True Cross Academy is a place where students are trained to become Exorcists. It is controlled by True Cross Order, and at one point the Chairman, Mephisto Phelesis. Currently it is led by the Head Mistress Kiyoko Takara after she received the blessing from the Vatican. True Cross Academy lies within True Cross Town. It is a normal school, but also contains a ‘cram school’ for Exorcists. The cram school offers a range of different courses. The Academy is located in the central heart of True Cross Town and was rumored to be one of the largest buildings in the area as it included several subsections and even a large garden which some might call a forest.
The True Cross Academy acts as a home and boarding school to some of the world’s most prestigious children in both the Exorcist world and the world of normal humans. At present 30,000 students earn their education at True Cross, ranging from grade school to university. The Academy grounds, which is large enough to be considered its own city district, serves as secondary base for the True Cross Order.
The school has numerous familiars, guards, and spells on and around it that make it almost impossible for a Demon to locate it without previous knowledge or guidance from a student. Such people cannot see the school; rather, they see only ruins and several warnings of danger. Being so up to date in the future the Academy tries to keep to some old methods with limiting the number electronic devices that can be used around campus such as computers, radar, and cell phones, but due to a riot a few years back the school found it easier to allow students access to all the technology the world and the school could offer them for their classes and for their firsthand experience lessons.
The courtyard where you are currently located is one of the cloisters where students tend to roam about before class and after class or to leave the Academy to head into the city. This courtyard has an open range of not only paved and stone walkways but grass in the open area, in which a big tree has grown over the centuries, it is said to be one of the seven secrets of True Cross. There is one massive iron statue of the six greatest students to graduate from True Cross each one being of a different class. Also from the courtyard or from your journey up the hill to get to the Academy you would have noticed four large towers around the main building, those are the dormitories. At True Cross we have a House System, you will be placed into a House during your entry ceremony and will be placed into a four man team which you will work with for the entire time you are here at True Cross.

Alexandria Elaine Ferdinand Doctor || Knight || ExwireAlexandria found herself in the heart of the academy, a massive space that seemed to hold its own in the splendor of buildings around it. However during this time of year the massive trees seemed barren coated in snow and ice. There were signs posted to direct the student body towards True Cross’s Great Hall for the ceremony. But many seemed to relish in the snow, playing in it not unlike children would. Perhaps they still were. Alexandria walked along the stone pavement towards the main building; she was joined by other students with the same objective. Many of their faces chilled from the icy breeze and snow fall. She held onto her leather messenger bag loosely with her left hand. It was an uneventful stroll. As Alexandria neared the academy she pushed her hood back on to her shoulders. The main doors were being held open by other students, or perhaps guards to the entrance hall.

Exwire As the limousine was passing the main courtyard Ignazio called for the driver to stop, he had his phone out once again and was skimming through the two profiles of the two people he just recently met, although it turned out he actually had a class with both of them within the past two years but they were never all in the same class at once; funny. Ignazio’s door opened and he put his phone away, as he stepped outside under the umbrella. ”If you guys wouldn’t mind taking my things over to my dorm and putting everything away that would be great. I have my keys to not just he cram school but to my room as well. I do love how this academy is set up with all these keys. It never ceases to amaze me.” he said as he took the umbrella from Dutch and waved goodbye as he began to walk off into the distance alone heading to the Great Hall, it was time his presence was known by all.

Alexandria Elaine Ferdinand Doctor || Knight || ExwireThe Courtyard was noticeably emptier than before. Most the students must have still been within the Great Hall, as the ceremony had yet to begin. ‘I only need a few minutes.’ she thought to herself. A clear mind was going to be the only way to continue to deal with this day in a remotely peaceful manner. Alexandria took her coat and put it on over her uniform jacket. She lifted the hood over her head before she began to walk across the stone pavement. Imprints of the many students had practically cleared the path to the different buildings. But the snow still fell gracefully in an attempt to keep the world coated in white. The cold air was a relief to her, while not nearly as refreshing as the chilling wind of a mountain- it would do. Alexandria had walked along the path till she reached the lower ridge of the cleared- once green grass. The snow that covered the grass was noticeably thicker than it had been in other areas of both town and campus- roughly 3 to 4 inches thick, her boots sinking into the soft snow with every step. Alexandria was oblivious to the nature around her- thoughts on home. After a few minutes she reached her destination- a clear zone not too far behind the massive lake that seemed to sit in the exact center of Courtyard. Alexandria lifted her plain leather bag offer her shoulder and threw it down on to the snow as if it were a blanket and it was spring. She sat on top of it crossing her legs; laying her hands in her lap one on top the other in meditation. Closing her eyes she began to breathe in and out slowly as if mentally counting how long each should last.
Slowly her mind cleared of the obnoxious thoughts that clouded it. They were not unlike poison, changing her demeanor to something-someone she wasn't. The minutes passed by as she kept with her deep breathing. After some time had passed she opened her eyes, no longer tense or frustrated. ‘Oh the wonders of ten minutes of meditation’ She thought idly as she stood up and shook the snow off. Reaching back down she picked up her dark leather bag she had been sitting on- dusting the snow and water off it was well. Placing it back over her left shoulder she left for the Great Hall once more. Hoping she wouldn't be late to the ceremony.

[✯] ❧ Audrianna Hara Black ❧ [✯] "I am more than just a means to an end." The moonlight wasn't especially bright tonight. The clouds that covered the sky from the blizzard had blocked most of the light that could enter down and shine upon the earth. Audrianna didn't mind in the least bit. The less light allowed at night, the better. She didn't want any busy-body student walking by and asking her what she was doing out in the cold so late. Audri loved the cold. There was nothing better to her than the crisp night air with snow blowing everywhere. The cold was her friend. She was able to concentrate better when the temperature is lower, but there is really no explanation as to why this is true. It must just be another weird trait to add on top of Audri's many.
Audri was in the courtyard for no real reason except to be alone outside. This was going to be her first year in the Cram school, though she never understood why the exorcists wanted her to start so late at her age. The whole reason they took her captive when she was younger was so she could join the cram school, so she could never figure out why they never started her sooner. Audri was sitting in a tree, rather than the many options of benches in the courtyard. She sat on one of the lower branches with her right leg stretched across the branch and her left one dangling. She was still high up enough in the tree that a random passerby wouldn't see her, unless they looked straight up. Audri hoped that didn't happen. Audri leaned her head against the tree as the snow continued to fall. She began to wonder how much trouble she would get into by missing the opening ceremony? All she would have done was stand in a corner anyways. She hated formal gatherings, but what she hated more was being forced to interact with the student body. Audri was not here to make friends or allies. She knew, deep down, that if the students knew what or who she truly was, they would try to kill her. She was half the enemy after all. Of course, demons see her that way too. Half the enemy. Audri is never the right type of person for anybody. She will always be a little too evil one way or another.
Audrianna had closed her eyes as she felt individual snowflakes hit her skin and immediately melt away. She loved the feeling of snow fall against her skin. Most people would think she was trying to catch her death out in this weather, but being a half-demon, Audri was a little more resistant to temperature changes than most humans. This cold would not cause her death by any means. Audrianna then began to think of her familiar Nymeria. She knew Nymeria liked to wander off on her own, but it made Audri uneasy at times. The upperclassman know that Nymeria is her familiar but being a large wolf demon, she often times freaked out the younger class men. Audri knew there was no reason to worry, though. Nymeria was an expert at camouflage, and her excellent sense of smell warned her of danger before it ever thought about coming near her.
That reminded Audri...lower class men. How she loathed lower class men. The 5th years, like herself, were used to Audri's weird appearance and off-putting behavior. The lower class men though...the lower class men are always either freaked out by her tattoos and piercings or they get offended by her attitude. Oh how Audri did not look forward to being forced to meet new people. It never went well for her or the other people. She had only gotten into fights a hand full of times, but she had no other choice. People are scared of what they don't understand, and Audri was definitely someone who was hard to understand. [[Do to time change, Audri has exited]]

Exwire The day had passed quickly, Ignazio didn’t even notice the time with all the crazy things that happened in the library. He raised his left arm up and looked at his silver watch on his wrist and then looked up at the moonlit sky that created his path for him. ”Eight o’clock. I guess we missed dinner with all of that excitement. Doesn’t matter at this point I guess. As long as we complete this thing before class, I’ll be able to move forward and reclaim what was stolen from me.” he said outloud to himself as he went back to walking. As he was walking his eyes shifted from left to right as the light poles started to flare up like the morning sun but as they turned on small black creatures floated from the shadows and flew pass Ignazio. ”Coal Tars? That’s odd, they aren’t usually in this many numbers at the Academy. So why would they be here like this unless…” Looking at the creatures Ignazio stood his ground and slowly reached his right hand towards his thigh. The wind began to howl as it zoomed around him pushing through the trees, grass, and his hair. The sound of the fountain behind him echoed through his ears as he listened to the water. He slowly unbuckled the holster on his leg as he looked ahead to see a couple of figures walking out of the shadows of the path that wasn’t marked yet. Ignazio narrowed his eyes slightly trying to see who it was but it was no use, he couldn’t make out who they were. ”Reveal yourselves!” he called out as the figures stood there. A low growl came from the King’s throat as he raised the lip of the holster and placed his hand on a familiar card, one that he knew all too well. Slowly pulling the card out of the holster so it was still in the holster slightly was the picture of a knight; this was the tarot card that he used to call for the powers of the Fiend: Innocentius.

The figures stood there and all began to laugh and walking into the light in unison. They were being circled by the Coal Tars as they stood in the light that began to flicker as their combined Qi disrupted the natural flow of energy causing the light around to flicker. Judging by their uniforms they were all students of the Academy, but they were not members of the Cram School. One of the students was well known through the school as a brilliant pianist and the others were known for their artistic skills as well in either painting or singing. Two of them were wearing the Black Uniform of the House of Deghinsea and the other who held two strangely designed guns was wearing a long white coat which had the mark of Almedha on its shoulder. ”Good Evening Mr. Barthomeloi, I see you’re the first one to accept our challenge tonight. That’s interesting I didn’t know you were a member of Pandemonium, what’s your class and rank. You see Issei, Kirei, and myself are all on level fifty now. You must be pretty high up to get through the barrier Issei placed around this place.” Shinji said as he played with his guns spinning them around his index finger before pointing them at the Barthomeloi boy. A yawn came from the boy with blue hair, he was the one known as Issei, his amber eyes turned red for a second as a glyph formed within the iris of his eyes. ”Guys, I think this is a fluke, Kirei messed up, this guy has no magical energy coming off his body, I highly doubt he’ll give us enough EXP to share among the three of us. So that means someone will have to take him on alone and just take the scarps he has.” Issei said outloud as he shoved his hands into his pockets and then looked up at the moon. ”Then how about you do it Issei, you’re technically lower in points than me and Shinji. I mean, if he’s a noob then it should be easy for the Great Arch Battle Mage of True Cross. ”
Shinji lowered his guns and began to walk with the blonde boy known as Kirei over to the nearby tree having a trail of Coal Tar follow behind them. A sigh came from Issei’s mouth as he turned his head to the left and then to the right as he cracked his neck and then his shoulders; rotating them slowly. Issei raised his hands slightly with his palms half open. ”You guys just want me to carry you in this battle again. Fine, I guess I can do that this time, but the next battle is yours. I’m not going to use all my MP again like last time to save you.”

Exwire ’Barrier? I didn’t feel the presence of a barrier.’ Ignazio looked at their faces and then lowered the card back into the holster but then once they started talking about points and magic it hit him. ”Wait, what’s Pandemonium?” he called out as he noticed that Issei was ready to fight. Ignazio took a step back with his right leg and looked at the cold stares he was getting, he could feel the bloodlust running off of them and the demonic aura straddling off of their bodies was enough to cause Ignazio to be back up and show a little more fear than he was actually use to. ”I see, so you three are victims in this. As much as I hate to do this to you, I hope you can forgive me one day.” Ignazio said as he removed his right hand from the holster and stretched it in front of him and with his index finger a bright green flare formed as he began to draw on the very air. He moved his had in the form of a circle and then drew a cross in the center of the circle. The circle began to rotate as he started writing around the circle in a strange language as he chanted ”Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.” he chanted as he took aim on Issei who was directly in front of him but as he finished the first circle he drew a second circle behind it and started to create the same pattern along this circle.

Alexandria Elaine Ferdinand Doctor || Knight || Exwire Alexandria had made her way to the Courtyard, the sky was now inky black and the light poles glowed to illuminate the path before her. She couldn't help wonder how much time they’d actually spent in that library. ‘A great deal. It would seem.’ She thought as she let out a sigh. Alexandria began her walk further into True Cross’s courtyard, the moon had begun to shine high above her- it was a full moon.
In the distance Alexandria could hear some sort of commotion, something about ‘exp’ and being ‘level 50’. Perhaps that game they had been warned about was one that was played as well within True Cross’s walls. She ran to where she heard the voices, Ignazio was there as well as three other boys. Evidently one from the house of Deghinsea had some crazy idea to fight him. She noticed the other two had backed off to allow this one versus one fight. Having decided Ignazio must have been some sort of weakling. Alexandria ran to Ignazio’s side as he was working on completing his glyph, while he held a card as well he didn't yet use it. Alexandria drew her sword, “Let me help you.” She said to him as she watched their adversaries carefully. Alexandria wasn't so sure they’d leave the Great Battle Mage to fight them alone.

Issei looked at the glyph that Ignazio was forming and began to laugh ”Oh man, this is rich he’s still in beginner mode using incantations.” but as soon as Alexandria appeared Issei’s eyes glowed red once again and then he turned his head back to Ignazio. ”Sorry but I don’t fight girls” and as soon as he said that Issei clapped his hands together and three glyphs appeared underneath him right before he held his hands forward towards both Alexandria and Ignazio ”You’re too slow! Supreme Thunder! ” he called out as a large blue and green bolt of lightning formed between the student’s hands and rushed towards the two Exorcist ripping through the ground causing a high pitch screeching in the process. The sound shattered the glass and the light bulbs that were protected by them as it made its way down the straight path. ”He’s already starting off with that spell; I guess he wants to end this battle quickly, what do you think Shinji?” Kirei asked as he turned and looked at the gunner. The magic gunner known as Shinji looked at Alexandria and prepared his weapon slowly adding strange bullets into it. ”I think Issei is about to be in trouble, did you not see how Mr. Barthomeloi started that glyph, he’s no noob, I actually think that spell was a bad choice. Kirei, get ready to jump into the battle, I’m going to go find a better place to shoot from.” Shinji whispered before running into the small forest behind them into the darkness allowing him to mask his location. Kirei stretched his arms above his head and then in front of him as he watched the raging thunder make its way down the path.

Exwire Ignazio’s eyes turned slight as Alexandria’s Qi was within his range, he turned his head to look at her as she spoke about helping him, but before he could reply back a blast of raging lightning made its way towards them. Ignazio quickly pushed his right index finger in a horizontal line in front of him changing the glyphs from their current locations into a straight line in front of himself and Alexandria. As the lightning struck the glyphs a large golden wall of Qi stood in its way, leaving Alexandria and Ignazio unscathed. ”I appreciate the help, but I really don’t think I need help with them.” he said as he looked over to where Kirei and Shinji were standing but when he looked Shinji was missing. ”On second thought, I might need a little help. I was trying not to go hard on them seeing how they are being possessed by Demons in order to gain these powers, but it’s starting to look like they are serious, there was three of them, one of them has a pair of guns, but I lost track of him. The other two I can feel a large amount of demonic energy, clearly this one uses something similar to magic, but the other one I’m not sure yet.” He whispered to Alexandria as he felt the lightning pushing his field closer to them. Ignazio took a step forward and removed his left hand from his pocket and placed it around his right wrist as his right hand expanded his fingers causing the wall to expand in size then crash into the ground before wrapping around Ignazio and Alexandria becoming a dome. ”I can’t identify the type of demon’s that have possessed them so using a Fatal Verse like I was going to use clearly isn’t going to be very effective at this rate. His timing is too fast for me to finish the incantation, so I guess that means I’ll have to show a little bit more than what I wanted to. Any ideas, because the ones I keep coming up with might kill them by accident, and I’d rather not do that.”

As the field was formed Issei took a leap backwards and stopped the lightning from firing. Bolts surged around his hands as he looked at the gold sphere around them. ”So you’re not as weak as I thought Mr. Barthomeloi, that’s good, because now I’ve identified your class as a defensive type. But unfortunately for you I’m a battle mage, a pure offensive magic user. Your defenses won’t be able to last long!” he called out as he continuously began to thrust out his arms as multiple bolts of lightning struck the field but as they stuck one spot they would run around the barrier they would run around the barrier and hit the rear or the sides. Soon the lightning was followed by fire and then the fire was turned into wind and next thing that happened was large stalagmites rising from the ground stabbing into the barrier. Issei laughed wildly as he continued to throw ‘spells’ at the two Exorcist. Kirei watched as Issei fought and smiled ”You might want to ease up on the MP you’re using before you burn yourself out again. That barrier of his doesn’t look like its taking much of a beating and the fact he was able to cut off his incantation and form it proves he’s stronger than you. Are you sure you don’t want any help? ”
The spells continued to fire from Issei as he danced around waving his arms and changing the different methods on how he opened or closed his hands until he stopped for a second to slam both hands on the ground ”I’ve got plenty of energy remaining, besides, I was just weakening the field for this. VOLCANIC DESTROYER!” He yelled at the top of his lungs as four glyphs formed underneath the barrier Ignazio created and two formed on the sides and one above. As the glyphs formed they burned with a bright red before a large tornado of fire came from the ground raging with high temperatures ripping at the field attempting to melt it to nothing and destroy what was within its walls. ”Didn’t you just learn that spell, and it’s pretty high level, I don’t think that was a wise move on your part.” ”Will you shut up you stupid summoner, you just focus on those little creatures that eat up your mana storage faster than a B-ranked spell eats up mine. Volcanic Destroyer is one of my stronger spells, they are more than likely ash by now. ”

Alexandria Elaine Ferdinand Doctor || Knight || Exwire Issei summoned a number of glyphs glowing beneath him as Alexandria drew closer to Ignazio. He spoke shallowly about not fighting girls before sending thunder towards them. Ignazio had transformed the glyphs into a barrier which blocked the strikes of lightening as they came. Alexandria watched as the boy from her own house ran off towards the forest, his shadow quickly disappearing between the blinding strikes coming from the battle mage. Having lost track of the Almedha boy she turned to view the other two boys before them.
Alexandria listened to Ignazio’s words, ”The gunner has left to find a better place to shoot us from.” She said nodding her head towards the direction of the forest. Having watched him for only a short time she wasn't sure where exactly in the forest the boy had ran off to. ”My guess is the other boy is some sort of ‘caster’. Although, I guess we will soon find out what exactly he does.” Alexandria said watching Kirei raise his hands above him. It didn't look like he was trying to cast magic in the manner Issei was, but they’d just have to wait and see what he was trying to do. Ignazio spoke quietly about how they should perhaps go about fighting the trio, without killing them that is. Alexandria thought for a moment, ”The only way you’ll be able to get enough time to use fatal verse is if I’m able to get their attention and distract them long enough. But since we aren't sure what they are capable of we probably shouldn't go that route.. I've a poison that can be used to temporarily paralyze them. Either I can use it with my rapier and attempt to get close enough to strike or we use one of your familiars to tactically strike. I’m just not sure how well the second option would work, as Garuda’s arrows are made of air… But if it does work we may be able to paralyze the two of them before having to search for the gunner.” She said quickly, it was a lot to explain. And even if the plan worked they would have to relocate the gunner within the hour before the paralysis wore off.
Issei spoke aloud to Ignazio as he seemed to be excited by idea that Ignazio was of a 'defensive' class in this game they played. Alexandria wondered if the game revolved around each player belonging to a singular 'class'. If that was the case, once the player's class was figured out it would likely be easier to find their weaknesses. Issei leaped back as he began to summon a different spell, one of fire. He called it the Volcanic Destroyer; but it instead was a tornado of flame that burned the ground as it crossed the field towards them. Alexandria prepared herself to leap back should there be any sign of the barrier breaking. Yet for now it appeared to be intact.

Exwire With the firing of the different spells Ignazio’s eyes began to twitch as he was getting annoyed with this whole defensive feeling. ”Remind me later to beat the hell out of him.” he said as he gripped his wrist harder but the more spells that struck the barrier the more stress it looked to place of Ignazio’s body. Blood slowly came from his wrist from his nails digging so deeply into his skin, but as soon as the first drop hit the ground the tornado of fire appeared. Ignazio bit his lip lightly as he added a little more Qi into the field strengthening the golden orb that protected them. He allowed his left hand to fall towards his right leg and pulled out Innocentius’ card once again but this time the look in his eyes changed, he wasn’t just annoyed or worried he was pissed off with the fact he was on the defensive for so long from people who though this was a game. ”Let’s go with plan two for now. I’ll make an opening for you” Falling to a knee Ignazio struggled to keep his right hand up in order to focus on the field being up around them. He placed the tarot card of the knight on the ground and allowed his blood that was dripping from his wrist to fall on to the face of the card. Ignazio closed his eyes as he took in a deep breath ”Let the gates in all directions be shut, rising above the crown, and let the three-forked roads to the Kingdom revolve. Stand up for your King! Come forth Innocentius! ” Ignazio chanted until he yelled the demon’s name just as the field was shattered sending Ignazio flying backwards into the wall of fire, but as his body touched the flames he hovered in the arms of a giant demon of fire and brimstone. The fire that was once swirling had come together to create the body of Innocentius. Ignazio was lowered to the ground by the giant who let out a massive screech.
Ignazio stayed on his knees and breathed heavily before slowly staggering to his feet and making his way over to the Justice card that lay on the ground. Bending over and picking up the card he raised it into the air and with eyes like ice he glared at the caster in front of him. ”You dumb a**, if you’re going to kill someone make sure you do it in one blow, and for making me fall to a knee for pitting you, I will show you the justice of a King. Your punishment is death. Innocentius! Destroy them all! ” he yelled as he pointed the card at Issei. Innocentius let out a massive roar before a sea of fire was sent from the beast’s hand towards the grounded Issei. Ignazio’s eyes watched the fire and glimmered in the sight of it. He looked over at Shinji and waved his left hand in his direction sending a massive wave of golden Qi towards him to knock the boy backwards into the trees if it hit him. Ignazio wasn’t playing games. His hair was raveled in front of his eyes and his crimson pants were dirty with the dirt from the ground.

”Impossible, you’re a summoner? That can’t be. You can’t have two classes” Issei protested as he eyed the giant create of fire. As the mage stood in shock the sea of fire was nearing him and he really didn’t have time to cast a protective spell on his own, but out of nowhere a large shield of royal blue and gold appeared Kirei stood over in the distance with his right hand extended in the way Ignazio was once before but while he was standing there the appearance of music notes circle around his hand like a glyph. ”Kirei!” Issei said shocked as he looked at the creature that stood behind the shield. As the shield moved upwards the fire was pushed away into the forest as a group of trees that were destroyed to nothing but ash. ”I told you that he was stronger than he looked, how else would he get through your barrier. Mr. Barthomeloi how about I be your opponent for now, seeing how we are both in the same class. I’m sure your Fire Demon over their will enjoy to fight my Hero of Justice; The Knight Gaia.” he called out as the creature revealed itself to be a large man covered in armor that resembled the shield. The large creature pulled out its silver sword and pointed it at Innocentius and then stepped away from Issei allowing the boy to rise to his feet. ”Guess, I’ll deal with her then, man I hate fighting girls. They never give a lot of EXP. Besides she’s a Knight Class, she can’t do much to me unless she gets within range. This battle won’t be any fun at all.”
”You should spend less time looking down on your opponent and take them all seriously, that’s how you almost became a level zero again from one attack.” Kirei joked as he snapped his fingers and the Knight started to run towards Innocentius. Issei spat towards the ground away from him and then began to prepare himself for another spell but this time it was different he two long swords appeared in his hands made up of a strange Qi and material. Issei spun the blades around and then took a stance for a second before pushing off the ground with a burst of energy to increase his speed and slash towards Alexandria.
Meanwhile in the forest Shinji had found himself a nice location within the trees and his pistols were changed into a sniper, he was locked on to the battle but not a single target yet. From this distance it looked as if he was a last resort.
