Bix pointed to the no touching sign.

Harrison affirmed the decision with a mildly threatening, "Good call," before resting his arms on Rep's shoulders.

"Haha, you're right. When his hips are swinging the little tail goes back and forth," Harrison said, apparently cheered by this turn of events, even as Bix wandered off.

He softened into the hug, reading over Rep's shoulders.

"Really knocked you for a loop, huh?"

Maybe he could have used it. Cheery was cheery, even if they had seasonal mad science to thank for it.

Taym closed his eyes when Bix left but unfortunately not quick enough to avoid seeing the skirt flounce, a mental picture that would require gentle eye-bleachings for weeks to come.

Work to do.

He sat down on the grass, ripped open the box, and began to mechanically work his way from one to the next.

"I dunno, I feel good now. Maybe it was just a ******** fluke." he commented with a smile. "Shame Bix wasn't up for some entertainment. Guess he's a busy lady."

He leaned his head against Harrison. "Everything was so s**t and now everything is so ok I just.." he sniffed. "I can't hold all these feelings."

He sent another message on the phone. "I think you should be in my lap feeding me ice cream, that would be nice."

Pey had still been muffling laughter against Solomon's arm when Milo mentioned her, and she peered around the taller Sun's arm to look up at him as he poked his fingers into his cheeks to exaggerate a grin. Yes, okay Milo, she was smiling now. Thank you. "Being a girl, I would hope so. I mean you're both very pretty, too.." She snickered, shifting on her heels. "I never really noticed before how completely out numbered the girls are in our division." There were girls everywhere on the island, just.. apparently not in Sun.

Sol's suspicious look, or what little of it she could currently see, was met with a level stare that slowly twisted up into a thoughtful, impish smile. "I should take a picture, you're right, but not of Evan."

Her phone appeared in her hand as she took a step back from the Sunboys. "Big smiles now, ladies." The phone came up, and she gave them all of about 2 seconds to react before snapping off a picture. "This will definitely make me happy for a long time." The phone disappeared back into the ruffled confines of the maid outfit. "You really do have the best ideas, Sol."

She hadn't noticed Taym up until now, had actually not expected to see him, given the whole guys is dresses aspect, but there he was, being attended to by Bix, and looking altogether ruffled by having a guy, a friend even, in a dress taking his order in the most overly cliched animu imitation ever. It was actually pretty funny to watch. Up until the point where Taym had eaten some of the ice cream and uncharacteristically benign, nay, benevolent smile slid across his face. It looked absolute foreign.

It also made her glance around at everyone else eating the frozen treats, and her brows rose thoughtfully.

She gave Sol and Milo both a nudge in the sides, squeezing in between them. "I think there's something in the ice cream."

"You're better than OK," Taym informed Bix. "You're pretty much the best. You know? Like. Even in a dress. I think you rock it. You could, like, start a trend. Maybe you--"

The words died in his mouth.

"Oh god," he hissed through his teeth, grabbing Bix's ankle since he was sitting and it was the only thing he could reach. "How have I never noticed?"

He was gazing at Candace as though she were floating around in a halo of light. <********. She's engaged, right? Do I care? I don't think I care."

Bix looked down at Taym and then over at Candace.

He looked absolutely devilish.

"Oh man you should totally go for it.." he snickered.

"I can't," he hissed. "Look at her. Jesus."

Back to the phone, then back to Bix. "Bix," he said. "This is great." What exactly was great was hard to say. "You think I got a chance? I don't. I don't. Like. Way--way out of my..." he held his hands very far apart, to indicate how many leagues separated him from Candace.
