She stopped pouting when Melvin spoke up again. It seemed Dakota's antics didn't bother her today. Other than him being selfish, at least. Cookie. Why. "Thank you, Melvin~! I have no doubts~" she said with a huge smile. No more doubts, she was sure. "Though I may have to reconsider marrying a man who won't share his cookies with me."
The pout returned.

"I don't think.. maybe." It wouldn't surprise her if there was something in the gingerbread. She took an experimental nibble of her cookie before all out dropping it as Solomon began to shout. Pale eyes went wide, and she let out a little scream as he launched himself from his perch. Of course it wasn't as if he didn't know what he was doing, being a stuntman. He rolled, and Peyton let out a heavy breath before just.. staring more. He was, at the best of times, a giant man-child, which was part of his appeal, but this was a little extreme even for him. "Okay then. Could the Night please not launch himself from high places without warning? You'll give madam president a heart attack." She frowned, or tried to, but her lips weren't quite cooperating. "How much gingerbread have you had?"

He did not say a single thing to Stormy. In fact, his eyes remained purposely focused on Candace and Dakota, and remained there.
He smiled, feeling a bit giddy today. "Well, I suppose someone could break off a piece of the wall for you." He said, looking to Dakota.
Then, very slowly, he glanced at Stormy, narrowing his eyes, before looking back at Dakota. "Do you plan on moving out to the towns? I hear married couples tend to head out of the dorms after a while."

Jack was thoroughly confused, but that was alright--stunts were stunts were stunts, and that guy could definitely pull them. "Looks like he can take care of himself, prez," he said to Peyton, crumbling the gingerbread piece he'd taken before onto several cookies and then settling them on a plate he took along with him. "But go ahead, eat the same thing causing him to go crazy. Very smart."
He snapped several times in lieu of applause. "Nice one~ Got some more left in you, Batman?" Jack asked with a grin. "I've got even more gingerbread right here if you do."

Somewhere, Nevada heard the call of the giant man child, her gaze landing up at the sun hunter clinging to the ceiling. And his dramatic fall to the ground...
She sent a text...Demon_Pachabel Text to Solomon: You're scaring the children...

Taym went to go poke around the drinks table, hope springing eternal. Maybe he'd resort to eating the walls too, but he wasn't there quite yet. He hadn't gotten over what an a** he'd made of himself last time. At least on his preferred altered states, pre-Island, he didn't do anything much more embarrassing than throw up into people's sinks and fall asleep in strange places. On his way he passed near Peyton, and he touched her shoulder and bent to murmur something in her ear through a lupine, yellow grin, without actually breaking his stride. Peyton narrowed her eyes at Jack's forshortened use of a nickname he had no busines using, but otherwise said nothing. At least not until he mentioned the cookie she'd dropped. "That wasn't gingerbread, that was from the snack table." What now, smarty pants? She returned her attention to Solomon, unsure whether she should be amused or concerned. "All of it." Painted lips pressed together, but after a second or two she just shook her head and smiled. "At least you're having fun." Taym's in passing murmur was met with an attempted elbow to the kidney, but she missed.

He was a stuntman, stunts were what he did. Just like the gymnast still stashed away somewhere inside of him did..gymnast stuff.
"I need a much higher place to fall from if we're gonna see anything good, though." Solomon said as he glanced to Jack, grinning. "If Madam President is worried about that height..well...that's not too bad of a drop." While he was still abuzz with sugar and excitement, he didn't immediately launch himself back up the wall.
And then his phone went off.
So he replied to that too.
Then he flipped off Taym's back as he walked by because he didn't have to hear that to know what it was about.Nyxtsuki Moon Text to Nevada:CHILDREN NEED NOT FEAR BATMAN.

"And you assume there is only JOY in the walls?" he retorted with a raised brow that then followed briefly after the man that had whispered in her ear. "Trust nothing that looks too good to be true. Nice stray dog there, by the by."
To the sugar-high stuntman, Jack grinned in return. "Well, we could put my height to use. I could probably have you latching to the ceiling if you really wanted . . ."

“Ah… Bye Taym!” His departure was unexpected, and Shiloh’s words fell against a deaf back. Shiloh frowned, wondering about a lover’s spat, when Ian brought him back down to earth, his smile erasing away Shiloh’s frown. “Is it even possible to dislike you?” Shiloh teased, happy to turn back to his boyfriend. “I don’t think so though, anyway. Sounds like him and Maebe aren’t getting along, and, well, I don’t know but I think that he might like her? You know, like like her.” It was kind of like how he like liked Ian. He did his best to follow Ian’s advice, exhaling a little, and smiling back at him, giving his hand another squeeze as he leaned against him. “No, no, it’s all good, it’s good. Just new, that’s all but I’m glad you woke up in time. Your outfit is certainly cheerful, though, somehow I’m not surprised you own a sweater like that,” he grinned. Then, ducking his head a little, “You look very handsome, even with a potty mouth.” He’d been oddly clingy lately, and it had been hard enough to even pull away for a moment, let alone for him to consider an entire evening apart. He’d just gone for a bit of a walk, for some air, and had stumbled into the festivities. It explained his lack of holiday attire, not that he really owned anything applicable anyway. A red shirt, perhaps, but that was about it. Nonetheless, having Ian there put him at more ease, and, as he picked at Ian’s sweater, he was glad to have him there, even if they were trying something new. “Ah, yeah, totally!” he started, glancing around excitedly for his friend, but before he could spot her, another pink-tipped blonde blocked his view, delivering her message with a smile. He smiled back at her, thanking her as her hand met his arm. “Thanks Peyton, we’ll head over that way.” He turned back to Ian. “Well, that’s that, huh?” he said brightly. But he seemed a bit distracted. “How hard do you think Maebe will hit me if I dragged you over to that spinner first?”

Ian arched a brow. "That guy?" he repeated, with another glance at Taym's retreating back, hunched over shoulders looking somewhat like a skeletal bird. "That's the guy that likes Maebe? Man, I never would have guessed, but..." He tapped his chin thoughtfully. "That certainly is intriguing."
Shiloh leaned against him and Ian was only too happy to oblige, smiling down at him. One hand gently rubbed up and down his back in small gestures meant to reassure and soothe. "Hang in there," Ian said softly, and resisted the very strong urge to lean down and kiss the top of his head, thinking it would probably be too much too fast. Instead, he merely squeezed Shiloh's fingers again, keeping them laced together.
Peyton received a friendly smile as she passed, and once she was gone, Ian followed Shiloh's gaze to where he was looking, squinting at the spinner thing with a look of mixed curiosity and bemusement. He looked back at Shiloh and grinned.
"Lead the way, darling," he said. "I'll follow you."
In more ways than one, his brain whispered, but Ian pushed it away.

"It's not the height, it's the unexpected launch." She smiled, crossing her arms loosely. "It's startling." She couldn't help grinning at the one-fingered-salute the taller Sun offered to Taym's back, and she rolled her eyes before turning back to Jack. "Maybe they do, that's why it was a very tiny bite. But really, if JOY's all I have to worry about, I'm not all that concerned." It was JOY, it made you happier. With everything that had been going on lately, the place could use a little cheering up. She thought about responding to the stray dog comment, but figured it was just better for all parties involved if she just didn't rise to that bait.

Dory had missed the announcement at first - and the whole everything turning in to gingerbread. Also, people being farted on was rather hilarious to get a picture of, when you were on your way. He may have also gussied himself up a little, and replaced his cigarette with a cool tasting peppermint cane.
Wandering through the small crowd, he found the hard-to-miss Sun member, clearing his throat a little. "Already in to the party without me?"
