Getting more and more angry that this beast was kicking his a** Monty ran straight for it and upon reaching it jumped and kicked the shadow beast thing right in the gut. Tomoko was off to a really awful start. No really, they were asking Tomoko - the wimpiest of wimpiest - to attack things and it didn't even matter that it was attacking her first.
She was never going to graduate.

With no strength left in him Monty just stood there staring at the creature as it made it's way for him again. Just as he was about to take whatever energy he had left in him to try and swipe at it again the shadow sent him flying so hard across the arena. Monty landed by wall and that's where he would stay for a little while. That is till he had enough sense to get up and make a break out of the arena. Quote: HP ~0/30 Monster Mob HP ~20/28. She'd give it another strong go, though. Except the thing was really hard to hit and Tomoko didn't hit hard to begin with.

Eye for an eye; a tooth for a tooth. When critters bite, it's fair game to bite back.
Levi opened up wide and sunk her teeth into her foe, exhaling her venom onto it. Hopefully that would stick for a good while.

Back to wrangling this fellar! Given it was writhing around so much, the mascot shadow was proving to be just as elusive as Levi's own tail. Respect; it had guts- well, maybe it did. The ghoul had no idea what its innards looked like.

Levi continued going at the critter, now wriggling with it on the ground. One way, or another, it would be smothered into defeat.

Claw marks seemed to vanish where the ghoul had fairly recently just grazed at the shadow. It took the tatzel ghoul a little longer than normal to get why this was occurring, but she got there eventually. Sure, healing after a few bruises and scrapes wasn't a big deal, but Levi couldn't say she did so quite as promptly as her undead foe here could.
Peering around until she caught sight of West, Levi would quickly revert to whirling around on the floor, trying to get the critter to submit. Hopefully, she'd do so before he could.

What was it her Gran used to tell her about dragon kin that had many heads? The heads would grow like weeds in a whicker basket- or something like that. That idea popping into the tatzel's mind at that time was what suddenly drove her to grasp down at the mascot's head with her tail, pinning it to the floor. With both hands, she swiped at the neck of it until there was no neck left to- wait, aren't you not supposed to cut off the heads?Levi sat in perplexity over this thought beside what was left of her foe. Eventually, the ghoul would arise and meet up with the wrath demon to compare their personal scores.
