she raised the back of her left hand to her forehead, wiping away the sweat that had begun to roll down her face. She didn’t look towards Victor’s face as she brought her palms over the wound, the qi in her right hand shifting from that intended to cut to that which was intended to heal. Her palms glowed a soft white hue as the tissue underneath began to heal at an accelerated pace, but it would still take some time longer for the wound to heal completely.

Fighter || Aria || Exorcist || Exwire Victor's extreme suggestion to use the sword as a means to remove the bullet was deemed ridiculous by Alexandria. There was a good reason that Victor hadn't become a Doctor. While he had been trained to survive in dire situations and perform life saving treatments, he hadn't the means to treat himself. The pain of the wound was great and the mere straightening of the leg was enough to make him flinch and stop for a good while in order to cope. Alexandria looked like she knew what she was doing as she told him that she had a way to remove the metal while risking further muscular injury. Victor nodded at her for her to proceed and she prepared herself. Closing her eyes, Alexandria drew Qi to the fingertips of her hand. Victor could sense it and see that it was very different from the way he concentrated it. It would have greatly intrigued him if it weren't for the waves of pain that came and went. After a moment, she seemed to have prepared for the operation and moved her hand to his leg. She then told him not to squirm which was easier said than done but Victor braced himself altogether. His face found a new fierceness as he prepared himself for the removal. When Alexandria opened the wound further, Victor's leg tensed up and he growled in his throat, gripping the tree just behind him. It was alike riding on a roller coaster that was all drop and no relief. The girl pushed upwards behind where she believed the bullet to be. Suddenly, he could feel his leg being cut and Victor's grip increased, his hand digging into the tree trunk behind him. He grimaced but remained silent, involuntarily holding his breath for the short time Alexandria made the cut. Victor could feel Alexandria's Qi mix and cut through Victor's own channels. It was disrupting the flow which combined with the pain, would be nearly enough to put Victor out like a light. Closing his eyes, Victor focused his Qi. He molded it and and spread it around the area of the wound, as if to massage the Qi passages and promote their flow. His nerves' screams for help lessened and muscles seemed to nub a bit. After the bullet had been removed, Alexandria placed hr hands over his leg, a warm and comforting feeling, more so than they usually were. He could feel her Qi entering, now, healing him. It was a wondrous feeling but with that came a drowsiness unlike any other. Realizing that it was his barricaded Qi, he began to fight for control over flow. As he did, he could feel the pain coming back as the effect of the healing was being counteracted by his efforts to regulate Qi flow. Victor sighed and sunk back against the tree, closing his eyes and spreading out his arms no longer fighting the healing process. He opened one eye, looking up at Alexandria's face, sweating and concerned. “I owe you one.” He said with a slight smile before he closed his eyes to rest them.

Her companion had begun to relax as her qi began to flow into his wound to accelerate the healing process. His skin still had a pale chill to it, but at least he wasn’t fighting it any longer. Instead leaning back into the trunk of the tree he had been against. Alexandria only briefly glanced over as he uttered a small phrase, I owe you one. The young doctor only shook her head, not feeling he owed her anything but a real explanation. The brief story and short mention of cops had piqued her interest, she wasn’t a fool. She knew there was more to it than car theft. At least, Alexandria hoped it was more than a car theft.
Her gaze returned to her work, her qi filling the extent of the wound bed and beyond it. She could tell progress had already been made, the healing starting from the bottom, muscles previously cut beginning to mend together, and the wound bed had begun to clot. “Could start by telling me what really happened.” Alexandria said softly, in truth she didn't expect Victor to be able to answer her at this point in time. It in fact wouldn't be long before he would lose consciousness. One could only hope he wouldn't lose his memory as well, as memory loss sometimes was reported to happen. It was an unfortunate side effect of this sort of healing. While the mending was rapid it caused a qi overload, which in turn acted like anesthesia. The young doctor let out a sigh, she could feel the sweat rolling down her face once more but there wasn’t anything she could do about it this time.
However, progress had been made in the short about of time. The small incisions she had made removing the shell had healed completely and new tissue had begun to form at the bottom of the wound bed. ‘Still a ways to go..’ Alexandria reminded herself.

The young doctor pulled her hands from the wound for a moment, briefly evaluating her work thus far. Extensive healing had been made but the tissue along the wall of the wound bed seemed slow to remedy. ‘I suppose I could try an alternate hand placement. One on top and another against the side should make this process a little faster I think…’ Alexandria thought to herself, although she felt a little doubt it would improve it by much. ‘It is worth a shot.’ the young doctor reassured herself as she placed her left hand over the wound bed, not minding the dry blood that had begun to stick to her hands. She then placed the right against side of Victor’s leg, closest to where the wound lay.
Alexandria took a deep breathe, sighing out the air before the qi once more drew out to her palm. The pale healing light pulsing through her palms once more into the wound, another load of qi to override his system and artificially promote a more rapid regeneration. She could sense her plan had worked; the qi was able to more evenly spread through the tissue. The young girl’s mind began to drift to the past despite her best efforts to remain focused. It was hard to say why the dried blood and drowsy expression took her back to the past. To the day everything had shifted, the horrible nightmare of the lanky demon and its toothy grin. Alexandria violently shook her head to break the nightmare, she didn’t want to relive the moments of that fateful day. ‘There are enough things to worry about without being drawn into the past.. Focus Alexi..’ She told herself as she looked down towards the work she had done thus far, the wound bed had begun to heal considerably faster, the bed having risen about half way towards the surface of skin. “It won’t be much longer, friend.” Alexandria said softly to her companion, a force of habit rather than out of expectation he would hear her words. Some schools taught it was better to communicate with those who couldn’t respond, that there was a small chance they could hear and would appreciate the effort.

• Kit had delivered what she had promised to her master. Tucked away into the shadow depths of the foliage that lined the courtyard and its splitting paths two bright and gleaming eyes were staring out at the pair of students, the scent of blood thick on both of them. Nearby her master had taken up position, watching from a further location, instructing Kit to watch. The white fox was aware of the moon's light on her wide and open pupils, but she remained still, settled and not at all showing any aura or air of holding threat to the two students.
The Dragoon's long and narrow body was leaning to the side, a shoulder tucked against and into the cracks of the bark, a pair of green eyes focused forward to watch the couple interact with each other. One had long, light hair, blond in colour. The slender frame and feminine build was interesting to Jou as the sight rang familiarity. The woman shifted and Jou was able to determine that the girl was in fact on of the two Lloyd had talked about earlier that very same day. And beneath her was none other than her close friend, if not something more, Victor. Lloyd was right, it was beginning to feel, that the two were always together. Strange, however, Jou reasoned, that Victor was injured, yet Alexandria was not. And injured out here, in the very heart of True Cross Academy's campus. Watching, Jou was able to determine that Alexandria was in fact working on healing the larger individual, her hands on Victor's leg, where the majority of blood seemed to have stained the larger male's clothes and skin. In the quiet of the night air, the wind almost still, the blond's soft words carried easily, bringing them over Kit's sharp hearing and Jou's trained ones, green eyes matching each syllable to the movements of her lips. Jou's head tilted, catching the distant footfalls of teachers and prefects patrolling nearby, just on the other side of srubbery and shadows.
On the way over to the destination Kit had lead Jou through the underbrush and darkest parts of the gardens that skirted the courtyard, evading the wondering eyes of teachers and students alike on their course to fulfill curiosity. Jou would have otherwised ignored such curious things, but the smell of blood in such a public setting may have boded well for Jou's own safety if the cause of spilt blood was done by a demon or killer. For Kit's and the Dragoon's own protection they needed to ensure that there was no threat to them. Finding the source of the copper tinged scent to be from a student, no aroma of a demon around, Jou had decided that they wouldn't leave, not immediately. So Kit had been ordered to observe them up close, thus leading to her current position opposite Alexandria and Victor under the thick branches of a bush, her movements silent and practiced, honed from years of hunting. The reason behind Jou's decision to stay had not yet been voiced, but there the Italian stood, hidden in the shadows while standing in plain against a tree, the strong and sharp scent of medicinal balm clinging to the slender frame, barely supressed from the thick and warm cotton of the long sleeved grey top. Black jeans, blue sneakers, and a dark blue scarf kept the Dragoon cosy in the already warm night air. Jou was still far enough away that, unless Victor or Alexandria were particularly sensitive to smells, they would not detect the medicine Jou had to use on the garish and mottled expanse of bruises that decorated the Italian's navel. They were earned barely two hours before hand, fresh and dark, but no pain was worn in Jou's expression or posture, only the sharp scent of the numbing healing agent giving any hint of what lay beneath the thick clothing. Besides the light curve of darkened skin from a bruise forming on Jou's left cheek and the slight red of a recently split bottom lip in its left corner...

Her olive gaze remained focused on her companion’s leg; unaware of the nearby onlookers. She was no aria; her ability to sense qi signatures and demonic presences were not among her best talents. The young doctor’s abilities in those areas were limited to a small area just around her person, making it only terribly useful in battle. Neither the stealthy fox demon nor its owner were close enough for her to sense them.
Alexandria could feel her work was nearly done, the bottom of the wound bed raising as her qi override the normal processes. ‘Almost..’ She told herself as she could feel the last of the tissues, new and old mending together to form the different layers of flesh. Lifting her hands from the once open wound she could see that she had in fact finished her task, new skin having forming to help close the wound. There was some evidence of scarring, silver linings of the new flesh standing out from his dark skin. But that wasn’t terribly unexpected, even qi based healing arts couldn’t prevent that. ‘If it bothers you there are ointments or other balms that can be prepared to reduce the scarring.’ the young doctor thought to herself as she lifted her left hand once more towards her temple, gently rubbing the back of her hand against her flesh- wiping away the sweat that had accumulated along her brow. Flicking her wrist off towards the side to rid of some of the excess. Her olive gaze returned to her companion’s face, shaking her head once more. There wasn’t much more she could do for him, she wasn’t going to be able to carry his weight elsewhere. He would have to get back to his dorm on his own initiative, certainly if he had gotten himself into the back quarters of the court yard undetected he could get himself back to House Kurthnaga in a similar fashion.
Alexandria lazily pushed herself up from the ground, her steps staggered and weak, catching her balance by taking a step back with her right foot. Only pausing for a brief moment to regain her balance, raising her right hand to her temple gently massaging the nearby tissue. Her eye lids closing with a bit of frustration, unwittingly she began to walk off in the direction the pale pink haired dragoon hid. If it weren’t for the potent smell of medical balm she may not have noticed the boy, her mind plagued by reemerging nightmares and the lingering questions unanswered. But it was hard to ignore such a strong scent, one she was very familiar with, in such an unusual area…? Obviously she wasn’t alone in being drawn into the dense woods. New questions began to rise in her mind, who and why would they be here of all places?
Stopping in her tracks, she lifted her heavy lids to look for the source of the scent. Whoever it was couldn’t be far, and obviously had some wounds already. The Austrian girl took slow steps further into the woods, her right hand now loosely gripping the hilt of her rapier. She followed the scent around some of the smaller trees and brush towards a larger, older tree. Turning around the trunk of the massive tree led her to a different surprise, another student. One whom she had seen earlier in the day no less; she wasn’t familiar with the boy’s name, just that they had likely taken a few classes together in the past. His appearance was quite different with the pale moon light shining through the tree tops. The fading light making portions of his pale pink locks and light colored skin seem to glow. But the boy’s skin wasn’t particularly exposed with amount of clothing he wore, she could only wonder if the boy was a bit warm in his sweater, scarf and jeans in this night air. And the strong scent of the smell told her he must have some extensive injuries for the scent to be so potent. She could begin to see the dark discoloration of a bruise marring the boy’s left cheek and a trickle of blood from a split bottom lip. It was strange to see him here of all places.
“Ah..! I’m sorry..” Alexandria exclaimed, her voice didn’t mask her surprise terribly well and she quickly apologized to the pink haired boy in a soft voice. “I don’t know your name, sir. And this must of certainly make for a strange first impression.. One which I don’t know how to begin explaining…” She told him quietly, her olive gaze leaving his face and towards the ground. It was a strange predicament, one which she would have to try and convince the fair-featured boy to keep silent about. For Victor’s sake at least, that boy was quickly becoming problematic. All his secrecy and the strange and unknown events that had lead up to this trip into the courtyard- it was beginning to sound like some of the “normal” business of home.
Alexandria’s gaze returned to the dragoon’s face, “I’m Alexandria by the way.. I’d offer my hand or offer to look at your wounds, but my hands are far from clean.” She said softly. The young doctor hadn’t lied about her hands; some of Victor’s blood had dried along the surface of her palms, her own sweat making her hands unusually clammy. The Austrian girl watched the pink haired boy intently for what he might make of this madness.

Fighter || Aria || Exorcist || Exwire Victor kept his eyes closed during the healing process, feeling Alexandria's Qi entering his body. Alexandria felt that she needed an explanation at least and Victor agreed. He knew he could trust her with what had happened that night even though it might have involved powers outside of his understanding. When the time was right, he would, preferably in the morning, after a good breakfast/ As time passed, the Qi that entered his body was taking a side effect. It was overloading his body through his wound as an entry point. It felt as if his body was being shut down forcibly, causing him to doze away. While that wasn't such a bad idea to rest for the night, he was still in the rough just outside of the Academy. It wouldn't take much for someone to spot him in the morning, bloody as he was. Taking a deep breath, Victor began to focus his Qi. If he couldn't regulate the flow within to accommodate the new Qi, he would relieve the pressure in hopes of undoing the incoming knockout. Victor's body began to glow as his Qi concentrated around him. In order to remain out of sight and not be spotted by a flash of Qi, he began to channel the Qi into the ground, stretching it along the surface. It an extension of perception, he began to map out the ground, only picking up the smallest Qi signatures of the night animals around them until he came upon one of human proportions. It seemed that they had someone watching yet they hadn't moved to attack. While Victor worried he could have been followed, an armed assailant would stick out well enough in the Academy altogether. As he continued with his exertion, Victor could feel himself sobering from his trance. Opening his eyes, Victor looked over Alexandria, wiping sweat from her forehead. She was working hard, something that couldn't go unpaid. She had told him that she was almost done and a lazy glance to the leg had proved that it was true. The wound had closed up nicely, as if accelerating time itself around the hole. Victor could even feel the warmth of the air over his leg as if returning his sense of touch despite the scarring. He watched the young Doctor in training as she finished. Victor could feel her Qi signature had weakened and her expression said the same. She stood from her crouched position and looked weary. His eyes were barely open so that she might not have seen him looking at her, especially in the dark but he could see her nonetheless. Alexandria looked interested in something. Looking out into the darkness, she looked tense. Alexandria stepped away from him towards what Victor believed to be the other person that was there with them. He turned his head to see what was happening while testing out his leg. Victor tried pulling his leg gently back and forth from in front of him and felt it to be healthy. He pulled himself to his right leg's knee, leaning on the tree. He felt heavy from the Qi imbalance and the healing effects but could manage to stand, or lean, against the tree beside him. Alexandria was talking to the other person so it must have meant that the person was not hostile or at least did not appear to be. There was a small animal by the person, something the size of a cat. Victor then realized the Qi was not of an animal's at all but of a demon. It reminded him of the boy he had seen in the cafeteria that morning and wondered if it was the same person. Looking down at his leg, Victor saw his pants were ruined. Torn at the wound and bloody, they were now deemed trash. He felt where the bullet had gone through and was surprised to feel his skin was dry. There was a scar in place, clean and defined. The power to heal. That's something to change the world for the better, or at least my world. Victor thought to himself before looking back up to Alexandria which was hard to see. He straightened up some more, standing upright and away from the tree now. A quick self analysis made Victor aware that he was dehydrated and sore from his tiring night. As ready for bed as he was, he wasn't about to leave Alexandria in the dark with some stranger, recently shot or not. He stepped away from the tree and took heavy steps, as if he had just gotten out of bed. As he neared Alexandria, he found a tree to put a hand on for support just a few feet from the two. He saw that it had indeed been the person that had been talking to Lloyd that morning. He looked to be a friendly enough fellow from what he had encountered himself. Victor stayed silent, coming up on a conversation already underway. If anything, the male might be able to help him get to his dorm room undetected and with minimal stumbling.

• Kit had remained still in the underbush, watching, fox eyes glowing with the caught moonlight, as Alexandria finished her work. Exhausted, she staggered, stumbling close enough to catch Joushi enhanced medicinal scent, but bypassing the fox. Jou's head tilted to the side, remaining calm and in plain view as the girl slowly made her way closer. The weapon she bore made her a Knight - swords and medicine, an elegant bundle - but she did not pull the blade completely free of its hilt. Upon finding the slender Italian, Jou only offered a raised hand of greeting and a friendly smile.
"No need to apologize," Joushi chuckled, voice ligght and friendly in the night air. "For we haven't been introduced yet. Althought Lloyd has told me of you." The Beast Charmer admitted. "I am Joushi An Motisi, Exwire. And, please, I've encountered more awkward first introductions than this, so don't let it bother you." Anyone familiar with the origin of names may pick up on Jou's strange combination of a Japanese first and Italian last name. However the pink haired student offered no explanation, and the features of the lightly tanned Dragoon held only the vaguest hints of either racial constructs. "Feel free to offer the blood to Kit," Jou made a motion towards a bush Alexandria passed to find the relaxed Exwire and it gave a soft rustly. The head of a white fox poked out of the bushes, looking up at the Doctor with big blue eyes, her narrow head and pointed ears decorated appeasingly with red stripes and dots. "She'd clean it all off for you. As for my own wounds..." Jou paused. Lifting the shoulder from leaning against the tree trunk Jou stood upright and motioned towards Victor. "After seeing your handiwork you appeare quite drained. I'd love to take you up on your offer, but I'd hate to see you push yourself too far." Sharp, bright green eyes turned back to the blonde female, curious and carefule. "Are you alright? Miss Alexandria."

The fair haired boy seemed unbothered by what he had seen, instead he was rather clam, friendly even. Laughing off the unusual events as nothing serious. A warm smile crossed Alexandria’s face, her right hand falling away from the hilt of her sword. Regardless of the show of friendliness, the blonde haired girl wondered what had drawn him here to begin with. Something must of sparked curiosity. He introduced himself as Joushi Motisi, an Italian surname. ‘Curious. I don’t see any distinctly Italian features to you. But I suppose that doesn’t determine ones birth right anyway.’ Alexandria thought to herself. Joushi was an exwire, one that evidently knew Lloyd. The Yggdmillennia boy she and Victor had met the previous year.
Joushi then mentioned giving it to ‘Kit’, she assumed Kit must have been a familiar or some such creature but followed his motion with her eyes, watching as a small white fox poked its head from the bushes. Large blue eyes staring up at her with curiosity as it seemed to almost wait for her to offer it her bloody hands. Alexandria walked over towards the adorable creature, crouching down a short distance from the bush it hid in. Cautiously offering her palms out towards it, as one would towards a cat or dog they didn’t know well. Allowing the creature to approach as it wished. The doctor’s olive gaze returned to the pink haired boy as he drew away from the tree. He motioned towards Victor, who was surprisingly upright, and hung near another tree a short distance away. He seemed very weak, leaning heavily against the tree trunk. The dragoon’s words were of concern, worried about how much more she could do. He then asked if she was alright.
A faint smile returned to her face as she turned back towards Joushi, “I appreciate the concern. Victor’s problems went beyond bruises and cuts. I had to use quite a bit of qi rather quickly.. I’m not yet a master and I’ve still much to perfect.” Alexandria said softly, in truth she had basically performed a minor surgery on her companion only to switch the intention of her qi from a knifes edgy to a soothing, healing light. But, it there was little point going into depth about the topic, the doctor looked towards the pink haired boy a look of concern in her olive eyes, “I can tell from the smell of your ointment the worst of your problems is bruising. You used a pretty common remedy and a lot of it. If you’d like I can stop the bleeding, the coloration will go away on its own accord. But the pain will stop at least. It is but a small thing to ask.” She said a confident smile crossing her face.
Alexandria turned her head towards the fighter who weakly clung to a tree for support, her blonde hair falling lazily over her shoulder. “I’m surprised you’re up. How are you feeling..?” she asked, her voice didn’t mask the concern. Although, she was more concerned about how he was going to get out of the woods in his current state than anything else.

• Kit flickered her big blue eyes over towards her master, waiting until she received a small nod before taking a step forward. A white paw emerged from the underbrush, clear claws filed to sharp, blood drawing points, dug softly into the ground from the pressure of gravity and the demon's body weight shifting onto it. She had watched the blond Doctor approach, body still but low, ready to spring away at any sudden movements. There was intelligence in those bright blue depths, and understanding of the words the two humans had exchanged, yet still their remained a level of alert weariness, not trusting this stranger despite her soft motions and un threatening stance. At the offering of both palms Kit's head lifted slightly, catching the scent of Victor's blood, top lip curling upward slightly to allow the scent to turn into taste upon an encaged, pink tongue, revealing a hint of the sharp, narrow bars that made Kit's top row of fangs. There was a slight sheen to be seen, caught by what little moonlight reached the trio hidden amongst the shrubs and branches of towering trees, revealing the light coating of saliva. With Joushi approval Kit took another step forward and reached out a tongue, the tip of pink flesh flicking lightly on Alexandria's left palm, the other being watched by a large blue eye. A light smacking of lips after withdrawing the appendage back into the long and narrow maw signalled the white fox tasting the blood properly, testing it and finding it extremly salty. The coating of sweat along Alexandria's palms told Kit much, the sheer quantity exuded revealing the line of thoughts or emotions the Doctor must have been feeling while healing her friend. Kit gave another lick of the palm, enjoying the taste of human blood, but a little dissapointed she wasn't the cause of the over abundance of the salty sweetness that lay beneath and intermingled with the copper red. The second swipe of a tongue pressed harder against Alexi's skin dragging off some of the dried and caked blood, but as as soon as the tongue returned with its goodies the fox took a step to the side and dashed forward, running around Alexi and leaping up, high and smooth, onto her master's shoulders. Long limbs drapped themselves over the front of each shoulder, dangling down in front of Jou's chest, the long body snuggled around the back of her master's neck, pressing against the material of the dark blue scarf. Her white fur was stark against the background shadows and Jou's own dark choice of clothing. Head lowered, big blue eyes stared up and out to the female Doctor.
Jou neither stumbled or shifted as Kit had leaped up to take her perch. The two had practiced the motion for so many years it was a natural connection between them.
"The amount of blood," Jou began. "And the way it has spread from the wound... I'd assume it to be quite a deep puncture." The Dragoon's experience with inflicting and being inflicted upon with multiple types of wounds, combined with the information and knowledge of blood splatter and other such medical knoweldge had allowed the straight A student some insight. However, from this distance, it was difficult to pin the cause of the injury to an exact weapon. "So, for someone who claims not to have reached perfection, you are doing quite marvelously." The pink haired Italian gave a small and gentle laugh, emphasising the honesty and sincerity of the given compliment. "My, my," Jou sing songed. "You truly are a doctor to be pushing my own recovery with such a stong will. Ah, but I had thought I was doing so well in hiding my discomfort." Joushi took a step forward, eyes and head downcast at the length of the Dragoon's body, as though trying to find something that had given away what pain the violently abused flesh was signalling. Looking back up, Jou offered a small grin, mindful of the split lip, not wanting to crack open the congealed blood and cause fresh fluid to flow anew. A hand lifted and waved itself in front of Jou's left cheek, over the slight bruise and cut. The positioning of the wound certainly indicated the possiblity of someone having thrown a right hook into the feminine looking Beast Charmer's face, although there was still the chance the cause was instead something else...
"You have a good nose - indeed I used a balm that numbs and aids in healing bruises." The Italian admitted. "I had used quite a bit, but had hopped sitting in an open window for an hour would allow the strong aroma some dissapation. Although, to be honest, I was only intending to go to the pharmecy to resupply rather than socialise - my mistake. I apologize for having to assault your senses so." Another chuckle, somewhat sheepishly this time. Despite the laughter and the fluid movements Jou still retained the control to not show any signs of discomfort or pain. "If you're so insistant, I'll not deny a studying Doctor her chance to practice. It would certain save me some trouble in covering the bruise up tomorrow morning." A hand lifted, gently rubbing one of the fox's white ears, the fluff tipped in bright red and silky to the touch. One large blue eye closed at the ministrations, showing appreciation of the actions, but the other remained focused on the two Cram School students standing before her and her master.

The small white fox was about as cautious as the girl had been, if not more. Seemingly waiting on small signals to be given from its master before treading near enough for the small pink tongue to touch the girl’s outstretched palms. Even then, the creature was still ever cautious- watching and waiting to leap at any sudden movement she might make. Once it had taken its fill the creature raced by her, leaping up towards its master. Alexandria stood up looking once more towards the pink haired dragoon. He began to speak about Victor’s wound; she couldn’t be sure if what he knew was from what he may have seen previously or something the small white fox may have told him. Either way, Joushi’s words were not far from the truth. The Austrian girl nodded her head slightly in agreement. Noticing how he seemed to know more than he let on about the topic.
However, there wasn’t much more that idle speculation to support the thought- leaving no real reason to question it. Although, the fair featured boy hadn’t given her much time to, instead, complimenting the young doctor on her previous ‘work’. His words were accompanied by a genuine chuckle, a reassurance to his sincerity. A small smile crossed the girl’s pink lips as he began to comment on how pushy she had been about the matter. Alexandria closed her eyes, shaking her head for a brief moment. “I suppose I have been being pushy.” She said softly as her olive gaze once more looked upon the pink haired dragoon. He seemed to be examining himself for some silent sign of weakness he may have been showing, his gaze residing primarily around his torso. Although, what she knew hadn’t been made from a show of weakness. Instead, from knowledge gained through extensive time spent not only making a variety of balms but using them as well. As not all a Doctor studied was in the manipulation of their qi. Alexandria cocked her head to the side, briefly, as she observed his movements; they could suggest the wounds to be in the same places he seemed to check as he looked down his body.. ‘Mid-upper torso.. Lower abdomen..? Perhaps.. Coupling that with the wounds to his face…Ah. No reason to suspect what can’t yet be confirmed.’ Alexandria contemplated but reminded herself to not jump to conclusions that held little ground in fact.
Olive eyes watching the Italian curiously as he spoke once more, apologizing for assaulting her senses. The young doctor chuckled, a warm smile crossing her lips. “There is more to being a doctor than qi manipulation. We study to use and make all sorts of remedies…After a while you can tell them apart by scent alone, don’t let it bother you much.” Alexandria said to him, dismissing his musings about concern of the smell.
Joushi seemed to be accepting the proposition already made, as allowing her to mend his wounds would provide less trouble for him the next morning. Alexandria nodded her head; there was no denying that logic. It was approaching the hotter months of the year, a truly unpleasant time to spend trying to obscure bruises from prying eyes. Alexandria watched as Joushi began to comfort the small fox that perched along his shoulder, the creature still keenly watching them for sudden movements. The creature seemed very protective of its master.[coor=#89C4BD] “Assuming Kit would allow me.” Alexandria said as a smirk crossed her face.
Her olive gaze returning to Joushi’s face, her smirk fading and a more serious look in her eyes, “Either way, we probably shouldn’t linger here too much longer. If you’d like me to do something about your bruises I’d be happy to help. But, the process can cause you to black out from an overload of qi.” She said softly to him, letting him know what was likely to happen if he allowed her to play doctor once more.

• Jou nodded. "As expected from such a skilled woman." The dragoon complimented. "Perhaps one day I might be lucky enough to try out some of your remedies. I find home made medicines to be far more effective that the simple counter top bottles." Joushi explained, hand dropping from Kit's ear to rest lazily, haning by the slender Italian's side, along with the other. The fox blinked at Alexi's call of the demon's name, an ear twitching in recognition of the sound. Joushi's smile only grew. "She's a smart girl. If she lunges it is because you tried to hurt me. If she attacks... well, then I'm afriad I'll be right behind her, as it means you had tried to kill me." Rather than sounding threatening Jou just chuckled once again, voice light and tingling like chimes in the calm, warm night breeze. As though on cue the fox's long, white tail swung up and over Jou's shoulder, swishing daintily across her master's chest while big blue eyes stared straight at the rapier wielding doctor. A stretch of the jaw revealed lines of white, sharp fangs, neatly standing tall and slightly curved, pointing into the maw itself. Such an alignment of utensils were key in snapping and keeping a hold on pray, denying them extra opportunity of escaping. Even more sso as, if they do pull free, the damage done would be dangerous. Strings of saliva could be seen between a few of the white weapons. With a snap the jaw was shut once again, big blue eyes staring down at the doctor with a calm, understanding expression. Jou gave a small chuckle.
"Mhm, if you believe so. I'm quite used to being healed via the method of Qi. However," Sharp green eyes moved to look past the blond woman to instead look over the slumped form of her friend, Victor. "Victor, yes?" Jou spoke softly. "It seems your friend," The pink haired Beast Charmer looked back to Alexi, regarding her with concern. "Is in the need of rest. Somewhere more comfortable than a side walk. If you are worried of sneaking him up a flight of stairs or past late night students, then..." Green eyes turned to Kit, regarding her for a second. Kit did not move and Jou's smile widened before looking back up to the fellow Cram School students. "Myself and Kit would be able to carefully carry him up to his bedroom window. We're quite versatile, after all." Another small chuckle, humour in the depths of emerald eyes. Despite appearances of the two together it was all too easy for them to haul - safely and soundly - the large mass of Victor's weight up any number of stories of a building to his window. Even if the window was locked. And best of all, nothing would be broken, or otherwise alerting civilians to something 'out of order.' They've done such things before, and Jou doubted it would be the last. The only question was whether or not Jou had earned enough trust to allow such faith. From both Alexi and Victor.

Fighter || Aria || Exorcist || Exwire Victor watched as the two talked, keeping his eyes on Joushi. The boy had a strange name and a strange appearance but Victor wasn't paying attention to that. The demon he was with looked small but could very well change shape. He could see that it was some sort of Byakko, one of Japans's oldest demon inhabitants. Victor wondered how old the demon might have been when it began to lick Alexandria's hand free of blood. It made Victor a bit uncomfortable at the thought of it licking him so he would keep his distance but the ground where he had been might need some solution to keep it out of the news. Joushi proved to be quite observant and was not afraid to let them know. Perhaps, it was a habit of his or a hobby but the boy had a knack for observing. They had found him watching, after all. Victor didn't know if he could trust him just yet but he found no reason not to. He was an Exorcist, like him, after all. Alexandria had noticed him walk up to see them and was surprised to see he was up and moving. Victor had encountered situation like that before where he had no choice but to keep moving. The place he was and who he was with, made it all worth while. He smiled a bit, nodding. “Alive. Thanks to you.” He said with a low tone, not playful but sincere. The conversation between the two then continued and they were awed with more keen observations on what Joushi had seen. Victor slightly nodded to himself, noticing the boy's talent. He really has an eye for detail. That's valuable. Victor also noticed how formal he was when speaking. It was not something Victor was incapable of, but something he had stopped doing long ago in hopes of finding a place of underestimation by those around him. No one bothered to prepare against a dumb brute. As time went on, they discussed medical remedies and the line of work in being a doctor. Alexandria had noticed that Joushi had used a balm to treat minor injuries that looked like he had gotten from a rumble. Victor was impressed with Alexandria already and to hear that she knew her stuff, made him even prouder of her achievements in her class. After hearing them speak of healing the Exorcist's bruises, Joushi refused in giving attention to Victor. He seemed to realize that Victor was weakened and tired. Standing taller than before, at the mention of his name, Victor spoke. “After that miracle back there, I could stomach walking myself to bed.” He said with a smirk. “I'm Victor deAsturias.” He introduced himself, stepping closer to come up beside Alexandria and to let him see Victor a bit better in the moonlight. “Nice meeting you, Joushi.” He looked down a bit at his right hand before looking up at the boy. “I'd give you a hand to shake but it's a little dirty right now.” Victor referred to the dried blood that covered his hands, shrugging a bit. His eyes glanced at the small demon, not being sure if the Qi coming from it was entirely it's own or if some other kind of demon was producing Qi in the area. “I could still use your help if your willing.” Victor said, sounding a bit more enthusiastic than before. “I know it's getting late, and we just met, but I made a mess over where we were sitting. I don't want the teachers to freak out, so I'd need to get that blood all covered up.” Victor spoke. He didn't expect Joushi to accept his request but if he did, Victor would have one last errand to run before hitting the hay. The car needs to get dumped, too. Can't leave that to him, though. Raises even more questions. Maybe, Alexandria? Victor knew he was getting lazy even with his weakened state and it could cost him if he didn't go through the trouble of wiping the car down before ditching it.
